A must do! Bring your kids teach them about a horrible day in history that brought a whole nation together as one. Some very sad parts and so many more stories of heroism. It was very somber and brought back so many memories and feelings from that day. So glad I got to see this in person!

It was an amazing experience.
I wish they had more about the hunt for Bin Laden, the war on terror and the soldiers lost and less about the terrorist who committed the attacks.

An amazing museum. The time to go is now. It is empty. An amazing dedication to one of the most tragic events of out country. Never Forget.

Made the mistake of visiting this lackluster museum. One of the docents was extremely rude, hostile, and aggressive. I'm so very sorry a grown man has made such poor choices in life that he's a minimum wage worker in a not-very-good museum, but that is no excuse for him being abusive and racist. As for the the museum itself, it's essentially just chunks of collapsed buildings with a poor narrative backing it. Not worth the money at all… skip it. And a word of advice to the museum: rein in your sarcastic, jaded workers. I will never be back and I will actively discourage anyone from going.

Good location, subways near, clean room, clean towels, enough hot water in the shower, very comfy beds and our room was right next to railways, it did not bother us, we got good sleep every night and we spent ten days there! Nice staff, we got restaurant recommendation, and it was good! (Restaurant Room service). Thank you very much, maybe I come back some day! ❤️

Not a bad hotel. The rooms are small but clean. The location is amazing! It's in the heart of Chinatown and it's so much fun to walk the neighborhood. The train runs right outside, but the noise reduced to a low rumble like a strong forced air system. If you are from a rural area that is really quiet at night it might bother you.

The staff was friendly and the room with two double beds was roomy compared to other hotels in the area. The price was affordable and we ended up getting the last room. VLocation is right next to the train but we managed to have a quiet night. My complaints were overlooking garbage cans that were overflowing and the carpets in the room looked dirty. The beds were clean and comfortable. White sheets and linen helped.

We had a really comfortable stay here over the last 4 days. The hotel has every facility you could want including airport transfers and a coin operated laundry. Housekeeping and reception were great and the location is unbeatable for the price. I’d definitely stay here again.

Excellent value for money location in New York.

Very basic and a little shabby but gets the job done. You get what u pay for as it is very affordable but again, NO FRILLS! Staff were friendly and helpful. If you are squeamish about your surroundings then stay somewhere else. If you are in NYC and just need a bed then it's fine.

Cleaning staff very courteous and polite. Many places to eat just outside. Train station next door might be considered loud for those who don't live in a city. Subway stations are near and gives you quick access to all of Manhattan.

Very good service & the rooms are clean and spacious. Right middle of Chinatown so I'm not too far off from all the action. They provide free coffee and ice for guests.

They're very kind to you. The hotel lacks a bit of maintenance, it shows that it is old, but to go to sleep snaps. It is located in Chinatown, there are food businesses close to the place, banks, as well as public transport.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, cleaning OK. Unfortunately our window was slightly broken so you had to watch it when you pushed it upwards. Subway close about 2 blocks.

Nice place to stay in China Town. The only issue is that it takes forever for the shower to warm up. Also, after a few days here you notice the rooms are feel stuffy and humid. It's definitely not the weather's fault since it's been super cold.

The hotel is at a good price but you should consider it is in the Chinatown which is quiet but you do have to walk like 15 minutes to the nearest metro for from there go to the points of interest in NY.

It's my second stay in New York (first in this hotel) the first time was in a 4 star very inferior to this one at all. I would recommend it all, the location, here you feel the real new York and not the Times Square, the price very cheap, the super comfy bed, the room and super clean facilities, free coffee and tea on the second floor with USB charger for mobile, Wi-Fi in the room, very friendly staff, Metro very close, food too (recommend pizza as you go right at about 300 meters charming Mexican owner) do not hesitate to choose this hotel.

Class hotel in the heart of Chinatown. We have been relying on the positive reviews and have not been disappointed. The hotel is well located, right on East Broadway and adjacent to the Manhattan Bridge. This is the only point where the ghosts will divorce you. After all, the subways and the corresponding sound backdrop go through the bridge. For those who have a light sleep, this hotel is rather not suitable. Everyone else will find a hotel with very attentive staff, very clean rooms and bathroom, every day fresh towels and vending machine in the hallway. We felt very comfortable here. Unfortunately there was no closet in the room, just a wardrobe. For a week the space in the room is quite sufficient. Also very nice: it is only a 5 minute walk to the subway station. Even at night the area is relatively safe, we were often on foot after midnight.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Located in Chinatown, the hotel has everything you need for your stay. I would recommend it more than anything for people who spend all day visiting places and at night prefer to rest well. The neighbourhood is quiet at night and the soundproofed rooms guarantee a full rest.

