Allows big dogs! I was so grateful. I called 20 hotels trying to find one that would allow my big dog and this one did. No extra pet fee either. Yes it is old but for the price it was a good deal.

So rude. The cleaning services threw away my husband's dentist ordered custom mouth guard and then admitted to seeing it on the night stand but "i wouldn't have thrown it away, it's common sense. " (I asked if it's possible it got tossed by mistake) Even though it was gone when we got back. Even the manager checked our room and couldn't find it. Pretty sure she went through my things too but I couldn't prove it. The manager did nothing until we called corporate and then we were reimbursed our stay. Love La Quinta but will never come back to this one.

If your only concern is a clean comfortable bed and an okay hotel that is inexpensive, this is the place. It's an old hotel that hasn't been updated so lots of things I expect like peeling wallpaper, worn carpeting and doors. Didn't feel unsafe while staying here with my family.

We stayed here when we attended my sons airforce graduation and I say this is the worse La quinta we had stayed. The flour is dirty, the aircon had thick dust, the TV and table is dusty, the plug not workin, (by the bathroom and by the side wall) had a mosquito, (me and my 10 years old son got mosquito bites. ) The front disk lady named Alicia was rude, doesnt help at all, (I even showed them my mosquto bites) I ask for mosquito spray she said they dont have, I ask to be transferd in other room at lest, her answer is that, it will be the same. No help from her at all. I ask for manager said not available, wont be there till next week. A guy (forgot his name) help me out and give me a spray. Note to the Owner: that Lady in front Disk name Alicia is rude and not helping your business.

I was feeling very sick during my stay and the smell of our unit was very strong. It smelled like mens body spray. Also the bathroom was dirty and the tub was very dirty in a way that could only come from not cleaning it every time a guest stays or even every other time. The breakfast was a small spread and didnt even have eggs. We decided to eat at a local place instead. We only spent 90$ but thought we got a 40$ experience. Not for us.

This was th friendliest La Quinta I've ever been too. All the staff appeared to get along with each other and their happiness to help seemed genuine. Larry had the breakfast ready and beautiful every morning. The staff were wonderful. The rooms are nothing special but were very clean and comfortable. They stayed dark making it easy to sleep in. There is a train nearby if you must have absolute quiet after 8 pm.

We had roaches in our hotel room Beds are hard and rooms are old I expected nicer rooms front his hotel chain I was kind of suprised. Breakfast was the best part Didnt get to swim cuz the pool opens so late in the morning.

Good service, clean facilities and in good condition.

We are from Argentina, we spent a few beautiful days. The breakfast was very good.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Room smell is horrible and I asked to change room bur was told there was none available. Asked for a refund for the second night and qashqai also denied. I asked for air freshener, I was given a smoke odor remover. Away from the smell, bathroom is a joke with hair in the toilet and stains in the tub. Breakfast is extremely crowded and you cant find a place to sit. In conclusion I will never stay at LA Quinta hotels again. Nor do I recommend anyone to. Yes one more thing, there is a train that pass every 10 minutes with its horn sound to wake you up.

The area of the hotel is quite worn down giving it a unappealing look. The parking area was tight and no room/spaces were available for long vehicles such as u-hauls, therefore the three that were present took up a large amount of the parking in a already cramped area. There is a nice green and grassy area where you could take your pets, however unlike at other La Quintas there were no bags or trash cans to dispose of the dog's waste. There is also a train nearby which can be heard quite noticeably from any part of that hotel. Be mindful of this if you are a light sleeper. As for the rooms… the beds looked clean and tidy, the carpet seemed clean as well yet old and dirty somehow. The bathroom and shower… got the job done. However it was pretty old looking and even the faucets and handles for the water made it annoying for setting a good temperature. The showerhead was pretty low along with the shower ceiling. I can't imagine a tall person taking a shower there without having to crouch.

