I was here for a family wedding. I was very pleased with the accommodations. Lovely, clean room very comfortable bed. I guess the one negative for me since I’m a senior citizen was a bathtub instead of a walk in shower. I had seen some negative reviews so was a little apprehensive about staying here. But other than that if I was up in the Tarrytown area again I most differently would stay here.

We checked in on Oct. 2nd in the evening and received a luggage cart with a shredded wheel that wouldn’t move. The gentleman at the front desk ignored my struggling and when I made him aware of the faulty cart (as I switched carts) he seemed as though it was inconveniencing him. The room was great, except the tub faucet was coming out of the wall (with wet caulk). When we checked out the morning of the 3rd the gentleman at the front desk was great! He’s the only thing saving this from a 1 star. He was prompt, efficient, friendly, and immediately sent someone to fix the faucet.

Paid a helluva price for a nice suite in this establishment… Room was cozy and had nice extras to make it more home like… Tarrytown is my new ish when I need time away from the BX.

Some house keeping issues but staff are fast to help and everyone has gone over an above including giving us concierge level room and letting us check in our new room at 10am.

Gr8 hotel and courteous staff. Stopped by to charge my Tesla and wanted to use their restrooms. They happily showed me the way.

Was there for Starbucks only. Looks like a nice hotel. Good to see the Tesla station over there!

Decent hotel. Typical setup. When we were here they were doing some minor renovation work in tje lobby but nothing that got in the way. The breakfast was ok and the service was pretty good. I would recommend this place and would stay here again if the need arose.

Great location near major highways and easy to find. Close to Sleepy Hollow attractions. Room was nice, no complaints. One of the elevators was out of service and the other one sounded like it was going to break at any moment. Food in the restaurant for dinner was very good and our waitress was awesome. The restaurant could use a wall between it and the lobby. The lobby could use some updating. Our room was on the club floor which came with free breakfast and appetizers before dinner time. Both good. Only major complaint was a wedding party at night that was being overly loud in the hallway from about 1 til 4am and none came up after a complaint was called down.

Under construction. Avoid because this work has affected the plumbing. No hot water at all in the shower. Staff said we should have told them and they would have accommodated us. I don’t know about others, but we don’t check the shower water temperature when we check in, nor should we have to. When I turn that faucet on, I expect hot water. Don’t explain to me what my options were. When I get up in the morning and have to go, (we only stayed one night). I don’t have time to screw around. Thanks for not comping us and basically shifting the responsibility for your broken down plumbing on to us. Avoid.

This was a very beautiful and very spacious room the bed was so tall and fluffy I felt like a queen! It was a very clean place and I will stay again when in the area. The only reason I would not give it 5 stars is because there was poor customer service at the front desk. The man was not very friendly and I was alone and he did not offer to get anyone to help me with my several bags. Watched me struggle with the luggage cart! I don't think that anyone was available to help me. When I stay in a nice place like this I do expect better service and especially when you are paying a higher price for a nicer room.

I would never stay here again! Terrible management. Card keys kept failing. I had to go to the front desk 5 times because the key for my room would stop working. Many others had the same issue. We had a block of rooms reserved for a wedding. If you weren’t getting charged a much higher rate your room was not ready. Half the guests in our party couldn’t shower or get ready in their own room. One of the guests was told to jump in the pool if they couldn’t shower. My nephew was checked in at 730 am and didn’t get his room until after the wedding at 1130 pm. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Completely mismanaged.

Summary: I paid $200 to wait 35 minutes to check in, and then sleep on the floor… I booked a family room with 2 Queen beds (and requested a cot). Arrived at 1950 — room not ready. 35 minutes sitting in the lobby with two very tired babies later, we get to a room. One bed, and one crib. No apology, and hotel is refusing a refund. Customer service follow ups have been insincere, patronising, and inadequate, when this should have been easy to amicably resolve.

This is a terrible hotel. Outdated and with service that is rock bottom. My first experience here was 2 month ago. Outdated rooms, lots of air drafts from the windows. Food so bad that I actually had to send the plate back. Seemed like I was eating a micro wave that had been left out on the kitchen counter for 2 weeks. Fast forward to tonight. It is 1 am. I have been at the hotel for the past hour. And after 5 trips back to the front desk they still can t get me to my room. This is absolutely unacceptable. And definitely a shame on the sheraton brand.

