The Hilton Garden Inn-Arlington is a wonderful hotel. It is fresh, clean with ample meeting room and a great location. But without a doubt the staff is the real treasure you will find there. Every smile returned with enthusiasm, every request embraced and every need covered.

Not please found dead roaches in room, food in the corner, refrigerator not cleaned out, staff though it was funny that we were upset about the roaches but we was not raised in filth so yeah I was.

My concern to write this review is to bring this issue I had encounter during my check in. It was alex in the front desk. He was on his cell phone even though I was in his front checking in. For that reason he cannot get my card process correctly. He flatly turn his back leaving me no clue of if I have a room or he can offer me to pay some other way to get a room? but he just keep busy on his cell phone. Friday 8/31 at 8's pm. Please have a little concern to your job description and be more focus to your guest regardless of Hilton employee or regular guest. I am gold as Hilton member.

I prefer it. They have everything. And it's located in the middle of everything. The South facing side offers a breathtakingly stunning view of Arlington's Entertainment District. Quick room service, clean everything, and sales manager Mrs Dixon is so knowledgeable and informative, very professional, and made sure the entire trip went well.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Comfortable rooms with comfortable beds and comfortable pillows. Good breakfast, but you have to pay $12 for it. It's not worth that much for some eggs or an omelette. The walls of the rooms are very thin and I could hear everything happening on both sides of my walls. All in all, nice hotel and I would stay here again.

Absolutely awesome. The staff to the spotless rooms makes this the best downtown stay. Be sure to keep your room key to get in and out of the parking garage across the street. It will be pricy to park if you do not. Love staying at this hotel. Good views from the top level pool and workout room.

I reserved a 2 queen bed non smoking room for two nights. Once on check in I was advised that my card will be charged $30 extra each night and after check out the will be refunded back to my card (3-14 business days) if I didn’t buy anything at the hotel. There’s a no pet policy only medical pets this couple is walking a American Pittbull thru the lobby now now when did those dogs become medical pets. Back to my room once in my room I was given a single king room not 2 queen bed room then told the manger about the problem she reply oh I upgraded you No ma’am that’s not what I ask for she said all rooms are full I left and came back to find a$10 gift note under my room door to use at the hotel snack bar Very unsatisfied customer I won’t ever stay at a Hilton garden again!

Great spacious rooms. Only issue I had was with a loud AC that buzzer pretty loudly when initially turning on. The staff were accommodating in assisting with that issue. Would definitely recommend. It has a great location with relation to all of the Arlington attractions nearby.

We stood in the hotel lobby, with over 40 additional customers for over an hour waiting for a room. They hadn't cleaned enough rooms, so guests were forced to sit around and wait well beyond check in time. When check in time is advertised at 3pm, it's completely unnaceptable to force this many paying customers to stand around and wait. They are running a terrible business with poor customer service. Don't waste your time here, stay somewhere else.

I’ve never had anything stolen before at a hotel until I stayed here. I accidentally left my pearl necklace in the hotel room & didn’t realize until after I had checked out. Turns out that my necklace wasn’t found or turned into security. The operator just said “sorry” — I then asked to talk to the housekeeping manager to see who cleaned my room and if it was a housekeeper or a third party staffing company. He would not give me that information. I asked to talk to security to fill out a stole items report, & was taken back t hear “guests don’t talk to security” & that he would be filling out the missing item/stolen report. I usually wouldn’t make a big deal about this, but my grandmother gave me that genuine pearl necklace on my 16th birthday, a tradition in my family, & the lack of care from this hotel was upsetting. Yes, the operator empathized with me & seemed sincere, but he also didn’t seem shock to hear about the theft which makes me think that this is a regular occurrence, bottom mention there was no follow up call from the GM or housekeeping manager.

This hotel is one of the older hotels in the area near Six Flags. The rooms are what I'd call traditional with the standard decor and furnishings. The TV is small and some of the channels aren't in HD. There is a small refrigerator and a Keurig single-serve coffee maker in each room with a selection of coffee and tea options. Overall, the rooms are clean and quiet. The A/C works great! They offer breakfast that is not included unless you select a room rate that includes breakfast (I believe this is normal at Hilton Garden Inns). For a night or two, I'd stay here again. For an extended period of time, I'd find a place that is less expensive and one that offers free breakfast. There are quite a few in the area.

