The place seemed clean. Bathroom was very small. For the price of the hotel we expected more. The towels looked very dingy. We booked our room online and paid prior to arriving. Upon arrival, they asked for a credit card for incidentals. Upon check out we were charged $1.99 which the clerk stated was city of San Antonio fees. We requested a receipt & the charges were not for City fees. We were charged for Safe usage w/limited warranty & a hotel fee. We requested an explanation but the clerk said his boss stated he had to charge that. That I would have to call next day to speak to the owner. I believe he was the owner because when I walked in to speak to him re: charges he was on the phone complaining to IT because his computers were running slow & stated he's been a franchise owner for 10+ years and never had to deal with people like the people on the phone. Will definitely not use or recommend the hotel!

The rooms in this motel are very clean and modern. I liked the updated look and feel. The service is good and everyone was nice. The location is close to the freeway but in a quiet location. The pool is nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Air conditioner rattled and knocked. The room didn't get a little cool until morning. Some staff is prejudice against non Caucasians.

I have stayed here 4 times and each time it had been nice. Friendly staff, simple check in, and nice rooms for the price.

This place was horrible. My "non smoking" room stank, there was an ashtray on the table next to the bed. It clearly had not been cleaned well because I found a pile of ashes against the wall and toilet paper jammed into the peephole. The bathroom slowly filled with dying bugs throughout my stay. One night I had a group of people having loud arguments in the parking lot all night. Don't stay here. If you need to be close to the base, go to the best Western down the street. The only good thing about this place is the front desk staff was very kind.

The hotel is close to the hwy and the rail road so it's super noisy. The desk girl refused to let us cancel the reservation even tho we booked the room 2 hrs earlier. She also refused to call her manager of help me in any way shape or form. They are very desperate to get customers, they will not let you go no matter how hard you argue with them. If you click "book it" you are their prisoner. I don't have a complain about the room. It was ok. But I was very upset I was forced to stay. There are a lot of hotels in the area and they have rooms available all the time so don't book online. Drive to the hotel and see how you like it first then book it. Good luck to you.

I would not stay here again. Definitely a cheap hotel and the price attracted very different people. Room was noisy. You could hear everything in the room beside. Room was decently clean but not quite. Bathroom was big but no counter tops to put anything on.

Book the double bedroom said they were Queens they were only full size blankets were very thin no shampoo hardly any towels just do not recommend it.

I have two complaints. 1) rude manager. She said her name was Esmeralda Briones. The rate I was quoted online was different than what she said it would be upon checking in. I then told her that I wouldn't be taking the room after all but she proceeded to tell me that if I cancelled, I'd be charged a fee. Because we were only staying 1 night, I took it. 2) over charged again. When I checked my bank account, they took the price up again! I disputed it with my bank for the amount that I was previously quoted and showed them my receipt. They took care of it. Never staying here again. I'm sure the manager had something to do with the over charges. The rooms were okay for the price I paid. The orange juice for breakfast didn't taste like orange juice. Never going back because of the poor customer service and don't like that they over charged my account.

Everything was clean, good service, only the room it smelled very much like cigarette, from there on out all that is good, I recommend it.

Thought was going to be a good stay was not. Rude front desk people, they had already cancelled my reservation when I had asked for a late check in via telephone considering we are 4 hours away, continental breakfast was trash, vandalism to other vehicles at night, backed up toilet, no trash can in toilets, didn’t housekeep my room the 2nd day, and then surprise charges when we left. Claiming we took a pillow which we did not! Called and the lady in front office was very rude about it. Never again!

Great customer service and great prices. The rooms are nice.

Comfy beds with plenty of pillows. The room was quiet and cold. Tv was a 32 in lcd with cable that included HBO1 and HBO2. The microwave and mini fridge came in handy. Super close to downtown without the downtown prices. Uber to dowtown was less than 8 bucks (very handy). The lady at the front desk was very nice. We would deffinately stay here again.

For the price, excellent hotel. Rooms are clean, big, and comfortable. Don't expect the works, expect the best possible hotel for the price. Don't regret staying. Nothing negative to say.

