Apparently the rooms are noisy. Security just came to the door to tell us to quiet down while we were eating dinner. We have door that adjoins to the next room which is great if needed. But when it’s not needed you can literally hear the people in the next room carrying on a conversation. We were able to overlook it. Our neighbors were apparently not. So fyi if you can’t handle a little noise from the room next door don’t stay here!

The room was not clean when I checked in, and nobody showed up to clean it the entirety of my stay even after I asked. Reception never answered the phone, nor did the concierge, nor did maintenance. The location is great but EVErYTHING else was a huge disappointment. Definitely do not recommend. So sad we thought they would be such a treat for the weekend but it is so loud in the hotel we got zero sleep.

Paid $600 for security deposit on 2 rooms then resort fees was to be taking of at check-out and the rest to be refunded over 6 weeks no refund and not answering any emails and would probably cost more to phone them from Ireland.

Stayed here in April and we can’t wait to go back. Amazing service, clean rooms 5 🌟

Wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Everything was so poor about it apart from location. Views were awful, room wasn’t very nice. Staff weren’t very helpful apart from the help desk to book attractions etc. Food wasn’t nice. Took us over 3 hours to check in. Not worth the money.

First the location was excellent. It is a minute from Time Square. And close to everything. However I hope we just got the worst room in the building. If not then I would advise all to stay away. The room was very small. But it's NYC so I can understand. But the room is in poor shape. The room for the most part was clean but very old. The carpet seems like it's 40 years old and not attached to the transition toward the bathroom. The bathroom was extremely disappointed. It looks like it should be in a cheap motel room. There is a pipe with insulation on the outside of the wall. The tiles are old, there are holes in the walls where they hung things previously. Cheap old light fixtures. As mentioned the room is small. There is only 1 nightstand so one person is without a nightstand. The view was the window of the other tenant. If this was an Econolodge, than I can accept it. But for the price we paid it was very disappointing.

I booked 3 rooms this hotel, and for 2 of the rooms they double charged my card for a total of almost $3600. So the hotel left me with a little over $1000 for a family of 6 for 4 days. The management just told me over and over again they are trying to figure it out. Meanwhile we are having to cut things on our trip because they have our funds tied up. So far they have not returned our funds or made an effort to make it right. Highly would not recommend them.

Read reviews on this hotel before we came and was expecting the worst if I’m honest. We arrived on Monday for 10 days, every member of staff we’ve seen or spoken to so far have been very polite. Our room is a classic room and it’s just the right size for the two of us. It feels really homely. Our heater stopped working tonight, we went down to reception the man at the desk was again very friendly and within 10 minutes our heater was working fine again. The hotel is in a great location! there’s literally nothing I can complain about. You need to show your card to security before you can use the elevators also which made me feel safe. The cleaners are amazing too! We’ve been tipping them $10 every time and they honestly can’t say thank you enough. There’s this one lady I didn’t get her name that actually waited about on our floor for us just to say thank you. We’d definitely stay here again.

Stay far from this hotel, they have very sloppy billing and accounting. This hotel has tried swindling me of my money. We booked this hotel in early 2022, and had to cancel. The cancel confirmation is attached to this review. On April 12, I called again to confirm our reservation was indeed cancelled, and the front desk verified. On April 13, I was charged a $585 no show fee, and their department is denying the PROOF that I have that it was cancelled! (You can see their response attached as well) I am hoping they will correct this terrible lack of business etiquette, and if they don’t, I will be sure to escalate it to the highest levels with NYS.

NYFW hiTechMODA continues to return this hotel. In the Heart of NYC, but at the Hotel Edison you are treated like family! They care about their travelers and guests. I have stayed in MANY hotels in NYC and this is the best! Come to NYC and be greeted by family who care about you. I would not recommend any other hotel. Amazing service, Thank you Marcos for making our stay so pleasant. The staff was very helpful and kind. The renovated room on the 19th floor was nice and clean. Breakfast was good. The hotel has a great location. We will definitely be back.

Great hotel with a special for breakfast at Bond 45

Old worn out, dirty room. Poor customer service. Could not check out on the tv. Checked out line was outrageously long. The elevator attendants only were pleasant to higher numbered rooms. 3rd floor was noisy. Dirty windows, scaffolding and nonexistent ac. Towels were not provided. No bath mat. Loose change on floor of closet which wasn’t ours so never cleaned. The light switch in bathroom had built up dirt. On last morning as we were getting ready to check out the maintenance and security banged on our door. I was in the shower and the do not disturb sign was on the door. They demanded to fix a fire alarm that “someone tampered with prior to us checking in”. This place is a dump. If you check-in make sure you get a higher floor. Do not expect customer service. The free breakfast is too hard to get. Lines are long.

