A big shout out! We just stayed here for 3 nights because our electric was out in this freezing storm. Though they were swamped and probably short staffed, they did an amazing job keeping our room stocked, areas cleaned and plenty of hot food for breakfast. And they did it all with a friendly smile. Did they raise their prices? Yes. But they probably incurred extra costs during this time, also. Thank you to this Brooks City Base La Quinta team!

This place is price gouging during this tough time. Their usual rate is $82 well actually less for a weekday. They wanted $129 when I called. I said I can book now on Travelocity for under 100 and they said they wont honor it. Saidnthry won't take anymore online bookings.
after she put me on hold a few times I asked to reserve it and let me call my sister to get her CC number. I said how much should I tell her it is and she said about $200. No more.

Nicer than the one in Amarillo. Clerk was helpful and gave me a room meeting my needs. Room was clean but issues with the remote control for the tv.

Will never go to this location again. I went today 07/15/2020. I called earlier and reserved a room. I arrived at 7:30 to check in. The guy at the front desk said I could not use my card that it was cash only and refused to give me a room. When I called earlier they said they accepted credit cards. He told me no cash and to get out. The guy behind me said he reserved and he let him pay with his credit card. When I asked why was he allowed he said because I can. He did not give me a reason why I could not use my credit card. He ignored me and would give me his name. I posted a picture of him. He is absolutely rude. He didn’t want to give me his name or let me speak to a manager. I will never return here. Worst customer service ever!

This place is very nice, super clean and appears to be recently remodeled. Free Breakfast is top notch. And not just muffins & fruit. Staff have been super friendly. Definitely stay here if it's an option.

Good evening Cynthia E. I am writing this review as I am checking out. This hotel would have recieved a 4 star if it wasn't for miscommunication on behalf of your front desk staff, Paul. He was very kind to help us but when I called Friday evening to request a price quote, he mentioned "$92+ tax for two nights". Keep in mind that it is very important to use the correct vocabulary terms in this line of business. When called and was told about the price I was very excited to drive to your location and book it. Upon arrival we received a charge of $214! I had my family ready to walk in and feel at ease with our arrival to the Hotel! I decided to check in since Paul had run my fathers MCC (MAYOR CREDIT CARD) and we did not want to feel embarrassed by declining, having my family waiting on us. Please keep this in mind! Let's make sure we have the staff quote customers the correct amount and not charge the a MCC for the amount until customer is completely aware. Thank you!

Very peaceful, excellent accomodations for us and our pet, excellent parking. Very clean room by Stacy, incredible bed. Bathroom too small, but very clean and beatifully decorated. Alot of outlets, even on the alarm clock. Chris went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. AC worked great. Newly remodeled.

The staff was great. They were warm and inviting. The problem is the rooms were too tiny. Honestly I would recommend trying somewhere else. Also for yall information. They do serve breakfast. It's basic hotel menu. Scrambled eggs, and sausage links, cereal, toast, muffins juice and coffee.

Leitzel's awesome really loves you it was a great place to stay the room talk to residents and will chair accessible parking lot wheelchair accessible.

Our stay here was ok. We arrived at the hotel at 1:50am and were told that, due to an audit, they couldn't check us in until 2:30. That's a really long wait at that time of the morning. When we finally got in our room, it smelled musty and seemed really humid despite the air conditioning. Breakfast was good, but the orange juice tasted funny.

We had a great stay the customer service was amazing they were very accommodating! I was 8 1/2 months pregnant and the only room they had available was on the 2nd floor so the very next morning they switched us to a 1st floor room (no questions asked) close to the pool which was the perfect temp and clean! The breakfast was amazing we stayed 5 nights and it was great every day eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, danishes and so much more! Was very satisfied with our stay and would definitely stay again.

All I know is they got a pool, they got a. C. They got a whole plate of bacon and a nice vending machine so it's a yes for me fam! oh and they pet friendly.

The room was comfort. No elevator fit second floor time but the front desk clerk offered an upgrade. Clean and quiet.

The rooms were a little small and in one the blankets were dirty, we moved from room and it was a little better but it had a curious smell. In all it wasn't very bad but it wasn't that good.

