Couldn't do much, stayed during the shut down do to the virus, but seems to be very clean.

Clean place. No complaints. Pretty well centered to easy to get to attractions in York.

Was very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Stay was good but left something in the room and it was never turned in! I’m not sure what they need with a girls cheerleading coat, so I’m a little pissed that someone couldn’t be honest! I worked in a hotel and people always turned in lest items no matter what it was.

Crooks! Charged my credit card extra 150.00 saying SMELLED smoking in the room! NOTHING WAS SMOKED IN THAT HOTEL… FALSE FALSE FALSE! After I complained that morning about no hot water and the drain being broke all of sudden, This happens! I WILL NEVER STAY WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

It's an ok hotel, located up on a hill so it's pretty easy to spot. Rooms are comfortable. Front desk could use some help, they offer a 24hr coffee bar, but when I asked the front desk staff if they were going to brew more coffee they had no idea what to do and didn't seem to care to find anyone who did know what to do.

Had a family reunion in York, and those of us who are out of the area all stayed here. Worked out great. Nice rooms and things for everyone to do outside reunion events.

The staff was friendly, rooms were mostly clean. Some very small areas seemed a little dirty but I believe it was just from normal "wear and tear". Comfortable, air conditioner worked well and the pool area was heated. Could use a little updating, and I was disappointed with the size of the pool (it was pretty small). Overall, there was a little room for improvement, but I'd happily stay there again.

Perhaps a little far from Hershey Park (45-60 minutes) but good price and great service. Our cleaning lady was very courteous and helpful, I had my hands full with breakfast and she helped out.

Really nice rooms, mostly quiet, very clean! The breakfasts are pretty good too. I've been here a couple weeks and have no complaints!

The woman that checked us in was one of the friendliest persons I've ever met the rooms were clean the pool was nice I stay in a lot of hotels for my work and this was best by far thank you.

Paid over $600 to stay here and they couldn't even find it in There Budget to give us some Plastic ware to eat our dinner with got me really pissed.

Not a bad place, indoor pool, professional appearance and upkeep. For the price point, I've seen better but it doesn't really dissapoint. Bed was comfortable, clean room, however, it did seem antiquated and in need of an update, TV was older and resolution was… eh. Typical visitors include traveling business persons, family vacationers, and school sports teams.

Good value. I didn't have a chance to use the fitness center, pool or hot tub, but my traveling companion said they were fine. I used the business center to print something, so that was a nice convenience. Good breakfast options included in the room price. We love a waffle machine. They could probably use a second one (plus more tables and a larger seating area) given how busy it gets in the morning. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were by a stairway, so did hear some noise in the mornings. The room was very clean and a decent size, but the toilet in our bathroom was a bit clogged or wasn't flushing correctly when we arrived. We didn't end up reporting it because we managed to clear it with several flushes. Also, the TV was somehow connected to the light fixture switch, which was weird and annoying. The safe takes up a lot of room in the bottom of the closet, which is inconvenient. They do need to put up some signage for the little side road/driveway that goes to the hotel itself. It was difficult to find at night.

Couldn’t be happier with this stay! Fresh smelling room, clean and bright. Lovely lobby with lemon water, cookies and assorted teas and coffees plus fresh fruit. Helpful and friendly staff. Only reason I gave a four is it wA Sort of a hassle to get here (have to do a U — turn and after the U — turn, then the sign on the next street is so small it is easy to miss the turn if you don’t know where you are going for sure ok busy/quick traffic or the dark)

Small snack selection and minimum vending machines. Nice pool and exercise room. Great breakfast.

Not a good experience. The staff and the GM gave preferential treatment to a religious college swim team while we stayed there. They were permitted to take over the common areas with worship and asked other guests to “be quiet” and even requested that we move our table away from theirs since ours had a few beers on it. The worship one afternoon was held in the middle of the lobby where the team stood and sat. They prayed and sang and blocked the main entrance and the front desk. Other guests were glared at when we tried to walk out or to the desk. It was a fire hazard and an infringement on anyone who didn’t share their beliefs. ALL guests have freedom of religion and some do not like to be subjected to this in a PUBLIC place that we also have paid to stay. They reserved the conference room — still not sure why they weren’t in there. GM answered that it was their religious freedom and the hotel thought it was fine. How about disclosing this BEFORE you take our money? Unreal.