I am staying at the hotel right now. The front desk experience was NOTHING like any Hilton I've stayed in with rude front desk. I asked to speak with manager, the Asian lady at the front desk, gave me a card to email him, states he's offsite… My first complaint was about the incidental charge, that couldn't be explained & wasn't included in booking… She said it was because I had kids. Second, I booked two rooms that supposed to be conjoined, the young lady response was they're overbooked. Third, room I booked was not the same room I received. I booked two junior suites and received two king rooms… Fourth, pipe / water problem inside of the bathroom. When wash your hands the bathroom starts to smell really bad. On top of that the toilet starts making a loud humming noise. Fifth, the room was below satisfactory in cleanliness. There wasn't enough towels inside of the bathroom. Pillow cases looked less white than the sheets. .

Really nice family friendly Hilton. Close to all the fun spots in Arlington.

Friendly service and good made to order breakfast as well. Had lighted pool and hot tub and a bar. Parking is free and they had spaces even when sold out. Across street from six flags. Could see from window. But not hear anything.

Great place. I did have one minor issue that I had to report a few days in a row in order to get it resolved but no big deal.

Booked 1 room and later needed to add another they were super helpful and got us taken care of. After our arrival they saw that we had small children and suggested a great ice cream shop (Iceland ice cream) it was perfect for us. The pool was great and rooms were clean and well maintained. Lacey at the front desk took care of everything for us and the breakfast staff was awesome they were very busy and took care of everything quickly and professionally. Thanks for a great stay we will be back.

Really nice place to stay. But you can't open the window in the room and the air condition is noisy.

Terribly run Hilton, would definitely not stay here as the are very apt to overcharge… try to charge me for a night that I was not there and was unwilling to forgo a penalty charge on a double booking… less apologies and more action… that’s how you get return guests and better reviews.

Close proximity to AT&T Stadium and local bars and restaurants. Easy access to the highway. Hotel was clean and the staff was courteous.

The hotel has an excellent location if you are planning to visit Six Flags, a Rangers game or the Cowboys. There are also plenty of restaurants in the area or one in the lobby if you don't feel like going out.

Close to everything in the Arlington Arts District. Great food very close and a lot to do. When you get finished with this vacation you're going to need a vacation when you get home just because of how busy you were when you were on vacation in Arlington Texas. Cowboys Raiders Hurricane Harbor Six Flags… Arlington has got it all and the Hilton Garden Inn is right in the heart of it all! The rooms were nothing spectacular but then again do you won't be in the room much.

Staff was nice and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice lobby. Hallway a little loud, but not bad.

The location was really close to the freeway which was nice and the rooms were really big for a standard hotel room. Everything seemed pretty clean.

Best breakfast buffet I've ever had. Funniest & nicest staff ever! Will definitely be staying here every time I visit Arlington. Try the BBQ Ham and Cheese fries.

Very competitive pricing and the rooms are very large and comfortable. The staff are amazing! My home was hit by a nasty storm so my family and I had to stay at a hotel, they were very understanding and helped with the best price possible. We will return to this location again if ever needed.

The Garden Inn is a great place to stay! The rooms are very clean and the staff is amazing. The waiter even remembered us from our visit last year.

The staff of the hotel were amazing. I remember Sam E. With catering being especially helpful. The food was delicious! Also, we rearranged the furniture so we had room to do some activities during our meeting and the staff helped rearrange the room once we were done. Though it wasn't expected, it was greatly appreciated. I would look forward to having another meeting here.

What we thought we as going to be a challenge, turned out to be a blessing. All the conference hotels were full. We picked this one nearby and took our chances. Glad we did! Courtesy van delivered us to/from our conference. Accommodations were very nice. No problems and liked the location as it was closer to some restaurants anyway. Will stay here again if need a room near the Arlington convention center or other nearby attractions.

Very attentive staff, make you feel welcome to be here. Rooms are always clean and the breakfasts are above average. Priced very reasonably. Anytime I come to Dallas, they are always my first and second choice. Location is great, very easy to get on Highway to either Dallas or Fort Worth and quick drive to Ranger stadium.

