Excellent hotel in midtown Manhattan, ten to 15 minutes from Times Square. We had a clean and large room with two very comfortable beds. I loved staying here!

So far so good. Better than expected actually. Normally stay at chain hotels typically Hyatt,, but very happy here. Nice staff and clean room. Quiet hotel and the Tex Mex restaurant next door has really good food, though a limited menu. Will definitely come back.

The location of the skyline is great! It's a short walk to Times Square and Central Park. Staff was very helpful and nice. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Asked for a city view for my daughter and that's what they gave us. It was a beautiful! The view from the pool was also amazing! Another perk with this hotel is the parking you cannot find anywhere else in New York to park for the price and it is very convenient! Definitely will stay at the skyline again and would recommend it to everyone.

Older hotel for sure! But for the price, location and pool, it's decent. Sadly we have young children next door that woke us up extra early this morning. The pool hours are weird (7-10am &5-10pm), but it's nice that they provide towels and have a lifeguard on site. Everything is beyond dated but for the intent of sleeping and relaxing at the pool, it's done is good!

A nice, older hotel (decor a little "dated" but reminded me of my childhood in the 70s') The staff were all excellent. The room sizes were reasonable, great location and clean. Parking is right next door which was super convenient at check in and check out. I'd definitely stay here again.

Had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. It's only 3 star hotel but I LOVED their beds & pillows (Sooo comfortable). I've been in 5 star hotels that could not compare to this hotel's bedding. I also forgot something in my room and had to contact the hotel to find it and send it to me at my home. Kate got everything fixed and sent it to me. Great service. Thanks Kate. Thanks Skyline!

Outdated and ageing decoration, shower too small but nice service, friendly staff, swimming pool and gym.

We stayed for three nights at this hotel. The location is great. One has a great view and is in about 15 minutes at Times Square. For this period it was OK. There were 2 double beds and a bathroom with toilet and toilet. The sink was in a recess in the hallway area. There was also an open wardrobe, which was also used as a wardrobe. This room is not intended for longer stays. But for us it is quite sufficient. Nothing to complain about the cleanliness. The pool area offered a great view. For a short stay we would choose it again.

Large and comfortable rooms. Good location: Very close to Times Square but away from the excess of noise and people. It allows to walk to many places.

Absolutely loved staying here. Exactly what my partner and I were looking for. The beds were so comfy the best we have had on our travels and if I could have took them home I would lol. Only reason it's not 5 star is we missed having a kettle in our room for our cuppa in the morning.

Excellent hotel staff. Comfortable rooms and beds. Just love the location and ease of movement in Manhattan. Also, rooms with great views. Built in 60's.

Hotel very well located on foot of Times Square (10min), aircraft carrier Intrepid (10min), Central Park (15min). Great ChLa Indoor pool at the penthouse offers great views of New York.
Helpful staff. Good Mexican Restaurant nearby. Indoor parking with valet at $10 us. We were 2 adults and 2 children (8 and 11 years old)

Very nice hotel in Hell’s Kitchen with beautiful Skyline views from the PH heated Pool (there’s a changing room next to the pool) Pool area has a few tables and lounge chairs which makes it comfortable for a relaxing time. Skyline Hotel also offers a fitness room. The staff are friendly and parking was only $10 (can’t beat that price) everything is pretty close by. They have a restaurant connected to the hotel and offer room service or you can order take out. It was a great experience!

It’s a nice hotel the people are really nice. It’s nothing fancy. Remember it’s DOG FRIENDLY. Which was great for us but there was a dog smell. On some floors they must rent to low income people…

Wonderful hotel. Lobby and rooms and political have been totally renovated. Pool is clean and great water temperature (warm enough). Bed we had in King room was very comfortable.

Very nice and elegant hotel, I was here guest for a fashion show inside the New York fashion week. Very clean, really courteous staff and especially many guests with dogs in tow of different sizes. Good.

Best place to stay 1. Walkable distance to Times Square 2. Hotel has parking tie up it’s a great relief 3. We took boat ride near Lincoln tunnel. It’s walkable distance 4. Can keep the luggage in hotel after checkout with very very minimal rate, which really helped us Room service : not used, but who cares :)

The rooms are nice and clean and the beds are very comfortable. Our room was quiet (for New York standards), spacious and just perfect for our stay in general. There is no breakfast, but there's plenty of diners around that serve it (even throughout the entire day). There is a metro station pretty close that runs from uptown to downtown, which is very convenient.

Nice hotel, big rooms and clean, staff is welcoming, breakfast in the morning is just huge! Located a few blocks from time square damage by cons that there is no Wi-Fi in rooms.

