Friendly Professional Hotel Staff! From the Front Desk to the bar to the Housekeeping Staff and Waitstaff and Everyone in between I would make Hilton Brooklyn my only hotel to stay at in Brooklyn NY.
Centrally located to restaurants and bars and shops all within walking distance.

I booked a room on the executive floor and was given a deluxe king room (not an executive room, not on executive floor). Once I realized their mistake, they told me that I had booked a regular king and they did me a favor by upgrading me to a deluxe king room. Yes, they straight up lied to my face. Once I showed them my receipt, the story changed. I was then told that they had overbooked the executive floor, so had to put me in a different room, but the one I had is bigger and better. It may have been bigger, I don't know, but it was certainly missing many of the key features that I paid for by booking an executive room. I was told nothing could be done and no refund for the difference between the two rooms could be made because I prepaid for the room, which makes NO sense whatsoever because I booked directly through Hilton. I had to call Hilton corporate and file a complaint. After hotel management told corporate that the room I had received was more expensive, I decided I needed to call and talk to this manager myself. He admitted to me that they messed it up and were in the wrong, but still would not refund the difference of the two rooms. Instead, he said he would give me some Hilton Honors points (yippee? ). Customer service here was absolutely atrocious and corporate would not help whatsoever. I've been a loyal Hilton Honors member for many years, but now I'm making the switch to Marriott. This was not about the money, it was about the principle of the matter.

Great location and better than expected. Glad we chose to spend some time in Brooklyn and use it as a base… still so close to Manhattan too.

Staff was above and beyond as far as being helpful and accommodating goes. Made our stay a breeze. 10/10 would recommend.

They don’t clean your room. They short u on food — lobster mac has no lobster… great location, great staff, shit services — dirty rooms — not enough house keeping staff… will add this review to trip advisor — if u care for a clean room with fresh towels & toilet paper… this is not the place for u.

The bed was so comfortable and nice bathroom. It was very quiet except one night 'someone' left the radio on full blast all night. The bar is pleasant and friendly. There was a heat wave outside, but I could only get 1 free bottle of water fore the whole week. I asked for an upgrade as we are Hilton honors members and this is our 4 th visit but we were denied. Still no golf channel on tv.

Really lovely modern, classy design. Very comfortable, and a super helpful staff made it either the enjoyable time. Lack of their own parking was a bit difficult, but hey, it's Brooklyn!

Pleasant new hotel close to Brooklyn's downtown. Your basic Hilton rooms, but spacious by NYC standards. Clean. Pleasant staff. I would stay there again.

Attended a brunch/seminar here and although I didn't get a chance to snap pics of the food, it was great. Typical hotel breakfast but good nonetheless and lots of options. Station for the unlimited mimosas/bellinis/water/apple juice was cool. Loved the whole Brooklyn decor in such a cute and intimate space. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Might try to return and stay at the hotel one day and review the rooms as a guest.

Hilton Staff very friendly and knowledgable. Beds were comfortable and rooms clean at check in. With in walking distance of many restaurants and shops. The restaurant attached is pricey but food was very good. Highly recommend you try the local popsicle's they sell in the small store. Overall great stay.

Friendly staff, affordable rates and great room, food and drink. Easily accessible via train or bus and only a quick trip over the bridge to Manhattan. Would recommend.

The hotel was very clean and quiet. The roomnwasbspaciois and well appointed. No mouthwash but I'll live Central location, easy in and out. Highly recommend this Hilton location to anyone!

Was visiting people staying here. The lobby and rooms are nicely furnished. The guests seem to have a good stay and it was their second time there. Very convenient location to anyone visiting us! And close to a lot of restaurants!

The Hilton in Brooklyn is a convenient hotel for business. Stayed there for 1 night and would not hesitate to stay again. Great front desk friendly service, as well as service at the bar. My room was nice as it had 2 queen size beds. The location of the hotel was convienient to the public transportation to Manhattan.

DO NOT go to this Hilton. I went there 6/18/2018 and found a BED BUG in my bed. I reported it and it took 2 phone calls and 30 minutes for them to come to my room, and when I checked out the front desk didn’t even apologize for what I went thru. I literally kept the bug to show them and everything. New York can have a reputation for bed bugs, but based on my experience, go to Marriott without a doubt. At least their customer service will rectify the situation, seeing as I’m now going home and worried about an infestation.

We checked in for a wedding in the area. Didn't have time to inspect the room or the valet parking policy. The toilet was dirty, it had apparently been used before we checked in, there was a pee stain on the toilet seat. We checked out the next morning, it cost us $110 to park our car. I am a Hilton Honors customer, but now will cancel my card and never use Hilton again. I was not impressed at all with this hotel, or the staff, for the amount money they charged.

