Great staff, food and just a great place to hang out. The course is challenging. The cart paths do need some attention though.

They have bedbug problems. I’ve seen and know people that have reported the problem and to only to receive partial refunds. That’s very unprofessional. Think wisely before choosing your stay there.

This place used to be one of our favs. I would still come for Golf and Drinks but not the food. The service was fine our waiter was nice. I got a miller life draft, took a sip and it was not Miller no problem but the bartender told the waiter I was wrong and it was miller. The crap dip was cold with huge hunks of cream cheese, didn’t see one piece of crab meet. The cream of crab soup have 5 pieces of crab. The crab cake wasn’t too bad. Still like to go here at night for drinks hopefully but do not recommend the food.

Great management and people skills. I really like the clientele of people that’s attracted to this establishment!

This is an all around great place to play golf, enjoy shuffleboard and chill out with a drink, appetizer or dinner. The views from the two bar areas are gorgeous. The upstairs bar has very relaxing chairs! There are areas that can be reserved for private events as well.

Hockey tournament was fun for the kids but rarely have I seen a more rude hotel staff, especially the younger lady at the front desk. We felt unwelcome the entire time. Apparently the place has new ownership and the new owners are anti-fun. On a floor with only hockey families, we couldn't even hang outside the rooms. We weren't loud or bothering anyone. I think the front desk mentioned disqualification from the tournament at least 5 times with thier threats. Was here last year and had a blast. This year a different story. I'll be saying something on dvhl page as well. I imagine they will have problems filling this tournament in the future because of the new owners and staff.

The absolute best Margarita Pizza I have ever had! I have had many before but this is on a whole different level. The flavors are amazing and the tomato confit and cheese, crust and big pieces of tomato all compliment each other so well. No other pizza like this will do for me now. The only thing I would do is eat it at the restaurant next time bc doing takeout the middle got a little soggy and I like a crisp crust. Even so I ate 4 pieces and I am a 1-2 piece at a time person, lol. Expected a smaller pizza and was pleasantly surprised by the size of it. Highly recommend you try it!

Hosted a bridal shower on the patio at Knickers this weekend and it was absolutely wonderful! This is a such a beautiful place for any event-brunch was perfect. Very reasonably priced, great food and exceptional service from the wait staff. The Sales Manager was prompt in her responses, organized and assisted with every detail to create a perfect day! We couldn’t have asked for more! Highly recommend!

The food here has dropped so far in quality I’d rather eat at a soup kitchen on leftover night. Thanks for ruining a once excellent spot!

I was a DJ for a wedding on June 15th 2019. The staff was very accommodating and kind. Treated me as one of the guests to make sure I was fed and happy being there!

My wife and I teed off a little before 4, pace was horrible, we found out why around hole 12, there was a group of guys (8 carts with 16 guys having a golf party we’re all playing together). There was no ranger on the course at all to break this up. I spoke to someone at the pro shop because we were out over 4 hours and I was so frustrated with sitting in my cart for so long on every hole. I thought he would atleast credit us a replay or something but nothing was done. The worst experience I’ve ever encountered golfing in york county. And to think heritage hills has been my favorite york county course before this.

We went for the Mother's Day brunch with our family. The staff & service were wonderful. They weren't the problem. The food though, was highly disappointing. The crab legs were super salty and highly overcooked, as were the shrimp. The "Belgian waffles" were super thin, limp and soggy. The desserts were mislabeled and left in their aluminum tins. There wasn't even an attempt to make them look classy, instead of store-bought and plopped on a table. There wasn't any fresh fruit available, and the roof was leaking into the food stations. For $40 a person, this was unacceptable. I don't plan to return.

We were there Friday evening for happy hour. Roof leaked in multiple places during rain, drink service and trying to get check was very slow. Service so slow we went elsewhere for dinner. Been going here since the late 80's when they opened. I know it's new ownership, so I will try again in future, but Friday night was bad.

Great place with lots of amenities. The spa is wonderful, snow tubing is tons of fun, and the food and drink at both Oak and Knickers is so good! Quality is the main focus here. Well worth the prices.

Pace of play yesterday was horrible. When it’s over 100 with the heat index, 5 1/2 hours for a round is unbearable. One foursome had the course backed up with two to three groups on every tee. You think there was a ranger out keeping things moving — no way! Saw numerous groups just drive off the course and leave. Course management could improve greatly.

Beautiful golf course and resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful. And the golf course is so beautiful and a fun course to play. The hotel is gorgeous.

I attended a mentor/intern lunch here which my company did to say goodbye to it's interns at the Oak. The service here was excellent, the servers were cordial and fun, and service was prompt. The food was good, I ordered a pepper jack chicken sandwich and the cream of crab soup. Very pretty on the inside of the building as well.

Course was in great shape even after the substantial rains we’ve had recently. Great bar, deck, and restaurant to hang out.
The rough was mighty as usual, greens were slow and traps a mess but they get a pass since it had just stopped raining earlier in the morning and couldn’t get mowers out. (We teed off at 9am) Hitting the ball straight is the key to scoring well here. It helps to know the greens too, but that goes without saying.