I was in Vacatas in New York and the hotel is pretty central, catches near one of the corners of Central Park.

I can't say anything about the actual hotel part… But they host an open swim for a drowning preventing charity on certain weekends. What a great opportunity for city kids to enjoy the water!

Hotel with good location. Perfect as a starting location for City exploration. Many attractions are within walking distance. A few minutes to the subway. Pier practically just around the corner. Rooms have been a bit old but clean. We only used it for the night, so you are on the road all day.

Nice hotel that's walkable to many midtown attractions. The junior suite was a very nice size after I spent more money for much smaller rooms. The attached Tex Mex restaurant was good, too! Parking is only $10 for the day. I would absolutely stay there again.

We stayed in queen suite and enjoyed staying. Very kind stafF. Had discount on parking. Also we kept our luggage on hotel after check out till evening. This really help us to explore more in New York City. Thanks a lot.

Great value! We picked it because it was very close to an event we were attending and the price was good. Given the two we didn’t have very high expectations but we were so pleasantly surprised. We didn’t use the pool but checked it out and it was clean and bright. The parking is right here and only $10.00. The hotel it’s self is clean and the linens are nice. We would absolutely come back!

A very warm welcome beautiful pool on the roof of the building gym rather well located and quiet spacious room very clean grocery store down the hotel just in front affordable friendly staff.

Comfortable Hotel. Friendly staff at the hotel. Very good pool. The heating was not working and the air conditioner was hard to handle. There is only free Wi-Fi in the lobby but, you have to pay and expensive, the same if you want to use a PC there.

We love this hotel. Parking is cheapest in NYC but you have to leave your car parked during your stay. Indoor rooftop pool has cool views. Rooms are nice and rates are reasonable. Location is just 3 blocks from Times Square.

A moderate hotel. He's pretty well taken care of. Although it does not have much variety of entertainment.

Honestly, the room wasn’t too bad but I did not end up staying. I feel like I walked into another time period when I stepped into this hotel. It definitely felt like the 70s. We had a hard time with the room key and the lobby reeked of smoke. It looked like a murder mystery hotel Not my cup of tea, but if you’re looking to save a buck you may appreciate its lackluster presentation.

Not the first time we have stayed here and it won't be the last. Have a great view too. If you like Hells Kitchen this is a great place to stay.

Enjoyed my stay here very much. Did not get to experience anything from the pool but the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. Also pretty centered in nyc so a good choice in my opinion.

Nice and close to Times Square if you are ok to walk. Had a restaurant at the hotel but pricy. Great little interesting food places nearby. We had a king bed room — no couch or sofabed. As just a couple traveling that was perfect. The bed was ever so comfortable! Room and bathroom was clean.

I just checked in earlier afternoon today. I came back to my room trying to get to bed around 9pm. I found out there are some blood stain on my cover. I called the front desk. They told me they were going to send somebody over right now. A guy came over and handed me a blanket without saying anything. I asked him if they were going to change it out. He told me he guessed so very rudely and left. I am not a guy who write review or call front desk all the time.

We were in New York for less than 48 hours, with a lot to see, so didn't spend much time in the hotel! The room was comfortable, and the facilities adequate for what we needed. Pity they don't provide tea or coffee makers in the rooms, but they will provide a kettle on request. Staff friendly and helpful.

Hotel very friendly, living, clean… personal always available. Many things are nearby especially Times Square in 8mn. The hotel is located in a street where you can eat, have a drink, do small errands… Street very lively and noisy but it's normal!
Small negative but personal, the hotel is extremely air conditioned a real fridge at the reception however the unaired places are rather rare there! A habit to take.

Guests on my Olidaytours — private NYC Tours in German and English sometimes are staying at this hotel. It is more on the cheaper side, and the guests are actually happy. It is not right around the corner of Times Square or right next to Central Park, but it is also not too far away! A good option for your stay in NYC!

Com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around… My wife and I stayed here several nights during our New York stay. The rooms were very clean and room service was excellent. The front desk help is very pleasant, and the concierge service was extremely easy to use. I was even given a room upgrade. I will definitely be staying here again!

Firstly I'd like to say that the staff were fabulous. We had some issues with our AC upon arrival and were promptly given a different, larger room. The front desk was helpful and all were friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Although the furnishings could use some TLC. I love the neighbourhood and the proximity to the park etc. That said, we won't be staying here again because we felt the management of the hotel is gouging their guests. I totally get it, travelling is expensive and so is NYC but as an international traveller I was annoyed to have to pay $3/Day for Wi-Fi in our room (per device) and the pool was closed during the day much to the dismay of my 8 year old. We weren't in our room a lot but for 5 days those little things became more annoying and added up. We also asked to leave our bags with the bell man before leaving to catch our flight and they charged us $1 per bag. That was also annoying. It's the little things that added up for me.

