Awesome hotel, even better security! We just got back from a 7 night stay at this premiere Waikiki property. The location is excellent. Steps away from Rolex, Gucci, Hermes, Omega, stores and just a block from the world renowned Waikiki beach. The only thing that tops this Hilton is the professional security. I went downstairs one night near midnight to the ABC store downstairs and this homeless person somehow wandered in. Within seconds, yes seconds! A professional security guard very aggressively ejected this trespasser out the front door. This hotel is not only a great place to stay, they also make sure all guests' vacation experience is not disrupted by the local ghetto which I had come to know is not any different than any other major American city. I will definitely recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki and look forward to staying at this and any other Hilton properties.

Ya know. It’s a hotel so I can’t complain that much. Pretty basic rooms with pretty basic views. I’m not complaining but I’m not raving. It does the job and is very convenient. Would I stay here again? Maybe…

Great location, fabulous service, priced fairly. The rooms are clean and mostly quiet. Don't expect much of a view, but this goes for any hotel that isn't directly on the water. The housekeeping staff are great, and like all the staff here they are exceptionally friendly. You can walk almost anywhere from the hotel, and the convenient bus system means a rental car is completely unnecessary. The 3rd floor outdoor pool is shallow and overrun with children, and because it's unheated it's too cold for my wife to be able to get in, but there is plenty of seating in the sun and shade. Like the room balconies, the pool area is noisy with downtown traffic. The hotel restaurant Fire Grill is priced well and offers a great buffet breakfast and an all-day happy hour with a nice selection of food and drinks. The convenience store at street level has most anything you could need. We'll definitely return to this hotel for our next visit.

We met with a group of people whi were guest of the hotel, at the restaurant inside. They had a breakfast buffet that was so delish and even had happy hour. Staff was very nice. The only complaint was the section we were seated due to the size of our party was well lit, but generated a bit too much heat for comfort. Though the staff was gracious enough to adjust the lights a bit to cool the area as best they could. Overall it was a good experience.

Nice spacious room. Separate bath and toilet area. Microwave in the room, coffee bar for your morning first cup of coffee. Spacious closet for your clothes. Right across from the International Market Place. Close to Waikiki Beach about a block.

Hotel attendants were courteous and willing to answer any questions we had. Hotel is conveniently located across from the international market place for quick shopping and dining. The hotel room is interesting with an Asian flare with the sink being in the entryway instead of inside the bathroom with a sliding door. Overall a comfortable stay.

This hotel is a great place to stay in the middle of Waikiki. The rooms are neat and equipped with a fridge/micro which will help you save a bit here. The balconies are a bit small, and from my room facing ugly buildings and strange sites. I still recommend, because Waikiki is for exploring, not sleeping!

It's set up really nicely in a high-rise structure, a lot of the rooms have really nice Lanais. You get off the elevator to an open-air porch, it's just really nice. The rooms have a definite Modern Edge to them and I really like the photography on glass that they used it's very nice to look at. The bathrooms are very modern and nice as well and just cuz I noticed these things there was great water pressure and my hair came out amazing just remember to rinse with cold water. I was in and out in under 14 hours, so I didn't get a chance to eat anything here but there's a ton of really great dining options all around a nice restaurant in the hotel and right across the street is the international marketplace so this is a very very nice place to set yourself up and explore Waikiki for a week. Add a star if you're Diamond Member and you can get yourself an upgrade. My king mini Suite with pull out couch was really nice with a 20-foot Lanai facing the water.

Thank you so much. Our first visit to Hawaii we stayed at your hotel. It was a great experience. All the Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was super fast. This hotel was located in walking distance for everything, beach, restaurants, and lots of shopping and tour trolleys. The only thing was those elevators if your room was close to the elevators you would hear the ding of the elevators reaching your floor all night. The rooms were clean and spacious. Other than that we will definately booking with your hotel when we come back to Hawaii.

The staff is so absolutely wonderful and accommodating, I felt I had made friends there that I wanted to keep in touch with after I was gone. The hotel is located in walking distance from Waikiki beach, a ton of shopping/food plazas and many different bus stops. Very convenient. The beds are super comfortable and they have great blackout curtains! After a day in the sun and the ocean, it felt amazing to sleep well and wake up ready for another day of adventuring.

