Great location, amazing staff, very clean, comfortable & love the decor!

Stayed here for business mid week and found Bowery 50 to be wonderful. Part of the Hyatt Collection, check in was a breeze and I found a wonderful view on the 19th floor. The room was clean, comfortable and cute! Nice coffee was served in the morning along with some fruit and newspapers. This hotel is located right between Chinatown and Little Italy so you are steps away from excellent cuisine! I'll definitely stay here again.

Currently no restaurants but food can be ordered for delivery and collected from the lobby.
Rooms are comfortable.

We had a wonderful Holiday there. The Room was nice and quiet. The Roomservice did a great Job and everything was totally clean. The Rooftop is wonderful with a great View to Empire State Building an Manhattan Bridge. The Coffee taste wonderful early in the Morning :-) Everyone was really friendly and gave us Information to all Questions. Thanks a lot :-) (y)

Loved it so much, we stayed 12 nights. Originally only booked 6, but after visiting many other hotels we decided we were already at the best one.
Helpful and friendly staff. At the door, behind the desk or wherever we ran into them. They arranged a car for us to the airport and we were able to freshen up before our trip as we had a very late flight.
Will definitely stay here again.
Location is great right at the entrance of the Manhattan bridge. Easy walk to Brooklyn like the locals.

Laundromat right behind the hotel on Elizabeth street. Just take a right as soon as you walk out of hotel and go into the first alley way (2 doors down) then left at the end of the alley and second set of stairs going down.

An absolute gem of a hotel in the Chinatown district. The hotel has a modern warehouse feel to it and is spacious (for New York standards). The staff are very friendly, and always willing to assist in anything you need. It’s 5 stars from me!

This hotel was charging me on the Accommodation fee which I already prepaid and mini bar fee which I never touch anything, WITHOUT my notice. When I tried to contact the hotel, the staff attitude is very rude and unprofessional!

Excellent service. Cool, hip vibe. Lobby smells amazing. Awesome art throughout including in the room. Rooftop terrace is an amazing view. Very affordable rates and they price match anything online. Couldn’t say better about the hospitality and service I received from the staff. They are all pleasant and accommodating if I needed something. Went beyond your typical service in my opinion.

Highly recommend! Dont eat Asian fusion food much, but Rice & Gold is off the charts. Rooftop Bar has one of the best 360 views in the whole city and good atmosphere. Dog friendly. Rooms are cool, good size, great quality. Super friendly staff. Easy to get to BK and subway station isnt too far of a walk. 5

Cool place to stay, chic, stylish and so friendly. If you want stuffy, old school brass and marble stay away. Staff just go one step further and the place is like a home from home. The bar on the roof was awesome and the restaurant was very good, don't expect burgers and fries. Little Italy was just around the corner so you get old and new here side by side. Full of models the day we left.

Great hotel and staff. Caitlin on reception gave us some great recommendations of places to eat when we checked in. Rooms are clean and stylish. Bar has great views of the city with two outdoor terraces.

Fabulous and truly dog friendly. We had a fantastic stay from 17-19 May as we emigrated from the U. K. To the USA and planned our elopement in NYC! The reception staff and concierge (Adam and Patrick) were all excellent and extremely helpful and full of energy to help. We had two cocker spaniels with us and were incredibly impressed with their dog friendly approach — no room fee, provided lush beds and Bark boxes full of toys and treats. The rooms were well appointed and I forgot to buy the robe before we left as they were so soft and funky. Even when we didn’t have the greatest breakfast next door, they knew, comp’ed the fee and were apologetic. They celebrated our wedding by providing complimentary champagne and even allowed the dogs in the rooftop bar! We were delighted that our first few days in the US were at Hotel 50 Bowery. We will be staying here again and can’t recommend them enough.

Visited just the rooftop bar, didn't stay at the hotel. The bar is beautiful. View is amazing, service is good. They got a dj playing music starting before sunset and overall very high end ambiance and atmosphere. Highly recommended for the amazing view all the way uptown and of the financial district.