I was there for an awards banquet for my daughter's swim team. This was our second year there, and the facilities and food were fantastic both years. The wait staff was very professional, and everything was done on time. The view both in and out of the dining hall provided for many great pictures.

The venue was amazing. We were in an outter building for an event. It had glass windows all the way around and you could look out to see the awesome golf course scenery. We didn't really need help during the event from any staff but the ones we encountered were amazingly helpful. I look forward to being there again, and may come back for a round of golf as well!

This place has so much potential, but needs to step up. The golf course is decent, but the cart paths are terrible. Crumbling asphalt. No markers around the green to tell carts where to go, or to stay away from the greens. Driving range is ok, not great, but the putting green is in terrible condition. In Knickers Pub, there are a lot of beer choices, but not high quality (highly rated) beers, and the one I ordered tasted very off — nothing like what was described. The pub itself has great outdoor seating, and, again, tremendous potential, but it seems that they are resting on their laurels. There are other courses to play, and other local pubs and restaurants that are much better.

Rented the Windows Ballroom for my mother's viewing. The staff was exceptionally polite and patient through the entire process. Everything was fully prepared as promised and fulfilled our expectations. I would highly recommend them for any of your social needs.

Knickers Pub
Had the worst experience at this place last night… I agree with some others. The place used to be nice. We waited 50 minutes to be seated outside. But that's not the bad part. It took another hour before we had to speak to the manager. We only ordered 2 appetizers. An hour wait for 2 appetizers? One of which was calamari? Really doesn't take that long. We spoke to the manager and he really didn't seem concerned about the lack of service. And by the way, we left without receiving our food. Highly disappointed! Don't think I'll be spending any money there anytime soon. As we were leaving we saw the manager laughing and joking around with his lackluster staff. Not a good look for such a nice place.

Good staff. We were treated well. The course was in rough shape that week. Had fun though.

Heritage has average food. The deck is amazing to sit at over the summer and on nice days. It looks a lot better since the Knickers remodel. I'll keep going.

They have a great Hall, and good luxury environment. Everything in the hotel is fancy and matches. The tables are set up as a five star dining. The food served in the place was great.

Serenity salon & spa is great! Professional & always clean. Megan is a stylist I've followed for years, the only one I trust. I now drive from Pottstown to York. Peace of mind that my hair is in the right hands. The salon manager Jenn is also very kind & pleasant. Overall great atmosphere, friendly & talented.

Rooms are dated. But everything else is amazing. Great food. Great golf course. Big room. Free breakfast and Wi-Fi. Good price.

My family and I went to Avalanche Express to celebrate my sons birthday. They loved it and truly had a grand time. We ice skated with little success but got laughs watching the children's follies. Overall it was a great evening.

Not a good experience. If you want to take your kids for a hockey tournament, have no rules, party and let your kids run wild and not have to watch them, this is the place for you. If you want to get away and snow tube, enjoy yourself, not have kids running the halls screaming and banging on your door at all hours, and actually be able to park at the hotel, go elsewhere. This place has potential, but poorly managed. We brought issues to to the management, and they not only do not care, but want to loudly argue with you about the issues being acceptable. Not what we expected or were told when we book. For the record, we travel regularly throughout the United States and other countries. We have never had these issues, and never had a management staff this unprofessional. Its a shame, because if it was better managed this 'resort' could actually be a nice place. Definitely a 1 star resort.

We love coming here to tube and to eat. The food is a bit expensive at Knickers, but for each dish we have had it is worth it. The tubing is really fun, especially when the slopes aren't too frozen and you can go down together as groups. As the night progressed and got colder, they had to limit tubers down to 2 because the slopes froze and went much faster. Really fun place, and a great family trip.

I feel like MAJOR upgrading would make it worth coming back to Avalanche Express. Bogeys is great. Could do with a bit of an upgrade, as well, but fun enough to return. Food isn't too bad. We went for the breakfast buffet, once. Might go back for that. Haven't tried other areas of Heritage, yet.

Good food, very clean. Service was mixed. Took a bit at times. I got an appetizer, the waiter tipped the sauce all over everything which was really too much. Instead of offering to correct it, he asked me if I wanted more sauce. I was out on a buisness meeting and didn't want to make a big deal, so I ate it. But it was not great. It made my app too soggy and too tangy. Will not go out of my way to go here again. Prices are also steep even during happy hour.

Stayed for the slopes with another family. The room was nice. And front desk placed us with the other family without a request, in a jointed suite. They were also freidly and attentive. Snow tubing and ice skating was fun for the kids. Great job.

Pretty decent sized room. Quiet and clean. Would stay overnight here again for snow tubing.

The facilities were nice, clean rooms etc. The ice skating was meh, I think it was because the skates were a bit dull. The tubbing hill was fun, though for older kids/adults it looses the fun after a few runs (well, loses excitement. Still pretty fun to just go fast on a tube). Can't speak to the golf courses or mini golf as it's winter though.

Treated very well. The resort is a 5 star place. Clean and organized. Made my event wonderful and I had no worries.

