First off, the room was nothing as advertised, room pictures are nothing like actual room. Room had roaches, the floor was so sticky my flip flops would stick to it and not to mention the old food that was left behind in fridge by previous guest. The worse part about my stay was that I had money taken out of my wallet during my stay the following day after checking in. I made the mistake of leaving my purse out not realizing I had cash in there. Upon return to my room I immediately checked my wallet and noticed the cash was missing. I reported it to the night staff and they stated they would turn in the report to the General Manger the next day. Next day, I called GM Ash Patel, which was very hostile, never apologized at all for the situation itself. I mentioned to him the fridge situation and never apologized for providing a dirty room, other than telling me "what would you like me to do" Instead of a "I'm so sorry for that I will send someone up immediately. " He basically told me that his housekeeper said she removed nothing from my room and didn't even touch my bed because I had a "personal item" on it. Of course she is going to say no, no thief will ever admit it especially when their job is on the line. I sent him an email to follow up and he sent me back an attachment, which stated on there that they are not responsible for any theft.

At first I was given a room near the pool that was very noisy and I could not get Internet. I complained to the front desk person and she showed me two other rooms that were available and let me see which one I could pick up the Internet in. The room that worked was actually an up grade that had two queen beds and a full kitchen. The staff member was very friendly and responded graciously to my needs.

The Studio 6 is in a great location for my purposes. However, the room was not clean: kitchen cabinets had greasy finger prints on them, dirt in cabinet under kitchen sink, shower/tub had soap scum in it and tile grout on walls had mildew. As I was sharing the room with two male relatives, I found there was NO privacy to change my clothes except in the bathroom, which was the size of a public restroom. A shelf and/or hooks in the bathroom and sink area would be helpful, and a curtain in the bathroom doorway would aid in privacy.

The suite with full kitchen was just like a home away from home. And extremely affordable. Any negative were minor and fixable. Definitely would recommend to anyone. Employees were all fabulous!

The only problem with the room was the humidity and mold in the bathroom walls and under the sink area. At first the room was not clean but after I went to the front desk and complained, they cleaned it every day. We come from a place where we are not use to the smell. If you fix the mold in your rooms, your hotel would be great (9-10)

Overall, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom had mildew in it as well as the front base board of the door and walks, and upon arrival, I had to ask for clean bed linens. The attendant was nice, he even rewashed the bedspreads. The kitchen had dried ketchup splatter on its cabinets and the trash can was filthy. There was build up of every kind in every crack and crevice on the floors and ceilings. There was even blood stains on the mattress and pillows. There was constant noise all night. It was like a stampede. I would like a refund!

Good place to stay and rest.

The stay was absolutely horrible. The general manager is absolutely horrible as well. While trying to talk to him he belittled me and cut me off every time I tried to say something. Possibly because I am woman? The rest of the staff is great except the night attendant. The night attendant will make you feel like you do not want to bother him to report the multiple junkies that roam the property at night. The rooms are half cleaned. You will find serious mold in the bathrooms and weird substances on the walls. I had to do my own cleaning because it was that bad. You will be visited by cockroaches. The kitchen sink backs up even without running any water in it. The general manager allows drug addicts to freely roam the property all hours of the night, but will argue with you when you mention it. It was one of the worst experiences I have ever experienced. The side and back parking lots are poorly lit at night allowing for unsafe conditions so if you do decide to stay then demand a room in the front and reasonable safe parking in the front. So many more options to pick from that you do not need to stay here.

There was an issue with the bathroom and it was taken cared of very quickly. The housekeeping were so polite. Every staff member were so courtesy and made sure I had a great stay. Thank you.

This place is one or not the best I've stayed at. We have been here for some time already, and the whole entire staff is exceptional! Rooms are very comfortable and big. Love the full size kitchen makes it feel like your own little apartment. Property is always clean! Housekeeping is great! The gm Ash Patel is doing a wonderful job on the up keeping of the hotel. Front desk manager Patrick is so welcoming he makes you feel like family as soon as you walk through those doors. Mario the housemen is also a wonderful asset for this team, he will go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. I highly recommend this place. LOVE you that guys are PET friendly. Also very good cost wise. Looking for a place to get away or even on vacation put them into consideration. I give you guys 5 stars!

