Very nice hotel very clean.

Truthfully I was there overnight yet it was amazingly comfortable.

It was a great place to stay away from home.

There are some remodeling going on but I never heard any noise or seen any mess. customer service is impressive. Camille and Trey will make sure your stay is top notch. Highly recommend.

Great people working here. I always feel like home.

BEDBUGS! And a staff who tells you there are none after you bring 3 dead bugs to the front desk and have over 30 bites on your head, face, neck, arms, hands, chest and back! Horrific experience and an uncaring staff.

Current stay my sons apple headphones went missing while we were out and the room was cleaned. I gave the benefit of the doubt and assumed because they are white and were on the bed (we made before we left to go to football camp) that they were rolled up when the bed was stripped. I went to the front desk and told then they were missing and what I thought happened. They told me they were very behind with washing and showed me the laundry room. They took my info and then said that they would look for them some time but if I expected them to ship them they would need my credit card. Words cannot Express how this made me feel. This Hotel lost or stole my sons earphones and now they want my credit card number. This is your mistake and now I have to pay for it. I will not be staying at Hyatt Hotels ever again.

My family is staying this weekend to celebrate my son's birthday and my little dude misplaced his expensive gaming controller. The staff was super sweet and helpful and went out of their way to find it! They got it back to us in a trice. On top of that, check in with Olivia was fast and pleasant and breakfast was lovely. This has been a wonderful stay and we'll be sad to go!

The hotel location is great! Close to River walk, Alamo, Six Flags and even close to the San Marcos Outlets because it took just 35 min to get there! *The room was great! Big space and the sofa bed is a plus! Great help when you have 3 kids! * The staff WOW! The first night the 2 bilingual ladies in the front desk were amazingly friendly! Sadly I don't remember her names… but I want to mention another great people from there TREY, RUTH AND JOLYNN! Wow guys you are so sweet and the way you take care of us was incredible! Even though you were so busy you always made some time to help us when we needed! Definitely You made our stay very pleasant! God bless you all and from now on Hyatt Place North will be our 2nd home in San Antonio!

This was my first visit here. And it did not start well, I used a Price booking company to reserve room. And prepaid it a week in advance. Upon arriving they did have my reservation but it was not paid. I was not a happy camper! I gave them all the paper work I had to prove I had prepaid! After about 15 minutes. They did have confirmation that is was paid. But the company had not paid the hotel! So, finally after calling another phone number we found on my email confirmation… it was taken care of.
Fro mathematics on. It was a great time! The room was wonderful. Clean, all we needed and plenty of room for two adults and a 14 yr. Old. The breakfast was very good the next morning. Very friendly staff especially the cleaning staff who helped us. The one thing I did find unusual was that there was NO microwave in room! I had not even noticed until the 14 yr. Old went looking for it. When we went down to breakfast, I stopped and told the front desk personnel and she told me the we had to request one! So, ok. I did and sure enough we got it! Lol…
The location of the hotel was perfect for me, since I had a family member in Methodist Stone Oak Hospital… it was good being so close.
All in all … even with the rough start. I still gave it 5 STARS… because it was a very nice place, well, kept, clean and clearly employees who enjoy their job and care for their guest.

Enjoyed our stay. Easy access from the 281 S. Friendly staff. Breakfast was always good. Dominique was so friendly at the front desk in the afternoons. Indoor Pool was cold, and was probably the low point at the hotel. I would stay here again.

We love the Hyatt, and our stays are usually great for an inexpensive hotel. This time though, the pool was closed which was a bit disappointing, and the complimentary breakfast was not as good as it usually is. Overall, everything was good and the staff is very courteous.

Worst place to stay. Very disappointed. We stayed here for the night so the kids can swim but the pool had poop. Very disgusting, dirty. We will never come back here. Worst experience ever. Do not stay here.

