The complimentary breakfast is great. I just checked out and was here Friday through Sunday. Disappointed that on Saturday only beds were done and towels left but no refills on toiletries or disposable cups even though everything had been used up. This was a family of 5 in a room and for the price I paid at least another set of refills would have been good. During my entire stay and for a family of 5 I got 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 lotion, and 2 soaps — travel size. I also asked for 3 keys — 1 for me, 1 for mom, and 1 for the 3 kids to share. By the end, none of the keys worked were lucky if one worked at a time during our stay and I went back to reactivate my key twice and finally gave up.

The hotel staff here was friendly and easy to relate to. The front desk was quick to check me in and knowledgeable of there area. My room was clean and well maintained. The continental breakfast offer many options from begals, eggs, sausage, and more. They are conveniently located and easy to get too. Only negative would be the lack of snacks and drinks available.

Everything was great. Comfortable beds with superior linens. The continental breakfast was on point. I will be staying here next time I'm in S. A.

Clean nice comfy… I was strictly there to bang the wife walls too thin 4 that nosey a×× dude across the hall. Other than I still had 2 have some relatively quiet activities its a cool spot right off 35

I think some of the employees where great and always smiling especially the housekeepers but I believe before they enter they need to knock louder and then enter and announce themselves a few times they startled us when they walked in people could've been naked. The traffic was horrible but not Hamptons fault lots of road construction when I went there so there was lots of vehicles backed up even at 10pm. My biggest concern was when we where without toilet paper for 2 days and that should never happen.

My arrival at this hotel the front desk was kinda rude and the room was clean. Stayed 7 nights here the shower head was not all that great the room service was poor and went 2 days without toilet paper had to go buy some. I wouldn't come back here again.

They treated us well. Room was kept up by staff. Breakfast had a big assortment. Always tasted great!

Hotel is a standard Hampton Inn, which is great. Love the brand. And the location is good near BAMC. But it's also near the train and I heard it four times last night. So that didn't make for the most restful sleep.

Room were great and service was excellent.

Great place, 10 to 15 min from RiverWalk, 5 to 10 min to BAMC, quiet rooms, quiet housekeeping, great indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi, nice gym and free breakfast… Now some of the negatives, beds could be a little softer but not that big of a deal. The biggest issue was breakfast, yes it's free but if it tastes like outdated canned food why bother and I'm only talking about the eggs, meat, potatoes and biscuits… The rest of the breakfast was just fine (fruit, yogurt, juice, cereal, waffles, oatmeal and some pastries).

Location to downtown San Antonio is great. Rooms were clean, no smell, beds were good. Front desk clerk were nice and friendly. Indoor pool was good. Breakfast was the usual continental breakfast, the server looking out for the breakfast area was great, always made sure everything was well stocked and clean. Would stay there again.

The staff was sweet. And there is a cute cat that hangs around. I would have taken him home if I wasn't coming from out of town.

I usually stay at this hotel. This time it wasn't what I expected.

Stayed there for hotel points. They did not have the room as reserved. They ask me if a different room would work. The room they offered was a down grade from the room reserved. After some discussion they finally offered a room better than reserved. I have never before been offered a down grade for the same money. Other than that the stay was fine.

Bed bugs. I am covered in bites as a result of staying at this property and they are denying liability. Recommend that you book elsewhere.

It's a good clean hotel just off the highway. Nothing wrong with it in any way. Good breakfast. … The location is a bit noisy but it is what it is.

Nice hotel. The train is loud and frequent but the rooms have a really interesting layout… mine at least. Oh, and there's a cute cat that chills outside.

