Regular comfort, small type hotel. Plenty of parking space. Took 1 star away for comfort and 1 for breakfast. Quarter mile is a perfect place for breakfast. Waffle house across the road was my choice to fill myself for a day. Room service every day. Broken hair drier in the bathroom and constantly non working access card I would not mentioned. Rail road by the window but never saw or heard a train. Will stop again. Price offered online was sweet enough for my team. Would like to put 4 start, but it will be lie to a future customers. Tons of room for improvement.

The rooms are a typical super 8 … the service is rough but a quiet stay.

Not a bad place to stay. Key cards were a bit tricky at times.

After 1 hour woke up with bug bites over my entire body. Lots of bed bugs. Got a new room. Smelled of smoke. The front desk staff seemed more interested in keeping it quiet.

They gave us a room that was already booked I guess, because there was someone inside when we opened the door and they said it was their room. Kind of awkward, didn't have a problem getting another room though. Kind of felt unsafe for the rest of the stay after that, tbh. The room itself was ok, seemed clean enough. Not much in the way of breakfast. Overall, not terrible, but wouldn't want to stay here again.

If u stay here be aware there is a train that runs here and behind the hotel building. Yes U hear it!

Fulfilled its purpose, a place to go to sleep, clean and economical.

+The room, lobby, etc. Were clean, -However the hot water in the lobby for tea had dirty discharge. -It took longer than necessary for the night attendant to check us in and when I went to check out it in the morning, it turned out I wasn't in the system. +The day attendant was really nice and helpful. She assured me I was only charged once. — (I'm hoping so as she found my bill in room the 3rd floor checkout slot and we stayed in a room in the 1st floor. ) -Finally, the window in our room wasn't fully locked when we got there. +Besides that, the room was warm (thank you for the extra blankets found in the dresser), and the room amenities were in good condition. +The breakfast was white and whole wheat bread, there was a toaster (could use a cleaning… maybe a note to guests to not stain and burn things in it…), the muffins and pastries were delicious and the orange juice tasted good.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, the rooms are a different story. The good: The room was very clean with extra blankets in the drawers under the t. V. Overall the room was comforting. The bad: The AC in our room made loud noises and we eventually just turned it off. The worst part would have to be the mold over the shower, that looked like it was just painted over. Again, overall not a bad room and a great location close to many amenities.

Odd location, no real breakfast, tried to update rooms but still feels skeezy. Smells like smoke in the building and mildew/mold in room. Paint/ water damage in bathroom. If your disabled your stuck on first floor which almost looks like a basement. No elevators. Does have fridge and microwave in room.

The first room wasn't clean. We were told that someone would clean it. We left to eat for over 2 hours, came back and the room still wasn't clean. They gave us a new room which was clean. But there was no TV remote. After going through two remotes they gave me a new in the box remote, that I had to program myself. The morning breakfast was a toaster with either bread or a beagles. The orange juice machine didn't work. Not happy. Would have given a 0 star if that was an option.

I would call this motel a fleabag motel, but I would be insulting the fleas that were living in the room. The TV was at least 20 years old, there was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom, the window (1st floor) would not lock — tried 2 rooms) and the lot-lizards in the parking lot were quite scary. I made sure to empty the rental car when I came in for the night and to empty the room when I went out for the day on my 3 night stay. The staff was clueless and the manager (owner? ) was argumentative when I attempted to get a few issues fixed. The breakfast was non-existent. The parking lot was full of trucks and the shady women who service them and people were sleeping in their cars. If this is indicative of where the Super 8 chain is going, I will never stay at one again. I will be complaining to Priceline about this as that is how I made my reservations for my emergency trip to the area. If I was traveling with my family, I would have not checked into this motel.

Staff was nice. Room was OK for what we paid (about $60). Toilet had an issue flushing (Room 210). We made staff aware of the issue. They said they would handle it. Breakfast wasn't good. Cereal was stale, and dispenser didn't work. Additionally, there wasn't enough of most items.

Non smoking room reeked of smoke. Poorly lit room. Smoke detector open, not sure if it works. Easy to get to if you don't mind the rough road. Free breakfast… Two dollars for a CAN of soda! They offered me another room, but it was worse.

The rooms are good enough to sleep in but not much else. They seem to have many flaws and the clientele are mostly people who look like they are on something. Many people sleeping in their cars in the parking lot… Nice staff though, and quiet.

This hotel is the biggest sh*t show I've ever had to expierence. BED BUGS! Some friends of ours stayed at this hotel a few months back to take a trip to Carowinds. Since we were all going together this time around we decided to book a room here after they'd told us it wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. We booked a Queen smoking room and upon coming in the smell and humidity was awful. Multiple parts of the room are beat up and broken. We decided to just stay overnight and see how it went. Grabbed a candle from Walmart and tried to relax. Didn't get to sleep till around 3/4AM. Being that we were on vacation we didn't think it'd be a problem. I got woken up at 7AM to my boyfriend having a severe allergic reaction. We thought it could have been from our dinner last night. Lots of red splotches, throat swollen and a swollen eye. Lots of Benadryl later the swelling started to go down. Wasted $112 dollars on Carowinds to go for 4 hours and only get on four rides due to his episode. That evening we went downtown for dinner and came back about 2am. Since we knew we didn't have to check out till 11AM the next morning we went to bed late again. After getting an hour of sleep I get woken by him again. He says he's having another allergic reaction. Turns the light on and finds a BED BUG ON HIS PILLOW. I jump out of the bad faster than I should have to at 5:30AM after an hour of sleep and sit in the chair across from the bed.

The hotel was very clean and staff was some of the best and friendliest I've come across. It wasn't a Marriott but it served the purpose and was about five minutes from the amusement park which is what I wanted because we started until it closed.

