Our room was very basic but for the price, adequate. Cost for all days was paid upfront although was tacked at the end of our stay $30/day for amenities. Continental Breakfast = 2 small coffees& a muffin $10 (but it is Manhattan). Staff was friendly although the lady at the breakfast room made sure I knew this was not free. Location is great right in the middle of the action. Edit: To be fair I up to four stars as It was above average.

Very good location, steps away from times square. The rooms are adequate when put against other New York standards. Small but practical. There is no amazing view and no amenities bar the very basics. Over all you could do much worse. Would recommend.

Nice rooms, clean with a large safe. Ironing Board, iron, hairdryer, large bathroom (no bathtub) with non-separate WC.
Reassuring point, access to the floors is filtered by a security guard.
Only negative point, for me is that the proximity of theaters, clubs and time square, generates noise at night. In contrast, its location is perfect to enjoy it fully. In addition, the tour buses are a few metres from the hotel.
Finally, at the corner of the street, you have a "ready to eat" which allows French lunch (coffee correct, croissants, chocolate bread…).
Anyway, if I go back to New York, this hotel will be my point of fall.

I have stayed her over 12 times and recommended it many times. It has a cool vibe, great Wife, and exercise room, and lobby. There are many hidden fees, and I paid their top dollar, for my rooms. The breakfast buffet is very good worth the $20. The first few times they included it with my stay, I would actually come back if it was included and I could get the price you see on the internet, but it is always around $300 a night when I go with the extra fees on top. The pizza place next door is great, and has salads. Make sure not to book the Broadway suite it is a closet, and don't book near the street noise. I get the two beds in the room, and then the room is much larger.

Extremely small room. No paper Guide for tourists in the lobby. The jacks were super nice and sympathetic. Room very noisy, surprising to be so close to time square.

The rooms were small but still functional. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. The dim hallways felt… Swanky. This hotel is close to everything in midtown. I loved that I walked outside I felt like I was in the heart of New York. I had a great experience, cleanliness was just fine. Prices were WAY good.

For the price and location, it's great! Clean and comfortable, but small. My wife was surprised there wasn't a counter in the bathroom, and she didn't like the "citrus" smell of the soap. Spend the extra couple bucks for the breakfast coupon. If you're coming from the airport, take the subway. It's like 3 blocks away, much quicker, and much less expensive. Unless you have too much luggage to stack and roll.

Despite the negative reviews I have QD even chose this hotel compared to the location in full time square. I do not regret at all clean housekeeping room made every day ect. So the negative reviews this hotel does not deserve it at all. In any case this only commits me I was very satisfied with this hotel.

I had a terrific experience at Paramount Hotel. The location is amazing, right in the heart of Times Square and around the corner from Broadway. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The service I received was top notch from my check in to my check out. Everything was easy and efficient. The value at Paramount is outstanding and you’d be hard pressed to find any other hotel in the city comparable at this price point. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be sure to return to Paramount the next time I’m in NYC.

This hotel is nothing like the pictures! Cracks in the wall, carpet is disgusting and the room smells! Please take your money elsewhere! False advertisement at its finest! I have emailed them and still heard nothing from them. It took two days for room service to come but the day of my checkout they were there at 9am! There are other hotels in the same vicinity that are much nicer! Also fees that you are not told about upfront are taken from your account! I did not sign or authorize and was not even told about them! Please do not go here!

Lousy check in service. Hidden collection and deception as they charge extra for use of spaces as Lobby, also to the income say that the phone calls are free and then appear as part of this extra charge of $30 a day.

Terrible hotel. Restaurant and bar are shut down. No room service. Probably the WORST customer service I've ever experienced. I had a complaint and the hotel services HUNG UP ON ME. The bed took up the entire room. Ruined my time square experience. For $800 for 3 nights I expect to at least be treated kindly. Numerous upset guests with NO MANAGER to speak with. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE! Happy hunting!

Great access to all the theaters (walking distance). The hotel it self was nice. Kept clean and well staffed. But there was No buckets for 2 days. So you had to use bags for Ice. The halls and lobby are very dark. Sometimes the hall ways gave me that shinning feeling. But all in all my sister and I enjoyed our stay, and would stay there again.

Hotel located right on the Broadway, its location is ideal… close to all the fashionable businesses, with great variety of places to eat all kinds of food and not to say the offer of shows.
This hotel dating back to 1928 was conceived as a boutique hotel for those people who made spectacle Tours today, some of their places like breakfast, are in the process of renovation… it is clean and its staff attentive the rooms do not have Minibar and coffee maker, are small and comfortable a good option if the priority is the location.

