Solid HI Express experience. If you've stayed at one before and been happy, you won't be disappointed with the Burlington HI Express. Clean & comfortable spacious rooms with a decent light breakfast. Feels and looks relatively new. The fitness center is well stocked with a variety of up to date equipment. The only issue we had was with the temperature of the shower. It was warm but not hot. It seems like the knob was put on so it wouldn't get too hot — it bumps into the shower knob. With only about a quarter turn from off to full hot, you'll not likely have any cold water in the mix. I'd never take a bath — it wouldn't still be warm by the time the tub filled. Probably only needs to have the knob removed and turned a half turn before replacing it so it has more travel.

This hotel was exceptional. Friendly, warm and welcoming. We came in late in the evening without a reservation and were able to get a room. I have a very restricted diet due to an auto immune disease and did not expect to be able to eat breakfast. There was gluten free packaged food on the breakfast bar. I was so impressed. I would definitely stay here again. Wonderful beds, soft pillows, quiet rooms.

Very nice midlevel hotel. Convenient to most attractions in the area. Within sight of the highway, but not right on it.

Accomodations we're good and the cleaning folks did a top notch job. Unfortunately with s pretty full house on Saturday only one person was handling breakfast. As a result, out of eggs, out of biscuits, out of batter for pancakes, etc. Really disappointing since this is not usually the case here. Perhaps this was just a fluke, but disappointing nonetheless.

Just a very pleasant stay and clean and they were very helpful. Very comfy beds and nice rooms overall. Would recommend to others. Near lots of gas and great restaurants too. Helpful staff and the breakfast is top choice.

The staff are great. The hotel is a bit rundown. Still very comfortable and functional though. The rate is very good and I enjoyed my stay.

Why do I keep finding insects in my bed at Holiday Inn Express and Holiday Inn Hotels? First it was Atlanta now it's Burlington North Carolina. As a Spire Elite member who has put a lot of money into this franchise I am very disappointed. I think it might be time to cash in my points and and spend my travel time with Marriott.

If you are going by GPS don't listen. It will tell you to go much farther than the actual hotel. I go for a meeting there regularly, so I don't know about the rooms, but the front desk has always been very kind and friendly. There it's an outback and IHOP within walking distance. Wendy's, chick-fil-a, and several other fast foods within 2 miles.

This hotel is very nice and clean. The rooms were great and the breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel is great, plenty to eat in the area and thing to do. Staff is great and the internet is good enough. Definitely suggest for an overnight stay.

Loved staying here for a flower show in Graham. I needed and early check in and a late check out and they were amazing. Rooms were beautiful, clean, and recently remodeled. Walking distance to several great restaurants… IHOP, Outback, and Mayflower. Would stay again!

Stayed one night on a road trip, checked in at about 10 pm. Staff was great, room was clean, breakfast was really good. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice location, clean rooms, friggin sweet pillows. I checked in later in the evening and only stayed till early morning, so I can't add much else. But I had zero issues.

Clean, confortablr, good breakfast. However we needed a plunger and called all night and no one came. All the people who work there were so lovely.

Very standard hotel. Rooms are slightly smaller than some similar hotels but the accommodations are nice.

Since they allowed semi trucks to park there, there was nowhere to park except way in the back. Did not feel safe. Room was clean and nice. Breakfast was meh.

I should probably cancel my stay… I have an upcoming stay on 6/29-7/2 and I need to get some work done while I'm here. Their website advertises a computer, printer, office supplies, and scanner for their business center. I called to see how much they charge for these "amenities. " The front desk person responds "We don't have a scanner. Just a printer and computer. " I told him that their website says otherwise so he may want to talk to someone to have them take it down. He goes "you have a good day. " and hung up. So much for Southern Hospitality — _-.

The staff was nice and professional and the hotel didn't look at all scary coming in. Our room was really nice and breakfast was delicious. They just need to keep up with the demand of the guests as there were a lot of hot breakfast items missing when we walkes through.

Decent rooms. It's a holiday inn Express so they are almost all about the same. There is an outback steakhouse next door in walking distance but not much else. Easy access from interstate.

Probably one of the best hotel nights I ever had. I am a VERY light sleeper and hear everything. Last night I heard nothing but the occasional fan from the heat/Ac unit. I think the rooms have been designed to absorb sound. The headboard is large and takes up most of the wall… it was a padded headboard and I believe it must block out sounds from neighboring rooms and help absorb sound from your own room. The BED was so comfortable … it was soft and yet firm. Cushioning my joints just right and yet supported the back.

Great price for a very nice and clean room. Free parking and great complementary breakfast with lots of settings which was way above average. Mostly motivated staff. Pool unfortunately very dirty with all smokes sitting around and leaving ash on pavers which ends in pool with the wind blowing.

This is your standard Holiday Inn Express. The location is great and close to lots of food options. The building itself is a bit old, but the decor in the rooms is more modern than most HIExpress locations. The bedding is very comfortable. The water gets as hot as you want it to be. The eating area is very large for the included breakfast. If you've got a large truck and/or a trailer the parking lot is large enough to accommodate work crews and those that need special parking.

Looks a little outdated, otherwise it was ok.

Rooms were clearly antiquated and had small bathrooms. Quality was poor given that door knobs and locks wiggled and the overall construction of the room appeared old. Weak water pressure was more than apparent in the bathroom and the elevator was nearly broken.

Good breakfast, rooms are cozy. Overall good stay.

Very nice hotel the area is sort of run down but not too bad. There are plenty of restaurants around like an Outback steakhouse in the parking lot and a Mayflower in walking distance.

AC units do not have a constant fan setting, unless your forego heating or cooling and run it in the fan only mode. Hard to sleep w/o white noise, especially if there are noisy people in the hotel.

Great service, clean rooms. Bed was a little squeaky though. ;)

Very rude staff! Don't question Whitney. She will tell you you don't have to stay there and hang up. If I was the manager I would want someone representing me like that. Very rude little black girl!

Very clean amazing staff just perfect place to stay.

This hotel is modern, well kept, and spacious. I really enjoyed staying at this holiday inn mostly because of the modern and clean lobby and room. Also, the breakfast area in the morning was well stocked with delicious bread, pancakes, pastries, juice, and lots more. The lobby lounge area was also well decorated with loads of places to sit, read, watch TV, and catch up on email. The room was nice and clean when I arrived and had ample space to layout all my cloths and gear. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, lotion, mouthwash, and soap. The TV in the room was a modern flatscreeen with all the necessary channels. The hallways were clean, well lit, and well cooled (very important in the summer). The pool is a standard pool but it was outside so you can cool down in the heat or suntan on the benches. The workout room was nicely kept and had basic workout machines, 3 TVs, and some fans to keep cool. Overall, this hotel is modern, clean, and enjoyable to stay at. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay here again if I was in the area again. It definitely deserves 5 stars.

Super clean and magnificently decorated. The absolute nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. Top of the line! ;).

Avoid this one. Its not up to holiday inn standards. We booked a king but it showed up in their system as two queens. We were treated as wrong despite our confirmation showing a king. The lock on our room door didnt work and you could open it without a key. Then half the equipment in the breakfast area was just flat out broken.

Would never stay thier again.