Great hotel. I'm not sure what I liked the most; the pot smell of the room (I'm not against it, I just had a 4 and a 1 year old with me), the toilet that wouldn't flush, the AC that didn't work, the cold showers, the rude staff, or the parking attendants that yelled at everyone. The only positive was a good location.

Location & better price make this hotel a decent option. It's a bit on the seedy side.

The room (in our case upfront to 10th Avenue, so we in fact had a view of NY skyline) was clean, had a nice bathroom, for NYC quite spacious but without any extras (a coffee machine or water boiler would have been nice). Air condition was effective enough, but very loud, so it had to be turned off for sleep. The doors and walls don't keep off the noise from other rooms nor the floor, so depending on your neighbours and time of day it can and will get noisy. Staff was very nice. It is no issue that you have to pay for Wi-Fi access, as there is free internet throughout the lobby, where you can comfortably stay for a while. Despite the disadvantages, we would consider to return there for our next trip.

Hotel very close to Central Park, Times Square and the High line. The room was very well and for those who come to NY by car, parking is at the same hotel for $ 10 per day!

Pretty decent hotel, rooms are comfortable and staff are helpful. No qualms.

AVOID THIS PLACE! Heater broke on our first night there in Late November it was freezing in our room and they sent a security guard (not maintenance) in to fix our heater. He took one look at it said he doesn't know how to fix it and gave us a space heater instead. We had to use the space heater our entire stay of 4 nights. No free Wi-Fi No coffee No laundry. Staff was very rude and laughed at me when I asked about coffee in the morning. Our room was a suite and the wall separating the rooms wasn't even attached to the exterior wall there was a two inch gap and you could hear everything anyone in the room said no matter where they were, and you could hear everything the guy in the room next to you said. We had a 3 beds 5 adult occupants and only ever got 2 towels had to call every day for more. The only view of the city skyline is from the pool and you have to crane your neck out a window and around a corner to see it. All the other views are alley ways. The TV in the main bedroom was broken (could only get a fuzzy picture) and the staff apologized but couldn't do anything to fix it and offered nothing for our troubles. I don't mind if your busy and things are going wrong as long as you try to make it right. This place is the equivalent of a Motel 6 if you tripled the price and staffed it with lazy assholes.

For a tour of Manhattan, hotel is superbly placed to 15 min walk to Broadway;
The breakfast is plentiful and allow to start visits in good conditions;
In the rooms, bedding is excellent.

The Wi-Fi is not complimentary and there is no water or boiler in the room. The windows and the walls are not soundproof so you can somehow clearly hear the noises from the street or the room next to you. HOWEVER, considering it is such a relatively cheaper hotel in the city it worth the money. It is about 10-15 minutes walk to Time Square, and less time to the subway station. Just be sure to bring your own water when you check in.

The worst hotel PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE! The rooms are horrible and the manger name libon was the rudest human being alive. My pregnant wife need to use the bathroom and he didn't let her and he was absolutely horrible she was crying and he did not even care that she was crying and he was so raciest because we were brown we had the worst time please if you're reading this don't go to this hotel.

Beware, stay as far away as you can. Hotel staff was very inattentive and rude. Felt like I was wasting their time. Heater was broken and took 30 minutes for them to send someone up. Maintenance guy shows up and saids nothing he can do. Refused to change my room even though it had no heat. Found bed bugs on the bed and had a terrible night of sleep. Staff acted like they dont even know what bed bugs were. Smelled of sewage also. Voiced my concerns throughout the entire stay (2 days) and staff refused to acknowledge my existence and just ignored me.

First time in NYC. The hotel is in good location. Staff is helpfull. Did not eat in so no comment. Downstairs club/pub gets buisy on the weekend. Overall 7.5/10.

The website and the actual hotel are day and night this hotel was HORRIBLE! We checked in and got to our room it smelled like mold and mildew, there was black mold in the bathroom, smelled like a sewer. The beds were hard, rug was dirty and dingy, the photos on the wall was out dated and faded, I would not suggest this place to my worst enemy over all nasty place! Elevators were small and slow, hall ways dark and narrow, pool was open for limited hours, window was leaking, The web site made it looked like a fancy high class place and it was a low class bad experience.

Clean comfy rooms. Nice people. Proximity to attractions was great. Older hotel. No coffee makers, everything seems a la cart here. Good for family stay although pool was closed unexpectedly. They gave us access to another hotel down on 42nd.

Cheap parking for the four days of our stay. Clean rooms and Nice staff. Central location, but still quiet.