For the price it's not bad. It's a very small bare bone room. The view faces straight at the Manhattan bridge. You can see bikers and bikers can see your face. It's that close. Some people find it interesting, some might find it weird. I don't remember much noise coming from the subway. So yes, you are close to the F train and tons of restaurants and pharmaceutical stores. Right in Chinatown.

Very spacious rooms. Helpful bed. Clean. Iron, hair dryer. The only downside is that there are no cabinets, only colgagores and shelves in the air. Cleaning OK. Recommended.

Hotel was in a good location, clean and tidy. Close to public transport and walking distance to Brooklyn Bridge. Yes it’s by a train overpass but if you jam pack your days like we did all we cared about was a safe and clean place to sleep as we were that tired. I’d definitely stay here again.

The only downside is the sound of the subway passing through the Washington Bridge. The rest phenomenal. Very good location, good cleanliness, change of sheets and towels, tea and coffee free, good Wi-Fi…

Good value for money, the hotel is a bit strange, but our room was always well clean, the beds are very comfortable and the air conditioner works very well.

Really lovely staff, big rooms and bathrooms, there's free coffee and tea along with hot water at reception. The staff are really friendly and helpful, you can store your luggage with them after you check out for no extra fee. You can hear the subway but unless you are a incredibly light sleeper it shouldn't really effect you. Also if you get a taxi from the airport always check your price They're probably overcharging you it should be about $45 dollars. You can always ring the hotel and ask if you can pre-arrange transport as they work with a cab company.

Very good value for money hotel, authentic and safe Chinatown, very well located metro, Wall Street next door, Brooklyn Bridge etc.
Staff friendly, room always clean, TV with very good chain AMC FX USA National Geographic. Good Chinese restaurant next door with a hygiene mention. On the last day the front desk keeps your luggage free to enjoy tranquility.

Staff is very friendly and we could even change the room for free because the TV did not work! Great Hotel:D

I have only rated 3 stars. This downside — very noisy. The subway was right by our window. I didn't sleep for 3 nights really. Try and ask for a room away from the subway. Chinatown wasn't a great area for us but felt safe enough. Just quite a walk from main New York so definitely get the subway. Hotel room was warm and couldn't open the window (not that you would want too). Staff were friendly and it was clean enough. Just think carefully about where you're staying when coming to this amazing city.

The staff are very helpful and attentive. The site is, in my opinion, beautiful. Take a walk in the early morning… On the other hand New York, in general, as well as this neighborhood, is a bit noisy. You have to get used to it.

Staff very friendly and available, very comfortable and clean rooms, close to everything, located in a very popular area but not dangerous. Next to the Manhattan bridge so a little noisy. Hot water, coffee and milk available (free) on 2nd floor. To recommend for small budgets or for those who want another postcard from new York than Times Square.

Clean and modern Hotel In a middle area away from the center, but well connected by the subway F. There is coffee available all day on the 2nd floor and there are vendors and ice in the 4th grade. He also has a laundromat. Staff very friendly and polite and helpful. Comfortable beds, showers that work perfectly.

Hotel is very clean, you can tell that they put a lot of attention into making it a good stay for their guests. When we checked in to the front desk they even called someone from maintenance to take us up to our rooms on a service elevator because another family was going down using the main one. The cleaning staff handles everything quick and are nice to interact with. It would be a hard sell to get me to stay anywhere else now after having such a great first time here.

Excellent stay. I was concerned that the railway right next to the hotel would be too loud, but the room had two windows with space in between to block out noise so it didn't bother us at all. The room was clean and simple but had everything we needed. There was also a vending machine with a good selection of snacks. The corridors were very quiet at night and was very close to the subway station.

The hotel is clean, the rooms are very simple but enough considering the time you spend there. The hotel is pretty well located, the Grand Street station is less than a 10 minute walk away. You will find yourself right in the heart of Chinatown. It is a very lively area but also quite dirty. But we're safe there. Our room was on the side of the Manhattan Bridge on which the subway passes. He did not disturb me and you will hear him spend the night. The hotel has no parking but you will find one within 2 minutes on foot guarded and guarded 24/7. From 35 to $40 per day. Finally the staff at the reception was rather unsympathetic but it is not something that I have lingered on.