The area is nice there is lots of things to do and places to eat. Hotel staff is nice rooms are nice size and clean the only problem we had during our stay was our room had fleas but we informed the staff and they moved us to a better room.

An upcoming construction project required I attend some special certification training that was being offered in San Antonio and met my schedule. I stayed at this La Quinta for the training duration. I found the Inn to be comfortable. There was Wi-Fi available, the room was clean, had a remote controlled flat screen TV with good channel variety, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean. There was a complementary breakfast available each morning which was fresh. I'd stay here again if I was in the area.

We were in town on bad terms. But the hotel staff were awesome the rooms were perfect! And the location was spot on for us! We will definitely be back for a better vacation.

Receive a 5 star from my family and I Room are clean, Housekeeping make a wonderful job everyday to maintain everything clean, the costumer service are great, only thing that make me feel uncomfortable was my breakfast time, that lady ho works there make my family feel uncomfortable why because, she never give a smile and a good morning plus she’s always on top of you and she needs to cover her hair, otherwise everything was great.

It was a nice place to stay at during our weekend in San Antonio. Its located in a great spot, ther is a walmart, Walgreens, best buy, and a couple restaurants and fast food places like the sonic right behind the building we were in near by along with gas stations. The kids had a blast in the pool. They conveniently served breakfast every morning and, over all it was a pretty great stay. Only odd thing from this hotel is that its separated into 2 buildings but it wasnt a problem it was just something new/ unusual.

Good location. The rooms were nice and clean. The service was wonderful.

Quite close to the highway and gas station. Rooms were what La Quinta old fashion can produce. Bathroom was quite small.

Simple no frills hotel. We were only in town for one night, and it served it's purpose. Desk staff was friendly, good parking. Hotel was split into two separate buildings which I thought was a little odd, but the second building required your room key to open the door so it was secure. Room was a little cramped for three people. It's located near a shopping area with plenty of restaurants, a Walgreens, and a WalMart nearby. Wi-Fi was easy to access and was reliable. For a quick visit to San Antonio, it was a good deal for the price.

La Quinta check in was rather easy, the rates seemed ok, good parking, good Wi-Fi, 32" +/_ flat screen, desk, dresser, small wardrobe, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. Very good area nearby for shopping for all kinds of items; some dining areas also. Please give this review a thumbs up if you find it informative!

Girls at the counter we're very nice and helpful I needed to log on their computer they helped me I'm not computer savvy LOL And they also made copies and faxed papers for me my new place to stay in San Antonio thank you staff.

This is a perfect place to stay very FANCY and clean. Rooms are big and a lot of shopping stores close by and restaurants staff very helpful and friendly.

One night stay very nice, lol, with the exception of breakfast… boiled eggs does not count… abit of scrambled eggs would have made it a 5 star stay.

We like staying there, and have been staying there for a long time we stayed there last weekend rooms were clean breakfast was good we haven't stayed there in a while there was a change in breakfast we liked it, there were a lot of field workers staying there were very loud at night, o we had someone knocking at the door at about 6 am in the morning and someone knocking at the window, we called the office and they take care of it, stated it was the wrong room and apologize, after that we couldnt go back to sleep office staff very friendly and nice, as far as the stay was very good I would highly recommend it, the cleanest of the hotel the staff the front office and they were awesome except for the noise of those field workers we will be staying there again.

My friend stayed here, it was clean, beautiful lobby, free coffee and cookies, room was a bit small, nice furniture, bed was a bit hard when you sit on it, nice restroom, polite staff.

This is the worst hotel I've ever been in. I was woken up by 2 huge bed bugs drunk with me and my daughters blood at 3am in the morning. Although my room was changed but I couldn't get the thought of seeing bed bugs out of my head. In still afraid that none of these pest followed me home. The hotel did not worth the price and it looks more like motel 6 to me and looks nothing like an hotel.

The stay was great and very friendly people servicing our needs. The property and pool very clean. The complimentary breakfast very satisfying, many options to choose from. The only complaint is before check out, the housekeeping lady kept knocking after I had informed already we would leave before noon since that is check out hour. Really hate being rush, especially on vacation time.