Where do I start. We reserved a block of rooms for a wedding months in advance. They told us to arrive by 2 pm even though check in was at 3. Upon arrival, our rooms were spread out not together, and we waited over 2 hours for our room to be ready. It was almost 4 pm by the time we were assigned a room and we had a 5 pm rehearsal to be at. Not to mention the construction going on in the lobby. The sound of chopping the tiles carried all the way up to the 2nd floor. The pool was drained out and the gym was disassembled. To make our stay even worse when we checked out we found someone had backed into our vehicle and left not reporting the damage. They could not access their security footage and we were told that they where not responsible. Would never stay at this hotel ever again!

The room we reserved was not ready when we arrived, but the staff were very accommodating and set us up with another room on the Sheraton Club level. This meant we had access to the Club lounge with a complimentary breakfast and beverages. The room was very clean and nicely decorated, and we were very comfortable during our stay.

Awful! Paid extra for a club level… room and beds were smaller than advertised on website, no door knob or toilet paper holder, door lock didn’t work, pool was closed and area was all moldy. Will never stay there again!

Nice Hotel, Good Staff, easy access to Highways. New Managers, hotel is undergoing restaurant renovation. I have used this location many times and have been happy. It remains to be seen what changes are made good or bad.

Extremely spectacular place to go with family and spend unforgettable moments. In addition to doing different kinds of activities. Whether it's business. Conferences. Wedding. Birthday. Baby Shower among others.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I got the included breakfast which was pretty delicious. They have fruit infused ice water and hot apple cider complimentary in the lobby, which was a rally nice touch. The pool and hoot tub were clean and there were towels available. The room was simple but had everything I needed.

Location: In the industrial area. Opposite is a grocery store, around the corner a little Mexican.
The branch of some large companies (BASF and Siemens) is nearby.
Room: The room is spacious. The Windows cannot be opened. There are plenty of storage areas and cupboards. The lighting is poor as usual.
Bed: The mattress was new. I was well located on the bed.
I couldn't sleep because of the volume. See below.
Cleanliness: The visible parts were clean. But I once moved the chair and found it unpleasant.
The bathroom was cleaned on a regular basis. Occasionally the soap was refilled.
It was worse in the hallway. He was almost always dirty. The weekend was not sucked at all. The dirt of two days has accumulated. Very unpleasant.
Volume: a Catastrophe! It is a cheeky thing that is expected of the customer here.
The air conditioner does not turn off and is unbearably noisy. She probably had a bearing damage. At night she goes suddenly and you stand upright in bed. Sleep is not to be thought of.
That seems to be a systematic mistake. I was there with three colleagues and everyone had the same problems. A colleague had the heater off completely and would rather have sat in the cold. In the morning at breakfast the guests were entertained by the noise and exchanged various tips for avoiding noise.
Breakfast: Quite okay, but too expensive. The buffet costs $20 and is quite monotonous.

Not up to Sheraton standards. When we first arrived we were given a room. But when we entered the room, it was already occupied. What a shock for all parties. Had to drag all our stuff back down to the desk. We were assigned another room on a higher floor. The desk person apologized but nothing more. When in the new room, tried to close the shade, but the chain was jammed. Called front desk and someone did come fairly quickly to fix it. The room was nice and the bed comfy. The walls are very thin and could hear kids yelling and running around. The next day we went out for several hours. When we returned to our room, the keys were disabled and we couldn't get in. Another trip down the elevator to the front desk. Again just an apology and our keys were reactivated. Back to our room and it hadn't been cleaned yet. We waited until 3:00 and still had no service. We ended up just getting clean towels ourselves. The combination of these issues detracted from our weekend getaway.

Last time I stayed here the room really looked run-down and some floors were a construction site. This is better now. But: One day there was no housekeeping at all. When I showed up at the counter in the lobby the only thing they could do was to say „I‘m sorry about that. Do you need a fresh towel? “ On other days they forgot to exchange towels and to refill used-up shampoo or tea bags. That’s totally unacceptable for a high-priced 4* hotel. However, the worst thing: The air condition is so noisy at night several guests complained they couldn’t sleep!