Amazing food! Staff was very friendly and informative about local attractions. Overall, great place to check out.

Bad service! Old rooms with a smell of mildew, in the rooms an air conditioner that does not work properly and very noisy! We were very disappointed with our stay at the hotel. Apart from the location, the hotel has no other advantage. Too bad one last time we stayed at this hotel.

At all! Not friendly! Even the employees they are not happy and feel sorry for the customers. You can’t call the reception from the room, they do not answer, the room are not ready when it’s supposed to be the check in, they don’t put you towels in the room, you pay the room and breakfast but they give you the breakfast only for 2 people, doesn’t matter if you have booked for more. Etc etc.

This is our 2nd stay here at Hotel Edison, and we wouldn't stay anywhere else! Conveniently located just off Times Square, the hotel is centrally located to everything you want to do while in NYC and close to the subway! Our room was clean and very comfortable for our stay. Hotel has great security and a helpful Concierge which makes Hotel Edison the perfect place to stay while enjoying all NYC has to offer!

Twice this hotel was "our home" for our stay in New York. It's centrally located near Times Square with nice rooms and fantastic staff. We've always enjoyed our trips to NY and all nights at Edison. The entire staff was very nice and accommodating. If you need something, they will help you — and if you are nice, they will be too ;-). They always did a great job to make our vacation even more relaxing.

Stayed here at start of March, a few wee niggles which were dealt with straight away. Staff were fantastic, beds were so comfortable, housekeeping in every day, location was amazing. Felt safe as well as you had to show room keys at lift before staff allowed you access to the rooms. Will be coming back here again. Thank you Hotel Edison.

What a gem! My parents stayed in this hotel on their visit to NYC. Excellent place, excellent service and amenities. Given that in the meantime they went to Miami, they stayed in 2 different hotels, I am so pleased to say that they preferred this hotel over a Central Park 4-star one. This hotel is very much into the small details that turn a stay into a perfect one. Would definitely come back! :D.

Great location, but the rooms are certainly dated. You are about a block from Times square between 2 theater streets so it stays fairly loud all night. The hotel was built about 80 years ago and the rooms look like they haven't undergone much change since then. For the price it isn't too bad.

Hotel in a good location. Room i. O. Room service good. Integrates a restaurant and poison shop in the hotel. From here you are quickly in Times Square, Centrale Park, etc. We were pleased. The baths would have needed a renevation.

We were in New York for the Steubenparade last year and were in this hotel with our shooter company. The room was totally adequate. We had enough space with two large suitcases. The air conditioning wasn't too loud, either. My highlight was the ice cube machine on the floor! We didn't notice much of Times Square despite open windows. The staff was also mega friendly at all times!

I had promised myself a lot because of the beautiful photos on the internet, but was disappointed quite quickly when I arrived.
Only a few things and the lettering of the hotel remain of Artdeco style. It is a great pity.
The check-in was a pure sales event, so you can buy the "better" signature room as a special deal extra. Unfortunately, we did. Beautiful view of a wall through the window and the room itself is very old.
At the very least, there is extremely loud air conditioning, free bottled water, coffee as well as Wi-Fi. The rooms are also very centered and dark.
The day of departure … From today there are 0 stars thanks to the "facility fee" of 21 dollars per day, this is not expelled anywhere and is even illegal in New York, comes brand new with no reference to the final bill. The hotel died for me and certainly for a lot of other people. You can read a lot about this topic on the Internet. This hotel is not the only one that violates applicable laws! Reals shame that a stay must end so dignified.

Staff are so helpful, accommodating and nice. This place is super busy and they handle everything with a smile. The room we got first was unfortunately facing a wall but after a quick chat with the front desk we were given a larger room with a fantastic view — it was perfect for our week long stay. The bed was very comfortable and it was kept immaculate by the housekeeping staff. There's also a very pleasant and down to earth, no fuss vibe here for a place that looks so good. I felt so welcome. I could not recommend this place enough.

Well-run hotel in a good location, even child friendly. Baths would have to be brought up to a newer level. Room service good. Staff overall freu curse. Shop and restaurants available. The hotel can recommend it to others.