We LOVE this property, and we use it for our client meetings several times per year. (Unfortunately, though, the sales manager just “lost” our planned meeting dates for this August, forcing us to book elsewhere? ) The conference rooms are versatile and spacious, and our clients always enjoy the Hyatt Place guest room amenities, the free shuttle service and the friendly front desk staff.

Pretty descent hotel. There are good breakfast choices, and the breakfast tastes good (unlike some other hotel in the area). Room is pretty typical for a 3-star hotel. Like most other hotels in the area, the lobby and common areas are modern, but the hallways and rooms still need renovation. The exercise room is OK. The elliptical was out of order, and one of the treadmill's touch screen didn't work right. There's some free weight dumbbells and a bench. It would be nice to have a weight stack machine though.

Everything was great. My 9 year old gave it a 4 because we didn't have a tub in our room. Staff is great.

I love the place. It's clean & the people at the front desk was super nice.

The beds were comfy and staff was attentive and friendly. The room was nice and seemed clean, and we had everything we needed. Location was easily accessible and near lots of things. The continetal breakfast offered in the morning was really nice with a large selection, and everything was really tasty. My only complaint is the "heated" indoor pool was really cold, the pool area didn't seem clean, and the water didn't seem clean either. Other than that our stay was very nice.

Great hotel. The rooms are big and very nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We will stay here again. Location is a little tricky but once you get a hang of how to get there then your good.

Do not stay here if you are a light sleeper. The road noise is horribly loud. My heating / cooling unit won't stay on constant fan and even when it is on, it is super loud. I am here for my son's soccer tournament and I will never stay here again. The only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of two is because I got good service at check-in and the rooms are a good size. Too bad I won't be sleeping for the next two nights.

Our room had two queen beds and a pull-out couch. It was nice and large and roomy for all my children. Breakfast was amazing for being free. It had a better variety than some of the other hotels we've been to before.

Good location, and very nice staff. Place was clean, and breakfast was nice and hot each morning. Stayed here during an ice storm where San Antonio completely shut down. Staff was very nice about helping us enjoy a dinner at the hotel while we were there. They were busy, but they did a great job for us. Here are some sunset views from the room.

Very good location. The hotel was very clean. Spacious rooms. The breakfast was very good. Unfortunately, the beds are very soft and uncomfortable for those of us who like a firmer mattress. The Couch was defeated and we couldn't use it as a bed as it was very worn the mattress.

Had a wonderful stay here! Great location and very nice clean rooms. I had made an error in my reservation and Mytzue and John went above and beyond to help me fix my error. Would definitely stay here again!

The Hyatt Place was a very nice Hotel set off by itself but with anything and everything just about a 5 to 10 minute drive up the road. The staff was great and very polite. They have comfortable beds but nice pillows the room was very clean indoor pool great breakfast options in the morning. You get two free bottles of water everyday so in my opinion this place can't be beat for the price and the atmosphere.

Stayed here while planning my destination wedding — Rooms are huge, well above average. Guest services was amazing, so kind and informative. Beds super comfy and hotel very clean! Will definitely stay again when in San Antonio. UPDATE: I had a block of rooms at this hotel for my destination wedding, 59 rooms in all spanning over multiple days! Sandra in sales was amazing the entire year leading up to my big day, sending me updated reservation lists when I asked for them, which was way more often than I should have! She walked me through every detail all year long and I can't tell you how grateful I am! The front desk staff was exceptional as I had welcome bags for each guests and they were all passed out accordingly. Truly an amazing staff! BRIDES: if you are looking for a hotel to block rooms at, you will not regret making the choice of this one!

Stayed here the night before my son was to be born as they were just down the street from the Hospital. I did not think anything could make his birth better but the Hyatt did. Great staff, fantastic and modern, comfortable rooms. And the best part it was well under normal prices for luxury hotels/inns. Great stay!

We have stayed at a Hyatt Place Hotel in the last and have been pleased with the accommodations each time. Another reason we chose this hotel is that they are pet friendly. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was good. We also took advantage of the indoor heated pool.

