Traveling across the country made us very tired and can I say “grumpy? ” The staff here at 4 Points Sheraton has been so nice that my grumpiness was erased. We’ve had nice cleaning staff. They wipe down everything! The Fitness Center has just what I need. Next door is a 24 Hour, 7 Days a week Diner with every kind of food imaginable. I’ve had a lot of good stays at hotels over the years and around the world. This one is the best to me because of the staff’s genuine kindness. Thank you.

I wanted to say thanks to Sydney at the front desk for helping w/ my room reservation. She made sure I had a great room & was very comfortable. Also, I wanted to say thanks to Jennifer & Debbie in the restaurant. The food was very good & the service was amazing. If I get a chance to stay in York again, I will be making my reservations here! Thanks again Ladies!

We had our 60th class reunion there and our food was cold. Would not recommend.

Went to check in. Which I booked months ago, they said we are sorry we over booked. We moved you to another hotel. This is not acceptable to do without calling someone first. I drove over 3 hours. I will never stay with a Sheraton again.

What an awesome experience — the manager, Mike Grossman was on top of everything, the food was good and the bar waa quick and delicious. Great pool amd very clean rooms.

Although the staff is helpful, the hotel is clean and nice they do have one MAJOR flaw. They do not offer handicapped accessible rooms with 2 beds. I guess Marriot feels handicapped people do not have families. It is a huge disappointment and unacceptable to the disabled community. If you are disabled its a family this hotel will not work for you.

The ladies upfront were friendly. The rooms were very clean. Something was wrong with the pool the days I was there though. Overall it was a good place to stay.

Very bad hotel! Requested an upgrade and was not given one, had no option but to get cramped in two very small beds. As soon as we walked in the lights did not work and we had to turn each one on individually, some of them didn’t even work. We were greeted by a very bad smell and humid feeling. The blankets were very heavy and sticky. The floor looks as if someone had mistaken it for the bathroom. Definitely not coming here again. Not to mention the poor customer service…

The manager Miss Dawn and all her staff were extremely helpful. They went out of their way to make sure our stay there was exceptionally amazing. Will definitely come back!

The Hotel is Very Clean. Kitchen Breakfast staff is Extremely Helpful, offered to take my son & I to show us the pool. Customer service at the front Desk were very pleasant. It was my 8 yo & 6yo sons first time in a Hotel and they didnt want to leave. I would Definitely recommend this Hotel. Our room was Great.

Nice lobby. However everything is downhill from there. Receptionist couldnt be less helpful if she tried. Furniture, beds, bathroom, pool area… everything is not only dated but dirty. Not worth even the low paid price.

Hotel was clean, included an indoor pool and hot tub, as well as an attached restaurant/bar. It was also near some good restaurants and places for coffee. The only thing is the breakfast is not free, unless you get a free breakfast voucher (we only received a $5 off voucher).

Staff was courteous. However, multiple rooms were dirty, room keys didn't work, beds unmade. Awful experience! Definitely last time staying here!

Decent rooms, great customer service. Elevators smell a bit. Great location. Nearby diner is also outstanding.

The checking was good, just when we go to the room it seemed it was not properly clean. My brother found a baseball under the bed and also the bathroom needed more towels. The restaurant the person never came to open it which was disappointing. My family and I had to go eat at the dinner near by which we did not like. I would this place can be either good or bad depending on how many days you stay and what room you get. This place does have a 24hrs gym, pool and jacuzzi but we didn't go cause we only stay one night.

Their manager need to be replaced. We arrived at 7am to get the room which we reserved through hotels app and their manager refused to admit us until 11am. There were only ten cars parked outside, as they do have plently hundreds of rooms available to let us in. We will never come back to this place again. However their pool is nice and the bartender in the first floor are charming to talk with in an empty lobby place.

The room was clean but dated. Unfortunately, there was a bright light right outside my window. Probably not a problem most people would have.

If I could I would give them no starts because first day we came the room had garbage in it day 2 we left at 7:30am and got back at 6pm our room had not been clened there where no clean towels and our beds where not made.

