Very clean rooms with friendly personnel.

Super friendly staff and their breakfast is really good.

Checked into the hotel tonight. There was not clean room rag on the door. But room looked cleaned left to explore the town came back and there was no face towels, no hand soap, no bath soap, no trash bags, and hardly any tissue paper. I called downstairs and the lady at the front desk was extremely nice and offered to change rooms. The two rooms on the first floor smelled like whoever was in that room had a dog or cat. Also neither room had towels or soap. Hell they had less no shampoo or conditioner. The hotel had no towels at all to give and the valet person and the front desk went on a 15 minute journey to find soap. This is by fair, as a Diamond member, the worst property I could have ever stayed in….

The Family and Friends Price makes this stay even more enjoyable. Staff are great, Pool is Cool.

It is a beautiful, clean and friendly hotel and great service. Plus side, it is minutes from the Riverwalk.

Showed up to hotel just to find out our room is NOT ready although was told would be ready for check in by 4pm. Front desk said could be 30 mins or hour. But could not confirm nor help us. Room was $149 per night, couldn't help with any refund or exchange because booked through priceline. Very disappointing to show up and not have a guarantee room available although was paid in full and days in advance.

We are in Katy for a horseshow. I’ve never written a review but there were so many things wrong with this stay. 1) The first room we were given, the door didn’t lock when we closed the door so not secure and it was just my daughter and myself (her mom). 2) The second room didn’t have shampoo and when housekeeping came to exchange for a refill, she wasn’t wearing a mask. In fact, the staff at the front desk rarely had their masks on. 3) The notice on the mirror said that no housekeeping would be provided because of COVID-19, however, it was clear that housekeeping had entered our room while we were out. We would have put a do not disturb notice on the door and not left our belongings out if we had known. 4) This is the big one that caused me to leave and take my daughter at 11:30pm on a Friday night. We thought someone had been trying our door during the evening but dismissed the jiggle we were hearing as someone just going in their own room down the hall. However, someone banged on our door at 10pm and then someone tried to open it again about 30 minutes later. We had all volume down by then and it was clear someone was trying the door. The young woman at the front desk said she checked the hall to see if kids were playing but never called me back to let me know and wasn’t helpful in helping us feel we were safe. In fact, she was very dismissive of how scared we were to be on the 4th floor, just a mom and teen daughter.

Clean room, loved the outlet as a USB ports all around the room. Loved the way to store my luggage via wall hooks or under the bed, or next to the bed. Tons of signs posting 6 ft away reminders.
Shower stall very nice and spacious.
look like a small fridge in the room, very nice.
Riverwalk and Alamo are with walking distance.
No real convenience store near by.
So it was nice to buy things from the hotel and charge it to the room.
Bring drinks and a tooth brush and tooth paste or it could really be pricey.
Valet parking is $30 night. Not much choice for parking. Meters are there but not where I would want to leave my car.
Not directly on Riverwalk but close.
Front Desk was just ok.
It was real confusing trying to just walk in the lobby, if no hotel key you got to wait on the staff to open door. Which checking in you wouldn’t have the key.

My family and I truly enjoyed the stay!
It’s super clean! It’s located very close to the Pearl where all the restaurants located and if you want your food to be deliver their is variety of food choices as well! My kids enjoyed the pool and all the amenities. Valet parking is available through the entire stay and the staff are extremely nice. The beds are comfortable and rooms are really nice!
I totally will come again and I recommend to everyone!

Oh boy where do I begin let me start off with the positive and go from there. Front desk staff was very nice and accommodating for us. We had a issue with our booking and the gentleman that was there was more than eager to help and fix it.
The river walk and other attractions are literally across a parking lot so super convenient! We didn’t have to loose our parking spot in front of the hotel. The actual rooms were big and roomie, Specially the one with two beds. Very clean and they also have everything you need in them. The bathrooms were very nice with a glass shower door and fancy shampoo, conditioner and body wash available.
The gym was very nicely equipped but very hot like the ac was off. Now to the bad parts of the review The gentleman ran my card a couple of times so I asked him if there would be a double charge or a price difference and he said no. (I got double charged $110)
The lobby which is very cute and modern was closed except for the front desk area and the sitting area by the front entrance. No breakfast which is supposed to be included but because of covid which I understand
The pool was nothing like in the pictures so we were very disappointed. The large chess area was broken and was missing the chess pieces I guess because of covid as well. There was a lot of ants by the seating areas in the pool area.
Parking is a a hassle!

Really liked the hotel. Our room was clean, the hotel was clean. All the staff we talked to were nice, and polite. It is close to downtown, we walked the majority of the time, or we rode the scooters. Overall, a great experience! Will definitely stay here again!

Excellent service, beautiful surroundings and most of all the employees are very helpful, nice and courteous. The vallet parking employees are very professional and very cool. Me and my family will make it a point to stay here every time we come to San Antonio!

This place was amazing and a gem. The staff was super courteous and just made you feel welcomed. Great location! And rooms are great. Simple but functional. Will come back anytime I’m in San Antonio.

The employees were amazing. A little surprised at the end by the price for parking. The continental breakfast was vast and very good. The room size was a little small, but very modern. The power outlets have a limited on electricity. What this means is that even with a "super charger" your phone will take several hours to charge. Location is GREAT! Just blocks from all the downtown sites. Overall this was a very nice experience.

Very nice hotel. Clean, no-frills room with comfortable beds (no drawers, no closet, no desk) just a table, chair, night stand and hanging rod. Great added amenities in room and throughout the hotel… Wall hooks, wall length counter, walk in shower, mini fridge, darkening shade, alarm clock, and more. Great breakfast area; continental plus eggs and meat. A wonderful outdoor pool; with Cabana area, large Chess/checkers floor set, plus handicap accessible. Great snack and drink items available at the front desk. Cool play area for adults and kids, with comfortable diverse seating areas plus games.