Nice. Comfy. Good bkfst. Stayed here for a surgery and very conveniently located. If you're into fitness, they have a small basic gym in house, but guests may attend Lifetime Fitness across the street as a courtesy. All you do is sign a waiver. We were able to quickly reach the downtown area and enjoy the Alamo and river walk. Wonderful city.

Everything was great! Excellent service! A nice man helped me named Steve! He was very helpful, professional and courteous! They always greeted us with big smiles! Mary and Adrian were awesome too! I loved the stay! Couldn’t be more grateful and thankful coming from Houston not being from San Antonio, So glad I found them!

At a bare minimum this is a nice, clean Hyatt with all of the usual amenities. They did have a very nice selection of prepackaged food items to purchase 24/7 at the front desk. I was not particularly impressed with the rooms at this location. While they seemed clean, the bed was not very comfortable, the TV did not work (flickered on and off), and the bathroom was very dimly lit. The breakfasts were nicely presented but ultimately didn't taste any better than the usual hotel hot breakfast. In the end, it worked for what I needed, but was not particularly impressive. I'd stay here again, but only if everything comparable nearby was booked.

Friendly staff, great breakfast selections, got a tequila shot and soda at their downstairs bar, it was not very expensive. $15 total. The hotel smelled really good, the pool was nice, the rooms were modern and spacious! The pillows were no bueno though. Pillows were pretty flat.

Upon checking in there were a few people ahead of me, but I didn't wait more than 10 minutes to get to the counter and checked-in. They have a 24 hour grab and go food section that included small salads, sandwiches, drinks and etc. I did not use the service so I'm not sure how exactly it worked, but the selection of stuff looked good. The hotel lobby and hallways had a pleasant fragrance smell. The room was nice and clean. We had a cleaning lady come by twice to try to clean our room, but we were there both times and politely declined. The comforter wasn't exactly the best. It seemed to be a duvet cover layered on top of the duvet without the duvet being in any sort of case. The couch was a little out dated but nice and big. The layout is definitely different than your traditional layout. The closet was very tiny and in an inconvient portion of the wall by the bathroom sink. The full link mirror for the door was convenient and had decent lighting for getting ready. The location of the hotel is nice with a hospital close by and a variety of restaurants close by. Overall we stayed two nights and we would stay again.

The room was nice. But our last day of our stay was disappointing. We went down to breakfast each morning around 8 or 830. Breakfast was good. But the last morning at 830 the breakfast was gone when they serve until 930 and we were rudely told they would not put out more food. There was still an hour left. They were not accommodating at all.

My daughter and I had an awesome experience, our 6 night stay was warm, cozy and inviting. I would definitely return. We felt safe on the property no matter the time day or night. Many of the attractions are 30 mins or less
The staff is great. I have no complaints other than I wished they served grits for breakfast.

Very quiet hotel, although some of the employees weren't very friendly. The reason I gave this Hyatt 2 stars is because I actually work at a Hyatt Place and we NEVER give plastic plates to serve breakfast no matter how booked/swamped we are. Hyatt Place checkout time is at noon, so I was a little frustrated when housekeeping kept knocking on my door at 9:00 AM trying to kick me out a day before departure.

Me and my family are currently here and the hotel experience so far is okay. One thing I am concern is the place for breakfast is too small for everybody. They should've make it bigger and it would be perfect! I hate their entrance too. It was hard to locate although you could see the buidling right infront of you!

Good location North San Antonio near 1604. We only stayed for the one night but the room was clean comfortable and included free breakfast. We often stay at the Hyatt Place as they are always kept up nice and have reasonable prices.

We love Hyatt place. It's very homey, always clean, and quiet. Most people that stay seem to be on business which helps the calmness, and breakfast being included is always a plus!