Where do I begin. We were driving to see family for Easter with our 1 year old. We left at her bedtime so she would sleep most of the 9+ hour drive. We were getting tired around 2am and she was getting upset so we decided to stop for a few hours sleep. The first room we went to was unmade. There was garbage in the can. It was clear that someone had checked out and the room was never serviced. My husband went to the front desk to get a new room. He walked into the new room and there was someone sleeping in the bed! Finally we said “forget it” and decided to leave. When we walked out with our daughter I assumed the front desk would apologize or something but she said nothing. I understand mistakes happen but to show zero empathy at 3am when there’s a baby involved?! Unreal.

Room should have upholstered chair and occasional table where you can sit and read. Hotel staff friendly and accommodating, but physically, hotel due for renovations (dated furnishings, carpet, bathroom fixtures)

We stay there for 4 days. SPG guest can check out late at 1:30pm. This is great because we can never check out on time with kids. Rooms and hallways are a bit old but okay. Weekends breakfasts are decent. Free coffee at lobby is a great plus. Our room attendance is very nice. There were a kids from hockey team/tournament that went crazy. Adults and kids eat, drink and yell on the hallway was uncalled for. Adults were drunk and shown no considerations. I felt bad for the room attendants becsuse they trashed to hallway. Our kids sleep at 9pm so they can wake up at 6am for a swim meet. After asking them to quiet down, they still went on until 10pm. Overall hotel stay was nice and our kids enjoy it.

The check-in was quick. The rooms are big and the king bed super comfy. Giant screen LG TV when hotel usually have small 32'. Loved it would return anytime.

Where do I begin with this experience?!?! WHAT AN AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL experience. We attended this hotel for a wedding. First the rooms were not available in time, they put us in a room that wasn't clean then moved us to another room which smelled extremely damp and dewy but we didn't have time to check things out because we didn't want to be late for the wedding. We arrived back at the room (2 adults and a 4 year old) the smell of mold was extremely strong so we started searching around to find the issue. Behind a picture on a wall covered a nice hole, which you could see mold behind. We continued to rip down the wallpaper (which was placed over the drywall to cover the mold) to see just how much mold was hiding… AN ENTIRE BATHROOM WALL! I immediately called down to the front desk to switch rooms as I couldn't have my 4 year old sleep in this atmosphere. The front desk answered and said "It's 11:30 at this point there is nothing we can do about it just suck it up til morning" I sent my daughter into another room with other family members who attended the wedding. After a week of emailing back and forth the hotel gave us 4, 000 reward points and refunded the nights stay. An avg stay is 10, 000 reward points so obviously we will never be booking with them again. I hate to think how many people this has happened to.

Not a fan of writing comments on hotels. But this hotel is literally not as good as it is said in the comments. At least 4 bugs came out of nowhere at night flying in my room (I guess they came from the air condition machine) The room door is old and the door lock could not be switched. And it took 10-15 mins for the air condition to blow air after I turned it on. It definitely didn't worth the $98 I've paid.

The staff was externally kind and accommodating. The pool, Jacuzzi and gym were clean and private. The room itself was okay. The beds needed new mattresses, and there was no hot water out of our bathroom sink. The weirdest thing was being serinated by the hot water heater on the 5th floor at night. We had to shut the bathroom door to sleep. But the restaurant and downstairs was just fine and friendly.

Very nice place to stay. This would definitely be somewhere I'll be staying in the future. Would have been 5 stars but one star was lost due to imperfections in the finishes in the room. Some loose flooring, panel in front of the tub was loose. Other than that it was a wonderful experience.

Stayed here one night. Room was clean and spacious with new bathroom. Pool area was great and breakfast also a nice surprise (waffles, eggs, sausage, toast and fruit salad). Check-in was fast and efficient. Also stayed at Wyndham; definitely recommend the Sheraton over Wyndham.

This place was really nice! They gave us drink tickets for a complimentary drink as well as breakfast coupons. Nice interior, up to date.

Horrible experience! Wish I could leave negative stars! The staff was beyond rude every day and when I checked out and spoke to the manager, she was also rude. Not just a little rude, they were horrendous! This wasn’t just a little tiff, they full on attacked me daily. I was always courteous but they were constantly accusing me of my employee paperwork being fraud or something else. I couldn’t believe it actually. They also harassed me daily with constant phone calls, which they didn’t greet me when I answered. As soon as I answered and said “hello” they said, “I charged your card the regular rate. ” And hung up. I would call back and ask them why and told them I’ve emailed my paperwork and even shown them the paperwork many times and asked them why I was being treated that way, they were rude and gave excuses. There is so much more. I just cannot believe this. I worked for Marriott for 10 years and my husband did as well and now works for Starwood, now for 7 years and this is not Starwood or Marriott standard. It’s pretty obvious I’m not the only one they’ve mistreated. I am really upset about this and this will not be the only complaint I make and I let the manager, Heather know that. Please get back to me ASAP.

