Great place to stay. Highly recommended.

Besides the gorgeous views from our balcony. Our room is large and well furnished. The couch is perfectly placed to see out the large sliding glass door. A great place to enjoy your morning coffee. We will definitely be coming back!

Amazing. Very clean and owners/staff are awesome. A private beach and rooms with views of the ocean and whales! We will be back regularly.

I almost don’t want to write this review because this hotel is a hidden gem. The owners are amazing and they remember their guests. My husband and I love the immediate sense of peace we feel when we arrive. The views are perfectly breathtaking. I could go on and on. You’ll just have to come and stay.

We loved our stay at this Inn. The room was cozy and warm and well taken care during this Covid time. It was also great to watch the ocean waves crash on the rocks across the bay. Beautiful. Worth every penny in my view.

A few impressive room with amazing amenities in this time of covid. The view is great, but we hope to see more of the coast when the smoke from the fires disappear.

Fabulous location on the cliffs overlooking looking the cove. Such thoughtful management adding special touches in the rooms. They had the room warm and inviting with a basket full of goodies for our dog, great tasting coffee and fresh scones for us.

Steep stairs to ocean cove were scary for me but worth the climb to explore at low tide.

This is the most relaxing place to stay. The new stairs down to their private beach are Amazing! Sue cooks the best pastries around. You won't need to go get breakfast because with the juices, coffee, pastries and hands down best view in their open dinning room area is a "must do"! We own and run a business in Portland and this is our Bat Cave so to speak to go decompress.

Fantastic views from our room of Whales and harbor seals, and a secret beach full of agates secured for guests only! Great coffee and pastry served every morning. We will be back!

Best place to stay on the coast. Excellent attention to all the little details like goat milk soap, in room local coffee and soft towels. They also have a private beach.

We only stayed for 1 night, but it was awesome. Stayed in room and it has the best views for watching the whales!

Lovely place. I come back every year. Quiet — — no screaming kids! Lots of whales out my dining room and living room windows. Wonderful, welcoming staff.

Location and views were excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, was given suggestions on viewpoints. We saw several whales from our room as well as the hotel grounds and surrounding area.

Awesome place to spend time. Jeff and Sue are great people who run the place. They make you feel more then welcome you feel like you're home.

Rooms were really nice. No a/c or fan, only heat available. We left our patio door open all night to have cool air. The ocean was beautiful, but not quite the view we thought we were getting. We were actually facing another bluff, building is situated in a corner. We did enjoy watching the waves crash into the bluff.

We arrived here midday and decided to go on a walk that Jeff, the owner, advised us to after setting our stuff down in the massive and beautifully remodeled Room 1. Walking around we saw the rocky coastline and took some amazing pictures. We didn't have time to do much else in the area but I wish we did, it's an amazing place. Tl;Dr: Stunning views, stunning location, stunning room, definitely would return for a longer amount of time if we could.

Small, as in the rooms are very small and so goes for the bathroom. But very clean, like very clean! I’ve stayed at multiple top notch hotels and etc. This is by far a very clean but small at home feeling. With an amazing view of the Bay. Pet friendly too! I’d come back to stay here.

We stayed here several times, we just love this place Casual and comfortable and just charming The view is seriously stupendous, winter or summer This place is so well maintained. You can tell that the owner/managers love where the are and what they do.

This in hands down one of the BEST places I have stayed in on the Oregon coast. Our room had an outstanding view, it was warm and cozy, very inviting and relaxing. They are pet friendly. The caretakers very sweet people. I'm looking forward to our next visit here.

Stayed here about a year ago with my girlfriend at the time. Had An amazing experience. The view is awesome! Sue and Jeff are the best! Amazing service and always have fresh warm pastries in the morning for breakfast. I'll be headed back next week for a few days alone this time. The management truly makes it feel like you're at home. They make you feel welcome and appreciated. Unlike other locations I've been to in the past. Keep up the good work staff. You guys rock! (Haha see what I did there? )

Great accommodations. Super friendly staff and an "out of this world" view.

Just spent three nights here and loved it! We spent one night here in August and enjoyed it so much we immediately reserved the same suite (#3) for December. Great views of the bay and ocean for whale watching. Older, but well maintained property. Very fast internet (37 mbps download, 18 mbps up). The managers, Sue and Jeff, are excellent hosts. Sue bakes pastries from scratch for breakfast and even made gluten free blueberry muffins for me each day since I have celiac disease. Best gluten free muffins I've ever had! The only drawback was the small shower in our suite, but I'm 6'5", so someone smaller might not find that to be an issue. The property has a perfect location and feels more like home than a hotel. We plan to come back again soon.

Power went out 2 hours before checkout. Couldn't get ready for our day trip and when asked about being compensated I was told The manager would have to call the owner. After multiple unanswered or returned calls I finally get her on the phone and am told the power going out is not their fault so nothing will be done. Not sure how it's our fault. Was told there is no policy in place for if the power goes out. Really? Oregon coast…

Good and bad. The good: immaculately clean room, awesome view, and amazing Jacuzzi bath. The Bad: was told when booking the 350.00 per night penthouse suite that it was pet friendly however when my 81 year old father showed with his toy poodle was promptly told he couldn't stay. Very disappointing since he was looking forward to that tub!

Beautiful, historical Inn. Accommodations are very comfortable and homey. Grounds are perched cliff top looking over the bay. A pod of whales who live (here year round) and enjoy Depoe Bay as much as we do are a treat to spy. Rare to find a special place like this. Rarer still to find an Inn where pride in hospitality shine so bright.