Everything was great check-in and check-out no Problem. Rooms were very Clean. Especially the Price for the stay was very affordable. We do plan to stay again in the future.

Pictures must be enhanced because it's not the same in person… It's just older… changing the floor & adding a colored accent wall isn't remodeled. Maybe it was 10 years ago… Needs new bathtubs… Paint doesn't fix rust… I think it's clean from the maids it's just needs new everything… sheets & the top covers do need a good washing both sides were stained… It did have a full kitchen which was nice but the fridge was loud & leaked… You can tell they try to maintain it but everything is just old & needs updated… The pool could use a good cleaning the water stinks & the dirty residue on the side of the pool is gross… but I guess we got what we paid for. Although there are cheaper ones in the same area. Sorry Studio 6 but it's time to really upgrade.

Please spend just little more money to keep the bathrooms and wood floors clean. Also better lighting put some lamps there. You got everything in the room except the above thus making it low rating.

The rooms were adequate, really need some deep cleaning. We had to change rooms after the first night due to the heat/ac unit only blowing cold air. Was very surprised that the front desk closed at 8pm. The day manager was very accommodating to make sure everything was addressed quickly. Just a suggestion; you may want to investigate a product called Sargent Steam to invest in to deep clean your tile and laminate floors.

This is my 2nd visit to San Antonio to watch another one of my kids graduate from Air Force BMT. I have stayed here both times and I am actually here right now as I type this rating. I have had nothing but a positive experience both times so far during my stay. The room was just fine and I have no complaints. Just 1 another comment… Stay away from the Days Inn next door. That place is a dump. I cancelled my reservation once I went inside the room, got a refund and came here to Studio 6 with was 10 times better and I love the kitchenette here.

I am at this motel as I write. I have traveled all over the world and have never felt more unsafe and grossed out by my experience in this place. It is very dirty the towels are all stained. The water that comes out of the shower is a rust color and never gets hot. The deadbolt on the door doesn't lock secure and the sign on the door says to make sure that the door is locked. There is no front desk after 7pm. The toliet doesn't flush unless you take the tank cover off and pull the chain. It looks renovated but it's not the ironing board doesn't even stand. I have already been srsearchi for a new place to stay. I warn every one stay away from this place!

This place is awesome! me and my husband is staying here until our house is built, Ashston the manager, and Patrick the assistant manager is great people. They treat us so nice! The room is beautiful, with a full kitchen, very clean and beautiful landscaping, feels like home. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that's visiting San Antonio.

Room was somehow dirty, specially on kitchen, some insects found around.

The Kitchen was barely stocked. As we needed to cook for our Airman this was inconvenient. The floors were filthy. They do not clean or restock your towels or TP. You have to go to the desk and trade dirty for clean. Dogs are barking in other peoples rooms day and night! We stayed 8 Days. Other than being cheap and close to the base. DO NOT STAY HERE! Rent a house!

The room had a nice amount of space, and the kitchenette was a nice addition. I had issues with connecting to the Wi-Fi, and the bathroom really needs a proper renovation. Also, the towels are pretty old and it would be best to order a new set. Other than that, I enjoyed my time there.

The people who run this hotel must have a deep hatred for their fellow man. This hotel room was never cleaned. Not for me, who knows when the last time it was cleaned. The towels and wash cloths had brown stains on them, as did the sheets and hair was everywhere. The smell of the room was something I'll never forget. Mold was everywhere. The kitchen leaked and filled with water at times. Bug started to show up due to the lack of maid service. And, because the staff went home every evening and I worked 12-14 hour days, I was never able to truly complain and try to get my money back. I will never stay at another Motel 6 again in my life. I understand the room is cheaper than most. However there is a basic human decency that is lost at this hotel. There is no pride, just collect the money and never clean or repair anything. And they'll probably reply to this review with the same generic bullcrap message they reply to all these negative reviews. Trust me, this is typical. Read these reviews and do not make the mistake that we did. Nothing will change at this hotel.

