Horrible hotel do not waste your time or money there.

Had a great time at a birthday party there, during covid 19 must go again.

Great location in bklyn and great price.

It was cute enough, but, so loud and the one item we ordered from the restaurant lounge came cold and incorrect. Expensive parking, decently accessible area. Won’t be staying there again due to the extremely noisy environment.

I've stayed at The Tillary a couple of times in 2019 and I am quite happy there. The location isn't easily walkable compared to other hotels, but it's got a great taxi/car stop. It's a little bit of a hike from the subway too. The hotel is really clean, and the coffee shop in the lobby serves great coffee and has good pastries, along with other offerings most coffee shops don't have. There's no room service but they're happy to deliver the food to your room if it's not too busy. If it's too busy they'll call you to grab your food from the front desk. There's a bar on 2 which has a cute garden with plenty of room for a few dozen people. There's also a tranquil balcony area on a high floor (5 or 6, I can't remember). I had a great room the first time — it was a King room on the 6th floor. There was plenty of room for two to sleep (but not much room for two to sit) and the bathroom only had a walk-in shower. One still strange thing — it seemed as if the bathroom mirror should open into the bedroom, but it doesn't. Also — noise carries from the bathroom to bedroom — keep that in mind if booking and sharing with someone you don't know too well. It had a small window that overlooked the garden bar on the 2nd floor — which means it had some noise during peak bar hours. Otherwise, even though I was by the elevator, I wasn't bothered by much noise.

Beautiful property, excellent service, reasonably priced, great location.

The Tillary Hotel is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was a disaster from start to finish.

From the minute you enter the amazingly decorated lobby you're in love! The staff treated me like royalty. They thought of everything. And just wait until you see the room… your mouth will drop. Beautiful. And the bedding was like sleeping on a cloud. Can't wait to return.

Enjoyed my stay at the Tillary this weekend. Staff was great, my room was nice, clean, modern. King bed, big screen TV, seating, Keurig, and refrigerator. Modern bathroom with no tub, shower only. Patio and residence outside my window so I heard music, traffic, I heard New York, which I loved. Only complaint, hallway was a little funky, but I think this hotel welcomes pets. My room was great. Will stay here again.

Absolutely incredible experience with this hotel, if I could give them more stars I would. My boyfriend mentioned it was our anniversary and they went above and beyond our expectations. We received a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room, a room upgrade, 2 free drink vouchers for their hotel bar, and a gift bag of snacks! Everyone in the hotel was super nice as well. I would highly recommend staying here if you're in Brooklyn, definitely returning soon!

This was the worst stay. This trip was for my wife's 30th birthday. Friday night, the fire alarm went off multiple times between 10:30 pm and 12:00 am, we had nonfunctional AC making our room 80 degrees which made us unable to sleep comfortably and we kept waking up soaking wet in sweat. Saturday we had to call multiple times before someone came to look at the AC. Saturday night the fire alarm goes off multiple times but this time it is between the hours of 3 am and 5 am. The AC still did not work properly and it was 78 degrees throughout the night which again, made us unable to sleep. All the hotel did was say "I'm sorry and I hope you come back. " Oh, they did send 2 glasses of ginger ale to our room when we were gone as a "sorry. " They also said they "scolded" the people smoking in their room all weekend causing fire alarms to go off; well apparently not enough the 1st night because they did it again the 2nd night multiple times. So again, this was the worst stay we have ever had. This was supposed to be a nice birthday weekend for my wife and we both couldn't wait to get home. (P. S. The showers in the bathroom are tiny and the glass wall is so small that water goes everywhere)

A good hotel overall. A good location for my needs, with very clean rooms and nice amenities. My biggest complaints are the rectangular toilets and the lack of a shower door. Otherwise, it's a nice place to stay.

I still was and am amazed by the interior design. The place is clean and well maintained thanks to the housekeeping department. By the looks of it, I think they have to build a hotel because their service is a 4 star for me. Front desks staffs are very professional on handling guests and their needs. The food in the menu is superb and I really love how they serve it, a lot of compassion in the air I can sense it. Overall its excellent and I will recommend my friends to visit this place.