Front desk personnel are outstanding. Rooms are clean and generous in size. Saltgrass Steakhouse right next door about 20 yards. Rangers, Cowboys, and 6 Flags are 5 minutes away. Whole Foods 10 minutes away.

I made a reservation cancelled the same day, talked to one of their represenatives on that day, corrected the reservation for a later date. The representative told me I would not be charged. My card was charged, I have tried to talk to Assistant General Manager all morning to get my card refunded. I was promised a call back since 7am this morning, then a promise to call back in 30 minutes. I have never recieved a call as of yet. I talked to my bank, basically all they have to do is an instant refund. This very door customer service, I am cancelling all future reservations. I will be contacting the Corporate headquarters and others for resolution to this matter. Respectfully Submitted, D. Turner.

Literally have been here for less than an hour and this is disappointing. I always stay at Hilton and Hilton affiliates. Always. This place is absurd. Requested a pack n play. Got it, not set up. No big deal except for it came with no sheet and was dirty. Luckily we brought wipes and an extra. The room smells and is pretty small compared to other hiltons. Tv is small but I can manage. We are on the first floor by the road. The curtains don't close! Wtf. Who does that. Changing is not fun in front of a practically open window. And trying to get a baby to sleep? Forget about it. Very disappointed.

Pickup truck was broken into at this location*** Our initial impression of the hotel was good. Turning in and parking was tight. Our reception at the front desk was brash and matter-of-fact. We expected breakfast to be included, but found out that was not the case. Some stipulation that we would forego our HHonors points for breakfast. Rules are not like other Hilton locations. Due to a limited parking lot, we had to park on the side of the hotel. It was dimly lit and the access door key slide on that side of the hotel was not functioning. No cameras monitor that side of the building. I mentioned that hopefully my truck was safe. Suspicious of the handyman. The room was nice, but the bed was unexpectedly a sleep number air type, which was havak on our night's rest. The next day, tired and cranky, we went out to the truck to find that it was burglarized overnight. Luckily, only a few pairs of prescription glasses were taken, but $500 worth of glasses and $250 for the lock to be fixed equalled a high price for a stay here. We let the front desk know about the break in, and they said that others had complained of the same thing. We found the lack of care taken for basic safety alarming. Obviously more victims will be likely. The breakfast was okay, but costly. The bar was the same. Overall, if you must stay here, park near the front next to a nicer vehicle than your own. I would say avoid this tourist trap.

The staff take their time on delivering great customer service. Extremely clean and safe hotel. Many restaurants and entertainment businesses are around the hotel. Including the famous Six Flags.

The Hilton Garden Inn has incredibly comfortable beds and pillows. The building is modern looking, clean and conveniently located near several restaurants.

Its a nice hotel, FD Staff unfriendly except for a few. They just put heads down as you walk by. The breakfast restaurant keep interrupting you during meeting at breakfast. Rooms and exercise room are good. One treadmill out all week.

I too was refused the option of selecting the free breakfast instead of points at check-in. I have done this at Hilton Garden Inns all over the country. But this hotel is refusing to do it and claiming I had to make the choice 24 hours in advance. I made my reservation less that 24 hours before I even checked in. I have spoken to two people at the front desk who won't even provide me with commentary breakfasts to keep a Diamond member satisfied. I asked for the manager Justin, who I see replies to reviews here. They told me he won't be in until Monday, which does me no good since I check out on Sunday. They also said I could email him and he MIGHT see it over the weekend and respond. I still can't believe they actually told me that. I guess my next option is to speak to whatever management is on premise tomorrow morning, which they said won't be here until 9am, 2 hours after breakfast begins. Most Hilton brand hotels treat their Diamond members very well, but this seems to be the exception. I'm starting to think I should have stayed at a DoubleTree or regular Hilton instead.

First Hilton property that I have had a stayed at that didn't go out of their way to make everything right to ensure an enjoyable stay. Most Hilton properties either have a sign and/or demonstrate their commitment to customer service and satisfaction unlike this one which is more concerned about the cost of breakfast than good customer service. If they don't care about their loyal Hilton Honors gold customers I can't imagine how they treat those that travel less frequently.

The hotel itself and staff are top notch. The only issue I have is that this location did not provide free breakfast vouchers. When I inquired, they had no idea what I was talking about. Every other Hilton Garden Inn I stay at such as Dallas/Richardson and Austin North provide the vouchers to me. Quite frustrating and disappointing.