Location, location, location! Add to it, fantastic service and great restaurants. Friedman's and Bond45! Personal choice is the Friedman's! Loved the lamb burger :) A big thank you to the GM of the property for accommodating our last minute change in travel plans Our flight got cancelled and he personally arranged for us to get a room with a discount. Property is old (1931), lots of character and everything is functioning well. Check out the jazz bar too if you don't have children traveling with you. Loved it!

Excellent service by the hotel staff. I requested for a higher floor room and confirmed for the signature room. The room was excellent, spacious. For NYC this was kind of a surprise that hotel rooms can be this big! Worth every penny I spent for my parents two night stay in the city. Stone's throw from times square. The staff was extremely friendly and supportive, they gave special attention to each of their customers. I will be coming back here next time I visit. Thank you again for the hospitality.

This place was awesome! And more than I could have imagined for the price. I stayed there over Mother's Day weekend and the room was beautiful and contemporary / modern with the marble and glass bathroom. The beds were so comfortable and clean. The room service was polite and courteous. What more can I say.

Just returned from a 4 night stay and was thoroughly impressed by the staff at the Edison and Friedman’s restaurant. The hotel is in a great location for walking to midtown tourist spots and easy subway access, no need for bus tours. Perfect location for a Broadway show, just a quick walk to many theaters. Safe area, and watchful staff. The room was comfortable, clean and amazingly quiet! I can not say enough about the staff — so friendly and helpful that I wouldn’t even consider staying elsewhere. It’s an old hotel, with great Art Deco details throughout, but still modern feeling. The only real drawback was the wi-if, just kind of spotty. Might be a bigger deal to some, but Starbucks is across the street with a great view of Times Square. Friedman’s restaurant had good food and a staff that went out of their way to take care of us.

The hotel has a great location and therefore almost perfect for a city break. Our room would need a renovation as a matter of urgency. It's clean, though. The staff is very friendly and too accommodating.

I choose to book Hotel Edison each time I go to New York. I have been staying here consistently for around 5 years. Because of my great experiences, I have started to have cohorts, friends, and employees stay here when they're in the city. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, renovated, and spacious (considering its in TS). Not to mention, the newly added restaurants, Friedmans and Bond 45 are some of the better options in TS. For those with other Times Square hotel experiences, I think you'll find this place to be much better than most other options available. Highly Recommended.

The location is good and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is catastrophic, lack of equipment, heating of the Middle Ages (a lot of noise/impossible to Dormir'avec).

My sisters and I had a great experience here. A very secure hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and anytime we needed something they jumped on it. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Very good. The bad thing is the collection to Wi-Fi and the cable Q never walked! The rest very good.

I originally gave the Edison a 5 star review but after staying a 2nd time it went down. Fantastic staff and location. Really close to the action of Times Square. It really depends on the room you get. The first room I had was a remodeled room in the upper floor and was great. The second room I had was not remodeled and the heater was broken and made noise all night. Really small bathroom. Furniture and wallpaper work out. In all fairness they have been remodeling. I would stay here again but make sure I asked for a newer room.

The location is fantastic right off Times Square and for this reason I would still recommend a visit. However, in terms of value for money I think the room itself could have been better. The hotel is quite dated but seems clean and staff are pleasant. On check in I asked for a front facing room and he said he had given me one. The room unfortunately faced a very narrow alley with about 16 feet between ours and the opposite room so we kept our curtains closed all the time. Quite a depressing view. The room was okay and the bed was lovely. The heating/ac was so noisy I had to keep the fan on all night or each time it started up it woke me up was so noisy. Very hard to control the temperature as well. I sound like I'm whisking but I'm usually very happy with a Day's inn, La Quinta etc but this wasn't as good.

Great hotel in the heart of Manhattan. Two steps from Times Square. Their décor is great as well as the treatment of all their employees. A ten in hotel security. If I go back to NYC it will be to the same hotel.

The hotel is right off times square. We chose it because we were coming to see the Macy's parade, and it was only two blocks from the parade route. The service was excellent, and the prices reasonable. We especially like the manager's reception in the afternoon. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay near times square.

Excellent location and reasonable price. The only bad thing is that they stopped giving us soaps and there was no fridge. Recommended if you want to be comfortable in the center of the city.

Hotel was okay got a decent size room. Hotel feels dated and could use some updating in my opinion. Location was good though a couple of minute walk and your in the famous Time Square.