This place was amazing. Staff was friendly. Open balcony on the 6th floor was so nice. There's residential parking close by so I was lucky. Shower had awesome pressure. Everything was clean. Can't ask for better in NYC.

Stayed for 3 nights. For a Pretty affordable deal over the weekend. The staff is forthcoming and kind. The hotel itself is also very nice. When the bar is open they have a really nice outdoor seating area. Overall the hotel has a nice lobby to chill and work.

Tried to take payment twice which has left me overdrawn I call them and they don’t have a clue about it or what they are saying! Not helpful atall! Said they would call back but have not.

Great stay, hotel staff service was exceptional. Fast and very responsive. Loved the rooftop areas and beer garden. Short Citi bike ride to DUMBO, 10/15 min walk to subway. Room needed more lighting, was darker than desired at night. Bathroom was awesome.

Room design and hotel style is modern. The furnishings are also very modern, love the sink design. It's a little minimalist, but everything is clean. The shower design is what dropped this review 1 star. The shower has only one pane of glass, so when you're using it, water gets all over the bathroom floor and there's no drain. The floor pools with water and when you go to use the toilet or sink later, your feet get wet with old shower water.

A poor experience from start to finish. We booked this hotel for a one night stay on a Thursday evening. As we arrived in or rooms (on the same floor), I opened the door to a strong smell of cannabis and smoke. It appeared it was coming in from a vent, which likely connected all of the rooms. My colleague was just three doors down and had the same smell. I cranked down the temp in hopes that the AC may push out the odor but was unsuccessful. The room was basic; good enough for a nights' sleep but hardly accommodating. The fridge was turned off, with the provided food and drinks warm. I had no hand towels or wash clothes in my room. At checkout I made mention of the issue to the front desk and was given a fairly lax response; "we'll call up and see what's going on. " I realize not much could be done at that time for me, but it didn't feel super thoughtful. I asked for the receipt to be emailed to me and never received it. 5 days later I called for a receipt and they notified me that they didn't have my email address. Lots of issues here. Super disappointing because I love the aesthetic and location. Wouldn't come back, even as they are walking distance from my agency's office.

Nice clean accommodations. I like the modern decor. Reception staff was pleasant and helpful. The bar was a joke. She told me she didn’t have the ingredients to make a Long Island iced tea then I asked for A margarita and she said she couldn’t make that either. I asked what she could make and she said she couldn’t make any mixed drinks. When I asked for something else she said she could do any simple mixed drinks but not cocktails. I just wanted a whiskey sour but apparently she could not make that either so I just asked for some whiskey and fresh lemons and sugar and made it myself. As a bartender I know that this isn’t very hard to do. Everything else about my stay was very pleasant. I would stay here again.

It is a very nice place and especially spacious.

Lovely stay for one night. Cheap prices and lovely staff. Had a chilled dj set in the lobby which gave the hotel and nice vibe.

I really enjoyed this place. We stayed for our wedding anniversary this past June and it was awesome. At first they messed up our reservation and put us in double twin bed. Which was not going to work considering my husband is 6’7 350lbs. So they upgraded us to the one bedroom suite. And it was awesome! Love this hotel!

Very convenient location. Rooms smell weird!?

Honestly not a bad hotel at all, even though we only stayed for 1 night! The only downside we experienced is that since our room was facing the street, it made the quality of sleep a bit challenging because of outside traffic noise (ie. Trucks, aggressive driving). Other than that, the staff never bothered us, neither did other guests surprisingly, considering we came pretty close to the weekend, and although the bathroom situation (wall dividing the bathroom to the room) seemed a bit of an odd thing in terms of construction placement, the room seemed very chic and we enjoyed our stay to say the least despite a lot of people stating that the walls seemed paper thin.

Overall, I've had a good experience here. My room is a weird shape and only has a tiny window, but it's still a nice room and is larger than many I've had in New York. I especially like the 'master switch' that lets you turn all the lights off at once.

Hotel is decent enough for the price. Not the best location but the REAL problem is the customer service or lack thereof — front desk and reservation agents are just rude and BADLY trained. Someone needs to tell them that they're working in the HOSPITALITY business. Horrible.