Great staff, beautiful hotel, comfortable beds, had a wonderful time up until I walked out to the parking lot and noticed something very unnerving, the American flag in the front is torn and ragged, my father was a Vietnam veteran and my grandfather was a Tuskegee Airman both died for this country, it’s not that difficult to observe the condition of our flag, and when it gets torn, take it down and dispose of it properly, then replace it promptly. Management is apparently to preoccupied to do this. Sad that what was a great experience had to be shadowed by seeing that. Stuart Strode room 416

Had a pretty good experience with them and we’ve been there a couple of times. Both times we couldn’t get into the room with the card key they gave us but then they upgrade us for free to the clubhouse suite. Over all, we didn’t have a bad experience there. Everyone was courteous and professional and strived to please us while we were there. The rooms were always clean and there were plenty of washcloths and towels. We ordered food and had it delivered there with out any hassle. It met our expectations for when we need to go to this part of town. We go here every time we’re in town now.

Great recently renovated hotel. Modern with fantastic heat. P. S. We stayed on the New Years Eve, it was very cold outside. The best rates.

Staff is professional and friendly. My room was a great size, and very clean. The hotel is quite, ideal for a romantic stay or simply to rest. We had the romance package and it was perfect. We strongly recommend this hotel and will stay again, and again. xw.

I stayed here with a wedding party and our experience was nice. We got a slight discount on the rooms since we were part of the wedding. The bar and staff was very accommodating for our after party in the lobby/bar area. They serve Starbucks in the lobby as well which is a nice touch. I sometimes carpool with people and we meet in the parking lot of the adjacent Stop and Shop and it's nice to run in a grab a coffee while I'm waiting. I would stay again next time I need a place in Tarrytown.

I've stayed at this hotel numerous times for work. Unfortunately, this is one of the worst Sheraton I've stayed at. The rooms consistently smell moldy (as evidenced by the dehumidifiers in the rooms) Additionally, management (without fail) will place incorrect room service charges on your bill. This happens consistently to my colleagues as well. Once you call, the charges are removed however the frequency with which this happens indicates either chronic neglect or a purposeful act. I would not recommend staying at this location.

I only give this place one star because the front desk personnel were courteous and professional. When we got to our room after a long day of travel there were no washcloths there and just 2 towels and 2 hand towels for 4 occupants. We called guest services to have someone bring us washcloths and additional towels after 1 hour and no one coming we called back and waited another 30 mins before they arrived, with an attitude and 2 washcloths. With this level of service we thought it best not to order room service or go to the restaurant so this review is purely based on the room and the lack of amenities.

The staffs were friendly and helpful. The room clean and the comfortable bed with the soft pillows that we very pleased to stayed there for 6 days last month. I really appreciate for returning my purse with complete everything of my personal stuff inside of it, when I forgot it on the table outside front of the hotel. Thank you for honestly of the staffs, thank you for smiling when seeing customer coming.! That made me who is living in LA California love Tarrytown New York!

We stayed there for a week, and we were pleased for the stay there. The staff was friendly and professional. The king bed very good with the great pillows. The room clean.

Comfortable, but very high beds. Had to jump up to get on the bed! Didn't like all of the unadvertised "add-on" charges. What was a $175 a night room ended up being a $275 a night room with all of the add-on charges and fees. Transparency with regard to per night room rates would be nice.

Very modern and clean. Full service restaurant and bar in lobby as well as a Starbucks. Staff very friendly. King size room was a great size and the bathroom was very large. A plus is the nice grocery store in the same parking lot. Close to everything in Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Tarrytown. I was pleased with our stay, but one disappointment. The pillows used on the bed were absolutely amazing. Best nights sleep I have in some time and all due to a great pillow. When trying to find out who makes their pillows, I was told that they could not give that information! Really? Why? You would think they would be glad to share that information so someone interested would also buy one! This makes no sense to me whatsoever and sadly I could have been one of those that would have just taken a pillow, but that obviously is not the right thing to do. Always a lovely stay here. If breakfast was included would give 5 stars. Hotel has a gym, pool, & a Starbucks. Conveniently located near a grocery store, liquor store, gas station, and other common travel necessities. Relaxing ambience in the hotel lobby.

