What a wonderful experience. The staff were so great and helpful, couldn't ask for better. Room was extremely comfortable and cozy. If ever we come back to NYC we are staying at the Hotel Indigo, Brooklyn baby…

Awesome rooms more of a European touch my wife and I loved it.

Where shall I begin. We arrived at the hotel, check-in, and was assigned a room. When I got to our room I turned on the shower, because I wanted to wash up after traveling. The shower started to clog and then the room began to flood from the water coming from the walls. I would post the pictures and videos if that was an option. But wait, I am not done. When I checked in I used one card for the room charge and another for the incidental hold. For some reason the hotel charged me on both cards and had funds holding on both of my cards. The final charge for the stay ended up finalizing on the card I specifically asked them NOT to. I called and spoke with the manager at the location. Ms. Davenport promised me that she would call me back on 09/07/2018 after she spoke with someone and still haven't received a phone call. I only gave it two stars because the rooms and staff werew welcoming. Both rooms did not come with mini refrigerators like the website States. Unfortunately, I will not be back!

I strongly recommend you don't stay here. Between an elevator that doesn't work, no in room dinning service and extremely tiny rooms. They don't even have an ice machine for guests on each floor. Thank goodness Brooklyn has more hotel options to choose from. After my stay there over Labor Day Weekend in 2018, I'd never book a room here again.

Great hotel in a great area of Brooklyn. The best part about this hotel is the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful and nice. Will definitely stay here again.

Did not get the room I reserved. But it was very clean and nice. Room is pretty. Parking expensive but gentlemen very nice about and helpful. View from window not to die for from the 9th floor. Facing wrong direction so could not see Manhattan skyline.

Location is good. Close to shops, and subway station. Parking is tough or forget it. Although there is a construction site next to the hotel which is very noisy in the morning. The air condition is good. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel is fully renovated. The room is VERY small but it's doable. The bathroom is very clean and the shower was AMAZING. I will come back again.

Based on the payment, the room was small but cozy and comfortable. The staffs were friendly and the room was neat and clean. I would recommend this place for stays. If you are visiting the area with family, you might have to consider an upgrade from queen bed to a double room.

Great location and service. Unfortunately there was a remodeling the building next door and noise at 7am was kinda a minus for me. Pictures on website don't really match rooms, but it was a good experience due to amazing crew.

The room had everything we could possibly need and it was surprisingly large for a Brooklyn hotel. I highly recommend this place. The wall paper chandelier on the ceiling was very cool indeed. The Brooklyn Brewhouse is right downstairs and the food was quite good and they are open late if you have the munchies. There is valet parking available for $39.95 per day.

Front desk staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice, but small (as is expected in any downtown hotel). It's located on a side street, so the road noise isn't bad. There are lots of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.

The hotel in itself was fine, but the staff weren't the most professional I've seen… The beds were comfortable and big. The neighborhood is not the most interesting, lots of stuff is under construction right now. Some of the reception staff seemed to be sleepwalking. Our room wasn't ready on time. Fortunately we were eventually given a discount for waiting and being told over and over again "ten more minutes… " We had a reservation for four people but had three sets of towels and only one set of toiletries.

Room was very small. Only fit one bed and almost no space to put your things. No fridge in room either. But the room and overall hotel was clean. Staff was nice. Not too expensive and was in a good location.

I like that the hotel has hardwood floors throughout. The staff was very friendly and gave us a fantastic suggestion for restaurants close by. We did have an issue with the shower and someone came up to fix it within 5 minutes of calling. The room was large and quiet. We'll definitely be staying here again!

Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. This will be my NY hotel. Amazing Staff, Great View, Amazing location, can't loose.

Rooms are extremely small. Hard to move around with any type of luggage. The rooms were decorated nicely and updated. My husband got stuck on the elevator that they were servicing upon arrival. They did not close and recheck the elevator even after this incident. We had to use the stairs and we were on the 15th floor. They did not seem concerned. We checked into another hotel.

My experience at the Hotel Indigo Brooklyn was very nice. The rooms are on the smaller size, but that's not a big deal. My only real complaint is the shower. Good pressure and heat, but it is impossible not to soak the whole floor.

Great Location, quiet area and well served by more metro lines. Clean and comfortable.

This hotel was clean and very nice. The rooms are small but our little family of four fit just fine. It's close to the subway and shopping. There's a Starbucks across the street and the restaurant next door is pretty good. We would stay here again.

When I made my reservation they said there was free hotel parking, when I arrived, rather than free parking, there was a valet attached to the hotel that charged $45 per 24 hours. I stayed two nights, so that's $90 I wasn't planning to spend. There were no towels in the room when we checked in, so as we headed out for dinner we let the front desk know and I clearly heard them tell the attendant "bring up two towels SETS". When we got back there were two towels, but no wash clothes and no face towels, definitely not a set. On the way checking out, the valet was extremely late bringing the car back and the valet garage that partnered with this hotel was rude on the phone. Nice hotel room, clean and modern, but too many service hitches. Won't be coming back.