Me and my fiance and another group of friends stayed in this hotel so we could go to Carowinds for the weekend. When we got in there to get the keys for our room the front desk was is rude as possibly could be. I had already paid for a room over the Internet with a confirmation and a charge through my card not a hold but a actual charge. She tried to tell me that she needed to charge me again I had to actually pull up my banking account information to show that it's been paid for. When I did this is very much upset the woman at the front desk and she turned into a nasty person. We had also paid to have a queen size smoking bedroom. We were supposed to have free Wi-Fi and breakfast. Our room looks like no one has even tried to make her bed and smelt like someone had had a fire in that area of the hotel previously. The pool that was listed to be at this place was closed. This is something we would have liked to have been aware of considering it was summer and we were on vacation. My fiance went down at breakfast to get us something on our stomachs before the journey to Carowinds and their idea of a breakfast was Dry Cereal no milk and watery orange juice. The smoking-room that we had purchased had no ashtrays or anything and they're showing us that we could or could not smoke. Once again the people at the front desk were horrible even the next morning.

Bed bugs and cock roaches dont stay here and odar it stank.

OMG! Please do your self a favor and avoid this horrific place. The rooms are OK. I mean for what it is. Nothing special and a bit dirty but it is what it is. However I stay about 100 nights a year in hotels and I have never been treated this way! I arrived at 1pm asked for 2 rooms. I was told by the nastiest person in the world that they had no availability for the night. The parking lot was empty and it's a hotel I stay in regularly so I checked their Web site and they had plenty of rooms. So I booked 2 and went in and said I had reservations. She then looked mad and said check in time is 3 and I won't check you in until then. I sat patiently in the lobby for 2 hours! The hotel is not worth the wait but I was working close by. At 3pm she started checking me in and when she started to try and explain herself I said let's not talk. It's been a long 2 hours and I'd just like to go to my room. She told me to leave and CALLED THE COPS! If you don't need this after a long day then stay away. The ECONO LODGE is one exit south and it's like the Hilton in comparison and I had a nice conversation with a courteous gentleman at checking. what the he'll is going on at super 8?

Went through orbits check in was for 2 pm. I got there at 2:55 pm an they would not let me check in till 3. Said the rooms were not ready. There was 6 cars in the parking lot. Hope the room is better than the service. Fact Iwill not use orbits again.

This place is the nastiest hotel I've stayed at in yrs! It isn't even worth the $30 plus tax I paid after sucking up 3, 000 Wyndham reward pts. They have a B rating which I didn't know until we got here. Kept trying to look up reviews and more photos before we came too but website kept giving me errors. Finally got it working now that I'm here. I was too tired from being at Carowinds all day to complain and figured all the rooms are going to be the same since it looks like a dump from outside but by the time we checked in it was too late to cancel and get my pts back. The page shows one pic of a newly refurbished room — probably for show. We asked for non smoking — sign on the door says it is — but it reeks so bad of smoke and there are cigarette burns on the nasty carpet and bedding and around the room. The bathroom looks like it wasn't ever cleaned. Didn't notice the dirt in the shower on the wall until I was in the shower. The shower head was broken and couldn't be adjusted to it was on the high spray setting and messed up to the point it sprayed water all over the bathroom. Thin shower curtain isn't water proof so the water just kept spraying all over the toilet and floor the whole time even with it closed. When I got out I noticed even more filth on the back of the toliet and floor as there was now a puddle by that time. Mold on the tiles and in shower and around, missing drain cover on tub and sink.

The hotel was easy to find. The lady at the front desk was very nice even though we checked in after 12am. The room was dirty, stains on the floor, curtains ripped partly down from the window, and the bed was much smaller than I reserved. The shower had no soap or shampoo or any toiletries as well as the handicap bar was just resting in two big wholes in the sides. The breakfast was two types of cereal and a few muffins, juice and coffee. The other guests in the hotel were loud and disrespectful. An hour before checkout a loud bang on the door for housekeeping for the next guest. Overall I would not recommend staying here.

Bed bugs don't stay here.

Motel is clean, doesn't smell and no bugs. It's been freshly redone. For the price, you can't expect Mariott, so it's no right to complain about lack of amenities, services, etc. We liked the place just fine. The only problems we had were that a train came into a spur track one morning around 7:30 and woke us up. The other thing was the b'fast. One of the least exciting breakfasts we've had, and no place to sit. There was only Raisin Bran as Frosted Flakes were gone and only one of us got milk, as it ran out and the "forthcoming" milk never arrived. But, Waffle House is next door, so. Coffee was good, had toast and sweet roll. It was okay. I should add that the guy at the desk was very accommodating, very polite and nice.

I almost always try to book a Super 8 when I'm traveling since I know the quality is outstanding for the price. My fiance and I took a last minute one-night trip to Carowinds and picked this hotel for its proximity. I booked over the phone and specifically requested a non-smoking room, since we both have allergies, but when we arrived to the room, it reeked even though there was a no-smoking sign on the door. I called the front desk and requested a change, and the clerk was apologetic and immediately moved us to the room next door — he even had the key ready for me when I got back to the desk. The new room was just fine, and we had a lovely stay. I am always pleased with the service I get at a Super 8, and the nice clerk at this location reconfirmed this.

Got in after a 7 hour car drive up here the lady behind the counter said its only 2 no check ins till 3 mind u now no one was in the parking lot maybe 3 cars. But I let it go needed to use the restroom while I waited and suprise no restroom in the lobby. She sent me to the waffle house next door. Finally 3 came around and went to check in when I was informed that the cable service was screwed up and they did not know when it would be fixed so no cable no internet. I really wish she would have said something before I sat there for an hour. I left and never stayed thanks front desk girl.