Great location and a nice hotel for the time you spend in it. Our room was very small for a double as you could only get on the bed from two sides as it was up against the wall. The temp in the room was 27c on the display and when we tried to cool it down it just blew warm air so we opened a window and put my boot under to keep it open. Much better aircon. Not complaining but just telling it as it was for us. A good crash n dash, no coffee, no bar but it's right outside in the street.

The only good thing is the location, the attention is bad and the rooms are small and dirty. Our room had the bathroom mirror dirty of blood and the carpet full of dirt, we did queue hours to check in and check out and waited 5 hours at reception to be moved room.

Hotel is well situated in the heart theatre district and Times Square and only a short distance from the Port Authority bus depot which has links to all airports. Lobby certainly has that wow factor when you walk in, if not a little dark. Room was fairly minimal with not much in the way of closet space but freshly decorated and spotlessly clean. Bathroom also. Staff were very courteous and very eager to help with any enquiry.

Unfortunately, the 3 star rooms are not in good condition. The location is perfect. It is a 1 minute walk to the Timesquare. Service is also good.

The hotel room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was always hot. Let the water run a bit before you get in to warm up all the way and you'll be fine. Quiet for the location. Conveniently located to just about everything. No coffee in the room. Cafe downstairs opens at 6am. Very nice staff. I'd stay here again.

The location is amazing. Right outside the door of the hotel is one of the tour buses (big red bus I think) which was so handy as it gives a tour of all the sites you want to see. Would recommend taking the bus early into your trip as it gives you a great sense of the city. Didn't eat in the hotel restaurant but the coffee shop connected to the hotel does amazing croissants and coffee for breakfast. The pizza place a door or two up does amazing pizza slices when you just want to grab something on the go or when you get back to the hotel. The room had everything we needed and was decent enough for us in winter, would imagine it can get very warm in summer. The air con/ heating was a bit tempermental. If you are a light sleeper I'd recommend ear plugs for the new York traffic at night (recommended for any hotel in NYC)

Cheap Hotel in Manhattan. Super close to Times Square walking you get everywhere. You exercise and enjoy the wonderfulness of the place. The rooms have everything to be able to rest.

They are sold as a 4 star hotel and are not even close, they publish photos of rooms that are not what they give. The rooms are very very small, they said I would block 50 dollars in concept of deposit, ask 2 or 3 times if I were going to conbrar something and they said no, but on leaving I charged 34 dollars per day resort fee. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. When I complain about the room I was told that I would go to a bigger and I dieorn an exactly the same with a bed a little bigger, step from a square to square and a half in the same room size could not have the suitcase open XQ did not enter.

The hotel is remodeled aesthetically to new but the rooms were in the past. At the level of the room, the rooms are very comfortable and the rooms are very well maintained. The bad: my heating (15th century or so) did not work, you set it to a temperature and nothing, the air if (but with 2 degrees for that I want). It has no fridge or minibar and a single ice machine on the 4th floor for a hotel with 19. The bath, leaves everything to be desired; The only positive point is that it is for people with reduced mobility but it is completely old. Following with the bad: there is a desk where to use a notebook or eat something and the bed is very small, is more a single bed than a matrimonial. Now, we go to the good: the Internet is very fast, the lobby is very nice to stay working, the cleanliness is excellent and very fast, this incredibly well located if you want to be stuck to Times Square. Anyway, so I don't know if I'll come back. The rooms are noticed that the remodeled in haste, coats of paint on moisture and swollen wood (see photos)

Very well located. Sorry Q when you cook in front of the Marriot to leave a package at FedEx I didn't want to go back. Visit the Marriott and have a coffee at Starbucks. He's got movies. It is a city in a building… I saw the best elevators in my life. All in series and synchronized more than 10 in a half circle rise in seconds more than 30 floors t you see everything from the glass cabins! Beautiful x where you look luxurious and ectravagante there are people of jetset Neworkino!

Very decent hotel for New York. The rooms are nice, though a little small. The restaurant is good but too expensive. Attention however to the continual noise in this district.