We booked here as part of a wedding block. When I called to make the reservation I was assured the hotel was pet friendly, even the email they sent two days before check in says they offer pet beds in the rooms. However we were told upon arrival that the policy had changed a few months ago and this location no longer accepts pets, no exceptions. Even though I mentioned it with our reservation we weren't notified, and had to find somewhere else at the last minute. Reception was very unsympathetic, all we got was a sarcastic "sorry! " and the name of a few other area hotels. Thank goodness one of those had space. We use Sheraton almost exclusively when we travel BECAUSE we can bring our dog. Really disappointing change, and even more so when they don't notify guests.

I stay at this hotel each month for business. Have been staying here for YEARS! The staff is super friendly — and the recent renovations in the rooms are great. They still need to complete renovations in the lobby, restaurant, and the Club Lounge — but looking good! Rooms are clean and very nice. Nice comfy beds. I stay on the Club Level and Nancy is a sweetheart — she gets a lot of regulars and knows them all by name — and runs around taking good care of everyone. Love visiting with her each morning. I look forward to seeing Nancy each visit! Great little breakfast and Starbucks Coffee :) and nice evening snacks in the lounge area. Brian and Sammy in the restaurant/bar are very nice & accommodating and the food is very good most of the time. :) Albania in the restaurant for breakfast always takes good care of me as well. The front desk staff is excellent: Lisa, Quincy, Eddie, and Jamie! So very nice and always help me — even thru snow storms, helping me dig my car out! Thanks to them all for taking such good care of me each and every visit!

I had to get my key replaced four times over a six day stay. There's no free breakfast unless you're in the club level, and the breakfast for club level is none too great, plus it's in a room that's extremely cold. No microwaves in the room. Room service is slow and mediocre. The heater went out and had to be reset during our stay. The tub was clogged and when I pulled the stopper it came out trailing quite a bit of hair. The window shade was broken when I arrived. The lobby was consumed with the overpowering scent of sandalwood, like I was stepping into a head shop. There. Is. No. Ice. Machine. On. The. Club. Level. Floor. Won't be coming back.

I would give zero star. Bed bug! Never come back again. I was in bed about to sleep, a bug on the ceiling crawling and fell on me in the bed! I called front desk immediately, the Hotel front desk on duty came up and killed the bug in my bed. Couldn't sleep afterwards… Horrible experience. This is not a broken light or dirty carpet; We are talking about BED BUGS!

The staff were friendly and courteous, and the room had an amazingly comfortable bed. The club lounge was a little lackluster, with little in the way of appetizers, and a printer station that wouldn't communicate with the computer it was hooked to, but the complimentary refreshments were a nice touch.

Only stopped by here for one night, but it was certainly comfortable and accommodating enough for us. Nice touch is the grocery store down the street.

I met with a prospective client in the lobby and got drinks. The hotel is beautiful and well-appointed, with a great location and nice parking.

The hotel space is nice, albeit a little small. The club lounge is very small and the breakfast and snacks there were so-so. The staff was generally friendly, but slow. We requested a mini fridge, which they said they would send up, but never did. I also inquired about late checkout, and they said they would check and call me back, but never did. The pool and the hot tub were not bad, and the rooms were pretty clean with cozy decor, although there was part of the wallpaper peeling near the ceiling in our room. Pricing was reasonable, and there is a shuttle to bring you around town with a very nice driver named Sean / Shawn.

I've stayed at this place a few times. It's pretty good overall. The restaurant is great. Sometimes, you ask for a mini fridge but it doesn't work. Pool time is until 11PM. Most of the staff is nice.

Location: Perfect distance to the hackle school. Food: Breakfast was great from the downstairs restaurant. Starbucks brew in the room was also very good. Cleanliness: This hotel itself was only somewhat clean. The first room assigned had a odor to it; the next room was cleaner but the trash wasn't emptied upon arrival. The blow dryer in the bathroom was gross and peeling. However, house keeping cleaned the room very well. It was spotless each day after they were finished. Other: The pool was disgusting with feces floating in it and a hot tub that had no water in it. The bathroom has no shower curtain only glass sliding doors. Therefore only one person can use it at a time.