The staff was friendly but the facility was extremely dirty. The floors in our room looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. There was dust and trash in the corners. There was long hairs on the bathroom floor when we walked in. There were hairs in the shower. Where the wall meets the tub there was black and it was incredibly dirty. If a door was opened and therefore leaving a small space between the door and the wall the that area was not swept in our room. One of the comforters had a stain on it. There were rock like pieces in the sheets of one of the beds. The blow dryer didn’t work. I called the front desk they didn’t have any on hand. I went to Walmart and paid $37 for a blow dryer that worked great in the bathroom plug. When we returned at the end of this day my husband noticed that the bathroom plug had been replaced. He attempted to plug in the hotel blow dryer the coffee maker and my new blow dryer that we knew worked. None of them worked. The plug originally wasn’t the problem the blow dryer was yet they replaced the plug and did not even check to make sure it worked. Also the debris from the wall during the change out was left all over the floor and bathroom counter. I have stayed at at least 7-8 La Quinta’s through the years and have always been pleased with the facility and service. This one by far is the worst I have ever seen. We would have changed hotels but it was spring break and I could not find another one with vacancy for the dates we needed.

Need to paint and definitely change the carpet! Otherwise it’s cool but this smell smh! I know it’s the carpet because the bathroom don’t stink! Smell like it got flooded and they kept the same carpet.

Not the best La Quinta I have stayed at but staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. I would like to thank La Quinta for taking care of me and my family so well, I was in San Antonio because we had a family emergency, we live 3 hours away. A lot of family show up so we needed a room. I usauly book online with the app. Unfortunately it was after midnight and I couldn't book the usual way. I called and the lady was very nice and understanding, booked the room and we were on our way. Thank you!

The employees are friendly, helpful, courteous. They go beyond the call of duty. Especially Stacey. It doesn't look like much on the outside but, the inside is spectacular. Meaning the people make the difference. The breakfast bar is spectacular! Fresh fruit, muffins, bagels, fresh orange juice, yogurts, waffles and eggs… GREAT COFFEE!

Rates were good. The hotel was older but kept up pretty good. Enjoyed the outdoor pool.

My family stayed at this location when we PCSed here and were waiting for a house. There was a black guy that was working at the front desk and he was really nice and helpful. If I could I would give him 5 stars. We stayed at this hotel for almost 2 weeks. We were in two different rooms because we were upgraded to different room during our stay. Both rooms had some minor cleanliness issues. Our second room had a crack in the bathtub and we could feel the crack if we stood in a certain spot while we shower. The shower head had a lot of lime and calcium buildup. The housekeeping makes you leave the room while they do their daily service. This wouldn't be a problem if I was told this when I was checking in. I was told by the housekeeper that I had to leave my room while she change my sheets. By this time I had already stayed for a week and I was never told to leave my room while they change the towels or bedding. This is a also a problem because I had my toddler in the room with me and I didn't feel comfortable bringing my toddler out when it was 50 degrees outside and raining on and off all day and all of the rooms are outside. I ended up rushing to get my daughter dressed just so the housekeeper could make the bed. I talked to the manager about this and he came off as very condescending. If you don't come with children or you're staying for a couple of nights then I would recommend staying here.

You cant beat the price but the room smelled horrible & its right by a train track. The restaurant next door has great food.

Would have appreciated a smoking accommodated room. But other than that, great channel collection and very comfortable bed. The appliances worked great, but the restroom shower didn't drain very well.

It's noisy. It's literally in front of the most heavily trafficked roads in San Antonio and a railroad track that is constantly crossed by trains. Constantly. On top of this there is also frequently all kinds of riff-raff around the property after the sun goes down. It's pretty much ghetto theater around here after dark. The property itself is old but maintained well enough. The staff are polite and accommodating save for one front desk clerk who doesn't seem to like his job or people very much. They have security walking around at night but they do little else but keep the homeless off the property. I would not leave anything valuable sitting in a vehicle here. All things considered I would never recommend someone stay here if they have a choice to go elsewhere to get a night's rest. Too noisy.