Booked to stay 4 nights at this hotel last week and after reading some of the reviews I was a little concerned. The staff were very pleasant and we were allowed to check in 2.5 hours early. I had upgraded to the superior queen room which I felt was adequate in size and style for my daughter and I. Clean towels and bed linen daily if required. Lobby is stunning. Location of hotel you just can't beat, a 2 minute walk from times square. I will definitely return to the Paramount Hotel next time I'm in New York.

This hotel has an excellent location for visiting around Times Square and doing the tourism thing. The hotel has wonderful friendly staff. It's beautiful on the outside, in the lobby and bar. But I have to say the rooms need some serious help. Some updating would do wonders! Our room had plaster falling from above the window and a very musty smell every time you walk in. Considering we only used the room to store our things and sleep in, it was worth the trade off!

Very big disappointment for me with this hotel the cleanliness was really absent and I am not talking about the permanent noise due to a very bad soundproofing. The only good thing and the staff very friendly and always available.

Stay June 2017. Positive aspects: Centrally located a few meters from TS. Very clean and friendly staff. Downside: Price. Let me explain, Booking gave us a price, on the spot we were given two more higher prices, we pointed out the discrepancy (200 euros more) between the site and them and at the end seemed all sorted out. Guess what they charged us on the card?!?!? The highest one.

We booked one night from Wednesday to Thursday. The lobby was packed when we arrived and waited awhile to get checked in. Our room was located in the corner of the hallway. The room is small — just enough space for a king bed and a small desk. Bathroom was decent but the toilet was tucked next to the radiator so you end up sitting sideways. The room has a thermostat so we were able to adjust the temp. It's not the most updated room but it served its purpose and it was clean. The bar/restaurant downstairs was great — good atmosphere and bartenders were very attentive. We didn't try the food but drinks were well made. Lots of seating options whether you're with a family or just a couple. They also can hold your luggage but for a small fee.

The rooms had just enough room for the space we needed as two young people staying for a week in New York and we really enjoyed our stay. The bathroom looked nice and was fully functional for our needs. We were told we would need to upgrade upon arrival despite our request for a room for two adults and were charged an extra $97 for the upgrade which was a mild inconvenience. The front desk clerk was awkward and impolite but the housekeepers were friendly and helpful and did their job well during our stay. Between 1130am and 4pm the front lobby appears to get more and more busy and can be difficult to maneuver through as check in isn't until 4pm.

Great Location Staff was friendly, rooms are as expected, nice and clean. I been to few hotels in NYC and this is one of my favorites so far. If you need a quick workout there's a gym in the hotel. Which is nice and you can get a nice workout done. Entrance and hotel theme was great. The bar at the hotel was decent. If you want some quiet time there's a nice reading area. Overall I like this hotel. Any time I visit NYC this will be the hotel I'll be staying.

It's affordable and in the area of Times Square. Walls are thin even the bathroom walls. There's a long wait using the elevators because foreigners and tourists don't know how to use one. Service is great, always cleaned our and it looks clean. Bring insect bug spray like RAID the rooms have mosquitoes.

Hotel with good value for money.
The staff is not very friendly but you can go get a pizza or something and eat quietly in the hotel lobby.
The rooms are not very comfortable but it is normal in new York.
The location is on the other hand very advantageous!

The location of this hotel can't be beaten. When you then can get a reasonably priced room where you can walk across the street to see Hamilton you have a winner. The rooms are small but nicely renovated with a cozy contemporary feel to them. Good service and an lobby tops it off.

We stayed here and had a great time, from other reviews seems like some of the rooms are small, the room we stayed in was the entertainment suite which was more like a small apartment then a room. It even had 3 full bathrooms! Had a great time for sure, the hotel even brought complimentary champagne and chocolate covered strawberries.

Acceptable Hotel. But in reception little help and hard to find that speak Spanish. When you get out they charge you everything they do not tell you do not explain before. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Although they wanted to change rooms for a smaller one at the end we were in the same.

Terrible. The only positive thing is the location. You have to queue for half an hour to register, and that's terrible when people come tired of a trip. This is because there are four places to register but there are only two employees. I imagine that the hotel does not hire all the necessary staff to save the money, no matter the inconvenience of the guests. The worst thing was the room service. On the second day I didn't get a new soap, they didn't clean the bathroom, the toilet was very dirty, and they laid the bed halfway. The bed is minimal, I told them it looked like a single room because in fact there was only one night table. But they did not care and left me there. We slept very uncomfortable.