I can honestly say I loved my stay here. The service was amazing. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet on the executive level. Room service is outstanding and so is the complimentary breakfast. The waitstaff is awesome. I even came back hours later to tip him. :) The executive lounge/bar is very nice and the food is very decent. My only complaint was the server in the executive lounge (AZ), he did not provide good customer service at all. It was somewhat busy but he was only friendly towards some customers not all and gave exceptional service to some while others had to wait on his slow service. In addition, he caught an attitude with me when I asked for next day voucher back. Nevertheless, I would come again. Hopefully I won't have to deal with AZ.

I had a wonderful stay. I love the Hilton chain. The room was exceptional and the service was great. The lobby had a great bar and the bar was very lively.

This is my go to hotel anytime I'm in NYC. I have stayed here 3 times in the last few months and every stay has been perfect. The lobby has a great layout with a great bar and a restaurant in the back. The rooms are very well maintained and large by NYC standards. The location cannot be beat — located in a great Brooklyn neighborhood with an easy commute to midtown.

The location is convenient for travel. Ithe regular room was smallish but very clean and comfortable. The Suites are much nicer with a separate bedroom and living room but if you're going for a short stay the standard room is more than enough, if it's more than a week or you just want to be able to invite a few people over for drinks and want some extra space… get the suite. Bathroom are nice and clean the 24h hotel market downstairs is a bit expensive considering you are walking distance to several drug stores. Beds and sheets are comfortable and AC/Heating worked perfectly. Staff was friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Stayed here with several members of my family. The place is very modern, rooms are great, staff are friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommend this place.

Made my reservation over the phone through the 800 reservation number. They were really helpful. I paid for the bed and breakfast. Check in was really easy. It was fast too fast. I had to remind The check in agent that I paid for bed and breakfast package so I needed the voucher for the next morning. I never double checked the ticket. She recited the times and I was on my way. The room was smaller than what I expected but then I was reminded that was to be expected because of the location. Otherwise room was clean and nice. When the morning comes and I go down for breakfast at 10am, they tell me that the buffet ended at 9:30 but there was continental breakfast until 11. I was puzzled. I didn't pay extra to have cold cereal and tea. I was under the impression that I paid for hot buffet. I was accomdated but still wasn't happy. I felt like I was giving heated up food. I looked at the menu noticed the prices the continental was cheaper than what I paid when I booked so how was Hilton expecting me to pay for something where the value was off?

The staff was nice the food excellent my room was a decent size. My only issue with this place is there is bad cellphone service! I even had to move to another room in hopes of better cell service but it was the same thing. They charge alot they need better service.

Great location and within walking distance to the subway for easy access to all the sites in NYC. Brooklyn bridge is within walking distance. Explore Brooklyn while still having easy access to NYC. Breakfast wasn't that good, but 24 hour access to executive lounge for sodas or coffee was great.

Nice and recently renovated. Still a bit of an older structure so the walls are a little on the thin side. Great staff, excellent lounge and amenities. Good workout room. Convenient location.

Very clean hotel. Great people at the front counter. They provided a cold bottle of water at the front counter after hearing about our long flight. We will definitely stay there in the future!

This review is regarding the poor service of management, not the actual hotel room. I am a very loyal Hilton customer. I booked a weekend stay at the Brooklyn Hilton several weeks ago. A day and a half before our visit, my wife came down very sick. We contacted the hotel to cancel our reservation. The hotel has a 48 hour cancellation policy. We were outside of the cancellation window. We called the hotel and begged them to allow us to cancel. They refused, they said sickness was not a good enough reason to cancel our room. The manager we spoke with on the telephone was rude. The manager kept us hold for 15 minute increments. My instinct is that the manager was doing so, in hopes we would hang up. In the end, we were NOT refunded. We were charged the full amount as a cancellation penalty. Hilton Corporate was helpful, and tried to get us a refund, but the local branch would not respond to corporate's requests. Hilton is not going to lose our business; however, I would HIGHLY recommend that you think carefully before staying at this particular Hilton location, if you have any issues during your stay, I do not think management will be considerate or helpful, their only concern is taking money from your wallet and putting it into their wallet.

A very nice looking hotel with friendly employees. Located on a quiet street with not as much traffic. Also very close to multiple restaurants in the area.

Great location! There was a slight issue with our tub not draining when we first arrived. Friendly and attentive staff had it resolved less than an hour later. They also have a convenient fitness center. FYI, if you are a light sleeper, be aware you are near the criminal court. There will be occasional police car type noise nearby.

Pool/ jacuzzi is awesome. Location good. Towels had holes. Room just ok. For the price I won't be staying again. Isn't worth more than $150 a night IMHO.

Front desk staff seemed a bit annoyed (possibly from previous guests and or situation), wasn't efficient in accommodating our reasonable needs as Hilton Honors members! We reserved a room and encouraged friends from out of town to book a room as well and we're poorly greeted and informed about our room situation this past Sunday night at the Hilton located in downtown Brooklyn. Front desk female host seemed impartial and also had a slight attitude. We will not be going back to that location and will stick to our normal Grand Central location in midtown Manhattan.