The Four Points by Sheraton York is a decent hotel. Honestly do not believe it was worth my money though. The fridge in the room did not work, there was nothing special to the room. Couldnt even watch movies that we brought. The pool was okay but the hot tub did not work. So like I said, it was decent.

I honestly do not have anything negative to say about this hotel! Everything about it screams comfort! Very friendly host's I arrived at 7Am and there was complimentary breakfast it consist of muffins, cinnamon rolls, toasts, eggs, sausage, hashbrown, fruits, and yogurts… Clean Hotel all around. There is coffee all day and night at the lobby, there is a restaurant with a bar, they even have a room that can be rented for personal use. I had a small fridge in the room, this has been the best hotel I have stayed in yet! They have movies available to rent, fitness room, indoor pool and a hot tub, coin washer and dryer, the room had coffee machine, ice bucket and water. There is room service, and dry cleaning. Iron and ironing board available too. There was no safe in the room but that did not bother me at all. Totally recommend it!

Staff was very couteous. Room was clean. Absolutely no complaints. I would recommend staying here.

Reserved a king bed which came with a kitchenette (microwave and mini fridge). Hardwood floors in main entry to room and carpeted throughout. Stayed on fifth floor away from elevators and was pretty quiet. Free breakfast provided during our sat-mon stay. Hallways showing wear and tear but otherwise a comfortable stay.

My stay at four point by Sheraton York was very enjoyable. We received a free upgrade to 2 room 2 bathroom suite at check-in. Both rooms included large screen new LG LED televisions. Room was in very good condition. The indoor pool was heated to a comfortable temperature and there was also a hot tub. Free buffet breakfast was also included.

I went there to try out the beer specialties on a very hot day as I was staying there. Only to find out the refrigerator was broken and had no frozen glasses. The glass I got was warm making my beer warm. Common guys, let's get this fixed. I'll be coming back in a few weeks and hope to have a nice cold glass to go with my nice cold beer after a day out in the sun!

Very disappointed with the service, checked in at 9:30. The AC wasn't working. Asked front desk to change the room after 3 hours the room that was given the card key did not work, and somebody was already in the room. At 2 am I was finally given another room. 8 of us booked 8 rooms — after checked in 5 of A C wasn't working! At some point some keys weren't working to renter. Very funny, very disappointed about the work fine by front desks people.

This hotel is in the midst of a remodel so thing might not always be so so as they are on this stay. Overall the stay has been good. The room clean but there are cigarette burns on the carpet. My bed had blue bristles all over it both nights due to the housekeeping brush. The toilet kept on breaking my entire stay. It's an easy fix but they need to fix it permanently. The worst thing was the breakfast. I have never been in a breakfast area that was as trashed as it was. I am not sure if a ranging group of teenagers had just preceded me, but the place was trashed.

For being a 4 star hotel I was very disappointed. Was moved to another room within in the 1st day because toilet was clogged. 2nd room found sink was clogged would eventually go down didnt even bother to say anything. Hottub look like it needed a good cleaning didnt even want to go in it for fear of getting something. Early Saturday morning while trying to sleep listen to 2 maids screaming at eachother in hall way. Plus feont counter staff was very nice and same w the lady in their restaurant. Would I stay again no. I could have stayed at a cheaper hotel and atleast expected disappointment.

Clean and sleek. The rooms were fabulous and had a high level of standards with cleaning and in room furniture. It is worth it.

I stayed for a whole week and enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was great and friendly. The breakfast buffet always had a wide selection and different items everyday. The room itself was very nice and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to any business traveler.

Low price, but you get what you pay for. The drains don't drain well and in order for the faucet water to be warm or hot you must turn it to jet-fast flow. Comfy bed and very friendly staff, though.

The room was spacious and the staff was friendly. Everything seemed to be in working order and the hotel was nice and quiet. My only disappointment was that the floors in the hallways of the hotel were quite dirty and the floors in the rooms were not much better. Other than that, everything was great!

