Worst experience ever! no ac at 9 pm got new room that had no towels tp and was dirty with pills on floor and trash better off staying at knights inn!

10 STARS IF I COULD I love leaving reviews…especially being early on to leave a review since we literally checked in less than 2 hours ago. I just feel it's so necessary! Desiree and Nicole were extremely polite and very helpful and accommodating! I really appreciated when they offered to bring the extra towels and etc I had requested to our room. These two definitely know what it means to offer customer service! I know that working in the customer service industry these days is a nightmare, so l am thankful and grateful that they both can still manage to make my night better. Great hire manager. They definitely deserve a raise. Too early to leave review for stay. Keep you posted.

Don’t bother trying to go to a SpringHill Suites by Marriott it’s not worth the hassle. I took my family of 7 to one and was told our family was to big for a room with two queen beds and the fold out couch/bed. We had a couple of family members stop to drop off birthday presents for my son. We had to pay for another room because we were told we exceeded the limit of people. So we had to rent another room which we didn’t even enter just so our child’s birthday wasn’t ruined. The Manager at the Butler location was rude in front of and to our guests. Swore in front of our children. The room was nice but wasn’t cleaned before we arrived. The beds were made but there was candy wrappers on the floor. A hairbrush still in the bathroom. And leftovers were still in the fridge. Not a good look for such a new hotel. So sad that my sons birthday was interrupted and almost ruined over this issue. Also there was an even bigger party at this same location the weekend before with more people and nothing was said or done. And that party only had to rent out one room with over ten people staying in it. So sad. I will not be using springhill suites or Marriott services ever again.

Thanks for the perfect experience we couldn’t of asked for a better visit to downtown Pittsburgh! Quick and friendly check in! Clean and comfy rooms! Very nice pool and workout room! Keep up the great work. We will definitely be staying here again!

Don’t like the daily parking fee! A few more hand towels would be nice.

The worst experience ever will not be returning! The day we checked in we seen drug addicts a man pass out on the lobby floor the Sun morning we check out and go outside to wait for our uber and people start shooting! I had little kids with me that were scared to death had we not got a different uber driver we would of been sitting there still in the line of fire! Had a friend tell mr that she knows of people selling drugs out of the hotel which u can clearly see!

I booked this spot because it has a pool… an 4 minutes away from the center…
the pool was dirty, cloudy and over chemical. The smell of clorine. I had to explain this to my 5 yr old that was ready to swim. We couldn't.

I once stayed in a hotel that was built by Helen Keller, the crazy Winchester heir lady, Britney Spears and three chimpanzees and it was better than this Springhill Suites. I would rather light my face on fire and try to extinguish the flames with a pitchfork than stay here again.

Check-in was easy and the parking convenient. (Worth the extra $$ in my opinion. ) It was busy but all of the staff members were super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable! Delivery later in the night was quick. No complaints!

We were very pleased with our room and the friendly staff, but very disappointed though. When I booked the room over the phone no one told me there was a cost for parking. Cause when I asked her what my total would be since there was five of us in a suite and we we're splitting the cost so I could leave everyone know and then at check out it was much more. Even on Google it says parking paid… Don't understand why we would have to pay for parking when we are staying at the hotel.

The stay was perfect to visit Pittsburgh for Picklesburgh! One block from the bridge. And within walking distance to many eating and drinking establishments. We just walked everywhere along the North Shore and even across into Downtown. Oh, and the beds were comfortable which is always a super plus. Our shower faucet was leaky, but whatever not my water bill.

Good service. Respectable free breakfast. Price is average based on location. Parking is 27/night. The hotel is right next to the baseball field.

The rooms were nice and clean. However, Stephanie (who works at the front desk) was who made our stay the best. She is kind, considerate, warm, welcoming, quick, efficient, and one of the sweetest souls we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I hope the managers who read this review will recognize Stephanie for the outstanding customer service & hospitality employee that she is! Tamika is fantastic, too — so bright and cheery! She always had a kind word to say at breakfast! Thank you both for a very pleasant stay!

Room was clean, breakfast was good. The staff very friendly. Great shuttle service. A shame the room was so loud we couldn’t sleep. Highway and train was noisy and heard the elevator running all night. $27 a night for parking was a downer, too.