Best location, best impossible. The rooms are small (as you can expect in Manhattan), but these I think are even more so. In a room with two beds of 1, 35 we practically did not fit our suitcases. The closet looks more like a escobero RN elnque it doesn't fit anything and the small toilet, but Ok. There is a lot of difference between the lobby (with luxurious appearance) with the rooms, which require a renovation (windows that close badly, air conditioning that works regularly). I don't hav mini bar in the room either. You pay for the site.

Great location in Times square We stayed here for 5 nights in April 2017 and loved the location. Less than a minutes walk to the central area in times square. About 2 minutes walk to the subway. It's close to the cinemas, Madame Tussauds, to bus tours, loads of restaurants and fast foods. Loved, loved, loved! We felt safe walking around at midnight as there are loads of tourists. It's also super close to all the Broadway theaters​. Hamilton is showing at the theatre across the street. The concierge was super helpful, check in and check out was seamless with the front desk. We even used their drivers to take us to the airport (cost $72). We had an Amazon package delivered to the hotel — they charged a $10 dollar fee for handling. Hotel was clean and has a good gym. Only con was the size of the room, it was tiny for the price we paid! Had no bar fridge, only 1 bedside table and​ double bed. Overall it was a great place to stay at for my first visit to NYC.

Hotel in the center very close to Times Square (2minuti walk), very small room, bathroom just as well and little cared for. A slight renovation would be necessary.

Excellent attention from staff of employees! At our request we were moved to room at no cost! For the location of the same its price is very accessible.

My stay at the Paramount hotel has been quite convenient. There's a nice bakery / breakfast location downstairs in the lobby (which, itself, looks very nice). The location, for the price, is perfect. A few blocks away from Time Square, so there's plenty to do. The room was clean, if but a little small.

It is Manhattan, so small over prized rooms expected, but there should be no excuse for over heating room with air conditioner that breaks down more than a Ford and bath room door that can't properly close without getting stuck!. Everything over prized based on what u get. Still in hotel and ask to be moved. Night manager just flat out refuse because their system is down. MY advice run and don't look back. You will regret staying here!

I was here six years ago. Has changed. L found it lower than the quality. But it has a great location to stay in New York. I would go back it was only for this aspect.

Considering what I was doing (going to see a high demand play across the street), the location was great. The price was great and the staff was perfectly pleasant and professional. The on-site bar & grill were great and I had very little problems. Problems that I did have included my room's A/C going bad during the middle of the day and sleeping in 77 degree temperatures. That isn't the end of the world, but it's not what I've come to expect from hotel visits. For the record, the same thing (on the same night) happened to a co-worker I was traveling with in the same hotel and they relocated him to a different room when he said something. I wasn't back in my room until midnight, so by that point I didn't want to raise a fuss about my room.

Seeing the lobby you expect a bit more from the rooms. Saying small is say the least. Worth the location.

The location and service are perfect. It's very close to Times Square so it's really well located. The room we have is clean but very small.

The entrance as well as the front of the hotel are extremely luxurious but what a disappointment when arriving in the room! The rooms are all small, there is no storage, the AC is old and made extremely noisy. The bathroom is very small with toilets as powerful as those of an airplane (so thanks to the noise at night). The bathtub is flaky. Finally, the only positive thing about the hotel and that is surely the one for which people choose this hotel is its location in the heart of Manhattan, which overlooks Times Square.

We stayed at this hotel from 13 to 19 August 2017, the room was really small with a bed from a square and a half, definitely its strong point (so I recommend it) is the proximity to Time Square… No more than 2 minutes walk.

Right next to Times Square and close to the train station. The interior was even better than the outside. The lobby was dark and ambiance was classy. It was definitely upscale. The room was solid with a TV, comfy bed, and nice bath/shower. The cleaning people were so pleasant. They were not pushy to clean your room but rather they cared for your personal needs (towels/trash/bed). Overall great experience. Also, they have a gym which was really nice for an avid gym guy on vacation who eats $1 pizza walking around NY.

That's a good check-in spot at a happening place! Somewhat dark once you enter the hotel. All cramped-up. Crowded at peak hours. Hospitality was not so good. We checked-in early as we came in from Ohio and were tired. But they did not let us check-in before their check-in time. We had to roam about the nearby place to pass our time. They let us keep our baggage for a minimal cost though. Did not stay much, just 2 nights. Rooms are small. They are good to just keep your luggage and roam about the place. Overall OK place to be.

The hotel is conveniently located a hundred metres from Times Square.
Its lounge atmosphere is very nice.