Great new concept. Just the basics, eco friendly and a very modern look. Seems as if they’re going for the millennial crowd. Staff was super friendly.

Awesome hotel! Aimed at millennial and the younger generation, my boyfriend and I stayed here on a weekend trip it’s right by the river walk a five minute drive! They have really cheap valet parking so you never have to park, super friendly young staff there to make you happy! They have nice treats and beer to select from. Rooms were a little weird, very modern looking but bright and big! 10/10 recommend.

My family and I booked a night here over Memorial Day weekend. After enjoying the pool in the afternoon we went to our room to put the baby to nap. The housekeeping staff woke her up on different occasions by yelling and cursing at each other about who is cleaning what room. We complained and it didn't stop so we left. They did not charge us for the night. The next day Leslie called me and apologized profusely and offered us a free weekend on them, so I'm thinking great! At least they are making up for it. Well, after weeks of trying to get my vouchers, I still don't have them after many attempts to get them. Now I feel like a nuisance when I call to see about them. They should have never offered them if they weren't going to follow through.

Really enjoyed the stay here! Super friendly & helpful staff! The rooms were very big & extremely clean, as was the lobby. I really liked the games & tables in the lobby. The only 2 cons about Tru by Hilton was the breakfast & price for valet parking. The breakfast was very boring, definitely needs an upgrade. The valet was a bit pricey, $25 a night is a little steep. They could at least not charge for parking if you stay more than 1 night. (If you stay for an entire weekend Thursday — Sunday, you will be charged $75 for valet. ) Other than that, place was great!

Stayed here for our honeymoon for four days and couldn’t be happier with it! The staff were the sweetest I’ve ever experienced. Super helpful, even gave us a recommendation to an amazing pizza delivery place when we were hungry late one night. The room was small, but super comfortable. Tv came with showtime and hbo movie channels. The bathroom shower had three huge bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that lasted us the whole trip. Complimentary breakfast had the best options I’ve seen at a hotel. Every kind of bagel you can think of and an insane amount of toppings for bagels and yogurt. Location was absolutely perfect! Mere seconds from the Rivercenter Mall, and just a ten min or less walk to all the cool points of interest along the riverwalk. Valet parking was $24 a day but well worth the price. They took good care of our vehicle and were swift with getting it to us when we needed it. Thank you to all the staff for being so good to us! We will definitely be coming back!

When I arrived I asked the guy outside where do I park, he informed me the only parking available was valet. I learned later on there were other options and that I was being charged 24$ for that. Very unhappy about that, it would have been nice to know prior to booking. I booked on expedia. The staff inside was very nice though. Once I got checked in I was informed that they would put another 100$ on hold. Great as if I didn't wanna use that on my actual trip but whatever. The hotel itself was brand new so I tried to over look the elevator going out 3 times on my 2 day stay and the ants on the floor by the breakfast area (see pics). I was a little upset that roach spray was being used as we ate our breakfast. Our room was clean which was the only other positive. I love the look of the inside. Very modern. The room itself doesn't have drawers and I wouldn't recommend as a place to stay with a toddler. Don't think I will ever book again.

Fun location! Walking distance from River enter mall. My favorite part is that the bathroom doesn't have the super tiny shampoo bottles. You get a large bottle attached to the wall. So I don't have to bring my own shampoo. They give you all you need. Least favorite is the walls are kinda thin. We could hear a group of people in the hallway at midnight talking. They were probably just really loud but we could also hear the neighbors TV. All in all, it's a fun place to stay. Very comfy and sleek.

Small rooms, dirty neighborhood, zero parking. Only real option is valet for 24 dollars. Overpriced!

We stayed here this past weekend and had a great experience. The staff was really professional and personable. They helped us with picking some restaurants on the Riverwalk. The lobby area has a "Game room" area, which I've never seen in another hotel. The room is nice, cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. The only thing missing was a dresser of some sort. The breakfast bar in the morning was just enough to start the day. I would definitely stay again.

I do not recommend! service was unpleasant. Room was very very small luggage cart could hardly even fit in the room! Managers were very rude and employees had no clue what they were doing. Obviously CLUELESS on how to run a hotel. My food they served for breakfast was very cold & hard to eat! not even to mention my dishes I was suppose to eat with were dirty! Sheet & towles had stains on them very filthy. I will never return again! They should be ashamed & should really look into how to run a hotel.

Experience was ok. Soaps in the bathroom smelled great, I loved the shower, beds we're kinda comfy, room was very basic and minimal, which I guess is what the theme of the Tru brand is. Breakfast was simple yet yummy and filling. Its literally right off the highway so the nose made it hard to fall asleep, they could have done better with insulation on the rooms facing the highway but its Close to the Riverwalk and Alamo. Price was comparable to other hotels so I may sick to what I know next time visiting San Antonio!

Honestly I’ll never go back the service was TERRIBLE managers were very unprofessional the “game room “ was not very nice some of the games were already broken the rooms were not even completely clean when I came into my room there was still toilet paper in the trash everyone seemed as if they were not communicating properly management was moving slow I saw one of the manager on their phones while I’m waiting to get checked in I have kids that were tired and ready to sleep but I mean obviously their text was more important also not to mention I can’t park my own car I’m being forced to pay $25 for valet I feel it should be an option I won’t return to this establishment.

Great location, brand new building, free breakfast and friendly staff. Great value in San Antonio, TX!

It will be open to the public in June!