Truly loved our stay. Decor was lovely, rooms were roomy and the rooftop bar was fantastic! Only negative was the strong perfume odor always present in the lobby. But I would absolutely stay again.

Let me start off by saying that I did not stay in this hotel, I was in the area and was looking for a quiet rooftop bar to have a beer and enjoy the views. I walked into the lobby and was greeted immediately, and they were more than happy to show me the way to elevator. My immediate thoughts were, friendly, clean and welcoming. The staff at bar were equally as welcoming. The view is amazing! Very comfortable sitting area with couches & tables. I got there around 2pm on a weekday and it was not crowded. When I left around 5pm it looked like they were getting ready for the happy hour crowd and put on some music. I believe I have found my new favorite NYC spot! My one small complaint, they need a better beer menu, only had an IPA on draught (which I forgot name of but I was good) and some basic bottled stuff (coors, Heineken, corona, etc…) I would have liked more variety with the view!

Yes yes yes! I don't know where to begin about this hotel.

PROS: Clean rooms and great bed. Staff was terrific and my handicapped husband said it was the nicest handicapped bathroom and shower he's ever been in. Great climate control, very quiet. CONS: Room could have used overhead lighting. The room is very dimly lit and a little small. The lunch, 1 Burger, 1 chicken sandwich, FF and 1 iced tea, with tip, was very overpriced at $50. All in all we are very happy we picked this hotel.

I have not stayed in the hotel but I've been to Crown rooftop and Green Lady at this hotel. Both places are nice. Crown rooftop has nice ambiance and views. Perfect date spot and if you're lucky try catching a special event there Green Lady is a sexy lounge for dancing and I had a lot of fun there.

The hotel itself is nice and the rooms were very clean, but it's truly the staff that makes this place a gem. The entire front desk is so lovely, to name just a few Vaughn and Elyse were amazing all throughout our stay and even before we arrived. Patrick and Adam were great concierges as well! Everyone there made my husband's birthday so special and I'm so grateful. In an industry where hospitality is everything they encompassed all a hotel stay should be and more. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Attended a rooftop event here. Food was delicious, bartenders were quick and courteous, and venue was altogether quite nice. My only complaint is that the outdoor area could be better utilized in the winter by providing heating. The view was beautiful, but I couldn't stand to be outside for more than a minute. Perhaps adding insult to injury, the only thing outside was ice cream! On the whole, though, it was a very enjoyable event and venue.

I’m torn on how to rate this hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. My complaint is a big one though and we will not be staying at this hotel in the future because of it. We were on the 11th floor, several floors beneath the rooftop deck, and the music from the bar was so obnoxiously loud that we could hear it in our room. When we laid our heads on our pillows they literally vibrated from the bass. Because of this, neither of us got any …sleep. The music didn’t stop until 4:30am so both of us were miserably tired on our travel home. If you are heading to NYC to party and plan on staying out until the bars close then you will love this hotel. However, if you are hoping to get any sleep then I’d find a different hotel or demand that they place on you on the lowest floor possible. I am not one to leave negative reviews, but to have an atmosphere so loud that your guests can’t sleep seems counterintuitive.

Exceeded my expectations! Location was good. Service was fantastic. Beds were perfect. Rooms were great and rooftop bar was awesome. I will definitely return next time I am in NYC.

We really enjoyed our stay at the 50 Bowery Hotel. Great and prompt service. Clean hotel and rooms. Rooms / bathrooms we spacious considering it is a NYC hotel. LOVED getting room service from rice and gold, only downside was you were charged a $5 device fee plus hotel tax. But other than that we will definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself is amazing. Guest services, all the staff were extremely polite. Super clean, good space and all you need for an NYC trip. The subway is alittle far (5-10 minute walks, depending which line you need), and the neighborhood isn't the greatest but you are still in Manhattan (walking distance to lower Manhattan) and it leaves you really close to a Brooklyn bridge walk! Overall our stay was great and couldn't give less then a 5 star for things that we knew going into the trip! The accommodations and staff were incredible!