Pretty much what you would expect from a La Quinta. Comfortable, but not that soft beds. Basic breakfast of cereal, make your own waffles, and some fruit. Cold ac was very nice. Was here for a 2 night stay and my room wasn't serviced even though I didn't put up the do not disturb sign.

The 2 star is for the ONE employee that was working on the evening shift. Other than the room being pretty clean, the refrigerator smelled like a dead animal, there was mildew/mold on the bathroom vent, the ac had awful condensation that made the carpet wet, the room was humid, there is no real breakfast food like bacon or eggs, the people who had pets barked till after midnight. The beds are hard and the pillows were terrible. There was no Wi-Fi either. Overall the stay was the worst ive had in over 10 years of traveling. I hated to even pay the $112 for it… we will never stay here again. We also drove 4 hours for a graduation.

I had no issues with my room at all! Everything was perfect! The staff was really really nice and helpful! I would definitely stay here again. The only problem I did have was the first night here we could not use the Wi-Fi due to so many people on it at once. But other than that we enjoyed it

Clean room and bathroom, no elevators at all so you'll have to exit the hotel to get to the second floor stairwell. Also — air conditioning smelled like a dead animal if you tried to turn the air temp up. So I had to sleep in 65 degrees, which is very very very cold for me. It was a decent price and since I just used the extra pillows as blankets — I gave it a 3 star rating. People at the front desk were nice!

Great place! Clean and nice rooms with all the amenities. Nice pool and hot tub and enjoyed meeting and talking to other people at the pool. Very nice price, especially for a holiday weekend… definitely will be back again. =)

I gave 1 star for the great customer service at the desk, such kind employees, and for the convenience of check in (no reservations) and price. That being said, I won't stay here again. The room was so humid, I could not sleep. Several times I got out of bed to catch my breath because it was so humid in the room it was hard to breath. The sheets felt so damp it was hard to sleep; I finally got up and turned on the bathroom exhaust fan to help remove some of the moisture-although not sure if it actually took air out but it did seem to help after several hours. Unfortunately, the exhaust fan was on the same switch as the light so to have the bathroom door open to exhaust the room air, I had to have a light blaring in my room which shone directly on the bed. I finally fell asleep about 4:00am. This is poor maintenance. The high humidity made it difficult to tell if the room was actually clean, because everything I touched felt gross. Another note, I thought it was pretty standard to have a mini fridge and microwave plus a workout facility in a hotel, but obviously not; so without those little amenities, it was not such a great bargain.

Customer service was great, room was okay not great, there was some cleaning powder on a chair and lamps were askew, not a big deal, but attention to detail is important. Overal a 4/5 for for customer service, price and convenience.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The service is good and it is a few minutes from the city.

Wont be staying here again. They charged me for 2 nights when I stayed for 1. I made a room hold then registered my email for an account. Their system changed my check in date and I was not aware of it. Tried to call the manager and all he said was that he couldn't do anything for me. They lost some loyal customers.

My truck was broken into in full view of their security cameras and the front desk. The clerk actually told me he watched it being broken into and did nothing. The hotel has done nothing to help and claims their cameras don't record. Do not stay here.

My truck was broken into in the parking lot. Items were stolen. Clerks told me they had seen someone "messing with (my truck, ) but didn't do anything, " which is just negligent. I asked if they could review the video footage from the cameras in the parking lot and they told me they don't record. Aside from negligent staff and experiencing theft, the room was clean and quiet, but if they can't be bothered to stop or at least report a theft in progress, then I would not consider it worth the risk to stay again. If you have excellent security, good insurance, and are willing to risk damage to your vehicle, then I suppose it's an okay place to stay the night.

Stayed at this location a couple weeks ago for business travel and decided to book again for my next stay. Rooms have been very comfortable and accommodating. Office staff has been very friendly and welcoming. One of the staff members remembered me from my last stay which was nice. Free breakfast, conveniently located to shops and restaurants. I will continue to book here for my business travel arrangements coming up!

Had a wonderful stay! It was very quiet and clean. Slept like the dead. Bed was a little hard, but didn't bother me a bit. Thank you.
