Thank you for the amazing view from our corner room on the highest floor. We love hotel location as so easy to walk everywhere and so close to Point State Park. We look forward to coming back next time!

Newer Hotel… perfect location. Never disappoints. Customer Service is on point. Stayed here many times and always a pleasant experience. Not a cheap place but we'll worth it! You get what you pay for.

Great hotel located right between PNC Park & Heinz Field! If you're in town for a game, this is the place to stay. The hotel was very clean, the beds were comfortable & the staff were super friendly (special shout out to Dave, our shuttle bus driver, who gave us a lift, late at night, to the Casino for some fun! ). Breakfast was included (between 6:30 am & 9:30 am), standard stuff, but really good (eggs, sausages, waffles etc plus Seattle's Best Coffee). Would stay again if in Pittsburgh!

Our room was nice, clean and adequate. Handy location and van drivers were awesome. Front desk and breakfast staff customer service was lacking. They forgot to tell the van driver to pick us up (nearing the end of can service for the day), were not able to answer questions when asked, and got defensive about complaints — like when the breakfast coffee was twice as strong as any other day. Rather than say "thank you, I will look into that", she insisted it was the same coffee. Perhaps the same brand, but someone made it who didn't know what they were doing. Another day there was no coffee out at the end of breakfast, the hot water for tea was empty — nobody seemed to be checking on things. These items are typically available to guests all day.

I'm currently staying here while I'm taking the bar exam at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. I can't think of a better place for a bar applicant to stay during the exam. The North Shore is far quieter than downtown, but transport to downtown is incredibly easy as the metro (the "T") station is literally across the street. Parking on-site is pricey, but also across the street is a parking deck that is $8 a day, so there are good options. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and provide a lot of great amenities such as a fridge, walk-in shower, den area, etc. If you need to stay somewhere for several days in Pittsburgh, I highly recommend this place.

We booked two rooms on the second floor. Everything was really clean and easily accessible. There was a complimentary breakfast with some basic food and drinks, but I would probably not eat there more than one day in a row. Overall good experience. Very close to some good restaurants, bars, and the sports stadiums. Great location.

So happy with our stay at the Hyatt North Shore for the 4th of July. Location was great, room was great, overall a positive experience. I'd like to suggest that the morning breakfast could be more food allergy friendly. There were very few single serving items (besides the cereal, which was helpful). We'd love to have seen single serve yogurt, milk, and fruit cups as well to allow for our son (and many others) with food allergies to eat a safe breakfast, without fear of cross-contamination with eggs or nuts. Thanks for your consideration, we enjoyed our stay and hope to come back.

Great staff, clean rooms, and free breakfast! The only reason for the star missing is its location and the view. Its right by a major freeway, so light sleepers beware. The view has since been obstructed by a 6 story office building, blocking the view of downtown. However, if you can get over those two, this hotel is in a great location, a quick walk away from downtown Pittsburgh, and located near 2 major sports stadiums!

We went to a Pirates game. This was close. Parking was easy. The lobby and room were clean. The room was larger than expected, and the decor felt updated. We (hopefully) will come to Pittsburgh again, and I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 2 nights for the kenny chesney concert. You could not ask for a friendlier staff! They checked on us periodically while tailgating to make sure we were having a good time. We had several questions and the staff had no issues answering. The free shuttle driven by Dave was a great surprise service.
Keith, the “ house man ” was terrific. Helped with our luggage and always made sure we were happy and having a good time.
The pool was perfect temperature for me (on the warm side) and love that it opens at 6 am.
The breakfast was pleasant, wish they had a few more condiments on the tables. (many tables missing some or none at all)
The only downside was that they were having trouble with the air conditioning, however they did accommodate us with a nice fan to help circulate the cold air that was blowing.
If choosing to stay here, they do charge extra for parking in the Hotel lot, we knew this when we booked the room but it wasn’t till we read the website a few times checking our booking.

We had a very good experience. We went to see the Cubs vs the Pirates. This hotel is centrally located. I wish we'd known how close it was. We wouldn't have paid for parking at the ball park. Its within close walking distance and parking is only $25/night compared to $50+ depending on the time of year. It does not do room service, but several really good Italian restaurants deliver there. The room was spacious and clean, the staff friendly, and there was literally no sound pollution. Great experience!

The hotel is in a great location for the pirates games and casino activities, which the reason we were in town. Very professional, clean and organized. The sleeping area, bathroom, and relaxing area were all great sizes. The price rate was very responsible. Can't wait to come back.

