Excellent customer service & very nice staff.

It's fairly pricey for what you get, but that's just the area. Room was in decent shape, clean and change bedding few times a week. Is a train pretty close so that woke me up more than once since was working nights, walls are thin as well, which also woke me up several times. It's simply an ok place, not much to choose from in the area and all of its over priced.

Ok for a drive through. It looks like new, but shoddy construction. Even with the newness not everything was clean. "Free" Wi-Fi is spotty and free breakfast is coffee and fruit loops.

Rooms are decent the guy working behind desk seemed like he lacked people skills, he was kind of rude at check in but might have been cause it was 4 am in the morning.

Drove 10 hrs get to room get key and someone else is already in it.

Nice clean rooms and the manager was nice and helpful.

My room was clean, but I didn't care for the stained towels and my sheets were very worn out. I didn't know about breakfast because the man who checked me in said nothing.

This is I great and wonderful motel I recommend staying here anytime if ur in these parts of Texas I live the room and so does my wife Valerie Ann Becerra Reeves.

Room smell was bad and difficult to clear our, bathroom was very dirty, poor towels. Top it off was not told there was a free breakfast so I missed that too! Not happy, please stay else where is my recommendation!

Pretty nice rooms for the money. I am always on the road and stay in mostly small towns due to the nature of my business and I found the Big Lake Inn to be among the top tier of small town hotels. There is a twin burner cooktop kitchen and the room was clean with decently comfy beds. Also the manager was hilarious and very informative of the surrounding area. Will definitely be staying here again many more times this summer as I have a long term project down here.

The staff and manager were not respectful of the do not disturb signs and insisted on entering the rooms on our long term stay even after they were asked to not come in. When I tried to address the issue I was ignored and talked over. The lack of Customer Service and respecting the guest wishes. Moved to another location and being treated very well. Will not recommend.

Huge room with a small fridge, flat top, and sink. Ended up in this small town due to a flat tire, and was overwhelmed by the friendliness of the owner. He pointed us around town and definitely went out of his way to make us feel welcome.

The amenities aren't great and the beds are a bit on the stiff side. But the staff is nice and it's reasonable for what it is.

This hotel accommodates oilfield workers most of the time, therefore it can feel like a bit of a bachelor pad at times. With that being said, the hotel manager Sam went above and beyond for me during my stay. I met his lovely wife and children, he graciously shared authentic Indian food and even offered and lent me his car to run an errand, so I didn't have to walk by myself in a town full of lonely men who had been harassing me. My room was clean and nice and anything I needed I was promptly given. I will forever be grateful for him and his wife Mandy's generosity and willingness to help a perfect stranger. I consider them friends now and should I ever return to that part of Texas, I'll choose to stay at The Republic, hands down.

Fantastic room. It's much bigger than I expected. There was a small kitchen and the towels were huge. Very nice manager, very helpful. Going to check out the breakfast now. This is the place to stay when your in the area.

This is new and clean outdoor property, very spacious for two couple and reasonable price, with my great surprise they have a texas waffle maker and fresh fruites. I really enjoy my stay because of friendly and helpful front desk.