This was my second visit to the Hotel Edison, but my first time to The Rum House (just right of the hotel's main entrance/adjoining the hotel's lobby). The Wait Staff was Very Helpful and Pleasant and the drinks were GOOD, and priced appropriately (moderately priced). We were a party of four and arrived just before 6:30pm on a Saturday night for Drinks before the theater and was seated within minutes. It was very easy to hold a conversation, although just before we left they were setting up for the band/piano player so it has the potential to get loud.

We stayed here 16/09/2017 — 23/09/2017 we really like the hotel, the staff were always friendly, they were really helpful when we checked in and you always had to show your room card to staff at the front which we thought was really good! The room was a good size and really nice. Only disappointment was I thought the bathroom could of done with been updated a little. Also when we arrived the hotel was having some work done on it this didn't really affect us but I thought we could of been informed before we arrived. We didn't really like the location as we thought we was quite far out from things, We have stayed before near grand central and that was more closer to things. But overall really nice hotel, we would stay again if we couldn't find another hotel.

I really love the hotel. The location is perfect. I was in winter and everything was very close, the time square energy is always amazing! I really miss this place! It's a very good combination of location + price + service. I don't have any negative to say, just good comments!

The location is just off Times square, perfect for visiting New York city for tourism. Rooms perfectly clean, after reading reviews of times square hotel rooms being small, this was perfectly adequate for us. The staff were friendly and our request for a quiet room was honoured. Enjoyed our stay and wouldn't think twice about booking if we visit New York again.

I've been coming to the Edison for at least ten years. It has been just now refurbished and is now really beautiful. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Rooms are big and very well made. Bathrooms are big. Internet is slow but complimentary. Very recommended. Only cons: near to Times Square and a lot of noise from outside.

Security Team is awesome! Thought I lost a ring so called and asked security if they could check room. They turned room upside down to look for ring but couldn't find it. Called back immediately to tell me. Disappointed but was grateful they took the time to really look for it. Turns out, found ring in my purse hours later. Called back to tell them and thank them again. Will definitely be staying at this hotel next time in NYC. Thank you again Security Team! :)

Friendly service. Great room. Awesome location right in the heart of times square. Family friendly. Very diverse hotel guests from all over the world. Parking was very easy worth the valet service provided.

The location is the best thing about this hotel. Walking distance from most of the Broadway theater and souvenir shops. Food choices within the area is good too, from usual coffee shops to pizza shops and pretty nice bars. Gray Line tours, fairly popular tour operator is just around the corner too. Stayed for six nights, room and housekeeping was good. Elevator was under maintenance during my stay so it takes time to use it. Street noise is tolerable, but maybe a nuisance during the weekend. General hotel service was good, Front desk processed my Check In/Out quickly. Hotel staff was polite and helpful when I asked directions and suggestions for tours and transportation. Recommended for solo travellers, couples/friends, and families with kids.

The air contition its not working. The door lock the same. 4 people came At 19.30 to fix the door becase its not working properly too much noise from the electric closet at the night. No fridge at the room. The fotos from the internet its not looking the same. Too much noise from outside. Very old building. I will never come again in my life.

The hotel had small rooms, very close to European hotels. It was nice and clean. We had a veiw of times square but couldn't see the ball drop! I also got really drunk and blacked out. The closet was small I couldn't fit all the way in it.

I have just returned after a 5 night stay at the Edison. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and very friendly. You could not wish for a hotel to be in a better location right on Times Square and minutes away from all the theatre's. The rooms are a bit dated and could do with some decoration. The hotel advertise Wi Fi, but they don't let you know in advance that it is not free.

Classic New York! I always stay here when in town. Simply put: it's the best hotel for your money in the city. New renovations are great, staff is awesome and attentive. A NYC landmark in itself!

This is faulty towers New York! Poor and non-existent service. At any other hotel in the world for the same price you could at least get room service, a bar fridge, local amenities like Wi-Fi, restaurant or at least concierge with a smile. For a hotel in the heart of time square and Broadway it's a pretty poor performance and definitely no bang for your buck. This is the love child of Basil Faulty & Hell's kitchen complete with hot and cold running prostitutes, bell hops on the take, gangsters, beggars and 2000 guests a day heaving through the place like cockroaches over a dead relic. "Art deco" my art, it's run down up market pay by the hour rubbish, it's just a bed, with a bath when the water works. It's all about location but you can get better value less that a block away. Avoid it like the pox on New York that it is.

The highlight of this hotel is the location a few steps from Times Square, areas for improvement are many, the rooms are outdated, however overall judgment is positive, basically just need to sleep.

