Wonderful vintage loft like B&B with excellent breakfast and friendly staff adjacent to RiverWalk.

This place is a hidden gem in San Antonio and far from a bed and breakfast as described here. If you want a place to stay where staff are super friendly, oldie worldie surroundings, complimentary water, nibbles, wine, fruit just across the road from the riverwalk hen this is the place to stay.

This is a quaint boutique style hotel very convenient to Riveralk, Transit Bus System, and Tourist Attractions. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and great price.

Visited with my elderly mother and elderly second cousin. Great accommodations and location. Across from mall and riverwalk. Right on VIVA bus route. Very secure with code to get into premises. Large rooms with picturesque windows and very large shower. Little nooks for quaint meetings and large meeting room with fresh coffee and snacks all the time and wine in the afternoon. Would highly recommend. Very much like a boutique hotel with the comfortability of a hostel.

Great small hotel with personal staff. Rooms are nice sized, well decorated and have beautiful high ceilings.

My husband and I, along with another couple, stayed at the Riverwalk Vista for New Years. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. It’s right on the Riverwalk, and we were also able to walk to the Tower of Americas. Located less than a mile from The Pearl. The Inn has the quaint feel of a bed and breakfast, with personable, yet non-intrusive staff. We occasionally interacted with one of the owners, who offered her cell-phone number if any needs arose. The building, common area, and rooms are absolutely lovely. The hardwood floors, wooden doors, ceilings, and decor are unique touches you won’t find in many other hotels. The common area is filled with treats throughout the day, starting with breakfast, then fresh baked cookies and lemonade in the afternoon, and wine in the evening. Having constant access to complimentary hot tea and water was a nice perk as well. We wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else. The quality you’re receiving for the price is beyond compare.

My husband & I were able to get away for a night & I found Riverwalk Vista Inn while searching for hotels thru the "Hotel Tonight" app. I saw that they had a very reasonable rate & I called the hotel to ask about parking, any extra fees, etc… I spoke with a wonderful staff member named Shonnie, who answered all of my questions patiently, thoroughly, & politely. She even gave me a call back once my booking was confirmed thru the app to make sure I had all the info I needed. We were very pleased with the location of the inn, its warm charm, & the cleanliness of our suite. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the manager, Deeandra, who got us checked in promptly & gave us a mini tour of the inn before showing us to our room. There was a nice 'BnB' air about the inn, very inviting & cozy. Our suite was positioned with a view of the riverwalk & streets below, which we found to be enjoyable; although, if you're a lite-sleeper you may want to request a room that isn't near all the hustle & bustle bc there was a lot of street noise throughout the night. Fortunately, the noise didn't affect our evening & we had a pleasant stay. We would most definitely recommend this place & plan on returning in the future!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great location. A very quaint little hotel with a feeling of a bygone era. Located on the intersection of two busy and noisy streets, but keep the air conditioner on for white noise.

Nice room but the noise level from outside was overwhelming. The hotel is at a major intersection with city buses coming and going from 5am until midnight. Never again.

Loves this hotel. My boyfriend and I stayed here 2 weeks ago for his 21st birthday. The staff was so nice, the room was amazing, although the bathroom was a little small it was still beautiful. The bathroom had a walk in shower, in the shower it had 3 dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. What we really loved was, how in every room they have a journal for the guests to write how their stay was for others to read. Also they had breakfast at 11, then at 3 they set out snickerdoodle cookies and lemonade, and at around 6 or 7 they set out red and white wine. We definitely will be back hopefully soon.

Very magical place. The room was amazing! I felt like I was in another world. The riverwalk is just steps away. The staff was very friendly snd helpful. The 5 o'clock wine was yummy. I'd recommend this place to everyone.

I give it a 5 star because when we showed up they explained to us how to get to a parking gauge then when we made it in side the Hostess greeted us on our floor showed us to our room. The she ask if she could make reservations for us and did so. She also help us find really good restaurant to eat at close by. Also every thing is in walking distance.

Our stay at the Riverwalk Vista was everything we dreamed of and more! From the cozy rooms with beautiful hard wood floors, exposed brick, floor to ceiling windows and a spectacular stone shower, to the charming common areas and the fabulously accommodating staff! When we arrived, Raymond welcomed us and spent time suggesting various restaurants and places we should visit throughout the city. All of his suggestions were spot on! Almost every day he chatted with us and gave us a couple more suggestions. We highly recommend the Riverwalk Vista! Breakfast was delicious, and there was something new to look forward to each morning. Located just a few steps from the Riverwalk and a short walk from other attractions, this is the ideal place to stay! Certainly a step above the rest. Our week long vacation in San Antonio was absolutely perfect, and it we owe that to Raymond and the Riverwalk Vista!

