Just bad! Be careful! It’s super dirty and old! There are nicer hotels for a similar price… Just disappointed.

Great location — many important places can be easily walked without problems. Comfortable rooms with everything you need. Taking a room with a kitchen — a good set. Nearby there are a bunch of grocery stores and cafes.

Do not stay here. This place nearly ruined our vacation but months of persistence later we have prevailed. The place bills itself as a Limited Service Hotel. What that means: you do not have a front desk nor dedicated housekeeping in exchange for a lower price. You instead have one person working at a desk in the hallway for a limited number of hours and a number to call with problems (which no one answered when we called). I didn't know about the limited staffing hours and due to some logistics we let them know we'd be arriving to NYC by car around 10pm. The gentleman who checked us in (by taking a picture of our credit card and my licence) was kind and his customer service was good. He left for the night (he stayed later waiting for us to arrive, which I appreciate). The only problem, the room was only surface cleaned. Pulling back the bed spread and walking in the bathroom, we found lots of hairs from the previous guest, called the number to report a problem and received no answer at all. My wife would not even sit down, we called Expedia (who tried unsuccessfully to contact them) and checked in next door. The hotel tried to keep the three nights of fare, even after I tried resolving them several times. Eventually, I had to get the Attorney General and Department of Consumer Affairs involved as well as my credit card company's dispute resolution department. I was not really angry if someone messed up or didn't clean well, employees make mistakes.