Cool location, though being more south would be great. Awesome if you're into the Pirates. The A/C is super loud and the shower squeals. Clean rooms and nice view.

I stayed with 3 kids and we all really liked it. My kids liked the pool and the gym. The room is big and clean, everyone was very nice. It has breakfast in the mornings, the ladies serving it are very nice and pleasant to talk to! I would recommend on staying there with or without kids.

About parking: Marriott owns a small parking lot and charges $27 a night right next to it is a parking lot with a $9 daily rate and across the street a parking garage $10 for 24hr both owned by ALCO (I parked in garage). Hotel is walking distance to National Aviary, downtown, a couple museums, and so has a convenient location. Hotel had large rooms they are listed as 425 sq ft, comfy beds and overly clean. Also utilized the pool and found breakfast to have a good selection.

Great downtown hotel, clean rooms, quiet service so you can sleep. Secure but costly parking but for me and my truck it was worth it. Super friendly staff!

Rooms were clean and nice, staff was very friendly. We ran into an issue with the parking charge of $27, but the General Manager Jon was very helpful in resolving the issue.

My rooms toilet was clogged when I got there. Meaning someone else took a dump and the cleaning people didn’t see it. And it was clogged. Then they gave us a new room and we waited 45 mins for sheets for the pull out sofa. We were so tired. We will never stay here Again. Booked a room here for my birthday and I should of just stayed home. My son who is five was the one to discover the over flowing toilet.

It was nice. I was there for a business training meeting. The staff was friendly. Although the room we were in was very hot, and the AC didn't seem to be working. Other than the temperature of the room, everything was good.

Horrible experience at check-in of this hotel. I reserved five rooms under our Marriott rewards account, which is under my wife's name. When I arrived, the front desk staff refused to allow me to check in because our account was in my wife's name. I provided my driver's license to verify the home address on the account AND I provided the credit card on the account which is in my name. Still, I was denied. Horrible customer service. I was told that they were protecting room reservations from being stolen. Really? Someone is going to show up with proper ID and the credit card used to book the rooms? Ridiculous. Eventually, I got the rooms. Then, when I finally got to my room, the door was open! I thought I was walking into a trap. Do not book here.

Great location in downtown Pittsburgh, right next to the pirates baseball field. Room was very large and nice, bed was comfortable. Don't expect much for breakfast though.

This place was absolutely amazing. My family and I stopped on our trip to Niagara falls and the rooms are very clean all the staff was extremely nice. We needed more towels in our room in less than five minutes after I asked for extra towels they were delivered to our door. I highly recommend this place.

The location was great for our trip, breakfast was really good, and the room was nice and clean. It's about what you would expect from a nice establishment like a Marriott. There was a minor fiasco during check in where our boss had booked the rooms with a credit card, but they wanted him in person to authorize the payment… but it got sorted out once he arrived.

Staff was friendly and the hot complimentary breakfast in the morning was very good. I usually avoid eggs at hotels but the eggs at breakfast were surprisingly good! It is extremely close to PNC Park so that was great, especially at night when they were putting on the fireworks. Unfortunately, the fire alarm kept going off and announcing that the elevators should not be used when there was no fire. Also, the curtains in the room were heavily stained and I didn't like that you had to check in prior to being allowed to park because you need a room key to get into the lot.

I recently attended a happy hour downtown with work colleagues. After we stayed at the springhill suites in north shore. I would recommend this hotel because of its prime location and excellent ammenties. It is a quick ride on the T from downtown Pittsburgh while close to bars, restaurants and the stadiums in north shore. The rooms were modern and upscale & service was what you should expect. I will stay there again and recommend it to friends.

They suggested a fantastic place, best pizza and best priced! This hotel is right outside Heinz field! It's was fantastic! I would recommend! Hoping to have a better experience soon. We booked 2 nights in the North Shore location for a family wedding at the beginning of the year prior to knowing where the wedding party would reserve rooms. They chose the same hotel we already booked. I've tried to get the hotel to honor the wedding party rate for my reservation but the hotel cannot honor that rate as it isn't in the block and there are no other rooms available in that block with the special rate. I don't care to be in the block, but was hoping to get the better rate for the room.