Perfect romantic getaway spot. Ideal location, check in was friendly and welcoming, and I felt like a real guest. Room was perfectly clean and very comfortable. The was the best find we have had in a long time, and if we stay in San Antonio again, we will definitely be back here! I highly recommend!

My husband surprised me with this place on our honeymoon and both the staff and the place blew us both away. Neither of us had been to San Antonio before and they made navigating it a cinch. Also, words cannot convey how grateful we are of how they arranged everything before and during our stay. They truly took care of everything. It's one of San Antonio's great hideaways in the heart of it all.

Hi my name is Joey and my wife's name is Jeanie. We had our vacation scheduled for us to leave the day the hurricane hit Florida in October 2016 where we live. Also my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer the week before. So I called the River walk Vista Inn and talked to our host Raymond. This young man was very very professional and very courteous to us and went above and beyond to help us to reschedule for the next flight out. He made sure our vacation was a great success. We met great people and we enjoyed the river walk. Raymond went out of his way to make sure we had great direction and information to where we wanted to go. I'm here right now. The people and place are fantastic. So cool. While you're on the third floor having breakfast, be sure to read the history in the pictures on the wall!

I don't know what impressed me more, the hospitality of the staff or the charm of the rooms and common areas. The location was perfect for any shopping, dining or culture and history. Don't pass by the Riverwalk Vista when deciding on your San Antonio destination.

This is a great hotel right on the river walk in San Antonio. The location of great, and the amenities are cozy and romantic. The staff is very knowledgeable about the area and recommended several great local spots to experience. The river walk vista Its a great place to stay for a romantic get away.

If you're looking for a special hotel just steps away from the River Walk, Alamo and many other attractions then this is it. When you step inside you are taken back by the level of detail they put into making this a charming and unique hotel. You will feel like you are staying in an old B&B with the antique furniture, creaky wood floors and cozy layout. The staff was very friendly, specifically when I called 2 days before to change my reservation. Despite the uniqueness and charm I did have some issues with a few things. Baggage dropoff was very difficult as there is only a small loading zone that was occupied by food served trucks. Part of our suite had a very odd/musty smell. "Cookies at 3" only lasted about 3 minutes before they ran out, kind of disappointing after a hectic check-in with kids. My biggest issue was the outside foot traffic and road noise ALL NIGHT, it was impossible to sleep! I had the AC going, a fan close, noise machine and pillow on my head and still only got a few hours of sleep. They really need to think about replacing the windows to resolve this issue.

The 16 room hotel is on the historical register. It combines original features with lovely upgrades (like their showers) to create an ambience respectful of its history while providing a high level of comfort. The rooms are surprisingly quiet, given its proximity to the river walk. I love it and plan to bring my family back for a visit.

Loved this place! My husband and I spent our wedding anniversary here. Our room was lovely and the staff was so accommodating and nice. The breakfast was delicious and we loved the afternoon cookies and lemonade. We are planning on spending next year at this charming little inn. It was great to be able to walk every where we went and enjoy the river walk. The only downside is they don't have a parking garage so be prepared to pay a parking garage for the amount of time you spend there.

The best decision we made in preparation for our trip to San Antonio was making a reservation here. One word: Patti! She delivered customer service at its best. Our three-night stay was phenomenal! Huge room, fabulous location, gorgeous view. And Patti… can… COOK! Fresh! Every morning! We even left with one of her recipes. And they are just a short walk from the convention center and Rivercenter mall. Happy girl right here. :-)

What a gem! From the moment you walk in to this historic inn, you are drawn to it's charm. The staff is phenomenal! Fresh breakfast every morning, with all the extra touches you wont get at the chain hotels. Cookies and fresh lemonade in the afternoon, and wine at 5. Its location is perfect! Just right across from the River Walk. The rooms were huge! Very clean, and plenty of historic Texas charm to boot! We celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary with y'all, and we are so happy we did! Thank you!

Fantastic experience for our first visit to San Antonio. Centrally located and very warm, personal attention. Like spending time with friends. The accommodations are really nice — we spent Christmas there with our two adult sons and can not recommend more highly if you want something laid back and homey. Sooo much better than the big hotel scene — unless the pomp and circumstance of that is what you like. For us it was great and will certainly go back if/when we visit SA again. Dal & Susie.