Weird lay out of the hotel, but a very clean nice room. The train runs right outside the window, not so bad though! Still got a good night sleep. Decent location, although it was a little trashy… smelly Chinatown ya know…

This hotel is a little quirky, but the location and price are hard to beat. Our room was bigger than expected, very clean, with a lovely view of Chinatown. Yes, it is very close to the Manhattan Bridge, but the double windows mask most of the noise. The area is very close to Lower Manhattan, and is a bit gritty, but not too unsafe if you're smart about it.

Great little hotel in the lower east side/Chinatown area on Manhattan. It was clean and comfortable and despite being next to the Manhattan bridge, the trains did not keep us up at night. The hotel doesn't have a lot of amenities, but to be honest… did you come for the hotel or did you come to see New York? Great location, walking distance to lots of trendy areas, restaurants, cocktail bars and the subway is nearby as well. I enjoyed staying in more of a 'local' area as opposed to somewhere like Times Square, which is a giant tourist trap. Staff were friendly, they were quick to make a repair in our room, they stored my luggage and booked me a car for my early flight out of JFK to home.

8/017 In Chinatown. $30. Per day parking 2 blocks over on Henry, not far at all. It was small & simple, but clean! 2 Twin beds, TV, with desk & nightstand, Ironing board, hairdryer in bathroom, luggage rack. Our room 701 had two double pane windows that looked right on to the Manhattan Bridge / subway, surprisingly it was quite. Offers coffee & Tea, vending machine. Coined Laundry machine on the 7th floor. Hotel staff was helpful finding a good Japanese restaurant — Joe Shanghai on Pells St — we actually went with another hotel guest. Subway is super close. We walked back from the Statue of Liberty tour within 20 minutes. Very convenient location.

Hotel 91 is a fantastic place to stay in Chinatown, near delicious dining options, shopping, and convenient to a few subway stations. The rooms are cozy with comfortable beds. The train runs next to the building but the noise is not too disruptive. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel that deserves two stars, I put the third star because in Manhattan is not much better, if not nothing at that price. The hotel is located in full Chinatown, the Chinese district of New York which is a peripheral area compared to the central Times Square, however there is a metro stop close enough to about 200 meters leading into Midtown.
There are several points in favor: friendly and helpful reception staff, relatively low price to be in Manhattan, comfortable enough bathroom, room cleaning with daily towel change; As for the minus points I would say: room with a little cramped carpet, window practically non existent that you can not open and from which does not enter light, bed too small and narrow, zero closets in which to rest clothes, hotel located close to an elevated Where trains pass every 3 minutes (in honor of the real after a while ' You also do the habit but the noise you hear).
Overall I would say that this hotel is good for those who do not have many demands and is willing to give up some comfort to save, it is better to avoid it if you have little spirit of adaptation and you are looking for a little more quality spending of course a bit ' more.

The Metro is really noisy. The hotel is located in Chinatown. Good cleaning staff available.

The location is not too notable. In Chinatown and the streets smell fatal, garbage. The only good thing at this point is that is close to the bridge from manhattan and brooklim. The rooms are big strong. Spacious, huge, super comfortable beds, and perfectly insulated from external noises. It service not is neither good nor bad, complies with it expected.

Wonderful place to stay for a vacation to the city! Great location in Chinatown! Subway and bus stops not too far, and a lot of good food in the area. The bakery next door has amazing coffee and breakfast pastries for a steal. Hotel 91 offers great discounts and deals if you are staying longer than 3 days, we got 30% off per night for a 5 night stay. The staff is so friendly and accommodating too! We were able to get early check in on our first day (normal check in is 3pm, we were able to go into our room at about 12:30pm). But if early check in is not available, they will store your bags for you free of charge so you can go do some exploring in Chinatown or wherever you may wish. They will do the same for checkout — they let us checkout an hour later with no additional charge (normal checkout 11am), and they stored our luggage for free while we went to grab lunch. They will arrange shuttles to the airport for you at a great cost. Rooms were very clean, spacious bathrooms, air conditioning, good Wi-Fi. Really comfy beds, maid service was very friendly and excellent. I lived in New York for 3 years for school, so the noise from the trains on the Manhattan Bridge didn't bother me. Super satisfied with the service here, will definitely book here again for future trips to the city.

In China town. Our room was literally right across the train so it didn't make for good sleep. Room was clean. Front desk girl was a little lost and made us wait 2 unnecessary hours for our room to be cleaned.

The room is clean but smell throughout the hotel to Chinese food and passes a train or subway every 5 minutes right next to the hotel with their corresponding noise. But for the price you can not ask more.