The restaurant had a 30 group wedding party who were loud and unruly… the arrogant staff did ZERO… The room was noisy… wedding party ran up and down the floors all night… Staff did ZERO. My friend asked the staff about coffee,,,,, she received a nasty attitude. Never again… If you decide to book this place… do it online… my room was 115 dollars. Never again.

Service was ok. I booked reservation online on Hotwire. I prepaid it, but still they charged me 5$ for room rent — (I don't know what it is) and didn't ask anything for deposit of 50$ (just deducted 50$ from my account) To ask what is 50$ charge, they put me twice for 20 minutes hold. Just felt like they are ignoring call, Bad service — never recommend to any one.

I feel like I was the victim of a practical joke. Pros: The beds are very soft and comfortable. Cons: The staff here are smug and condescending. Our first night we requested a pick-up from the hotel shuttle at the White Plains train station which is within 5 miles from the hotel. They sent their shuttle to the Tarrytown train station and it was almost an hour before we were picked up. And that was after a long hot day in NYC with my infant daughter needing to be put to bed. They later said that they don't normally do shuttle pick-ups/drop-offs to the White Plains train station, even though it is under 5 miles away and that's what their website advertises. And this was after them explaining away their mistake from the night before as understandable due to half of their shuttle service going to the Tarrytown train station. Well then that means the other half goes to White Plains. When we called (well in advance) for a shuttle pick-up on the second night, we had to wait a half-hour for the shuttle to show up. It's probably because the shuttle driver had no idea what he was doing and got lost multiple times on the way back and refused to get on the freeway. We requested a pack-n-play with our reservation, but they claimed they were all being used. When I pressed them on it, however, they were somehow able to come up with one. The A/C stopped working in our room one night. They sent up the maintenance guy, but he had no idea what he was doing.

We used the Tarrytown Sheraton for our wedding weekend. We arranged our block through Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks and got a good rate and a decent amount of rooms in the block. Rooms and suites were very nice, as expected. They were flexible with room assignments as our friends and family checked in, which worked out very well. We had a lot of people coming in and out, and a lot of the typical wedding commotion throughout the weekend. Many of us were at the hotel bar, the outdoor patios, and in the lobby throughout the night-time hours and the hotel never gave us a problem, which I was impressed with and greatful for. It was also very convenient for our group that the supermarket plaza was right next door; came in handy several times throughout the weekend. All in all, very glad we stayed here over our wedding weekend.

I got to the room and it was a little on the worn down side and did not have a safe, which was OK. What I found unacceptable were 2 inoperable lights in the room. I called to have both bulbs replaced immediately at time of checking in only to wait a little over an hour until I had to call again to remind them all the while postponing my dinner. Upon my return back to the hotel hours later, after 11:00 PM I found only one of the two lights replaced! I called guest services again and they said they were going to check if they had any more bulbs!? I'm a platinum member at another hotel chain and did not see this coming as I was not expecting such subpar, overall unresponsive and dismal service from this particular chain, I was expecting a pleasant and uneventful stay, I was wrong! The hotel was not busy, so it must have been a kick back day or maybe they just didn't care? Well I did, and here you have it.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well maintained. However the whirlpool rooms are not worth the extra money. The room has a linear design that isolates the tub.

I stayed here for work, on the club level. The service was great. The staff was friendly and on point. While spending several months traveling, staying in hotels, this hotel stood out as an exemplary display how I like to see a hotel operate. I did enjoy seeing attention to detail in the rooms, from the overall layout, to the fact that they have waste as well as recycling baskets, showing at least some environmental awareness. The next time I am in the area I will stay there again.

We are SPG gold members and received extremely good service. I requested a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries delivered to my room prior to arrival as a surprise for my anniversary and they delivered. It was waiting for us in the room and check in excellent. The club level breakfast is basic but provides what you need for the morning and the girl working was pleasant to speak with. Rooms were comfortable and clean and hotel is a great choice. We are regular travelers too.
