Absolutely wonderful place and location!

We were upgraded to a balcony suite. The views were fantastic! Would certainly recommend staying here again. A shuttle bus transports us to downtown Charleston in minutes!

Had a spectacular view from our waterfront room. Really enjoyed sitting on the deck and seeing all the boats and the water. It was so nice seeing so many guests outside relaxing on the patio and at the pool. It really is a great location. And, the inside was nice also. Our room was clean, had a comfortable bed with nice white linens. Nice little sitting area with tv. The hotels foyer was open and inviting. Thank you for a nice stay.

When we arrived, the room had not been swept at all. There was hair in the sinks, dust in the fridge and the counter had something sticky all over it. There was also a foul odor in the shower. The remote was also not in a plastic cover like the second one in the bedroom. The TV in the bedroom is pointless because you can’t watch it from the bed because of where it is in the room. The room was also not ready on time. When they came to clean it again, the counter was still sticky. They also turned the alarm on when they wiped it down a second time. We were woken up at 6:11 AM. The manager has dodged my calls when I was promised he would call me back. Very disappointing stay and a waste of my free hotel certificate!

This was the first hotel we had stayed in since Covid. Not knowing what to expect, we were happy. Their mask policy made us feel better and the room truly felt clean (aside from a little dust in the high areas). The balcony with rockers was perfect for the huge storm that came through. We had a great time watching that beautiful weather from our fourth floor perch. When we asked if we could extend our stay, they worked with us to do so despite the complications I’m sure that caused since the hotel was quite busy. My only complaint is that the drink machines were out of most things and I tried all four. However the store downstairs had what we needed. My family decided this is the only place we will stay when in Charleston. They are doing a great job in challenging times.

The hotel was clean, staff pleasant, view beautiful, although for $200.00+ a night, I expected more than a small single room, with bed, tv, desk, and pull out love seat. It had all we needed but was disappointed there was no breakfast options. I understand the Covid has effected this but for the price of the stay I was disappointed.

I came to courtyard Marriot for a overnight birthday get away. Immediately after walking thru the door I was greeted by the AGM Mara and one of her staff members at the front desk. She was very sweet and genuine. She is the epitome of southern hospitality!
My room was beautiful and very clean. The view was a plus! I had a delightful surprise last night when I went down and saw a reception that included mozzarella sticks and a sip of sangria. Perfect start to a night out on the town. I called down this morning to have a late check out and the front desk clerk was polite and efficient. (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name) I believe Tara. Everyone I have met at this property was nice. Kudos to Mara and her team for another great stay! I love it here and would highly recommend it!

Hotel was fantastic we were there for a hospital procedure. Took shuttle service back and forth. Everyone was very helpful and always smiling. Great staff at front desk, restaurant and shuttle drivers.

Fabulous hotel and a great place to visit Charleston.

Best of all was the concierge, Ed. He took us to downtown and back to hotel. He told us about the city, places to eat and all the great shops. He was respectful and since he noticed that I had trouble getting in the van he was there in case I needed extra support.

People are very friendly very beautiful view hospitality.

Our suite (room 451) was beautiful, very roomy. We had an amazing view of the harbor which was full of boats and yachts. The room was extremely clean and housekeeping did a wonderful job. There are a lot of nice outdoor spaces and a small dock/pier, which my teenage daughter loved. It’s removed from historic downtown so it’s fairly quiet, but downtown is also just a short drive away. We’ll definitely stay here again.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in the Charleston area, I would highly recommend it here! The rooms had just been updated, the beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, amazing views and the staff went above and beyond! Free mimosas, bloody Mary’s and Krispy Kreme donuts! A different themed party each night of our stay with free food/snacks and adult beverages (carnival and fiesta themes) and a shuttle to downtown… really really really enjoyed our stay! Manager Mara was fantastic — lots of good recommendations of places to visit/eat! We will definitely be back.

The room was clean, breakfast was awesome, the shuttle service was on point, the staff was very attentive, and the view from the patio and pool area was simply picturesque.

Great experience with great customer service. Complimentary upgrade to a balcony river view room. And then on top of that for my wife and my 5 year anniversary they prepared a complimentary platter including a bottle of champagne. This is why I keep coming back to Marriott when I travel. Great job guys!

Our first night was a disaster. After 2 1/2 hours our food never came from the bistro. I called hotel for reservation they said they were fully booked to book online. Because I booked online they give me a so called City view! Really it was the parking lot. I complained they upgraded me to waterfront view and charged me 45.00. The general mgr and director did consate us for food etc but my room charge was wrong. Hotel online states marriott Charleston waterfront. Bayou expect waterfront not parking lot and to charge me was trrrible.