It is a clean hotel with very friendly and helpful personnel in the heart of China Town right near the Manhattan Bridge. Central location is really an advantage, but there is a reason for this hotel being cheaper then others. The noise from the trains passing the bridge is impressive. It is not the noise really, the whole building is vibrating so you will not be able to escape it in some other room, no reason to try to change the room :-) I would have never thought that I would be able to sleep there, but the vibration is constant and it makes your brain shut down really nicely. Maybe having your beloved ear plugs still would help.

Good stay, pleasant customer service, Wi-Fi in rooms basic bathrooms and 2 big beds in my room. Nice little area didn't really hear the trains at night and I was on the free coffee floor.

It's LITERALLY beneath the train track! And it's awful neighborhood with ask the stores cash only! I boo to those stores and walk away… Your call! It's cheap and that's why I got a room there, but it wasn't worth it all, even for the price they offer rooms. I must say it's expensive.

Nothing special, but nothing terrible either. Ample sized room. Good choice for budget travelling. Noise from trains on the bridge are not too loud and provide a nice amount of white noise, which is good because the walls seem a tad too thin and you can easily hear your neighbours if they're being loud.

Somebody stole from our room. I've stayed at Hotel 91 a dozen times. I always had a good experience. But on 12/3/15 I found something missing from my room after I went out for the night. The hotel staff checked the entry log to my room and it confirmed that someone had entered with a key card while I was not there (Not during cleaning hours). The staff treated this situation like it was trite, but still reimbursed me $15 for the item stolen from my bag. I encourage anyone who uses this hotel to setup a camera while they are out of their room.

Subway noise right outside takes a bit of time to get used to but overall not too bad. It's right in the middle of China Town shops but close to Brooklyn which was our goal. Great value and cool amenities like free Wi-Fi, computer to use with printer.

Entirely respectable room, few other hotel facilities. Surprisingly quiet. Strongly recommended. Area is dubious, but part of the charm.

First of all: chinatown is a terrible place to stay. It is loud, crowded and smells like fish during daytime. Well situated, at least. But this hotel truly is a silent oasis with a bizarre atmosphere of peace as soon as you enter the building. Just great! The staff is polite and helpful, the rooms and the lobby are absolutely clean. The vending machine offers a wide range of cold drinks. Plus, there is free coffee and tea. We were entirely satisfied with the hotel, although it may get a bit loud at night since the building is next to manhattan bridge with its trains. But they did a good job at the rooms's sound insulation. Negative: We were on floor 7 and did not have Wi-Fi. They said they were fixing it, but it did not change.

Simple clean room at a very reasonable price, great location with lots to eat around. Some object to the noise of the subway overhead next door but it's not really an issue as I'm used to city noises. The subway is very nearby and on a direct line to Rockefeller square so easy to get around.

It is simple and cheap. Very close to many places. The beds are comodisimas.

My daughter and I stayed her in January 2011, although the rooms were small, they were clean and functional. The railway line next door was not a problem. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only real problem we had was that it was nearly impossible to get a cab to take you back there in the evenings after a day of exploring the city. The majority of the cabs, when they heard the address, just drove off. The hotel itself was great though.

In heart of chinese town, clean but noisy.

Everything is fine here except for one very big thing — — it is right next to the train tracks. The rooms are so loud that sleep is impossible, even with ear plugs. Now I see why they have a no cancellation policy.

Wifi didn't work at the beginning. Everthing else was good.

I've stayed in Hotel 91, in the heart of Chinatown, for three years running, having previously struggled to find anything in NYC that I consider value for money. I really like Hotel 91, love the neighbourhood and, while it's not the world's greatest hotel, it offers great value for money and is very affordable. Chinatown is not somewhere I'd visit often, but it's a vibrant place to stay and there are plenty of options here and in nearby Little Italy to eat both for breakfast (none at the hotel) and in the evening. I've always found the staff to be friendly, the rooms are clean and it feels very safe. However, there are a few things to watch out for. The first is the rooms themselves. Although they're not small, in order to fit into the building, which is a very strange shape, the rooms often have weird layouts. Two out of three times the room hasn't had a usable desk and the third time I had to rearrange the furniture! The second is the internet, which while free, has its drawbacks. Although there is wireless, I've found it to be very patchy so if your only internet capable device is a smart phone or tablet, you could be in for a frustrating time! While there is an ethernet cable outlet in each room, two times out of three the outlet was about 10m away from the desk! So, if using your laptop is important to you, be prepared to sit on the bed with it on your lap, bring your own 10m long cable or move the furniture!

Relatively inexpensive yet modest hotel in Chinatown, New York. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and there was free Wi-Fi. Also, on our last day we were able to leave our luggage at the reception at a charge of $2 per large item. Location is excellent, too: for example, Canal Steet Subway and Little Italy within 15-20 minutes walk.
