Everything about our stay at The Langham was great. The bed was so inviting — we were in it a lot. Great views from the room and easy to get anywhere from the location.

I stayed at the Langham Hotel for 12 nights. I couldn't believe the service, it was second to none. From the greeting staff all the way through to the kitchen staff — fantastic service all round. The room I had on the 20th floor was fit for a king. Well done everyone.

Truly a wonderful and relaxing experience with a deluxe room. We were on the 24 floor and it was the quietest hotel we've ever stayed at in NYC. Great hospitality from entire staff from start to finish. Clean, spacious and modern rooms. Very nice gym, didn't get a chance to experience the spa. Amazing burger from the bar and delicious breakfast! We'll be back, and thanks to American Express for the recommendation!

Five star experience at this midtown hotel. Room and bathroom were exceptionally large (stayed in a family room with 2 queen beds) ; though on the 6th floor you could hear city traffic. Concierge service was the highlight of our visit at The Langham. From restaurant recommendations and reservations to finding an Alexander Hamilton walking tour to finding a watch repair man—concierge service was wonderful. Hotel bar is ok. It’s part of the restaurant so closes earlier than one might want but the service was outstanding. Wait staff at the restaurant are obviously well trained. Recommendation to the hotel: bathroom needs more lighting, especially for applying makeup. Provide two vanity mirrors. Wish the toilet was sectioned off for more privacy. Room needs more drawer space. Also, a lumbar pillow on the large chair would make the chair more comfortable.

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are modern, clean, and well-spaced. I've stayed here a few times because my mom loves this hotel and restaurant but as of recent, it's like nobody is working there. There was no one at the door and no one greeting us. The Italian restaurant Ai Fiori is overpriced and has small portions. The dishes are good but you can find stellar, fresh Italian food throughout NYC for 1/5 the cost. At least you can find staff there.

It's a great cafe. To spend time reading or a good breakfast, varieties of coffee and teas. The chocolate croissants are the best in the city!

The loby was so clean and every guest room was maintained with highly secured facility. The room was full of fancy furniture and high technology. I relly recommend this place.

Upscale hotel in great location on 5th Ave. Close to many highlights of NYC. Large bathrooms. Friendly staff. Nespresso machines in rooms. Taking off 1 star due to beds. Experienced more comfortable mattress in cheaper hotels.

Great 5 star hotel in a fabulous location and a true servant mentality. A little dated but good size rooms. My issue was that the room was less to be desired by a long shot and not up to 5 star standards at all! We arrived early and they didn’t have our room ready (high floor facing park ave). We checked our bag and was going to go out but the lady at the front desk “sold” us this other “better” room. She said it wasn’t on a high floor but it was the same room with an added patio and outside garden access area. She went on and on about how beautiful the room was and that it was $100 more a night but she would give it at the same price. Sold! When we got in there we just dropped our bag and left, room looked great at first glance. Upon arriving back late in the evening we found all the issues. Several lights didn’t work, bathroom door wouldn’t open and the “patio” was a shared space in the back up the building that felt like you were in an alley with windows of other units right in front of the patio furniture. Not only did our patio furniture have missing cushions but we had a person stare at us through their window so we quickly went inside. There was no garden. We had to keep our blinds closed due to being a shared patio and the windows to another unit being so close that they could see in. It just felt like we were in the basement. We love keeping the curtains open and still having privacy which this room didn’t offer.

Disappointed at the staff at the front. It was Saturday night around 10:30 pm staff that was working was rude. We went upstairs to the restaurant that place looked deserted. Beautiful ambience but just because something looks good doesn't mean the staff will be the same. Caution if you're planning on coming here make sure you check in early when you have the friendlier staff but not the late night staff because you could see a huge difference and hear a huge difference in attitude.

Exclusive and Discreet Hotel in the exact location necessary for my meetings. Attentive and Professional staff with matching attitudes and energy for all is demanding guests. Extremely comfortable rooms with energizing showers. Exquisite and efficient room service. Simply, a delight.