Comfortable clean and spacious room, friendly staff. They have a shuttle that will take and pick you up from just about any where within a mile or so. Decent breakfast and restaurant. Right across the street from PNC Park. Highly recommended.

So far, my stay here has been okay. I have no major problems, but a few things are just kind of weird. On the plus side, the hotel is right next to PNG stadium, in a great location for dining and other activities. The beds are comfortable, and there's plenty of space in the room. All of the staff has been really friendly. However, there are stains on my couch, carpet, and walls. Some of the bathroom fixtures are loose, but still functional. The furniture layout is strange, as I can't really see the TV from the either the bed or the sofa. My new towels smelled strongly of maple syrup. I still have a few days left, but unless something goes terribly wrong, I think 3 stars is just about right.

They were very accommodating on getting us on the top floor, with the best city views the rooms offer. How ever my daughter wanted the stadium side, so the manager didn't hesitate to switch rooms to the other side of the building. The rooms were clean. We also liked the "living room" area away from the beds. If your in the mood for great pizza, order from Geno's. They bring it right to your room.

This hotel has a great location with tons of options for food, drinks, and entertainment within walking distance. They also provided a shuttle within a 3 mile radius the weekend that we stayed. They have complimentary breakfast which was good and always kept filled and fresh. The staff was friendly with any questions and requests that we had. I'm a fan of the SpringHill Suite rooms and what they offer but this one could've use a little work (broken lamp, smoke smell in bathroom, malfunctioning TV). Though the room could've used some maintenance it was still a great value and a nice stay.

Very nice rooms and the staff from the front desk to the people at the buffet breakfast are very friendly. Will def come back again. And if you are coming for a Pirates game it's a 10 second walk to the stadium.

We stayed for one evening at the hotel. We selected this property because of its proximity to bars and restaurants in Pittsburgh. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. Price was reasonable for the time of year. Good overall experience.

Rooms are spacious and very clean, breakfast was sufficient. Only con, walls are paper thin and a slight noise interference from highway and trains. The night auditor was very accommodating. Overall, it was a nice stay.

It has become my favorite place to stay and relax. The rooms are spacious and pretty clean. A room can accommodate about 4 adults and two kids. Coffee is available in the lobby 24 hrs. Also, the breakfast is free and full of various dishes and options. The swimming pool is very cozy. Although indoor, it makes you feel relaxed. The location is super. There is a shuttle bus that can take you for free to downtown. If you wanna watch Steelers or Pirates game, you will just walk from the hotel entrance to the arena gate. You will most likely be there in a very short time. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. It is always my first option when I need to stay and spend sometime in Pittsburgh.

The rooms were very clean and updated. The appliances were in great shape. The decor was very pleasant. The staff was extremely helpful and the complimentary shuttle was nice for getting around town. I didn't try the restaurant or bar but it seemed busy with plenty of people from the hotel and locals.

Horrible. Told man upon check in that I was a light sleeper and needed room away from noise, got room on 8th floor next to freeway. Heard every truck downshift and bad muffler that past. Room was freezing and contributed to drafty window. Thermostat was in living area away from window so even on mid70s, it kicked off and room stayed cold. Sofa mattress had 2 urine stains and a blood stain. Toilet stopped up because of poor flush power, Itched all night due to the amount of bleach used on sheets. Parking was $25 for small spaces in a small lot. Maids were loud and slamming everything at 8:30 am. Avoid this place.

The hotel did a great job at maintaining the last visitors hair on the bedsheets at no cost! The carpet in the room also came pre-stained and made walking barefoot a real guessing game! The rooms are built so that noise is constantly penetrating the walls, which makes silence obsolete at times. It also seems some patrons of the hotel have taken it upon themselves to use the hallways as race tracks for their toddlers; how nice of them! For a cheap stay in the area, I'm sure there are worse.

Room was clean, very courteous staff and the shuttle bus was very convenient. Pool was nice and warm. We got room service dessert from Soho and it was excellent! Love the view, as well!

Rooms were clean and the hotel was very convenient for attending a Steelers game. I really appreciated the very helpful staff! They recommended a nearby museum when we had a couple hours to kill before going to the airport and even had the shuttle take us and pick us up. I highly recommend this hotel!
