Horrible Customer Service! Who charges for full stay prior to check in and doesn’t honor breakfast in which I paid for and also all levels of Management from Checkin Clerk Manager and Upper Level Management hasn’t done anything to seek a customer’s satisfactory experience! Now as I have posted this MY ROOM IS NOT BEING CLEANED DAILY AND I’M SUPPOSED TO JUST BE FINE WITH IT! ***This is not PROPER CUSTOMER SERVICE OR HOSPITALITY!

This beautiful non-smoking and clean Art Deco hotel is centrally located. Places are walking distance but easy to hop on a bus subway or get in a Lyft which we did often. Friendly staff let us check in early as we arrived early from our red eye flight. Small room but it did the job. I will definitely come back to this hotel next time we’re in NYC.

I just arrived home after an overnite at this hotel and all I can say is well done. The staff was beyond courteous and helpful. The room was small but well laid out the bathroom was huge! Very clean. I wish we stayed the weekend. This will stay on our list.

We have stayed at this hotel two times in the last 5 months. Most recently mid December. The staff are very friendly! The room was superb! We got the executive Queen suite the last time and it was perfect! Location can not be beat. Tons of restaurants nearby, try Habanero Blues across the street, and Herald Square just steps away! We will definitely be back!

Our family stayed at Le Soleil for our first trip ever to NYC to celebrate our daughters 25th birthday at the end of November 2019. And everything about the hotel was amazing. We truly felt like we were at home. Staff was friendly, rooms were comfortable. A little tight at first but got used to it fairly quickly. Location was perfect. Excellent restaurants close by. Our doorman greeted us every time like we were family. I wish I would’ve gotten his name. So friendly and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the city. Recommend this hotel enough. Super friendly staff (on arrival, sorting a question we had with card payment and arranging travel back to JFK for a great price), beautiful rooms also really large (especially for New York! ), we had a queen room which even had enough space for a sink, fridge, coffee maker and a microwave! Kept in constant email communication with yadira before our trip who was amazingly helpful in sorting our room with the view we wanted and making sure it was all sorted for our arrivsl Will certainly be staying again next time we come over.

Stood here last night for the first time with my hubby, it was an amazing anniversary gift and experience, I loved this hotel it was clean spacious and tranquil and super friendly staff, can’t wait to go again.

Best hotel I've ever experienced in NYC. Have stayed here for extended business trips for the last 3 years, and the consistency of service is remarkable. Fantastic restaurant and coffee shop. Superb front desk and bell staff. Surprisingly good fitness center, and great views of the Empire State Building if you are on the upper floors. Standard rooms are a bit tight, but typical of NYC hotel room size. Suites are perfect and essential for extended stays.

Unfortunately our flight was cancelled for today. But thanks to the excellent service of this hotel we are looking forward to arrive a day later than planned.

We had such a wonderful stay. From check in to check out. Comfy bed, Clean room and the location was ideal. Close to Herald Sq. Everything was great. I have stayed in many NYC hotels and so happy we chose to stay at Executive. The restaurant Trademark in the hotel is great as well!

We were walking distance to time square Broadway the garment district all the bus lines it was fantastic the price was great for time square hotels. The only drawback was that there were no closets in the room but that’s OK everything else made up for it. I did hours of research and reading reviews Take it for me this is the place you want to book.

Clean and friendly. Staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Highly impressed with my first visit and looking forward to staying here again. Within walking distance to so many must see sites. Would recommend and will be back. Frances and Jamie were both amazing staff members. Did not catch the housekeeper's name but was kind and friendly. Before the night ended she came to my room to check and see if there was anything I needed. For my first tip to New York I was extremely impressed with Le Soleil and their staff.

Excellent staff, location, area. The room we are in is very very small. Virtually no closet. Tough for our week long stay.
Many good restaurants and bars nearby. 15 min walk to Time Square. 5 min walk to subway.
Has an office center, printer, bar, nearby places for breakfast and all meals. Keg excellent Irish Pub/ Sports Bar across street.

Le Soleil is a nice boutique hotel located near the Empire State Building and K-Town in midtown Manhatten. I stayed in a Queen Suite which was clean, spacious and comfortable. Along with the Queen bed, the room includes a separate seating area with sofa and TV, a bathroom with a large walk in shower (no tub) and a second TV by the bed. The bathroom was clean with a rainfall shower head and good hot water and shower pressure. I would have liked more closet storage and more than the 3 hangers provided, but that's only a small quibble. Overall, a comfortable stay in a great location.