Great hotel for weekend getaway. Clean quiet and the staff was extremely pleasant and willing to please. Has a great rooftop Terrance which we utilized several times.

After checking in, my girlfriend heard that her father had suddenly passed away. While I was in a meeting, she had an emotional breakdown and was asked to leave the hotel. After I returned — having not heard the very sad situation — I was told that we would be refunded within a couple days as she'd been in the room for less than an hour. We checked in at 9:56am; the room was free and clean by 11am. After three weeks, they rejected the refund without any logical explanation. In so many words, they've essentially profited from a guest's suffering. Beyond unethical, this is just sad. Though hotels obviously have their policies, good management knows when to interpret same with something called COMPASSION. I wholeheartedly recommend travelers stay elsewhere. The way we were treated made the property seem far more like a prison, then the mod business hotel they market the "Dazzler" to be.

Huge California king sized bed that allowed me to sleep through the night on. I'd go back just for the bed. And the shower apothecary products were a nice touch. They were family sizes so it had to be mounted to the wall. The only issue was the shower design. Where there was no door for the back part of the shower. So the floor always got wet. But the view of downtown Brooklyn was amazing!

Very clean and very friendly staff. Bar had limited drinks. Room service was quick and the cafe was pricey but really good for a quick breakfast. Location is great for walking around DUMBO and to the Brooklyn Bridge. It was also easy to find for our uber drivers. The price wasn't bad for the comfort and location.

Brilliant hotel ran by brilliant staff! Fantastic decor, amenities and location — it is incredibly easy to get around New York when the Dazzler is your base. The rooms are perfectly sized with all the relevant fittings/appliances you need (including a smart TV! ). We loved our stay and would happily return again!

It's a decent hotel, I would definitely stay here again. It seems to be recently remodeled and they tried their best but it just seems like they cut some corners — thinks like the light switches and shower faucet we're just hard to figure out — and I'm a mechanical engineer… Also, their parking system stinks — they had to move have a dozen cars to get to mine in the morning and the attendant was rude.

The hotel is right next to the Manhattan Bridge and really convenient for exploring downtown Brooklyn and Manhattan. The jay Street Station is 10mins walk. The rooms and cozy. The hotel staff was really nice, sending over deliveries, extending check out time etc. Minibar stocked with drinks and a nice cafe in the lobby. Really convenient and affordable.

Very nice, clean and cozy rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I once lost track of time and checked out 2 hours late, they were friendly enough to not charge me an extra day. Last time they stored my luggage while I was having lunch before heading out to the airport. I Highly recommend this place.

Located in a good area full of places to eat. As soon as you walk in to the large and well designed lobby you are greeted with a fresh smell that encompasses the entire floor. The place is kept clean for the most part although there were a couple areas that could have used a quick clean up.

Booked a room at Dazzler through a third party site and it was a breeze. They mentioned everything upfront, including the $75 hold they put on your card for the mini bar. The rooms were very clean. The sheets were comfy. Loved the shower supplies they provided. The location was amazing. The staff was helpful easy check in and out. They even let me store my bike there overnight. Nothing bad to say about them. My experience at Dazzler was awesome. I would totally recommend it to anyone.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Not bad numbers. Would have been hard 5 if it wasn't for breakfast, the $15 voucher in the café was too small.

We had a nice stay here for the most part. I don't understand the name and branding but whatever. The lobby is modern and nice and location is convenient. The street noise is a bit much, especially the semi noise through the thin walls. Sometimes it would rattle the room. Im from NY so this rocks me right to sleep but I can see it being an issue for some. My only gripe would be the coffee situation. There is a machine in the room but no pods to make your own. When we asked if we could get some at the lobby breakfast we were told we needed a voucher. When we asked to buy a breakfast voucher we were told it was not included with our room. So I wound up spending an extra $10 a day from the cafe (in the lobby fyi) to get coffee. If you can't order enough pods for guests you should supply them coffee in the lobby free of charge and not be so weird/snotty about it when asked. I would probably stay here again but just BYOC.

Great position and nice hotel. A bit disapponted because we booked a room breakfast included in the fee, but they refused to give us the breakfast.