Room was nice and clean. Good for the price. Front desk staff was friendly, especially Stacy. She made us feel welcome, great customer service.

I'm in utter dismay. The front desk clerk he was very professional very sweet gentleman but as I entered my room and started to unpack my bags and plug in my electronic equipment IE cell phone laptop tablet. There are not any open Outlets to use. They advertised free Wi-Fi but there are no Outlets to use. This hotel is completely outdated and needs to be upgraded. If you look at the pictures I attached I just plugged in my cell phone to my laptop so it can get some type of charge since there are not enough Outlets. Here I see something moving there's dust hanging from the ceiling the wallpaper is peeling behind the nightstand you can see where they do not clean and dust it's ridiculous it's just ridiculous. If I knew of another place to go I would check out and move to another place. And I'm looking at more dust in the corner over here as I'm leaving this comment this is just uncalled for.

The hotel room smelled like mildew and cigarettes and we got a non smoking room. There were cockroaches and the carpet felt so greasy and sticky it was disgusting. I definitely would not ever recommend this place. Not much for their breakfast either.

The reviews detailing the humid rooms are accurate. The comforter is wet. The sheets are wet. The towels are wet. The carpet is wet. The dank odor hits you as soon as you open the door. My job booked this room for me, but if you're in town on leisure, choose another option… no price discount is worth the condition of this property. Plus, it's a roadside motel type, not an inn… your head is 3ft from the parking lot.

Great inn. It was pretty normal, nothing outside the usuals you get in a hotel. Overall enjoyed my night and the rooms were good. Close to sea world and river walk.

The room was fine, standard for this level hotel. The only problem I experienced was during check in where the hotel manager seemed to be lacking basic knowledge of how to check in a guest.

The stay was ok. The room was nice. The staff was nice. The only thing is that there is no microwave or refrigerator in the standard rooms. We had called before booking here to check what rooms had them and the staff member that answered that call said that they come standard in all rooms and they don't. We were just misinformed about the rooms before booking but overall it was nice.

Nothing but crackheads @ night! Don't leave anything in ur car… or leave ur car here! Best of luck!

I just stated last night we had a trailer loaded of new stuff, everything was stolen, they couldn't do anything, they only have cameras on receiving area. Image this people took a lot of boxes, tires and know one saw anything. No security at all, I don't recommend it. Really bad experience, we lost a lot of money. Also coffe maker and blow dryer were full of ashes.

Great price, clean but next to railroad that does run most of the night. If you don't mind that then it's all good. I was not aware of this when I booked and stayed. But overall for the price I can't complain.

It is right by a RAIL ROAD, and yes it does run LOUD at night so good luck with sleeping. The staff Mr. LARRY is really NICE though. Thanks to him we have a friendly and clean stay here.

There is a very loud train that goes by throughout the night. The hotel is fine but that train and its super loud horn are enough to make me avoid this area from now on.

There's good things and bad things about this hotel. Good things: Great service at front desk. Each person we talked to was friendly and seemed knowledgeable about the area as well as things to do. The mexican restaurant next door was so delicious and the price was incredibly low. The A/C worked well and turned the room cold if you wanted it cold. Bad things: Every time we entered the hotel, it had a musty, wet smell. The shower was like showering under a needle, because it was concentrated in one place. Don't put your genitals near there. There was also no fridge to keep drinks cold or microwave to heat food up. Overall, we (my girlfriend and I) had a decent experience with this place as we primarily used it to sleep and gather ourselves from the last event.

Great working man's hotel. Clean. Helpful. Affordable… Loved the restaurant next door. Delicious authentic food at an unbelievable price.

Estivimos well for three nights is a hotel regular rooms are clean and the aseaban on a daily basis. The only drawback is the breakfast
but it is the classic breakfast in these hotels waffles, coffee, etc, in general the hotel is acceptable at your level.

Entering the room and turning the light on, CUCARACHOS… In the Bathroom, cucarachos… in the morning, you turn on the light and more cucarachos… wuacala.