Most accommodating & hospitable crew working here to really take care of the guests! Hilton Honors Gold got us upgraded rooms and all the perks. Great rooms with super nice bathroom. Receptionists and the Host at the Restaurant were quite friendly. A convenient location near all the bridges to Manhattan. A great NYC experience with A+ comfort!

Nice and clean. Great staff. No parking, and the one next door or really expensive, but I guess that is normal in NY. Free snacks for diamond members.

Great hotel in general. Upon checking my receipt after check out I noticed they over charged me. Upon calling up to have it adjusted they were unable to make the adjustment without me providing "proof" of the lower rate. Terrible customer service! After making several calls I was able to obtain the Hilton confirmation email, which by the way the hotel in Brooklyn should have access to. However they made it my problem and I had to spend over an hour of my time calling them and the folks that booked the hotel for me to find the "proof" they required. This ruined my otherwise great stay. If they would have simply taken the time to go into their reservation system, found the confirmation with the correct rate and made the adjustments themselves rather than making it my problem everything would have been a 5.

I have stayed here many times. Its a wonderful hotel with a phenomenal service staff. I especially want to give a wonderful review of the front desk staff. Betsy, Veronica, Sasha, Suzanna. Truly the best! They go above and beyond to make the experience and stay as warm, welcoming, and accommodating as possible. I spend a great deal of time traveling for work and staying in hotels, so having a great staff like them making the stay better means a lot. Thank you!

Surprisingly chic hotel in Brooklyn. While the rooms aren't huge, the finishings are brand new. The staff is extremely friendly.

The staff here are all very nice and attentive, the dining room serves phenomenal food and drinks (my compliments to the chef), and the room itself is large, well stocked, and up to date with all modern amenities. There is free Wi-Fi available for any entertainment needs, and there is even a secured ethernet wallport to accommodate for business without having to find a special business room as with many other hotels (of which I took full advantage for work). Best of all, the price is very fair and much less than I would expect to pay for all of the above amenities in the center of a very busy area of downtown Brooklyn. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to friends and family if they find themselves in Brooklyn for an overnight stay.

The experience with this Hilton is one of the worst I came across. These guys charged for me someone else's reservation and I got charged around 470$ extra on my card. Tried contacting them so many times but they just keep me passing back and forth here and there. I am currently in San Francisco and feeling completely helpless getting refund back. If everything goes fine with the billing this is okay place to stay, but if something goes wrong dont expect you will get your money back.

Absolutely loved it. Though only one night the staff was by far the most friendly and accommodating. From the evening staff to the bartender to the housekeeping staff in the morning. Please keep up the amazing work and I also love the location not far from food, drug store or subway.

The Hilton Brooklyn is a great brand new property very centrally located to MetroTech. It is a small property compared to the nearby Marriott for a more intimate full service hotel experience.

Checked in today. I am now in my third room being moved to my fourth room. The first room the heat did not work, the second room had a rat in it. Now I am in the third room the heat is on high. Thermostat set at 80 degrees and is blowing cold air. I called to the front desk in tears because at this point I am tired and frustrated it's almost midnight. I ask for the hotel manager's name. I was given Carlos as the manager. I tell Jason Rodriguez that this is the third room I've been in and the heat isn't getting warm. He sarcastically says to me that I could have the air on instead of heat. I told him I'm old enough to work a thermostat. He basically tells me he just got to work and he doesn't know what is going on. While telling him the issues I have had he starts laughing. When I say to him I'm glad he thinks this is funny. He states his managers name, tells me there is nothing he can do and hung up the phone. At this point I am livid. I calmed down called back and asked Jason if he was going to send someone to my room. He said that I did not tell him I wanted someone to come to my room to fix the heat. Also Jason basically called me a liar. Staying that he can't believe I've had issues with 3 different rooms. It is 1 am in the morning I am sitting in my room with all the lights on. I am too livid and scared (of the rat) to even go to bed or turn the lights off.

Excellent Stay. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was beautiful. Very clean from the rooms, to the lobby and everything in between. There was an awesome bar right around the corner that was suggested by the hotel clerk and it did not disappoint. Walking distance from the Barclay's Center which is the reason we stayed. Would definitely stay again.

Just opened 7 weeks ago and is nice, but has some bugs to work out. 3 different rooms in one night. First someone started smoking and it came into our room through the vents. Second room the heater wouldn't blow hot air. Third was mostly good except that heater ran really hot. Noticed other small things like the toilet handle about falling out because whoever installed it forgot to put the retaining nut on the back side. So a lot of little things that need to be sorted out. Many good things though. Place was clean and new. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially with the issues above. Had breakfast in the executive lounge and it was good.