PROS: Super clean, friendly staff, great indoor pool, spacious rooms, great workout room. CONS: No vending machines (they were removed) and no microwaves in the rooms, seems like they are really pushing their overpriced food and drink services. No laundry room or game room or any other common room besides the front desk. Overall if you are OK with just a room and a pool, this place is great. Not in an overly congested part of the city, yet still (thankfully) a very short drive to restaurants and shopping.

First thing was the folding lock on the inside of the door has obviously be kicked in the screws were striped out of the door and offered no real extra security. I don't believe the managers prepared for the amount of people in the hotel, there was never enough breakfast for everyone or enough plates or bowls, so we had to go to Starbucks every morning. They want to charge you $8.50 for a warm glass of Zinfandel. So we had to make a trip to the wine store. The AC in the room will not hold the temp you are either so hot it's hard to breath or freezing no fan except when AC is on so no way to keep air flow on room. We also didn't receive room service, when we would get back around 5:30pm we would have to ask for room service. No microwave in room which is odd. Service is non existent it's like when we ask about something we just get blank looks and no one is aware of how a hotel is suppose to work. After taxes and fees we are paying $200 a night for 3 nights and it's just so not worth it. I doubt we will ever say at a Hyatt again. (we aren't even very pick clients) it was bad!

Came for business trip. Nice accommodations. Route coming to and from a little tricky but it's convenitently located to shopping and restaurants.

My husband and I arranged to stay here as a "staycation" to escape the chaos of our little monsters/kids. I was in need of some serious relaxation and seen the hotel on Groupon. I purchased two nights because I knew the location and had been to the hotel a year prior. The check in was fast and the room appeared clean. Or so we thought. We go to our room for a nap and notice used, dirty face cloths in the bed. They were from a previous guest. I contacted the front desk and in the first phone call they said they would be right up. 20 minutes later the second phone call was placed to the front desk. They stated they would be there soon. An hour later my husband and I went to the front desk. We spoke with the manager on duty and he got the sheets changed in 5 minutes. Not amused. The day of checkout I receive the bill under the door. It had charges on it and this was completely to my surprise because as I stated in the beginning I paid with a Groupon, in full before arriving. My husband and I did not have any additional charges to the room beyond the Groupon. When we went to check out I asked about the charges, and the receptionist and the manager (a different one from the other day) told me it would be taken care of. But it hasnt been. I have contacted the hotel numerous times now, speaking with a manager by the name of Amber, trying to get this handled and refunded to my card. Today is the 4/29 and we stayed at the hotel on 4/18-4/20.

This is my third time booking Hyatt Place (three different locations). All the room smell like mold. I request to switch my room, and I realized all the rooms smell the same. I spoke with the front desk, and the lady told me this is not the first time people complain about the smell. Apparently the smell came from the cleaning chemical for the carpet. If the service is not great, I can live with that, but having weird smell in the room is unacceptable. Especially I have to smell this for two weeks!

First and last time into a Hyatt hotel in my life. We planed to come here for our Anniversary. We were checked into a handicap room, which I did not ask for. They blamed Travelocity for overbooking them, too bad I had used their own booking system. Once reaching the room we could smell the odor of mold. It turned out the bathroom shower would leak into the carpet in the bedroom. So that explained the mold smell. Also the shower would not stay still. It would just pop right out and the shower head would spray all over the bathroom. Upon calling service they offered to come and spray the room. That did not fix our issue. The worse part was at check out when I explained the issue I was blamed for not knowing how handicap bathrooms worked. I pretty sure a slant in the direction of the door instead of the drain is not a handicap feature. Also sent an e-mail to corporate only to get a boiler plate e-mail back basically saying they were sorry and hope to see us again. I have sworn to never go to a Hyatt hotel ever again.

I have stayed at many hotels and hotels that are much more expensive. However, this hotel is by far the hotel with the best service and staff I have ever seen. I will be coming back whenever I am in San Antonio again.

Stayed at this hotel on a recent trip to Seaworld with my family. Awesome place to stay, friendly staff and awesome breakfast buffet. Highly recommend!