Fantastic location within walking distance to many attractions and things to do. The hotel is extremely clean with a very friendly staff and a great restaurant attached. The beds could be a little more comfortable but overall I'm very happy with my stay here.

Good hotel, very well located, two blocks from the beach. Cons: lots of waiting on the elevators, hallways noisy, breakfast of poor quality although cheap. Reception staff not friendly.

The hotel is very clean and in a great area, easy walking distance to all major attractions. The only downfall is the elevators. There is always at least one elevator out so many guests end up using the stairs, totally fine as long as you're not on the 18th floor. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant attached is awesome. Special shout out to Sherri for her phenomenal service.

The people who work at Hilton Garden Inn I am very kind and the rooms are comfortable, but I had two cockroaches in our room!

Location in a very lively area, very convenient, downstairs walk a few steps can reach Waikiki Beach, room comfortable with balcony, parking service is very thoughtful, the only drawback is too close to the area, sometimes the early morning will be a bit noisy, breakfast is very common.

The hotel is well located, clean, and modern. The pool is a bit small but not really that big of a deal when you have the beach at about a 5 minute walk. Rooms have safes, microwaves, fridges, and comfy enough beds. Would stay here again.

I always like to stay there — not on the beach but just a couple blocks away and with access to everything Waikiki has to offer. Good restaurant downstairs, decent pool on the third level. If you can grab a room on a higher floor to have a nice view.

It was very good. It has a shop, a restaurant, a swimming pool and a gym. The room is fairly large and comfortable, with a mini refrigerator and an outdoor balcony. It is conveniently located within walking distance to major points of interest. It helped add sweet memories of our O'ahu trip.

The city view was nice and it’s pretty decent but I had so much ants in my room, other than that it was good. The staff was friendly and you can pay for a shuttle to the Airport it’s like $14 a person and every thing is walking distance (shopping, bar and restaurants). It’s a perfect location if you want to be the center of everything.

The location — 5/5 It is a perfect location for shopping, eating, and going to beach. The room size — 4/5 Not too small but there isn't enough space between bed and closet. The room condition — 4/5 It was clean but they missed clean up one-day. I asked to clean it up, but they only gave me new cups, toiletries, towels, and empty garbage cans without changing bed sheets and vacuuming the floor. The view from the room — 1/5 I can see nothing but a dumpster. The front desk service — 5/5 They are kind and smart. The pool condition — 2/5 Too small for the size of this hotel. At the day time lots of kids were playing with their water toys, so there was not much room for an adults. At night time it ended at 10 pm, too early to have a fun in this city. Overall 4.3 is pretty much correct. It has a great location and service, but there are still rooms for improvements.

When we first got to our room there was a urine smell coming from the air conditioner. We called down and they asked to call back. In just a few minutes we had a bellboy there to move us to another room. This room had no bad odors and we were happy with the new room. There is a nice buffet breakfast offered by the restaurant in the hotel. Our bellboy gave us so much information in our short ride to our room his tips were very helpful.

Digital key room choices gave us wrong foom type, took time to get correct room with Honors reservation but staff came through with desired room. Everyone very friendly. Car valets outstanding. Good location not on beach but convenient to everything. Adequate room comfortable beds Enjoying stay so far …

Clean. Neat. Rooms are pretty small. No draws to store clothes to speak of. Housekeeping was good but for some reason they never cleaned the shower. Shower is large enough for two. The attached restaurant was very good. TR Fire and grill. Free coffee in the lobby in the AM. Infused water in the afternoon. The in house tour people were very helpful. Expedia employees. Small shop just off the lobby sold all kinds of items for the traveler. Coffee, full bar. Beer and alcohol to go. Souvenirs. Great location across the street from the International Mall and two blocks from the beach.

Not a clean hotel at all. The rooms / suites are disgusting. The public restrooms are nasty. The management will not own any issues you report to them. After taking the Hilton provided survey I got an email from a manager stating "I want to apologize as the hotel did not go above and beyond the expectations that you've encountered in other Hilton properties. ". WHAT? He apologized that hotel did not go above and beyond the expectations that I encountered in other Hilton… This hotel failed to meet any expectation, in fact not even close to coming close. They put me in a suite that was disgusting. I was not asking the hotel to go above and beyond "my expectations". I expected the hotel to follow the brand standards of the Hilton Garden Inn, I expected a clean suite, I expected the hotel to make good on your shortcomings when I reported it to hotel management. Allow the photos to speak.