Awesome guest services I actually witness the whole GSR give a Birthday card to an older worker and it was touching God bless those wonderful workers, whatever my daughter and I needed they accommodated us. Very good and Efficient service I love it.

I only sorrento time in a small conference room, but they had very nice refreshments. In addition to snacks, there was also lemonade, iced tea and orange-infused water. The last drink was something I've never tried before. Usually, when I make a citrus-infused drink, I only use lemon or limes. These two often leave the water tasting unbearably bitter, especially when the rind is left on. Now, at least 3 liters the orange infused water that I drink from a refillable bottle and it really just tasted like diluted orange juice. No bitterness I'm just a very flavor. I know this review is supposed to be about the hotel, but I learned a new beverage tip and I feel like my life is better are having tasted the water at the Four Points Hotel today!

Room was dirter than expected I had to pick things off the floor, like old raisins before kids could go in room. The staff "kicked" adults out of area promptly at 10 PM, as if they were children, even through they were saying goodbyes, the pool area had rocks in area and chemistry of spa did not smell correct, the laundry room dryer was not vented and it was almost too humid in the area to finish laundry and front desk clerk got days mixed up and told us breakfast was complimentary, only to have us told the next morning it wasn't… after we'd already made our plates. Overall, the facility was not as clean as it could have been and neither were other areas of the hotel, including room, elevator and halls. I will not recommend this hotel to others or stay here again. This hotel did not live up to the online photos or our overall expectations for family fun.

Has a bar, a nice pool, and treadmills. Rooms are over priced. It looks like a remodeled red roof inn from the 80s. Central air doesn't actually do anything. Breakfast cost.

The rooms are fairly clean and the service is decent. The hotel is a little bit older and dated a needs a renovation. For just sleeping, it's fine but I would call this an exceptional hotelhotel.

Not horrible. The room was small. The bathtub didn't hold water. The entire pool/jacuzzi area was poorly kept and dirty. The room keys worked when they wanted to. The TV didn't work for the first hour into the stay… Other than that it was a clean room and okay for a nights stay.

Arrived with a tour group to stay overnight here, and many guests shared a similar experience. The rooms were not very clean (coffee stains in the carpet, stains in the washroom and the ceiling) which was very uncomfortable. The heating unit was also broken and part of it was hanging away from the wall. There were only 2 large towels for a group of 4. Overall, it did not feel very clean and comfortable to stay here.

My recent overnight stay at the Four Points by Sheraton in York, PA wasn't all that great. The check in process was good. The representative was nice and helpful. I also for a good rate being an government employee. But the stay just wasn't all that enjoyable. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room could have been a bit cleaner. Also I think the next door guest were on there honeymoon if you get were I'm coming from. Overall the stay wasn't that great and would only come back if there wasn't available rooms at other hotels.

My husband booked the stay over the phone. Check in was quick and easy. The room was nice. Nothing special. The TV was small but not too bad. Overall the stay was nice.

I've been here a bunch of times and always been happy. They also have conference rooms that can be used for davening. I davened shacharis there every day on my recent vacation.

Very pleasant stay here. Clean room, courteous employees, free breakfast and Wi-Fi. Would definitely stay again next time I'm in York.

If you want a room with ants go for it. I'd you want to hear a sneeze to conversation by your neighbor because the walls are thin and they where suites converted to one bedrooms leaving a paper thin door between you and your neighbors. Also the maid hotel door to my room you can see through the bottom of it being is more noise and explains why bugs got in my room. Found s. Ashed spider in room. Warped wall paper. The room down from be the window was busted out. Grownups running up and down the hall like drunk in fools loud intimacy noises heard, crying babies you name it I never felt so unsafe at a hotel. In my life! Pay the 30$ a night for better quality lord n own I will. Never received fresh towels either.

The staff at the desk was great. Emily at the front desk was very helpful on recommending a great restaurant and she called one of our colleagues for us in his room to remind him of the time. Also the bar has some great local beers on tap with free snacks.