Beautiful, clean and quiet hotel. Our room was small but very lovely and we only go to the room to sleep so it doesnt really matter. The staff was incredible. Nice bar/restaurant. Great location. Overall amazing place.

Stayed on a Saturday night in April. The room was good and the staff were nice enough. Overall I liked the hotel especially the location. Easy walk to Subway and Times Square. Cool Irish bar across the street. The only thing I didn't like was being charged $70 for valet. I understand parking is a premium in midtown but $70 seems too steep.

Really Nice hotel. Friendly desk staff. Always clean. The check in staff were especially helpful with our questions during our stay. Door staff were friendly and brilliant. However, we are from the UK and read on the website if we request in advance we can get a kettle provided for the room. We emailed well in advance more than once, with acknowledgement. Still no kettle. We asked when we arrived, informed none available, so we went out and bought one. However why offer this service on the website if none available? Secondly, the bathroom sliding doors are just strange, with no handles they are so inconvenient to open from the top of the door workings. I know it's two seemingly small things but I feel neither should have been an issue.

Was not impressed. Rooms were super small, smaller than what the pictures show. The hotel compromised functional space in the rooms. It looks like the focus was more on being trendy rather than how they could make the most out of such a small space. We felt like we were in a closet, not a room. There was no space for suitcases or to even hang up a coat. Very poor design in the rooms. Aside from design space, it is in a good location to Times Square and staff was friendly.

The rooms are spacious, clean and neat. Considering its in the center of Manhattan, just off 5th Avenue and a short walk to Times Square, we thought it would be much smaller and were surprised. The staff is super friendly and helpful. All in all, a great experience!

Rooms need to be cleaned as all the carpet near the base boards had dirt near them. The temperature control in the room only would let the cooling go down to 75 and even when it said it was below 70 in the room it felt a lot warmer. They almost lost party of my dry cleaning because they put a different room number on it.

I had 4 nights here just after New Years, and the room was great, clean and modern. I had a really nice view of the Empire State Building! So central for everything, in a good area which for a single female traveller was a big plus! I had an issue with my window which was fixed within a few minutes, maintenance guy was super friendly so were door staff and reception! Highly recommend this hotel.

Very good hotel, comfortable, clean with a very good staff. The restaurant is super good, but the dishes are long waiting (45min for a breakfast). It is well located, 5 min from TimeSquare and 2 min from the Empire states Building.

Excellent! the facilities of the hotel supermodernas. The restaurant is 10 points. The care and cleaning mb. The optimal location will be everything in waking distance. Come back!

Would give 6 stars if I could third shift Francis was very helpful & professional as well as a welcoming smile, so was the bell hop third shift although I do not recall his name. When leaving bell hop Mathew Jeong and Jamie we're very professional and helpful with my bags. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable! The shower hot water lasted forever which was great after a long day of driving. We stayed 2 nights it was great and we hope to visit again soon. With that said I would highly recommend this Hotel if visiting Manhattan!

Nice place with modern rooms. Breakfast is excellent. Very well situated for walks and from Penn Station (10 min walk). Lots to see in the neighbourhood. Well worth a visit.

Location is great! The staff is helpful. There were a few things that weren't perfect: They do not have room service, yet. Our room door wouldn't shut all the way by itself. There was no "Do Not Disturb" tag to put on the door, but we were never interrupted by housekeeping. Also, the toilet handle wouldn't return to starting position by itself. The valve would stay open and continue filling the tank unless you remembered to adjust the flush handle yourself when finished. But the bathroom otherwise was nice. We had a great view of the empire State building (we we're on floor 14). We did not have time to use the amenities they had, but they offered several things: spa, gym, conference rooms etc.

Very clean room, fairly standard modern nice layout, but nothing I haven't before. What makes this place very good is the staff. I wish I got this treatment everywhere I went. Not over the top but attentive and caring. Enjoyed the restaurant and will go back when not staying there. BTW I can't believe staying to close to the middle of everything could be so quiet. I'm from NYC and I was very impressed. Best place I've stayed in for business.