Modern chic hotel. Great for my weekend stay. Plus I'd rather stay in Brooklyn than the city anyway. Awesome employees! Just overall a great place with great value!

Very nice hotel. The room was clean and the front desk was helpful. The soap, shampoo, conditioner bottles in the shower were all empty and I couldn't find any ice or vending machines. It was also strange that the room didn't have any pamphlets to inform you of any hotel amenities. Overall, notmy best hotel experience but I got a decent travelocity deal and its close to me office. So I'd probably stay again.

I stayed for one night, in a single bed room, the room was clean bed was very comfortable and cozy, the room size was perfect and the fact that it's right by the Manhattan bridge gave me quick access to lower Manhattan with plenty of taxi traffic passing by. Breakfast was fresh and I loved the coffee very smooth flavor.

Our stay in this hotel was excellent. The reservation desk checked us in promptly. We were informed every morning that they provide free breakfast from 7am-10am. They provide bread, hard boiled eggs, OJ, coffee, tea, cereal, items to make your own sandwiches. Nothing fancy but it got us through lunch time. The room was clean and modern. The beds were very comfortable. We got a room facing Flatbush street which is where all the traffic is. We personally didn't have a problem with the noise because we felt like the windows were sound proof of course if you open the window then you can hear all the traffic very loud especially all the New Yorkers honking. Get use to that. The elevators were quick and always available, our room was cleaned everyday while we were out. It felt nice to come to a clean room after a long day. The hotel walking distance to the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge and the subway station. PS — If you need a wine open call the front desk they have one or at least they informed us they did. (We ended up getting a 6 pack of beer instead of wine)

I don't quite know where to start with this review, but I will start with the positive. The staff at the hotel are great, very helpful and did their best to make us welcome. The rooms are also very nice and clean, particularly the bathroom but the person who designed the lighting might want to take another look because if you were hoping to read a book before going to bed, its not going to happen, unless you can read in the dark. Also there is a kettle and mugs but no coffee or tea to use, you need to buy that locally and if you want to open a bottle of wine or beer, bring your own opener. The worst problems were with the insane noise from Flatbush avenue. I have never ever heard so much traffic in my life and it seems as if the window is open, its that load. It was impossible to sleep. Also having the room cleaned at 7pm when you are just getting back from a long day in the city is not a great move. Its just a bit amateurish at time, one bathrobe for 3 people in the room and the first room we were given had 2 small queens, no chance of the 3 of us being able to use these beds, so why, when you know we are three give us this type of room!

Not sure if this place's problems are teething troubles or more endemic. When I checked in the clerk cockily said "let's see if we've lost your reservation" and then had to backtrack when it turned out they'd lost my reservation. Of course they found me a room, but then over the next day 4 calls (including a midnight one that woke me up) that started off apologising but ended up telling me I had to change rooms or pay the difference on the room they'd given me (but that someone else now needed). I was out of the hotel from 6am-midnight so was in no position to move and told them that it really was was their problem and that, if anything, I should be getting a discount for the inconvenience… it didn't ever seem to register that this really was a problem of their own making. You get what you pay for I guess. Pleasant enough, if your expectations are low enough, but the lack of understanding of customer service… especially in NYC… is a big red flag.

Great Staff Brautifull Room close to train, night life, shopping, food and right beside both the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridge! Supper easy to get a taxie I literally never had to wait for a taxi or the elevator (seriously the elevator was always there and open when I walked in)

I spent the night out at the Dazzler, it's beautifully Built, with the most up to date modern design. Very nice, and clean rooms. And the service was spectacular, and very helpful. Would definitely be my hotel choice next time time I'm in Brooklyn.

The room and lobby are very nice but the hotel is not finished construction and neither is their staff's training. A desk clerk promising to give us dinner recommendations and then was no where to be found when called hours later. The hotel bar is non existent and when a different clerk suggested a convenience store a block over, we wasted a hike in the dark because it didn't sell alcohol. Then when we got back to the hotel, the elevator malfunctioned and stranded us in a locked room on the first floor. We ended up having to hike up 6 floors because none of the elevator doors would open. A really disappointing experience to say the least.