1). Internet so slow. You have to keep logging in because they keep bumping you out. 2). I brought my wife and 2 year old with me. Got one towel in my room. 3). Couldn't order room service because they never left a breakfast menu. I call room service they said they would bring a menu to my room, they never showed up. 4). I asked the manager if we could check out at 2 pm instead of 1 pm. My wife and baby were there while I was doing a food show. The manager said NO. We all know they don't rent those rooms until 3pm. I even said I would pay extra. Still he said NO. I now say NO I will never stay there again! 5). They have lousy food and don't serve lunch. Don't stay at this place. They care about you. They care about how much money they can get out of your pocket!

I was hired as a maid at this hotel last week. So this is the most recent post. They SEEM to be clean. But they have 30 minutes to clean a check out and 20 minutes to tidy up a stay over room. Now we got there at 8am and started around 830. We had a break at 10-1015am and a lunch at 12-1230 then another break at 2pm. We generally had around 12 or so rooms to clean each. You do the math. 30 minutes per room. Subtract all the breaks. And tell me how clean you think your room is. They skip vacuuming if they don't SEE anything. If they do they just pick it up. I vacuumed four rooms out of 5 days, 12 rooms a day. The comforter and second sheet are never washed. They set them on top of the red chairs and make the bed with the first two sheets. Then lay the SAME comforter and blanket on the new sheets. They do not wash these two items ever. They showed me how to clean the bathroom while using the same rag from the toilet on the sink. And if the bathtub doesn't LOOK used they won't clean it. Anything that didn't look used wasn't cleaned. Which I think is unsanitary considering they applied that rule to PILLOWS AND PILLOWCASES as well. They wouldn't change the pillow cases if they looked like no one used them. Have they heard of germs moving? They even told me they had bed bugs at one point. It just sickened me. I felt like I was betraying the clients that stay there on business or with their family and KIDS. They don't clean unless it LOOKS dirty.

Not the best hotel but for the price not the worst either. Clean hotel with a friendly staff.

It doesn't matter if this place is cheap. Worse hotel ever. They overcharge for everything. You're better off using a rock for Wi-Fi because that would have better connection.

I thought the facility itself was very nice. The service was not the best. Our team stayed here when we were in York for a tournament. We got pizza for the team on evening and they would not let us sit in the breakfast side of the lobby to stay out of the way and have tables instead they offered us the middle of the entrance in front of the front desk. We had four in our room yet only received 2 clean towels. We were told by on staff member they would open the complimentary breakfast early since we had to be at the field at seven only to have someone later tell us that they will not open early, not even putting bagels or muffins out. Last you pay a good amount to stay there and they still charge $6.00 to use the one washing machine they have for guests, which wasn't working! Will not stay there again or recommend it.

Not a place I would ever come back to. There were two rods sticking out from our bed frame. My toddler bruised his legs due to that. All the manager had to say is 'oh so sorry'. Breakfast is free — and awful. Horrible powdered cold scrambled eggs, burnt sausages and bacon. Left a dress in the room, and no one was interested in replying or calling back after 2 messages left. Go treat someone else like that. Not happening to me again. Not by you guys.

Too bad Google doesn't have an option for ZERO STARS. Even by unambitious Four Points standards, this place is a bad choice. The internet is very spotty, and when it does run, it is extremely slow. Worse is the poor management and customer service. We were part of a very large group. 45+ rooms. Even though management knew the hotel was full, they skimped on staffing. The breakfast buffet was running out of everything simultaneously and repeatedly. Adding one or two minimum-wage workers would have been a big help. But as it was, they were out of plates, forks, burnt sausage and powdered scrambled eggs. Lines were long because people were queuing for eggs and sausage. When they finallly arrived, there were no plates on which to serve them. Housekeeping banged on our door before we awoke, and every thirty minutes thereafter, so that we couldn't sleep. The final insult was when they charged us for an extra night because our bags were in the room a few minutes past noon. The manager on duty seemed delighted to stick us for an extra two-bits, without regard for the fact that we are a large group who partronize the hotel several times a year. We also patronize the Homewood Suites down the road, which is always nicer, where the internet works, and where we get treated well. In the future, it will only be the Homewood Suites. The manager will need to find other large groups to treat poorly. Our group won't be back.

Redneck rampage in the hall! Kids RUNNING down the hall AND SLAMMING doors to go to pool. Now they're playing tag going room to room looking for one another. Room is average travel lodge and TV comes in with static. Pre-book so you dont have to pay over $80 — because this is some broke-ass shit right here. Katie moved us to another floor.