For context, I stayed on the twentieth floor in a Penthouse Suite, for a reasonable price, which was part of the attraction. I like nice hotels, and have stayed in a variety of 4 and 5 star hotels in NYC and internationally. I am very unlikely to stay again, because given my experience in what had to be one of the nicest rooms, I was not impressed with a number of things. First, and most important, the bathroom shower had no rails or grips anywhere and has a lip, which I did not see, so that when you come out of the shower you have to step over it or you will trip, which I did. Fortunately I caught myself, but otherwise I would have fallen directly into a part of the wall. So the design of the shower/bathroom is flawed and dangerous — a lawsuit waiting to happen. (Note: I asked to speak to management about the shower, to let them know it's dangerous — later they sent up a mat to put on the floor, which is not my idea of fixing the problem). The bathroom was also missing things, like shampoo and a waste basket, things you shouldn't have to ask for, especially in a hotel like this. Second, the suite, which was spacious and had a nice view, simply didn't feel that nice or cozy in terms of color, fabric choices for the couch, and lighting (the lighting, including in the bedroom, is too bright with no dimming options — again, odd for a luxury hotel).

For $400 a night, this is not the place to stay. (We booked it with a discount of $100, but knowing it should be $400 makes it worse, as $300 was too much! ) The room is incredibly small; there isn't even a closet. There is a small piece of furniture to hang a few items, and has 3 drawers, but it's still very, very small. There is no vent system in the bathroom, so during our entire stay, our room was humid and damp; all of our clothes were damp (even those that hadn't been worn yet) just from showering. Counter space/storage space in the bathroom was also incredibly limited. There were drain flies (see pictures) all over the bathroom, but especially when showering. They don't do any harm, but are gross and can easily be exterminated by hotel staff. I don't know if our sheets were changed prior to us arriving. I noticed a spot on the bedding the first night that I assumed was just a stain. Two days later, I noticed the same spot. My husband and I stripped the bed, and found it was gross (see pictures). We don't wear socks/shoes in bed, and don't have this problem at home, so we are certain the filth is not from us. The sheets and towels were often stained, and many of the towels had holes in them. They were usable and clean, but not appealing. The room was loud. You couldn't hear others in the room next door, but you could easily hear full conversations being had in the hallway, and could always hear doors opening and closing, and the elevator.

Very good location in Manhattan between 5th and 6th Avenue. Facing the Empire Building and back from the hustle and bustle of Times Square. Ideal for visiting this wonderful neighborhood. Be careful to choose a spacious room otherwise you will be more than cramped. Breakfast included in the price is just frugal. Clean.

Just visited family staying there. The room was very nice. However it has sort of 2 room spaces, one with the standard bed and such (all very nice) and then the other room was just a TV and a chair (the bedroom did have a TV as well). I mean nice to get the extra space, but I don't know what this was listed as. If it was supposed to be a suite it was kinda odd. But still, was a nice hotel.

Very friendly staff and attractive and clean hotel. A few things were a little bothersome, no soap in the bathroom and the toilet ran all night. However all and all I would say nice place to stay and very Central to so much!

Great place to stay for a family vacation while exploring NYC. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Hotel is half a block from 5th Ave and only two blocks from the Empire State building. Macy's flagship store is only two blocks away. The subway station on 34th St is only two blocks away and it's convenient to go visit many places around the city. Make sure you get a Metro card if you plan on a lot of sightseeing, so you can save some money. Our room was a one queen bed. Room size was on the small size, but the bathroom is very nice and big. They do have a computer and printer, which came in handy. A+

This was an awesome hotel in a wonderful location! Lilly at the front desk was super helpful and amazing. We were able to get into our room earlier than check in time and the amenities were very nice. Would absolutely stay here again!

Our room was small but nicely furnished. The "closet" was weird because the snacks are right under where the clothing should hang. Large bathroom with very pretty tile. Low water pressure on 11th floor, but maybe it was prime time for showers. Courteous staff. We'd stay there again.

Rooms very nice, bit much space for clothes though! Especially if you are a business traveller and are here for 2 weeks! Breakfast not included which wasn't make clear in the booking process which has disappointing. Overall a nice ace to stay. Very clean and open, modern and comfortable.