Clean, cheap, quiet, good breakfast. The Texas shaped waffles were especially good for breakfast waffles. Close to downtown and without downtown prices.

It'S Simple. It's Just for the night. Excellent to go see the Spurs.

The lights in the room are too dark, the toilet is brighter than the room, and the eyes of the computer or TV are not very comfortable. Breakfast ordinary price cheap room clean lights can be improved.

It's your basic motel. It's clean and serviceable. Room was good for the price but keep in mind how much you're paying verses staying near the Riverwalk. It's about a $8 Uber ride one way to the Riverwalk or Convention Center area so keep that in mind. It's also in kind of a weird area where you probably don't want to walk around and there's not very many places to eat within walking distance.

Room comfortable and clean. You try super bn, the only thing I did not like was the breakfast as there is no variety. But other super.

The Hotel is fine. (Don't expect a 5 * hotel if you don't want to pay what it costs). Friendly staff. The only downside is that there is noise from the road that is right across the street.

Good room! Only thing that gave it 3 stars was that there was a bug that came ran across the bathroom counter. Looked kind of like a baby cockroach…

The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. They were very friendly and accommodating at the front.

A nice, clean, convientent place to stay. Beds were awesome as well as staff! Only down fall breakfast doesnrbhave a big selection but otherwise very satisfy and recommend.

We rented 2 rooms, a double queen and a single king suite while we visited San Antonio to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. We were extremely pleased with the low rates and exceptionally clean rooms. The beds and pillows were so comfy. They offer all kinds of menus for different menus so you can call and order food to be delivered, one place delivers until 1:30am and on weekends until 2:30am. We ordered Dominos Pizza and it was delivered nice and hot, and oh so yummy. They also offer breakfast onsite of toast, muffins, waffles, oatmeal, coffee and juice. The coffee was good. The owner was really nice and so helpful on recommendations for places to eat and things to do, he even went online to look up menus and places. So, Yes I strongly recommend this Econo Lodge to everyone. We really enjoyed our stay.

Econo Lodge is okay for the price but don't look for having a big breakfast with meat and eggs. Mattress is just hard. Like I say is sufficient for the price.

It s clean and it can get you through the night. Walffes were trash go get breakfast.

I spent the night there during training at Region 20. The place was very clean, the room was nice, spacious, and mine was right next to the pool! If your an educator planning to do trainings at REC20 over a couple of days, this is the place to stay.

Room was clean, very comfy pillows and bed. We attended a concert at the AT&T Center close by so the drive was a few miuntes both ways. You don't hear any noise from traffic so it's very quiet and great for sleepy babies; mine napped for a few good hours during the day. We'd definitely stay again.

The Room is very clean. Beds are comfortable. Only thing I can say is bad is that the water pressure in the shower is not great. Other than that it is good. Much better than I expected it to be. I would stay here again.

I like the customer service and friendly staff. The atmosphere was good and like how I found the room clean. The only thing that was a bit dirty was the bath tub which I did not use to take a shower. I had to wait the following day to shower since had reservation at Spring Hill and Suites.

Location is easy to get to, service is good, rooms seem to be redone. They were clean and overall stay was good. Breakfast is lacking. Even for a Continental I would expect at least fruit, milk, and cereal. The breakfast had none of these. It also has no laundry facility.

Cheap but broken down. When I stayed there, the bathroom had a very strange smell in it and just didn't go away. Overall, the beds were sort of comforting.

Horrible experience this weekend. A couple friends came by to take us out and the hotel manager said he was calling the cops on us and held our luggage against our will when we tried to leave.

It was clean. Staff was nice. Quiet mostly (it is next to the interstate).

Treat you well and the place is clean.

The room was clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. My only complaint is that the heat/ac unit smelled funky when it ran, but the room in general smelled fine. Good price and close enough to downtown if you have a rental car. The area between the highway and the econolodge was sort of sketchy looking, but the immediate vicinity is fine. Check in and check out were easy. Wifi worked and the TV had channels. Pool looked clean. Would stay again.

Clean room. Great front desk staff. Very friendly. Traffic noise isn't that bad considering how close it is to the interstate.
