It’s no frills, old school spot with a lot of history. But they get the 5 star rating for their staff. Friendly, kind, and looking out for guests. The location is unbeatable at the price point.

First time at this hotel and we will be back! The hotel lobby was cool looking and friendly staff. Ivonne at the front desk was a sweetheart. Great location! Delicious breakfast! Great room! Excellent shower!

This place was amazing! The stuff couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating. The hotel was very nice. Rooms are small but nice. Location and price were perfect. I will definitely come back.

We had booked this hotel through Expedia and had many problems before we got there, for example the called the day before our arrival to get a credit card even though Expedia had told us we already paid. We call the hotel day of check in to let them know that we would be in late. So we get in and they gave our hotel away which was disappointing since it was 11 at night. So they found us a hotel that was not where we wanted to be or have the room specifications that we wanted. It is a nice hotel but the customer service is lacking. They made no attempts to rectify the situation.

Small room and bathroom but clean and comfortable. AC good otherwise quiet. Great location right off Times Square. Cheaper than nearby places.

Perfect place to stay because it's in the middle of everything couple hundred feet to Times Square and all The entertainment that New York could give you, front desk customer service was friendly kind, The rooms were clean, The bathrooms were super clean, I can't complain I will come back here when I visit New York again.

Just returned from a stay at The Broadway, perfectly located, friendly staff, clean & comfortable, the buffet breakfast was an added bonus. Excellent choice will definitely be going back. Xx.

It is near Times Square and Central Park, there is free Wi-Fi and break fast. It is a good option.

Awesome staff, small hotel just steps away from Times Square, good continental breakfast with pastries, eggs, beverages, fruit, and such. Single elevator can be a downer, although with only 9 floors, it does not generally take long. The stairway is extra narrow if you stair climb. Not wheelchair friendly if you need that. Next door is a church with many homeless people hanging around, but then again, this area has a fair amount of that anyway. The room was neat and reasonably comfortable, but thru-wall air conditioner had a medium loudness hum. This might be a good thing, since NYC is fairly noisy. The Wi-Fi was of decent quality, with no passwords or captive portals required. For the money and needs that we had, this was a good bargain.

The hotel was very clean and had very friendly waitstaff. Breakfast was a simple continental, but what you expect when it is included. I would stay here again on my next trip to Times Square.

The staff is very nice, for a boutique hotel, the room was a very good size, and very clean. Free continental breakfast in the mornings, and a 2 min walk to times square. For the price, it's very well worth it and we'll stay here again.

We stayed for a long weekend to see a couple shows and the stay was great! The beds were comfortable, the location was great, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. I would definitely stay here again. It was surprisingly quiet for the location and you could barely hear the church bell ring during the day, in the bathroom only. In the bedroom area it was vey quiet day and night.

Spent a week here. Location of the hotel is great and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance. Despite the bustle of Times Square our room was relatively quiet and opening the window did give a bit of fresh air (if not a lot of sunshine). A refrigerator in the room would have been nice though. Hotel is clearly on the budget side but everything was nice and clean. Hotel went through a major overhaul in recent years which has improved it significantly. Breakfast was not great but ok. Staff on the other side was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is. Ok. The location is fantastic! But the hotel itself seems outdated. The toilet kept running throughout the night and the shower water pressure varies depending on others using the shower. The price is good though.

Didnt even get there. The reservations got so screwed up with not only no help, a charge for a night we weren't even there. Terrible place. Keep looking.

Great location! The workers are really nice and helpful. I stayed there for almost two weeks and I'm glad I chose this hotel. The room has whatever you need: big comfortable bed, coffee, nice shower, very clean. I paid for a great location and a nice clean place to stay.

I travel a lot and stay at many hotels with mixed experience, but I do not typically provide reviews of my stay. In the case of my recent stay at the Broadway, it was the worst in my 20 years of travel anyplace. First, for those on a tight budget that want to be within walking distance to Times Square, this hotel satisfies that — the hotel is boutique and the rooms are ridiculously tiny, but it is close. Standing with my back against the bedroom wall, I could nearly touch the opposite wall! And, the window in the room opens to an adjacent brick wall that is about 12 inches away — really! This is shameful. Here's the reason I give the hotel such a poor rating — its about their service. In my recent 1 night stay, I arrived around 11am and was surprised that my room was ready. I had been traveling and wanted to freshen up before my all day meeting. Unfortunately, there was a sign in the lobby that read, "Sorry, due to construction, no water in any room until after 5pm". I asked the front desk clerk, "is this sign for real — I am only here for 1 day? ". She apologized and said water may be available earlier. Because I had to head to an all day meeting, it was actually less of an issue for me but I certainly think I should have been made aware of this issue before I booked the hotel (the day before). Here is the clincher — the next morning when checking out I ask to speak to the manager.

Midtown can be quite hit or miss. There are towering skyscrapers and sleek restaurants and hotels, and then there are the grittier places that hawk assorted goods and offer cash for gold. The Broadway @ Times Square Hotel belongs in the latter category. It's clearly on the budget side, for those who want to stay in Times Square but aren't willing to pay for even a mid-tier hotel. There are no fills to be found here.

Everything perfect there is no complaints.