Great location if your staying in town to go to a game. However, many of the rooms (at least floors 3-7 on the west side and north side of the hotel) in the hotel are right next to the freeway ramps and so the noise only lets up during the middle of the night — this is my only complaint about the hotel. We were on the 7th floor and it was noisy — stay on 1, 2 or 3 if you can. Parking is $22 / night with in/out. Hotel is nice, beds comfortable, a good free breakfast.

The Hyatt on North Shore in Pittsburgh is the best hotel to stay at. The staff is very attentive to all your needs. Marcus is the best he works with you on everything you need. Marcus deserves a pay raise because he goes above and beyond what is expected.

The whole place seemed clean, the staff was attentive, breakfast was delicious and the location was great! I was impressed by how everyone seemed to work together during breakfast to keep tables clean and food stocked. Also the front desk staff were friendly and happy to answer questions. Our room was spacious and had a pull out couch which allowed us to spread out further. We'd go back any time! (If you add a hot tub that would be just awesome! )

Rooms are recently renovated. And contrary to other reviews posted here, mine was spotlessly clean. Hotel is located in a great location. The breakfast was adequate.

I reserved the room and asked the operator if it included parking. They told me yes. The reason I asked was because of some of the other reviews I read where other customers said it cost extra. But with being told it was included I oaid s little more than staying elsewhere in Pittsburgh that had free parking. So I didn't think anymore about it and was shocked when my reservation went from $168.50 to over $201.00. I know some of the additional was tax. But to charge more fees on top of more for parking & tax on the parking was not fair to me as a customer. At least be open and honest up front. Don't wait until I show up to shock me. I could have stayed right across the bridge and walked across when I needed to. I know exactly why they do that, to keep you at their location once you've arrived. So you won't go somewhere else. Don't get me wrong. The place is great. Always comfortable and extremely nice. At $168.50 was pushing the limits on price. At $201.00 its robbery. Especially when they lie by ommission.

There is only 1 reason this is a 4 star not 5 star rating. Let me start by saying this hotel is very nice, conveniently located next to things to do on North Shore and minutes from downtown. However when the remodeling crew starts working at 0830 on Sunday morning after St Patrick's day, they lose 1 star maybe they should lose 2. The Mgr did offer us a restitution so I'll be fare.

The room was pretty nice, although I feel for what we paid it could have been a bit tidier and nicer but it is what it is. I really like the shower and the pillows were pretty decent as well. The complaints I have are minor. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, you have to pay to park, which I don't understand if you're already paying how much for the room, and the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything. Overall it was a good experience, though. I would stay there again.

Everything was really nice and clean. Breakfast was great. My only issue was the heater in our room was very loud when it kicked on. I had to turn it off overnight because it would wake me up every time, even with ear plugs.

Great place to stay when going to a Steelers or Pirates game. This hotel is located exactly between the two stadiums. Rooms were clean and comfortable and it's a short walk to food and games. I will definitely stay here again next time I go see the Steelers play.

I normally stay at IHG properties, so I was not accustom to some of their policies. I felt like the cost of the room was overpriced. The price of parking is repugnant. If you're visiting Pittsburgh and don't mind to stay just outside the city, I would suggest that over staying downtown. However, the staff was friendly. They were very accommodating. The room was clean and had decent features. However, it's much smaller than what I receive from IHG. Checking was a bit hectic too.

Hotel was great! Bed was comfortable, shower was of the rare variety where you can easily adjust the temperature. Location was very convenient. My husband's only complaint was that there were no pastries on the breakfast bar (but the rest of the options they had were delicious).

We only stayed for a night and pretty much only slept here. The room was clean, comfy and roomy. The bed was fantastic and the shower was hot! The front desk was awesome and so polite.

Great location near stadiums downtown, river walks, and children's museum. Nicely appointed rooms of decent size. Decent breakfasts, including a hot choice and lactose free alternatives at breakfast. Odd layout to lobby.

Got an amazing deal on this place. Room is nice, big bed and pull out couch. TV swivels so can view from anywhere. Staff are nice but breakfast in morning is hectic and they kept running out of basics (cups, napkins, plates). Be careful of rooms at end of the hall — overlook highway which can be a tad noisy at night.

The location is amazing. It's smack dab in the middle of everything. The night life around the hotel is a hit. The rooms are very clean and overall the hotel gives a nice welcoming feeling. If I ever need to stay in hotel in the city of Pittsburgh this would be the place.
