Freshly renovated, I literally wrote home (okay, texted) about. A classy, peaceful respite, everything is “just so. ” Super-tasteful decor, well prepared breakfast buffet/something for everyone. Felt very taken care of by the attentive staff.

Everyone was very friendly we check in 12:29am and Sunny was friendly and told us where we can get something to eat. When we check out this morning 10:46am everyone was very friendly and that was great. I work in customer service and I appreciate when other people give great customer service. Thanks for everything Lance Family Henry, Latrice and Emily.

Comfortable and spacious rooms, with great beds. The rooms are suites, which is so nice. There's plenty of room to stretch out. Parking is. Not great. The breakfast is awesome, though.

The only reason lower stars right now is the visit was made during renovations. So, only physical room issues. Staff and property and breakfast were all top notch and fantastic. Even the noise level was well managed. My room backed on to a busy road and I never heard anything except an ambulance once. Really great sound management. Again, only real issue is that none of the doors in the room close correctly. That should be fixed soon, and then will be 5 stars for sure.

Friendly people, clean room, and no peculiar smells. That's difficult in a humid place like Charleston. The My Pleasant Residence was the right choice for me. There is a grocery store, a sports bar, and pizza just across the parking lot. I didn't need to be right downtown, but downtown was only 25 minutes away. Shem Creek, the Citadel, Patriots Point, and beaches all were also within about 25 minutes. Good choice!

Nice place, just renovate the rooms. Very quiet, I love the full kitchen the only thing I have to say is that there is some smell in the hallways.

The location of the hotel is ideal for a beach vacation, as it is so close to the Isle of Palms connector. Our room was nice and had a small balcony where we could sit outside. It was very clean, despite the construction going on in the lobby. The staff were friendly. My only complaint was that the furniture in the living area was older and not particularly comfortable. Overall, a very enjoyable stay!

Rooms are very nice. They are very clean and provide everything needed for a long stay. The staff here are exceptional. I had internet issues and expected to have to wait a long time to get a hold of the internet service provider customer service representative. But the staff took care of everything and made sure I had the quickest service. The location is within walking distances of a variety of restaurants and shops. There's a grocery store across the street, which has been very convenient.

A few of my friends and I stayed at this property in two rooms. Front staff was welcoming, the location was awesome, but my favorite experience was with Courtney, our housekeeper. She stopped by both days just to make sure we were okay even though I told her that we weren't going to be needing anything. She made sure to replenish our coffee for us, and also brought us the extra towels that we needed. She was very attentive even after we said we wouldn't be needing services. Thank you Courtney!

My wife and I stayed over night with a pet. Nice place, but if you have a pet understand that you WILL be charge $100. For that pet. It is not refundable, as I find out out after the fact. They do give you a paper to sign regarding pet damage. Its on me assuming that it was refundable, read what you sign. It costs as much for your pet to stay as yourself, but they don't get the breakfast.

Helpful staff; wonderful morning breakfast, clean room and pet friendly, plenty of shopping in walkable distance… I will visit again.

Absolutely amazing experience. Checked in to this hotel at 4:30am after driving all night and checking in to another another hotel (Seaside Inn of Isle of Palms) and having such a bad experience that we left. This hotel was extremely courteous, professional, and all of the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and make sure that we enjoyed our stay. Very, very impressed with the complimentary breakfast, the cleanliness and quality of our room, and will most definitely be returning.

I'm staying here right now and love it! I would come back and stay again. The staff is wonderful. The amenities are great! And the breakfast is more than you could ask for! The rooms are quiet. Beds are comfortable. I could go on and on! This place rocks!

Beautiful rooms and a great breakfast! A little slow to replace light bulbs and the staff member that checked us in did not use the script. Housekeeping was excellent.

I stayed at the Residence Inn Mount Pleasant for a night after a friend's wedding. The room was clean and well appointed. It wasn't too fancy, but had everything we needed. The only problem is that there is no sign outside so it was a little hard to find.

4.5 Loved how they did extra for the CRB runners this morning — early breakfast and map of course/bottle water. 3.5 no luggage rack in closet or privacy tag on door. Left the room at 5:45 a. M. And returned around 1:00. Room not cleaned and came to our door around 1:30. We had "crashed" by then.

We loved our stay. The suite were nice and clean and warm. There were shops and restaurants in walking distance, from the Hotel. And, a short distance from MUSC.

This was the most unbelievable crew! We were in for a wedding but hurricane Mathew decided he was coming too. Melissa Zimmerman stepped in and made it all happen. She called over to their sister hotel at courtyard Marriott and Ashley Miller arranged a beautiful reception in a matter of minutes. Keisha our bartender was so much more. She ran around and did whatever we needed during the set up. The residence inn crew especially shevane and Kathy and the front desk took care of all of our needs during the storm. They arranged for rooms for everyone that remained through the storm. The housekeeping team was awesome. They took care of all of our needs. Our big group took over the hotel kitchen and lobby to accomadate our friends and families. Speechless about this group of people.

Great room, breakfast service has more attention than any other hotel I have ever experienced.

The conference room was spacious and well equipped for our training.

Room was very clean and staff was super friendly. We were engaged multiple times and asked how we were doing and if they could help us. The full breakfast was awesome. The closable door to the bedroom was great for us because we could sleep separate from the kids.

Front desk staff (Linda) is thoughtful, courteous and kind. This hotel is clean and quiet. Breakfsat is great. Our kids love the pool and hot tube. We live fairly close to this hotel (Summerville). We stay at hotels in the area when we go boating. We will make all of our stays at this hotel from here on out.

Wonderful hotel, great staff and hospitality!

My wife and I stayed here during our winter break, for a quick over nighter on our way to Atlanta. We always stay at a Residence Inn, but this one blew us away. The lobby — the hardwood floors, made you feel like you weren't at a hotel. The staff was extremely hospitable (just taking time to talk, just to say hello). The breakfast — the lady who makes breakfast makes her own sausage gravy… that's how down home this place is. If you're staying or vacationing anywhere in the Charleston area, I don't know how you can stay anywere but here. We liked it so much, we booked our summer vacation here too… close enough to Isle of Palms beach area, why not. Also a short drive from downtown Charleston too.