Check in late and night to an amazingly positive staff member at 1am in the morning after a very long flight and he cheered us up and set the tone for our view of the hotel. The hotel location is really good about 25 min walk to One World Trade Centre in one direction and 25 mins walk to Gran Central / Empire State building the other way. It's is located on the edge of Chinatown at the end of the Manhattan bridge with Little Italy 60 second walk around the corner. The hotel is very modern and trendy, beds are really comfortable and rooms are spacious and well laid out. I would highly recommend the hotel especially for couples.

Very good luxury 5 star hotel.

Very new hotel in Chinatown with very nice rooms. Bathrooms are excellent. Staff was ultra friendly and treated me like a repeat guest that they knew, with multiple people remembering my name even though it was my first stay in the hotel. Only a few blocks from City Hall and the federal and state courthouses. Interesting upscale asian restaurant attached… There are better local joints as far as food, but decor and cleanliness level is much nicer than anything I have been to in the area.

My wife and I loved this place. A cool/funky/friendly hotel. Very attentive and welcoming staff. The views from the two large balconies on the top floor were Spectacular, one facing mid-town (Empire State Building) and the other facing Lower Manhattan (One World Trade Center, Brooklyn Bridge). Would come back in a heart beat. This was our first trip to NYC. Staying here was a highlight.

Nice new hotel with great view of you are staying on your floors but the service is really not up to the price you pay for it. It took almost two days to get a room card because of the system issues. Another issue was room service — room want cleaned twice during my 5 days stay. You can find better hotel in the area for this price.

I wish I had the opportunity to stay at 50 Bowery longer. I loved my stay. I was greeted with iced green tea in the lobby and a warm accommodating staff. The rooftop was gorgeous, I invited some friends to hang out there and had a fun time (usually nyc rooftops are a bit of a battle). One reviewer mentioned the bar requiring bottle service but I didn't encounter the same instance when we sat outside. Beds were very comfortable, shower pressure was perfect. Personally, I loved the location, it's by most of my favorite places in the city, and I was still able to get to where I needed for work in the morning very quickly. Huge plus for me: the coffee at the morning's rooftop breakfast bar was actually very good. Got my work done, had a lot of fun, and a perfect night's rest!

Amazing hotel! The staff are incredibly friendly and the rooftop has fantastic 360 degree views of Manhattan and Brooklyn. I'd recommend going to the patio past the washrooms.

We initially planned to stay only for 3 days at 50 Bowery, but extended to 6 days, as it was so great. Best hotel I've ever stayed in NYC. Will definitely come back!

Love this hotel! The décor, staff and accommodations were all five star. The staff went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of at all times. One of my favorites was waking up to go to the rooftop breakfast. The views are amazing. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. I didn't want to go home. Staying here made my trip all the more memorable. I will definitely be back!

This is an amazing hotel easy to find with not a high cost and with amazing bedrooms available for all kind of family and also great food and amazing views from the rooftop where you can have a delicious breakfast and enjoy of the good music and a big kind of drinks that you can have every night. This hotel its new and its getting better any day, I really love it and I know all of you will love too. 5 stars for this place, come and live the experience.

Excellent stylish hotel! Great location in the transformed and now vibrant Bowery district. My view of Manhattan was spectacular and the staff could not have been more helpful. Always going the extra mile. They even delivered an electric kettle to my room so that I could brew up some tea which for this Englishman in New York was quite delightful! All in all a wonderful experience and I look forward to returning soon!

This hotel just opened a few months before my stay. Rooms were typical size with nice finishes. Rooftop bar is cool with nice views, but to sit outside you have to order a minimum of two bottle services. One issue (for me) is that instead of irons and ironing boards in the room, they provide steamers. That doesn't really cut it for clothing that has been folded up in a suitcase for a long trip. Other than that, good new hotel in LES.