I recommend this Hotel highly! The rooms are incredibly large. I have never seen so many amenities In one room! They bring cookies every night! I had an upgrade to a residence with a full kitchen and coffee machine. They serve coffee and cookies in the lobby too. The gym was spacious. There's a fantastic restaurant in the hotel with a wonderful breakfast menu. The bathroom had both a shower and huge bathtub with a TV inside the Mirror so you can watch while you bathe. The shampoo, bar soap and toiletries were amazing! Slipper and bathrooms were great! The service and staff were great too! They offered complimentary shoe shine and pressing of up to five garments! I will definitely return!

Exhausted after a 5 day stay here. 27th floor very noisy as it has mechanical for the high rise above it. Avoid 27 as well as rooms adjacent to elevator banks as they are very noisy as well. Elevator waits are very slow as service staff use them all day. Staff seem to be used to dealing with grumpy people. Especially at front desk who were a challenge to deal with. Jamal was great and was the reason we did not simply leave. Overall hotel seems a little tired. If you choose to stay here only accept a room away from the elevators and service doors. This hotel is no place to relax. Would never go back and will definitely avoid the chain.

Excellent location and service is exemplary. Rooms are spacious for NYC and in-room coffee service is Nespresso Machines. Bathrooms are well appointed and well stocked with robes, slippers and shampoo products. Beds while comfortable, are very low to the ground and "odd". I'm not sure what the issue is, but they seem very strange to get into and out of. This is a high-end hotel with high-end prices.

Went for brunch. Coffee was refilled constantly, and wait staff was very attentive. I had the bagel and lox — the best bagel I had in a long time! However I didn't feel like there was more than 1 particularly special or unique item on the menu… A little disappointed for a Michelin star.

Excellent service. The concierge and the staff are highly attentive. We had a mix up with a voucher we had for a free stay and the staff were very accommodating and extremely nice about the situation. Very professional. The amenities were superb and despite having construction on the upper floors, there was no disturbance or sound whatsoever. Regardless they still apologized and had signs up detailing their work in progress. Every night we received cookies. The best were the chocolate chip. We received oatmeal raisin one night and that would be minus one star, but even those were delicious.

Overall I enjoyed the experience at the Langham. The room was comfortable and I enjoyed the decor. I didn't spend enough time in the hotel to be able to judge the service efficiently but from the small taste I had, I had nothing bad to say about the staff. To be fair, the only complaint I have about the hotel is the food. I ordered room service twice during my stay and I didn't have a single thing that I wanted to finish. Overall I give my experience at the Langham a 4.2 out of 5.0.

Had the opportunity to stay here one mid-week night. Upon arrival, every single staff member in the lobby said hello to me, making me feel very welcome. The room was larger than I expected, bathroom amenities were good and could not here much street noise despite low floor. If you need to be near the Empire State Building, this is a great location. While the hotel markets itself as luxury, I would not go that far — for example, the TV was old and small while the bed was so low my knee when standing was above the mattress. All in all, a pleasant experience.

Rooms are wonderful and some of the best service I've ever experienced. Ai Fiori, the restaurant inside, is the best meal I've ever had.

Nice hotel in a great location. Family Place rooms are very spacious with two double beds. If you book for 5 people then expect to pay an additional $80 a night for a roll out bed.

Highly disappointing given the brand reputation. Construction disrupted meetings and room experience. Staff also disrupted meeting with failure in the audio system that they were unable to correct. Small details overlooked as well.

Excellent in every sense of the word. The place is updated, modern classic furniture, comfortable Duxiana mattresses, the staff is VERY friendly & accommodating. Convenient location as well. I'll be back.

I went to the Insignificance the play. It was a great show and experience that I would highly recommend for anyone to check out. Having the play a hotel room is a great idea and really name the audience feel like a part of the performance.

Last trip to New York we decided to try this hotel after all the wonderful reviews. We were not disappointed. From our suite to the staff we could not have asked for a more enjoyable stay and atmosphere.

I haven't even stayed there yet but based on the experience I've had booking it alone I'm giving it 5 stars. I spoke to a woman named Michelle in in-house reservations yesterday and she went above and beyond. I always stay at nice hotels and have never really had a bad experience at any of them but I've never been treated so well to the point where I go out of my way and write a review such as this. Her professionalism was that of what customer service should be but rarely is.

Mediocre hotel, dirty room, arrogant manager. I won't stay here again. They ruined my trip to NY.
Try the Andaz 100 yards up the road, nicer people and a nicer experience.
