Great place to stay. Reasonable prices and great staff.

We were just stopping for the night on our way from Las Vegas to the DFW area. We had very pleasant interactions with both front desk employees. The room was clean and updated. Nothing fancy but plenty big for our family. Kitchenette with full fridge/freezer. Shower was standard but good temp and water pressure. Overall great experience. Would definitely stay here again. ETA: we also felt very safe in the area of this hotel. We’ve stayed at other hotels in Amarillo and didn’t feel as secure, but had no trouble sleeping soundly feeling safe at My Place.

Very pleased with our stay! Check-in was a breeze, the staff was friendly. When we had an issue with the Wi-Fi, the desk staff ran up to our floor (literally — all 4 flights) to help us out. The room was clean and it included a full-size fridge, which was awesome! Would definitely stay here again!

Very clean and nice. SUPER COMFY BEDS! Wow — Didn't want to get up! Front desk provided us with everything we needed including a wine opener:) Definitely recommend.

I had never heard of this hotel before but I'm super glad we stopped. The room was super clean and the amenities were good to go. It was by far the nicest and safest hotel that my family had stayed at. They also take pets which was a bonus.

Super comfortable and cozy hotel room with mini kitchenette and big fridge. It was a little out of my budget, but I needed a good, safe place for my boys and I to stay after being on the road all day and to get out of the storm that hit us that evening/night. It was worth the extra money. My only issue is that breakfast is offered for an extra fee. You can get coffee 24hours a day though. The staff was kind and helpful as well.

Expected a room for the night and was pleasantly surprised that room had so many amenities. We had no problem with booking a handicapped room plus we always travel with our miniature long-haired dachshund, no issues there. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Will definitely stay again.

Work crew and I have been staying here a couple of months. The hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the beds really are very comfortable. The only negative I can think of is the free Wi-Fi: it sucks. There are several restaurants nearby, Target is across the highway. A very convenient and comfortable place for anyone to stay.

Very impressed with the quality of our room and overall stay. Good job housekeeping! The fact our room came with a little kitchenette is wonderful! My only concern is the computer in the lounge. One of the few running programs monitors keyboard and mouse strokes. Manager, I recommend automating a re-imaging process. Customers stay away from computer.

This was a nice place to stay! The Internet was horrible though. Wish the walls were a little more sound proof and doors didn't slam so loudly. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would stay again!

It was clean. Neutrogena shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Friendly staff. Only negative was the $5 breakfast. They bring it to your room after ypu picking off a card and turn it in at the desk. It's frozen stuff you microwave yourself in the room. It should be made more clear on the website what exactly you're paying for. Bring your own food.

Clean, comfortable, and friendly staff. No free breakfast but no big deal. Room has full size fridge, stove and microwave but no pots, pans, plates, etc. So bring your own if you plan on cooking.

What a great place! Rooms are very comfortable. The bed and pillows we're perfect for getting a good night's sleep! There's even a full size frig, microwave and cook top! You can purchase a nice breakfast for under $5.00 and there's a coffee room open 24/7. Pricing was very reasonable.

Me and some co-workers stayed here for a year or more. Not one of had a complaint. Clean, friendly, comfortable and very efficient. 5 stars ladies I appreciated all you did to make our stay as good as home!

Chic and quaint hotel. Newly remodeled for long stays. Bed is comfortable. Free coffee at the lobby 24 hours. No free breakfast. Parking is spacious. Staff are friendly.

Inexpensive, quite, clean hotel. The staff has been friendly since checking in. The rooms are clean, modern and have all accommodations needed while staying here. The room has a full kitchen with stove, fridge and microwave. AC blows hard and cold! Hotel has plenty of valet carts. If you’re looking for a nice hotel that doesn’t break the bank, this is it!

Clean, quiet rooms that have everything you need. HDTVs with HBO was a bonus. Great rate for what you get. Only downside was that no King beds. Would recommend overall.

The night prior to staying at My Place Amarillo I paid $65 at a Motel 6 that didn't even supply shampoo. At $75 this place is amazing. I've even got a kitchenette (range w/ sink) with dish soap, paper towels, and an ice maker in the fridge. It's the little things that make this place shine. 10/10 would stay again.

Needed a pet friendly hotel for one night to stop on a 20 hour car trip. Very clean and comfy rooms. Just what we needed.

Good for passing though with our dogs. Beds were not comfortable. The place was not completely clean. It was a decent place for us to rest while in town. If we are passing through again I would stay there if the other place that is dog friendly is full.

It was clean and the staff was nice but the air conditioner whined when it shut off. Super annoying! Otherwise the place was fine.

Loved this place! Room was super clean, smelled nice, and didn't set off my mold allergies which was awesome! Beds were cozy and comfortable. Kitchenette was great, full sized refrigerator and microwave! So many outlets all over the room, and none of those sketchy 6 to 2 outlet adapters half hanging out the wall. Only improvement would have been a detachable shower head.

Traveling for work we found this place online and took a chance because they are "Pet Friendly"… we are so glad we did. Front desk staff has been nice & pleasant, very clean and comfortable accommodations, great room rate, they don't gouge you with high pet fees, the beds are oh so comfortable, we had a kitchenette with a (2) burner electric stove top, microwave, full size fridge and small.