Staff was excellent, room was always clean and fresh towels everyday. For the price it was just right. The room could stand a little updating and the light fixtures should be cleaned (a few dead bugs inside of the lens in the bathroom).

We stayed here during AFB Graduation. The room looked as expected. It was somewhat clean, but could use a good scrub down. Our air conditioner kept going out, but the maintenance staff was very helpful and fixed it right away. The power went out in our room, but again the maintenance staff was helpful. The front desk was not well staffed. Anytime I went in there… I had to track somebody down. But overall… for the price… I would stay again.

Very nice room. Large, clean with a large refrigerator, two burners, microwave, pots, dishes, utensils, toaster, coffee maker with coffee, ironing board with iron, ice on premises, swimming pool, modern furniture, two tables and a queen bed. They offered fresh towels after a few days, extremely nice staff, ice cream vending machine at the lobby. The best extended stay in San Antonio. And you can have your dog with you, any size dog for $10 a day. Wood floors so no worries about clean up.

We stayed here due to the hurricane evacuation and the service was excellent. The people were nice from the staff to residents of the hotel. Security was great and the beds were comfy. If we needed anything they were quick to oblige. Plus they are a pet friendly hotel. I would definitely stay here again. If you are looking for a reasonable priced hotel, and need a place to rest your weary head… this is the place to go. Thanks for everything. From a Corpus Christi, TX Family.

I would not stay here again nor recommend it. The bathroom had brown mold along the edges of the floors/walls. It also had a strong musty smell. It was gross. I usually never use public restrooms but I tried to use them during the day to avoid using this one. No shampoo or conditioner. There was a built in tissue box dispenser under the sink but no tissue box. Our room had two full beds and a kitchen. The kitchen cabinet doors were very weak/loose. Peeling wood. No sponge or dish soap. Some silverware had rust. The "blankets" on the beds were as thin as sheets. They had cigarette burn holes, too. I've stayed in low cost hotels and motels but none like this. The only saving grace was that all staff was polite. This was a last minute reservation that I regret.

The hotel was conveniently close to the base. Staff were very helpful & professional. They even help me, giving me directions over the phone finding the location when Google map wasn't sending in circles. Night attendant ran to get me Toilet paper when needed. The decor was modern. I like the kitchenette. I just wish it I had a cleaner bathroom. It needed a deep cleaning. It had some mildew in the walls that made it smelled. The shower head was encrusted with calcium. Also notice the floors were dirty. My feet were dirty walking on them. I also wished they offered more then just soap & coffee.

The hotel room was clean & had friendly service. Very close to the base making our daily trips getting there quick. The night manager there after 8pm was the best ever! He was quick to help us for our late night check in all the way to fixing our shower head almost immediately after calling! He was a great help making our stay enjoyable! Thank you!

F you are looking for an extended stay in the Lackland AFB area this is your place. Full kitchens with granite counter tops… most rooms have ceramic tile floors and those that don't they are working to replace. Management is a pleasure to deal with as is any maintenance problems. But the best part of this stay is Ernest the security guard… He only works 5 days a week but during those 5 days you do not have to worry about anything you own… whether it be inside or out. We have left our grill outside many nights without a worry if it would be there in the morning. He is the best security guard I have every met. He is also willing to help with any maintenance problems you might incur. This is not a 5 star hotel but considering the niche they serve it is a 5 star location.

The room itself was fine, though the bathroom, particularly the tub, could have been cleaner. The tub and sink did not drain well. The room really needed a dehumidifier, it felt clammy and uncomfortable. On the fourth and last night of my stay, I woke up at midnight to the night security watch with two men banging on my door asking to come in the room to retrieve a firearm they had left there under the refrigerator. I had to call the police and had serious concerns about my safety. Please train your employees better. There is no reason the night security should have allowed this to happen. One plus: The front desk manager, Patrick, was really great, and helped us quickly process a refund for that night, as well as calling a cab to get us into town.