Loved this hotel! Stayed here for 4 nights with a one year old. Room was clean and spacious. Had a mini fridge and microwave. Hotel provided a pack and play. Our room faced the Empire State Building. Staff was very friendly and always had smiles on their faces. Convenient to many things. Would definitely stay here again and reccomend Hotel Le Soleil to others.

Great service. They kept our bags safe when we got to town early before check in so we could see some sites. Room was nice and clean. Location worked well for what we needed.

My fiancé and I stayed here for our anniversary and the hotel was beautiful with an amazing view. We were lucky enough to stay on the 18th floor and got to enjoy the views of the city. Highly recommend this hotel as thr staff was extremely nice and accomodating.

Very unique made my birthday very luxurious​ & special. Love the amenities and the rooms were gorgeous. Anything I desired was a call away. Will recommend to friends and family.

My husband and I come to NYC every year on business. This year we wanted to try something new, big mistake! On our second night staying here, we decided to go to the bar for a drink and were kicked out rather rudely for a. "Private party". We were a little taken aback since the bar was empty and we wanted to finish our drink, but we're not allowed to (the manager even threatened to call the police) so we left furious and humiliated. Never again will we stay here, nor will we ever recommend this place, in fact I will be sure that all of my husbands clients, coworkers, Facebook, twitter and every other way I can think of to get this experience known.

The hotel is in the excellent area so close to shopping avenues, located between the 5th and the 6th avenue, a few blocks away from amazing Bryant park, and just a block away from the Empire State.
The hotel is very clean and the suite was impeccable. Very well service when it comes to the concierge and the front desk staff who were very helpful and friendly in recommending the activities and organizing my departure transfer.
The hotel has a restaurant as well with the exce…llent menu in a typical NYC style. Definitely will recommend this hotel to everyone who would like to have a stress free visit to this unbelievable city. Lastly, the view from my 15th floor suite was just like I wanted, took lots of videos and live stories to post on all the social networks. This is the place to be. See you next time guys can't wait to be back.

Rooms look nice. Seems to be a bit more roomy than other NYC hotels. No road noise issues at all. 1 day we had a fire alarm test at 7 am. And they keep taking my extra pillow everyday.

Executive Queen room is a great value for the price. The restaurant/bar is a fun vibe. Solid food options and talented bartenders. Super friendly and fun bar staff.

Cool bar scene. Food was OK. Fried Chicken sandwich lacking chicken but flavor was good. Fries too salty. Overall menu prices very high for what it was. Drinks were good. Staff was fun and friendly. Atmosphere was chill.

What a great place! The rooms were gorgeous, and the atmosphere was very cozy. The drinks at the bar were crafted by the bartenders and were very yummy. Front desk service was also very good.

Fantastic. Unbeatable situation. Room very spacious and comfortable and lovely views. 2 minutes from Times Square and connection to all. Personal amabilisimo. All good and nothing negative.

Good points: newly renovated room with the usual fixtures (Wi-Fi, TV, comfortable bed), and nice staff. Bad points: our 'twin' was a bed and fold-out lounge, no bath, and the room was quite small.

Great location. Great place to stay. Tastefully decorated. A Very clean hotel with a friendly and highly professional staff. Alfredo at front desk was a great help in placing us in a suite and remained patient as we looked at three rooms before deciding the right one. Doorman Eddie was very friendly anything you need he's there. Always greeting you on way in and out. Thanks for having an umbrella in the room. Looking forward to restaurant next time we come. Location was central but the room was quiet as it was tucked away on a side street. It was only a block away from the empire state building, 5th avenue, the subway and Macy's. We could walk or take a subway to times square and central park. There's a convenience store and a maccas on the corner. The room itself was small but we were expecting it being new York. The room was relatively clean but not spotless… The first night I found lipstick stains on one of the hand towels. The worst thing about the room was the water pressure (low) and pillows (soft and lumpy). Otherwise I thought it was great value for money as we booked during its opening. Would consider staying again. Service was almost always positive. Very friendly staff.

Lovely hotel, however we were not informed that there would be work going on at the hotel and the noise was very loud in our room. They did not restock the coffee when the room was cleaned and someone thought it was funny to set our alarm clock in the room to go off at 6am. Excellent location for all the attractions mind, would stay again.