The pictures on Google and the Hotel Edison website look NOTHING like the room I stayed in. The wallpaper was peeling, the beds were just plain white and extremely old-looking, and there was no updated furniture at all. The room was tiny, and the bathroom even tinier. We had four girls in one room, and with only one little mirror, some of us had to get ready for a night on the town in the hallway. Additionally, the lighting was very poor. With that being said, the staff was really polite and helpful, and the proximity to Times Square is hard to beat. I enjoyed the complimentary C. O. Bigelow bathroom products as well. I simply wish we would have not been tricked into thinking we were staying in a polished, modernized room when our room was comparable to a so-so motel.

Hotel Edison is located very centrally in Midtown. The rooms of the General category are appropriate in order, but also according to. Less positive is the Service in the Hotel: No free W-Lan access ($50 per week) also in the Lobby is not. For requests and grants to the New York project will be unfriendly to the paid-for Internet access referenced. There is no Info Material ausliegend, no newspaper and no reservations, e. G. For a visit to the UN. Nice small Bar, live music every night offers.

Awful tourist trap hotel — for the good points, its clean enough (meet the standard of most hotels). And for persons who want to be near Time Square, its well located (i dont recommend, Time Square is a bit over-visited and it cost a arm in taxi to go back to the hotel because of the traffic around this area). But if its what you want, its for your. The concierge was giving good information and services when needed (but was alone in a big hotel with a lot of tourists, so long line up to talk to her was very common). The rest. — The welcoming was chaotic and not very warm. We checked in at 1pm in total chaos, but the room wasnt ready yet. The employees had their "no-smile face". We did everything, but we needed to come back after 3pm for the key. We went for a walk in Chelsea, had lunch and then came back before the evening dinner. As chaotic as before. We where asked to make a line up behind a huge group even though we said all was done we just needed our key. We had to increase tone voice to be serviced. Then, we had to put ourselves behind a long line up (the same group) to get to the elavator. We where tired, just wanted to go to our room to prepare for the evening and the personnal was totally not friendly. — No Wifi included! Even in some remote area, most hotels in 2015 include Wi-Fi. Not the Edison, its extra charge. And the Wi-Fi suck. We could barely get it even if we paid. And before paying at noon, I asked reception if "24 hours" meant up to noon next day.

The Wi-Fi connection is absolutely terrible. I tried two devices and could barely do even basic web browsing and email with either as the connection frequently slowed to a stop and caused timeout errors. My room had a window facing out onto 47th street where garbage trucks seem to be busy idling their engines, backing up, and banging dumpsters around nonstop around the clock. There is very little soundproofing in the room so I could hear the backup beeping of trucks and outbursts from drunken tourists all night. The gym had above-average equipment for what I'm used to in economy hotels, but the multiple security cameras, bone-chilling full-blast air conditioning, and loud stereo (both of which have their controls locked down from guests) just add a touch of "feels like prison" to the already extremely unpleasant stay. The room itself was very clean and has nice enough accommodations. I suppose the proximity to times square is what makes Edison appealing; you're not going to stay in another hotel this close for the price. Just pack some valium.

I took my family of four to NY for a vacation and spent 4 nights at the Edison. The location is fantastic, it is literally right around the corner from Times Square. And being that close to Times Square made it very convenient to walk to many sites and the subway. The classic design was very cool. It had a ‘30s feel to it, but modern amenities. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the size of the room – considering I was in the heart of New York. It was very roomy and clean. The staff was helpful and there was security at the entrance. We especially liked the wine and cheese reception. The only issues we had – we were on the fifth floor and had to use the ice machine on the second floor. I am not sure if there were any other ice machines in the building. The ice machine never worked while we there. And they were constantly having issues with the (six) elevators – we took the stairs most of the time. I can only hope these were issues that unfortunately occurred during our stay – and not a common occurrence. If so, ask for a room on a lower floor. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing location, and beautiful classic architecture. Hotel Edison is charming, very clean, the staff is very helpful and amazingly friendly. Much of the hotel needs updating desperately, but the hotel edison is not a destination hotel. Its a hotel within the destination city of new york! View from the room of the barrymore theater across the road was beautiful, and there are multiple amazing restaurants right on the same street. Literally steps from times square and within walking distance of theaters and grand central. 10/10 will stay again soon!

The room was very clean and the bathroom was immaculate. The view was great and the location is hard to beat. My only complaint is that the TV wasn't HD, but who comes to NYC to watch TV in your hotel room? I was only watching because it was the night of Letterman's last show (5/20/15). I'd stay here again in a heartbeat! Try the 24-hour deli next door and Carve pizza nearby!