Did the Thanksgiving buffet. Wasn't overly impressed. There's something to be said for unobtrusive service. The kids serving here have no idea what that means.

What beautiful views! We were in the terrace building for an event. The beef tenderloin was wonderful!

Went for a professional event. Convenient location. Very professional. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was good and so was the coffee.

I was only there for dinner. We ate outside. The atmosphere was really nice, and the food was great. The waiter was cool, too. Had a lot of fun!

We ate at Oak. Restaurant. The food was good, but not incredible. My wife had a strawberry mojito that was wonderful. I didn't stray far past standards for mixed drinks. The reason for the low rating was the service. It was as slow as molasses in winter. The staff was clearly unprepared for the quantity of guests being served that night. It took twenty minutes from ordering to receiving our first round of drinks. I will be hesitant to return soon, as I can get equivalent food and drink for a similar price with much better service.

I wrote this two days ago on the knickers page, but that seems to be inactive: Knickers Pub & Grill: Tonight was so disappointing. I have been to your outside patio a few times and have always had a decent meal. Today my husband and I brought our two children out to enjoy the beautiful weather and good food. I was really looking forward to splurging tonight. I ordered the fried pickles and they had so much breading you could not even taste the pickles. Then I ordered the nachos with chicken. They came out cold and the cheese was not even melted at all. Lightly sprinkled on the top but not even warm in the slightest. I asked the server if he could have them heat them and he was very gracious and took them back. Unfortunately it took so long that my husband and son were already finished their meal when it came back out. Eating out with a two year old is a juggling act and having our food together is pretty important. As I was so disappointed with the appetizer and meal I thought surely I would like dessert! I ordered the warm seasonal crisp. This was the peach version which was obviously made from canned peaches with zero taste and had came out freezing cold. If it is a seasonal dessert I would have thought it would have been made with fresh fruit. As I asked the server how it was suppose to be he described a delightful dish that clearly was not mine as it was ice cold right out of the refrigerator. I am sure I ate raw topping.

I had a pleasant experience at Knickers Pub. The weather was great, so we ate outside. Our server Colin was attentive and helpful. Prices were a little high, but that's what you should expect. The food was great, although I didn't like the Old Bay chips. Food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch.

Dropped my girlfriend off to meet some of her friends for drinks at the outside patio bar, was only planning on staying for one but the happy hour specials and venue was so nice I ended up staying until last call! The atmosphere and views are top notch, and our bar tender was competent and accommodating. Bathrooms were immaculate, and the food above average. No complaints, will recommend.

Stayed in a standard suite 300 area was ok. A little dated and limited staff but all around not bad. Book via Google you get cheaper rates.

Good atmosphere. Great place for drinks after work. Good music. During busy times harder to get a server but overall great experience. And good food!

Golf course was nice, not as nice as I expected for the price. Others in the area which are nicer. Service at the restaurants and bars was nearly non existent. Pro shop service was great. The bar service cart attendant was awesome.

Was there for a funeral luncheon. Bartenders were polite and quick, food was tasty, and the location was stunning. I am looking forward to back under better circumstances.

Stopped in for a drink outside with some friends. Good view of the golf course at the center bar. Drinks are priced how you would expect them. Service was good but no beer list or taps outside.

Thisis a fantastic resort. I would highly reccomend staying here.

I have to say I truly enjoyed my stay at this resort, from the food to the golf I was extremely happy with my stay. The golf staff went out of their way to be accommodating even going as far as mailing a golf club cover to me after I had lost it during a round. I would encourage anyone looking to stay at a great resort to choose Heritage Hills. I will be back and look forward to it. Rubin Sanchez.

Course is well maintained and enjoyable. Pro shop staff are friendly. Bars are nice and bartenders are good. Food is always fantastic, servers are almost always stretched too thin and inattentive. The service in the restaurants is something we've come to expect and so we just make sure we have plenty of time before we go to account for it.

This is great venue for every kind of event. I use it mostly for professional meeting. It would be nice if they offered Wi-Fi to those who gather for meetings and not just to those who stay over night. I believe the food is good but over priced.

Attended an event at the ballroom. Food was good, service was great, and the ballroom itself is very nice.

Avalanche Express is a great activity to do with your family in York. Had a lot of fun.

Great place. Very clean rooms, beautiful facilities. I came here for a leadership conference and the staff was very polite and the food was excellent. Highly recommended this place.

Actually just went for a tour for a possible wedding venue. Though it does seem like this will end up being the place! Very excited to hopefully have my wedding here next year.

I've never stayed here, but I am a local photographer who was doing prom photos for a group of kids that were meeting here to eat and wanted to do the photos here. To avoid any issues I visited the hotel prior to the photo session to find out where we would be able to take the photos and not be in the way. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and nice, she showed me all kinds of beautiful places for photos that I would not have even known were there otherwise. She said I could take photos pretty much anywhere, just to be careful of flying golfballs if I'm near the course. She even showed me inside options in case it rained on prom day. I loved the scenery so much I went back and did another photoshoot there later. Lots of different beautiful backgrounds all in one simple location! It's now one of my favorite places in York to shoot.