Comfortable, well placed B&B in Depoe Bay with its own private beach. Ideal for whale watching. Walking distance to the town and next door to Ocean Raves restaurant.

I booked this hotel based on the excellent ocean view pictures on their web site. We checked in to room 17 Saturday afternoon. My first reaction was one of total disbelief. The ocean view is non existing. There is a bit of a coastal view directly out of the vindow; however, the ocean view is blocked by another building also belonging to the inn. The Wi-Fi does not work in this room, so the only option is to go to the reception for internet access! Not really usefull when one… has a live stream organised during the night. I had to organise a mobile data connection for this at a cost of $75! We discovered that the drain was partly clogged when we had our shower Sunday morning resulting in the bathtub being very slippery.
I must admit I was totally floored when I was told this had been reported the previous Friday, but they did not want to incur the additional cost to have the plumber attend during the week-end! That is not good enough. I must, however, say that the room itself is well appointed, clean and serviced daily to a high standard. The bed is comfortable with good pillows. I was seriously considering moving to another hotel. Room 17 is not worth the $189/night charged.

We had never stated in Depot Bay, always stop and have lunch of dinner and than stay in Newport. We booked a dog friendly room and they called and let us know our room was available early. What a wonderful surprise, great views. They had a great dog dish, treats and binoculars to watch the whales. They have the best private beach and a great park up the street. The continental breakfast had homemade turnovers that were fresh warm. We will be back soon for storm watching.

This is now my favorite place on the coast! Beautiful views, saw whales from the deck every day. More importantly, owners Jeff & Sue are very welcoming and made our visit special. Will be back often!

My girlfriend and I recently stayed here one night at room while we were touring the coast. We loved it! Kalaloch Lodge was close but we both agreed that this was our favorite stop. I had to talk my girlfriend out of staying here another night as we were on an itinerary and needed to head down to Coos Bay the next day. We slept with the window open listening to the waves with the fireplace going. The staff was very friendly (I think it might be family owned) and the location was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend or a family member.

My two daughters and I stayed here for three nights and we didn't want to leave! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the owner — Jeff — was very accommodating and fun to visit with. We stayed in room and the photos on the website didn't do it justice. It was very large and comfortable, and we spent 90% of our time sitting at the window seat and soaking it all in. We were even lucky enough to see a whale on our last day there! At night, you could hear the waves crashing up on the rocks and it lulled you to sleep. We will definitely return!

This older building, located at the north end of Depoe Bay has been renovated with current amenities. The price was on the higher end of the scale, but we were happy with our stay overall after spending two nights there.

This is a five star review beacuse of the exceptional service, the accomodations, the views, and the feeling that we were somewhere special. My wife and I were joined at the proerity by our best friends, who together, we found the expeience at The Inn at Arch Rock to be exceptional… We will be back! Rick & Lisa.

This might be a 4 star review if we stayed in a different room. We were on a 'driving' vacation down the west coast without reservations. We needed a place to stay and this was the only place we called that could accommodate our family of 4 that night. It was a lot more than we wanted to spend ($350 if I recall correctly) but the room was awesome. The motel itself on a rocky bluff jutting out into the Pacific and our room was the penthouse apartment with 2 BR 2 BA and a kitchen/livingroom with lots of glass overlooking the ocean. There were outdoor balconies/decks on 2 sides with ocean views. And there were 2 awesome coves with massive amounts of sea life and rock scrambling. My kids and I probably spent 5 or 6 hours exploring the coves and we were only there one night.

A great out of the way family style hotel, excellent value for the cost. A true one of a kind setting, view, available options nearby, convenience, and more.

My Wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary in Depoe Bay at the Inn at Arch Rock and everything was absolutely perfect! The room was very clean and comfortable, the view was awesome, and Sue was so friendly and so helpful! We asked Sue several "where do the locals go" type questions and she was spot on ever time! You will not find that type of personal touch from a hotel. The Inn at Arch Rock felt like home to us, thanks Sue and staff for everything!

Fantastic place we were able to whale watch from the balcony in our room. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Loved it.

Attention to detail. The room was large and clean. We were greeted with some sherry to warm us. The fireplace was on. There was a fridge & a microwave in the room. There was s corkscrew for those who might want to have some wine but forgot the opener. It was nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. When we checked in the lady reviewed the breakfast menu with us and walked us to our room. It was pretty much perfect for us.

Details, details, details… Or, lack thereof… I made this reservation through the front desk with the on-site manager. She seemed polite on the phone. When I arrived the room was nice and clean, cozy and the stafff members were super friendly and delightful in every way. There seemed to be one major detail left out when my reservation was made. CONSTRUCTION! More on that later. I walked down the stairs to the private beach access. Very nice! As I walked up the steep stairwell, I noticed a stair that had broke and it was in an extremely horrible spot that could cause injury. I notified staff and they took care of it lckity split. I was in for night two for some seriously needed R & R, when I noticed that the remote did not work for the TV. I was so exhausted I couldnt even get up to change the channel so I retired for the night. When I hit the restroom before bed I noticed the toilet was plugged, and it had been barley used during my stay, as I was out and about. The little information page in the room said "office closes at 6pm-for emergencies call — — — — — — — — Well, I didn't feel it was an emergency, so I just let it go figuring I would deal with it in the morning. Then I woke to a hammering nise coming through my opened bathroom window. I got up, looked outside, and sure enough they were working on a building just 10 feet away. I came here for peace and quiet. I was never told they were under construction.