Location is great! Price is one of best in Manhattan. We had a simple room. The heater was broken, so it was very hot in the room. The repairman said he fixed the problem, but he didn't. It stayed hot. We complained en they gave us directly a new room. Too bad of the failure, but a good solution!

A naked man in the night knock at around 2:30, may 14, 2015, many doors extremely loudly and I got frighthened. Unfornutately, the key for only one phone available in a room did not work. This unacceptable threat was last tens minutes, and security people after arrived talked to that man loudly. More unacceptable, the manger of th hotel made deep appologies to me, and asked me to reserve his hotel with 20% discount in my next visit to New York, which I paid around 300 US$ per night this time. I do not want to have second hurt in this hotel.

Location, location, location! The room was average, but clean and comfortable. The staff was accommodating if you needed something. Best price in town! And really, who goes to NYC, to stay in their room.

I will be staying here with 5 of my friends starting tomorrow. So far the customer service has not been very good. I originally booked 3 rooms — 1signature superior king, 1 signature deluxe 2 queens, 1 superior queen (1 bed) all on renovated floors. On Feb 11/15 I changed the superior queen (1) bed to a signature superior king. Later when I got my confirmation, I noticed that the change had not been made. I talked to someone at Edison about the mistake who told me that the superior kings were sold out. I told her that I changed the reservation in February, but she said obviously the reservation agent failed to change the room accomodation. After expressing my extreme disappointment, she said her manager would call me, not to worry, he would make me happy. We're leaving tomorrow, no call from anyone. We are all looking forward to this trip, but 2 grown women in a queen bed will not be a relaxing experience. BTW, we are 6 good friends traveling to New York after Hurricane Sandy canceled our trip 2 years ago, which by the way, we had reservations at Hotel Edison then too.

The hotel staff were polite, and very helpful. The hotel. Has had some better days. The heating didn't work, and whenever your neighbour showered you sure heard it. The hotel is in a perfect downtown location. I went during the Christmas season, making this hotel perfect distance to the tree.

It is all about the location. You are a half a block from Time Square and the 49th street Subway. The hotel is EXTREMELY clean and affordable. The hotel staff is very friendly and caring to there clients. I would stay in this hotel next time I come visit New York in a heart beat. Great Hotel.

The room in the picture maybe exists but what they give you is a rotten old hole poorly furnished that has nothing to do with art deco, with cleaning and with good taste. Of poor people.

I thought this hotel was great good staff and rooms were big I've done nyc 3 times now stayed at the newyorker that was good but a long walk to time square and Central Park going back this year for Christmas and happy to book Back at the Edison 5 star thumbs up.

Like other reviewers said — you book this for the location. Right by Times Square and in the middle of where you want to be. Slightly outdated, but in the process of renewing. We had a request for a different room and Marcos and Juan took great care of us. All of the staff were polite and courteous. Would like free and better Wi-Fi, especially since cellphone reception was not very good in building.

I stayed on a Monday for one night. I booked the reservation that day. When we arrived, there was a great little lounge with live music and people playing jazz. We were given a free upgrade into a suite which had it's own balcony and a view of time square. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect (especially if you're there for the holiday season and want to be near Rockefeller Center). I've bounced around hotels in NYC before but this was the best experience I've had. Honestly a great hotel with amazing people working there.

Is within walking distance of time square from the stations of buses for tourists from the wax museum on the opposite side of the wax museum comes to the library finally is central. Daily changing bedding is clean and safe hello is not luxury but descanzas well. After a good. Day of sightseeing.

The hotel is old siccius but you serve well when we saw was a disgusting my brother was in another room wel man carrying bags asked dejemme see if your bathroom is clean has jajajajaja luck that we changed to a better.

The best of the hotel is definitely its location.

If you are looking for a hotel just to spend the night without spending a lot of money and that this central in NY, this is a very good hotel, by which is only 50 mt from the times square, right next to the W hotel. As a single trip to NY I find very useful, that the sector is very safe and close to the metro
Although it is an old Hotel, the rooms are clean. The only downside I found of the hotel is that it has free Wifi internet service, for which you have to pay 8 dollars per day approx with credit card. There is an internet room for visitors in the hotel, but it is friendly! $6 10 min, or something as well. Anyway in Times Square, Mac Donalds and strabucks there is free Wi-Fi internet, so always be somehow connected with your cellphone.
As, I find cheaper request reservation by travel agency, that the prices that they publish on the internet.