My one free breakfast was cooked to perfection with someone's long brown hair in it. My reservation was suppose to include breakfast and somehow they can click a button to fix it in their system. Don't waste an hour of your time talking to them like I did because Kristina Abrahams solution is to tell you to check out and go some where else. Being a Diamond member there does not mean anything to this particular hotel.

The beds are so uncomfortable I'd rather sleep on the floor. The beds don't work… it's just a fake dial. Never coming back unless they put sleep number beds in my room. I just arrived here from a wonder fum game, tired, and now I can't sleep because of back issues.

The worst mattress I have slept on. I have stayed in hundreds of Hilton owned hotel and these beds are horrible. They said the mattresses adjust with the dial on the side… if thats the case boths beds need dials calibrated or replaced. … #crooked_back/scoliosis Room 232.

I have been planning my event with this hotel for almost one year. Every step of the way, Cera, the Sales Director guided me through without a hitch. Attention to every detail was met. We were pampered at every turn, and our reunion attendees continued to give me great reviews throughout the weekend on how much the staff helped satisfy their needs and exceeded our expectations. Megan, Brooks, Cera, Trina, Roberto and others have given the Hilton much to be proud of. I have coordinated events for many years, mostly on a corporate level, and I come to demand great service with high expectations. The Hilton Garden Inn Arlington truly made me look good and I appreciate everything they did to make our 65 guests comfortable and our stay memorable. Thank you so very kindly!

I will never use this place again or refer it to anybody. The staff was great but the "adjustable beds" (they don't adjust) are the worst thing I've ever slept on. I would've been more comfortable sleeping in my truck. Also, I shouldn't even have to worry about hearing people outside the building when I'm on the third floor. So, being woken up at 7:30 A. M. On a Sunday by screaming kids in the pool is complete BS.

Fantastic customer service. They did more than just meet my needs, they went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience possible. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Location was great, it was nice and quiet. However, the beds were the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on. It was adjustable but even on the soft setting it was hard as a rock. Told the front desk clerk and she just kind of shrugged her head. Will definitely not be staying at this hotel again.

They did not honor reservation.

This HGI is wrongfully managed. Under a poor excuse of "security reasons", they will not allow a Hilton Honors Diamond member use their business office to print out attachment to email while on a business trip and not currently staying at their lodging. Yet the Diamond member has stayed at that HGI in the past and has a future reservation in the first week of March 2014. In all travels at Hilton branded hotels over the many years going back to at least 1970s, there have been no rejection for a request to use the business office for printing or computer usage by any of the Hilton hotels I have stayed at whether as a guest or as a non-guest emergency need to use the computer facility. This is the first and only time this rejection occurred. At this very hotel on 2/15/14. When a Diamond member shows their IDs, and a Hilton-branded hotel rejects the request to use the business office, it is a very big anomaly. SO, I GIVE THIS PARTICULAR HGI-hilton branded lodging a one star rating. It is time to file complaint with hilton honors and cancel my march 2014 reservation at this hotel. Poor management decision by their ppl caused this incident that shouldn't have happened.

My wife is a stickler for cleanliness and great service. Hilton Garden Inn of Arlington offered both of these attributes and as a result made her and me very happy to stay here. We stayed 4 nights. The staff was excellent. If you have a chance to add breakfast to your visit do so as it is quite excellent. The food and the wait staff is above any restaurant that we have ever been in. Their number 1 goal is for you to be happy and comfortable during your stay. General Manager Charlie Olisa has an excellent staff. We stayed there with others for a family reunion. I did not hear a complaint from any of our relatives. We assume they all had as great a time as we did. The hotel location is excellent as it is very close to Cowboy's Stadium, The Ball Park in Arlington, Six Flags and Hurricane Alley. Now that we know of this great place we will definitely look to stay there again whenever we visit family in the area. We will most likely.

Breakfast isn't free. ($12 a plate) would be one thing you should no, since it isn't posted anywhere. (Found out the hard way) But overall it's a good value, very clean and close to everything in Arlington, which includes amusement/water parks, Dallas Cowboys, and Texas Rangers. So there will be kids running around acting like kids. Pool area is nice, and clean.
