Nice Location! Asked for room to be cleaned — told had to ask 24 hours in advance — still did not clean. Did not bring extra trash bags and towels as asked either poor service.

My husband and I stayed here over the weekend. Room was clean and the bathroom was very nice — small, but it’s NYC, space is at a premium lol. I will include pictures of our room from our check out today. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. It is close to the theaters and I highly recommend the pizza place just a few doors down (Carniege Pizza).

Rooms a bit smaller than other Hampton Inns and only room cleaning on request due to Covid but location is great for the theater district. Staff friendly and obliging.

The staff here is the kindest we have ever had in NYC at the many places we have stayed. Sharelle, Fatima and Alex ESPECIALLY; but, everyone we encountered was genuine and kind. The rooms are New York in size and very clean; perfect for the few hours we spent here sleeping and eating breakfast. The view from rm 3101 is stunning with pink and blue sunset skies in the evening. We slept with the blinds open every night just basking in the lights of the city. The hotel is perfectly situated near Hell’s Kitchen and several subway stops. We will DEFINITELY stay here again!

Was there with my son for a baseball game. Our original reservation was cancelled two weeks before we were to travel. We searched and decided on Hampton. It was fantastic. Rooms were clean and nice size. Fantastic location and such friendly staff. Can not wait to return.

The rooms are very neat. The staff is very nice. I booked for one night and extended my stay for 4 more nights. I was very comfortable and please with the Hotel as a whole. ♥️

Super friendly, clean, beautiful city view.

The first room was filthy dirty. Nobody clean it or it was occupied because when I open the door their were boots.
everything was all over garbage everywhere. Towels on floor soda bottles. Dirty.

Only arrived yesterday afternoon for our wedding anniversary, so far so good, staff friendly and welcoming, Room is lovely and close to everything.

Short notice getaway. Comfy bed and great hospitality.
What didn’t like parking was too expensive not included $60.

We’ve just got back from a stay at this hotel and all I can say is we were sad to leave Lilly and Kris on the front desk were so accommodating and couldn’t be more helpful they were absolutely fantastic.
Geraldine and her team in the breakfast area were also brilliant our kids came down and Geraldine helped getting a few bits sorted so we had something to eat on our trip she has been awesome for our whole stay and I’d say she is a real credit to the hotel as are all the other staff. We have been asked a few times now will we come back to NYC and the answer is a yes and would we stay at the HITSC that’s a firm yes we can’t wait to come back very soon The Davey family.

I’ve always appreciated the fantastic customer service at Hampton Inn, but this staff exceeded the professionalism and courtesy of my previous experiences. Fantastic! Room and restroom were SPOTLESS, breakfast was, as usual, hot and filling. Brava!

“Wow what a wonderful hotel” this was our first trip to New York and not our last… we can’t wait to go back. We stayed here for 5 nights and 6 days from 21/04/2018 to 26/04/2018… all the staff that work here are wonderful and very helpful too… especially Geraldine Meehan, who works in the breakfast area, that we made great friends with during our stay, she was wonderful, helpful and so friendly with us, and we enjoyed our daily chats with her, we have even added her on Facebook to keep in touch… everyone was so kind, this is a friendly and warmly hotel to stay at for everyone. The rooms were cleaned daily, and were very clean. We had breakfast everyday which was included in our price, but what a good choice and selection to choose from, that would suit everyone at all ages… there was free hot chocolate, coffee, tea and water that you could help your self to daily by the reception, and if you missed breakfast, they were giving everyone a goodie bag, which also on reception every morning to help your self to… every evening there were baked cooked cookies, you could help your self as well, these were lush, and we looked forward to them every evening.

From the time we walked in the door, the service was superb. The staff was superior. It was our anniversary and when we got to our room on the 30th floor looking where we could see the Empire State Bldg, there was a goody bag with all kinds of items and a card hand signed by the staff. Very personable, I thought. That evening I received a text asking if there was anything we needed to further make our stay more comfortable.
We went down for the complimentary continental breakfast the next morning and it suited us just fine. A decent assortment and again, the staff was awesome.
They do have valet parking so very convenient. Another text the second evening to make sure everything was still going good and if we needed anything.
The location is perfect, it’s very clean. For NYC, I think the price was very reasonable especially for a holiday week. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Simply, a fantastic hotel with the staff, surroundings and asthetics. The 32st floor view is superb. The room is small but not too small. It's cozy and the view not to mention the great bathroom makes up for it. I highly recommend staying here.

If you are a vegetarian (as I am) or can't eat (as another family staying there) this is likely not a good option. They have no protein options as eggs have pork and the boiled eggs (if they have them — they had run out) are cold. When asked by the front desk how I liked my stay my response was "great except would suggest you make the omelettes vegetarian since you have sausage and bacon as extra protein options to be more inclusive. " The response I got was, "breakfast is complimentary so you didn't lose out. " Complimentary is a marketing term of art. The breakfast is included in the hotel room price point and in the customers economic decision of staying there. If you get a per diem breakfast is deducted when staying at a hotel with breakfast included. So no it is not complimentary. My suggestion to staff — when a customer makes a comment respond as follows, " thank you for your comments I will share with management and I am sorry that you were able to have breakfast two days in a row. " Regardless of whether you care or not.