A very enjoyable hotel to stay. The staff is eager to satisfy your every need. Price is a great deal for the stay. Breakfast bar features fresh cooked foods and fresh fruits.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. It's convenient to the highway and allows access to spots above San Antonio like the natural bridge caverns and also a quick ride to the river walk and other attractions. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Staff here are great… personable and helpful. We had a snag at breakfast on a busy Saturday, apparently someone was on vacation and this wasn't communicated to the person expected to fill in for them but the front desk staff tried to help the best they could. The 4th floor was quiet during the week but a hallway rave on the weekend. One could smell the chlorine from the pool all the way to the top floor but perhaps that was because of all the slick puddles on the ground and elevator floors? The room appeared fairly clean upon check-in but no maid or towel service during our stay?

Kind of sucked. No working pool. Couldn't log on to internet. Breakfast was bare. Good for sleeping only. Rooms are decent!

Easy to get to, even with all the road construction. Room was nice, no issues. Lots of pillows on the beds. Pool was nice, the whirlpool tub is just that — it didn't have a heater, so it was the same temp as the pool. Breakfast was good, coffee seemed to be available in the lobby all day/night.

Very nice and clean, had a Jacuzzi with plenty of extra towels. Everyone was very polite, recommend a place to go for the type of food we we're looking for. Very accommodating. Enjoyed the stay very much.

Overnight guest at this hotel. When I got to my room the curtains were open and the room temp was above 80. The ac Unit didn't seem to be working. I spoke with the Mgr at the front desk and said that he would move me to another room if I wanted to since the maintenance team was gone for the day. I went out for dinner and the room had cooled down since I closed the curtains. The front desk followed up and asked if I still wanted to change rooms. I told them I would be fine. I would say the customer service at this hotel was good. I would only suggest that house keeping keep the curtains closed seeing how it was near 100 degree temp and the room was facing the setting sun.

Great rooms, nice employees, good food.

Pros — Double queen room was spacious, nicely decorated. Lots of places to eat in the vicinity, In n Out, Jack in the Box, Taco Bell, McDonald's and so on. Cons — Not on the best side of town. Room was hot. Air conditioner unit was not large enough/powerful enough to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. Staff brought up a box fan but room was so hot I spent a good portion of the first night lying on the floor in front of the fan. On one day our dirty towels weren't collected, when I called down and asked for 8 towels (we are a family of 6) the front desk person sent the repair guy up to our room with ONE towel. When repair guy came back with the requested 8 towels he seemed upset and brusquely asked for our dirties like we were trying to steal them or something. Housekeeping had decided to bypass our room that day so we had plenty of used towels to give him. On the last night of our stay we went to use the pool, as we had every night, they had treated the pool that afternoon and there was so much chlorine in the pool that after 5-10 minutes we all had to get out and 2 kids started throwing up. Our oldest wasn't able to stop throwing up even after rinsing off the chlorine. It was awful. Wanted to do laundry, after tracking down some quarters (apparently there's a shortage) we found out the dryer was broken. They initially gave us a list of laundromats (just what you want to spend your vacation doing).

Great Hotel! Great Breakfast and Great Staff. Dipesh was very courteous and helping as I was not familiar with the area. I'll definitely come back!

Friendly staff, clean rooms. Noisy (freight trains all night and interstate parallel front of building). Maybe quieter in the back. No fridge or microwave.

Great place to stay. I also love the wood and overall feeling this Hampton gives, all other Hamptons I've been too aren't the same as this, lastly the breakfast and overall staff is amazing as well!

The front desk staff are friendly, efficient and give you a sense that they are willing and able to ensure your stay is pleasant. They really know their stuff and clearly communicate well, evidenced by the seamless check in process. The rooms are standard Hampton Inn rooms, no frills but comfortable. The only negatives are higher than normal noise from adjoining rooms/hallway and the lack of a fridge and microwave. I travel every week for work and sometimes want to store and heat leftovers or a quick microwave meal instead of dealing with finding a place to eat at after a long day in an unfamiliar place. The location is not the best. There is currently road construction that creates difficulty in getting to the hotel as it's right next to a busy interstate, couple that with the equally clowe train tracks and you can imagine the constant noise. From my understanding, they are working on improving the rooms to better block the sound from outside.