I smelled the pool very strongly when we entered the hotel, and the person working at the reception desk looked at us like he wanted us to walk right back out. The single king room was a nice size with a lot of extra space, and the furniture was tastefully arranged. There was a lot of soap residue on the little wall trays in the tub. My main complaint is that there was strange loud knocking sound periodically throughout the night. It was as if someone was hitting the other side of the wall with a stick, and it was coming from behind the toilet. Also, the coffee at the breakfast smelled suspicious enough that I decided to throw it out without even tasting it. My girlfriend had a sip and looked like she might get sick. The food was also very underwhelming. Overall it was not a bad experience.

The rooms were clean. Beds were somewhat firm. Room was lacking plugs. There were none near the bed. I missed the 6 am breakfast because it wasn't ready at 610 and I had a meeting to attend elsewhete.

Location of the hotel was great. Room and service was top notch. Gym was small yet clean.

Very nice hotel. I was here for 4 nights. The room I stayed in was very clean. House keeping did a good job making bed in every day. The continental breakfast provided by the hotel was exceptional! Lots of choices. Different types of eggs each day as well as some type of breakfast meat. Waffles. Lots of cereal choices. Yogurt. Juices. Coffee. Oatmeal. All of the staff were super friendly. Very helpful in finding places to eat out for supper. Would highly recommend to place to anyone.

Good location, convenient to good and shopping. Hotel staff was pleasant upon arrival and checkout. Room was clean and well stocked. The microwave and fridge were a pleasant surprise. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was nicely updated. Would recommend and would stay in this hotel again.

Very clean great bed safe in room microwave refrigerator. Was overnight guest due to a funeral in town. Did not utilize amenities. Centrally located. Would stay again for sure.

Great convenient hotel. Always clean and comfortable. The breakfast is better than many hotel breakfasts. My favorite is cheese omelette morning. The reviews about Google maps directions are obviously by people who don't live in Pennsylvania. Left turns across traffic are often illegal in Pennsylvania. This isn't a issue with this hotel, it is a issue with the state. The hotel is very easy to find.

Place was fine. Not expensive, had a small gym and pool. Room was clean. Breakfast was okay but typical for a hotel like this.

Stayed for two nights, second time staying here. Had a very comfortable and quiet sleep both nights. The breakfast buffet was better than last year, waffles, omelets, biscuits and gravy, bacon and much more. I booked thru Expedia what I thought was a very good rate and the woman who checked me in said next time call them directly and I could get a cheaper rate. Very friendly staff, I will definitely stay there again.

Unfortunately, I had to rate this at least a "1" to review. Don't ever stay here. The incompetent employee who checked us in marked is as "no-shows", which caused the overnight clerk to sell our room to someone else. So, at 2:30 am, someone bursts into our room (which was deadbolted, so take that for what it's worth), terrifying us. The employees were no help whatsoever, and ended up charging us THREE TIMES for that one night! We called and spoke with the general manager, who did to her credit compensate the room; however the hotel has not worked with the bank to cancel these charges which are still being withdrawn for three nights (which should be 0 nights). I recommend not going to York, PA in general, but if circumstances force you there, you're better off at the Rodeway Inn down the road. You'll deal with drug deals and prostitution there, but you won't be charged three times for a one-night stay or have your room broken into.

Wingate employees were very pleasant and always greeted us with a "hello" or "good morning". Room was clean. Definitely recommend.

Very nice hotel, room was very clean. Hard to get out of parking lot street only goes one way. Staff very nice and helpful.

Clean clean and clean! It was close to everything I needed. The staff was very nice. I ran into no issues during my stay. Highly suggest over all in that area.

Google went crazy trying to navigate us here. The road leading into the driveway can only be accessed in one direction. So it was a pain to get in the driveway the first time because of the direction we were coming from. Also I got a carton of milk from the continental breakfast that was about half solid chunks. But the date was still good on the carton so not sure why it had gone bad. Apologetic staff quickly replaced it. Hotel is clean, we liked it and it was half the cost of the same hotel in Lancaster.