This was a great hotel, it was new and clean. Comfortable beds and the kitchen had a full sized fridge, small stove and microwave. Only downside was that they had no dishes or silverware. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with pets as well, they were welcomed there and we only had to pay an extra $10.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was modern and very clean. Room had large fridge and kitchen amenities. Overall it was a very comfortable stay.

The building and parking lot were very nice and clean. The room was very clean as well. There was a nice kitchen in the room including a full fridge, microwave and stove top. The service was very friendly. There was no gym at the hotel but all guests get to workout for free at a gym in town, which is very nice because most hotel gyms aren't nearly as nice as any commercial gym anyway. Overall, very enjoyable stay. Would definitely go back.

This place is awesome! Soooo clean, and the staff very friendly and helpful. My room has a regular size fridge, a 2 burner stove top, and a microwave. Highly recommend "My Place Hotel — Amarillo"

I am actually writing this for my Parents. They stayed here recently and had a great experience. We will definitely stay here the next time we travel through Amarillo. They room was very clean. Full sized recliner and comfortable bed. While it does not have the typical free breakfast, it has a very reasonable ($4.99 I think) breakfast in bed option which had many options. They are fairly picky and they had noting but great things to say about their experience.

Pet friendly, big and clean room with a comfortable bed. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Queen bed with a refrigerator, stove top and sink (if needed). I cannot stress the cleanliness aspect (hard to find when traveling). Great location as well. I highly recommend this motel when traveling.

Very Clean, spacious and affordable room, but with few symptoms of cutting corners: 1. Shower water pressure is VERY weak 2. One of the two bath room lights was out 3. Couple wall electric sockets were loose and lost power if you don't hold the plug in certain way 4 elevator is WAY too slow and constantly made hard clunk noise at 3rd floor. I would pay a bit more at stay at another near by hotel.

The room is fairly small but has a kitchen with refrigerator and microwave. I was just visiting someone staying here from out-of-town, so I can't comment on comfort or noise level, etc. But it seems nice enough. There was also a recliner in the room which was really nice. The chairs in hotel rooms are not usually very comfortable, but this one was nice.

Very quiet. Very clean. Very comfortable. Very affordable. And a very friendly staff. I was very pleased with my visit. I have a bad back and the bed/mattress was very comfortable. I had a great night of sleep. I highly recommend the My Place Hotel.

Very neat and clean. We visited the hotel after a long drive and I must say it was just as advertised. Minimal but the rooms were clean, the sheets washed and fresh and we slept very well. That said there are some minor irritants, there were no pots or pans, so the kitchenette was useless, who travels and stays over a night with pots and pans? Finally it does seem a bit pricey for whats on offer, but all the hotels were booked so I didn't mind forking 115$ + for a good night's rest.

We needed a short stay (1am-7am) and had never heard of the My Place. It's new which is nice, but the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever stayed in a hotel. Rose Mary was extremely helpful at the front desk as well! They offer a $5 breakfast in bed that has a pretty solid selection which was a winner to me. I would highly recommend staying here rather than the large hotel chains that are around it.

The staff was extremely pleasant and courteous. The room was extremely clean and updated unlike most hotels nowadays. I would recommend this hotel to anybody.

Rosemary was scheduled as the overnight front desk staff representative and I couldn't have received more accommodating service! Phenomenal attention to detail, Rosemary answered all of my questions thoroughly, and took a generous amount of time with me making sure our stay went as expected. Her level of professionalism was beyond exceptional! Having left a week long vacation in Breckinridge, CO, I am more satisfied with My Place Hotel — Amarillo, than the previous hotel we stayed in which cost thousands of dollars. We will not only return to My Place Hotel Amarillo for our future stays, but highly recommend this location to all our friends, family and loved ones due to the cleanliness, affordability, and impressively courteous staff that operate this hotel. This is my first time here and I was so shocked at how great this hotel was! Very clean, filtered water, clean cozy amazing! Loved my room so much!

Opened new in June of 2016. Very clean and nice rooms. No free breakfast offered, but they will deliver a decent breakfast to your room for $5. Extended stay type room with a full fridge and cook top. Worth the stay if you are looking for a nice place for a decent cost.

Clean Rooms, Awesome Beds, Best Comforters, Best pillows ever. Super Clean Bathrooms with big fluffy towels, Breakfast in bed… Yes. Breakfast in Bed. 12 Cup Coffee Makers in Room. All for $84.00… Stay here is a must.

I never do reviews… but felt obligated because I've been traveling the US for 8 years for work and this place is at the top of my list. Awesome comfy homey rooms and the GM Anna and her crew went above and beyond I highly recommend!

Super cheap hotel. Was very clean, new and bed was comfortable, but spartan. Like staying in an office break room with a bed. Nothing wrong with that, but definitely would not recommend for a romantic get away, etc. Staff took a long time to process our room and hand over keys.

Hotel was very clean, and appeared fairly new. Room was a pretty decent size. Comfortable chairs, and bed. Soft, and cushy bedding. Nice bathroom setup with good water pressure. In room kitchenette was neat.