Prices are great. Convenient store located at the lobby to grab some food/drinks and alcohol. Little less than a mile away from the beach! Had an ocean view room that was great. Everything extremely modern looking in the room. Had some friends & family that stayed at the Hilton Beach Resort and their suite looked outdated compared to ours at Garden In.

It was very good, it needs a hotub.

This hotel is new. Renovated an old hotel and opened as a HGI a couple months ago. Everything is new. Restaurant on property is not open but Vouchers to breakfast buffet is provided to select guests (some reward members. Diamond for sure, not sure if this includes others). There is a little store off the lobby of the hotel that has a small selection of grocery and hot food. All service employees have been awesome!

Newly renovated. Used to be the ohana west. Everythingis new. Rooms are a bit small but very nice. Fridge, microwave, and a Keurig. No self park. Valet is a bit slow. On site restaurant is not yet open. If you have breakfast included they give certificates for the buffet at dukes.

This Hilton Garden Inn hotel was remodeled from an Ohana hotel. To me it did not meet the typical Hilton standard. The hotel is okay for an overnight stay.

Brand new hotel. Nicely decorated. Centrally located. Service was great. We had an issue with our room (window/balcony was missing the sheer inner curtain) & they switched us out right away so we could continue our stay enjoying the beautiful Hawaii sun without exposing ourselves to the construction crew across the street. Lol. My only 2 complaints are: 1. There was no jacuzzi (not a huge issue though, I would've just liked the option to steam while avoiding the sand) and 2. The gym's cardio room had no elliptical or stair master — just treadmills & low stationary bikes. Overall great hotel for the $.

The hotel itself is nicely decorated. From the lobby to the our room. It mentioned to my family that it was only 4 days old and it is not considered renovated. It was completely redone with every new amenities. The room to me felt high end with a beautiful shower. With a view of one side of the downtown area. I guess we lucked out to book a room here feeling like we were one of the few who even stayed in the room. Lastly kid friendly pool with a full bar even though the beach is a couple blocks away.

Was very impressed with the attention given also by the employee's definitely felt the Aloha spirit.

First room that was assigned to us was not properly cleaned and the phone did not work. Location of hotel is quite central to Waikiki.

Room and bathroom very clean, the bed was very comfortable and above all very large. Only regret the Wi — Fi not available in the rooms. Strongly the next stay.

This hotel is perfect for its price. You get exactly what you paid for, nothing more and nothing less. The only concern I had was with the attitude of the staff. Everyone was friendly with the exception of the housekeeping, my housekeeper was very rude. Other than that, I had a wonderful time. Yes, there is no Wi-Fi, but why would you want it? You're in Hawaii! The absolute worst part: the elevators! Get ready for stairs.

Rude rude rude staff. Ohana West is a great value for the dollar. However the staff at this Hotel is totally and completely rude. I personally witnessed staff standing around talking smack about the guests. Any time I asked for help with very small things I was treated very badly. If you need a place to stay on the cheap, it will work. If you are looking for a hotel with the Aloha spirit then this is NOT the place for you. My recommendation is to spend a few extra bucks and stay elsewhere.

Was shabby and needed work, however the staff were some of the sweetest and most professional staff I've ever come across in Hawaii.

Hi just came back from a 2 week holidays at this hotel, everything was great, good size room, kitchen great, balcony, bathroom, shower, all was perfect. Staff very nice. Very clean room and spacious rooms, comfy beds. If I could would go back this year. Do not read the bad comments it is not true. All is good great location. Trolley pass free. And more. Thanks ohana the cousineau"s from Canada mahalo.

The bathrooms were small and the floors were dirty. I just didn't feel like I was in a hotel. I felt like I was in some cheap motel. I could forgive all of the bad stuff if they had Wi-Fi in the rooms. You could only connect in the lobby and it was slow. Just don't stay here, your Hawaii experience will be destroyed.

This is the strangest hotel I've ever been to. You can't access Wi-Fi in the rooms, only in the lobby (it was slow or hard to connect to on top of it). The rooms were dirty, parking $25 a day. In a space you may not even be able to fit your car into. The staff were anything but friendly. The only good thing about this hotel was the location and the pink line. I'd never stay here again.