Overall, would not recommend. Rooms are small (barely fits the beds it has in it), front door doesn’t work, it’s cramped. The entire hotel footprint is smaller then another hotels ROOM’S foot print. Person at the main desk was very nice, however not very helpful. I had a family emergency and could not make the stay and they would not refund me my money. He told me to contact the manager in the morning, but the manager never returned my countless calls and emails. Overall, poorest service I have received at a hotel. Keep in mind this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel.

I've stayed at other hotel Indigos before and they have always been great. I can't say the same about this location though. I had booked a king room originally but when I got to the hotel they told me that there were none left. The room I eventually got was the size of a shoebox. The toilet was plugged when I went to use the bathroom. Phoned the front desk and they told me that someone would be up shortly. 30 minutes later and no one came. I eventually asked to switch rooms which they were happy to do. The staff were friendly and helpful but this property is a 2.5 star at best. Go stay at their lower East side location, it's 100× better.

Staff were extremly rude and inconsiderate. I arrived at 1am and was told that I couldn"t be checked in because my card did not have a chip. Even with showing my ID and card, I paid for in advance for my room and refused to give me a refund and called the police to have me removed, which they did not. Police even asked if I could stay for the night do to the time and being pregnant and yet they refused. Police advised that I take them to court and apologized for the way, I was treated. Just an horrible experience and it took numerous calls to speak with a manager and to get my refund. I honestly believe do to my race, I was treated so poorly. I hope no one ever experience what I had to endure. Other guest in passing were confused and disgusted of how I was treated. "No stars" given. Poor customer service!

Stayed one night at their standard king size room. I understand having a small room in Manhattan but in Brooklyn!?! Not acceptable for a brand like Indigo. Even my prior night at the Holiday Inn room in Manhattan was a bigger room than Indigo. Room looks a bit outdated. At least this hotel has great views and the bathroom was pretty nice but only has a walk in shower. Also, the check in process for the free night that my co worker had given me took almost 20 minutes. Won't be coming back to this independently owned property.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms can use some sprucing up. Also, the walls between room were not well insulated, could hear everything through the walls. Rooms were clean, well priced and great location, major train station is a short walk and can access trains throughout the metro area.

The hotel is in a great location, close to most train lines, and very clean. The rooms are small, but perfect for my needs. The staff are very courteous and helpful.

Rooms are petite but have most of the standard features. Room has a small open alcove for hanging clothes. The only other storage is the drawers in the bed base. Room seemed pretty clean. However, when I arrived the floor was dirty/dusty and wasn't cleaned until the second maid service. Some towels were stained. Bathroom has annoying taps where the cold tap turns on the "wrong" way. Beware the ice water in the foyer. My water had stuff floating in it. My stay was in June 2017 and the hotel is currently surrounded on three sides by four active building sites.

I had stayed here for 2 weeks after a house fire in my apartment. They got us a room very quickly and it was very nice. They accommodated us with our two cats as well. The staff always greeted us in the lobby and the housekeeping staff let us pick a time every day we wanted them to clean. The only thing they asked of us with our pets was to put them in their carriers while they cleaned. The restaurant that was affiliated with the hotel and the room service was also really good. Room service came very quickly and was very good especially for a restaurant primarily based around bar food. The lounge was very nice as well.

Came down from Philly on May 12th and stayed here with 3 of my girlfriends and we just loved the Indigo Hotel. I highly recommend it. Our room was very nice and clean the staff was friendly and offered car service if needed. The Indigo Hotel will be our choice of stay when ever we visit Brooklyn!

The hotel is modern and the location is great. The hotel is in walking distance of several restaurants, a pharmacy, several bus and metro stops, and many great sites. You can get to all parts of the city easily. The room is on the smaller side but it more than met my needs. The staff are friendly and helpful. This hotel has great value and is very affordable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Love the Indigo! It's the only place I will stay in NYC. The staff is exceptional in every way! After only a couple of visits the staff had all remembered my name and amenities I like and always leave them for me with a hand written note… they are so classy… love them… highly recommend!

The atmosphere is very modern and welcoming. But the rooms are absurdly tiny. This may just be normal for New York, but be aware that they are so tiny that the closet doors can't even open all the way!

The rooms were great but the service was lacking. We got a breakfast "voucher" but it seems like they make it exceptionally difficult to use. We paid extra for the breakfast and never got this voucher so when we went to get breakfast and waited for 20 Minutes to be served we had to try and figure out how the breakfast worked since it was a restaurant with priced items. We stayed for 2 nights and they said getting room serviced delivered would be faster. After no answered calls to room service we tried the front desk only to have them say the vouchers don't apply to room service. It was a difficult experience.

This place was exactly what I wanted it to be. Efficient, friendly desk staff at check-in. My room was perfect — clean, modern and roomy. The exercise facility was ample and in perfect order. I would happily stay here again.

Friendly staff and service with modern and well appointed rooms. Comfortable beds with rooms that had stylish decor. In hotel restaurant with good food and bar. Bar is a bit too loud at night, stayed on the 13th floor and could still hear the music blaring from past 2am. Parking situation is a disappointment. Only two garages nearby, one is nearly full and the other closes early and opens late and has terrible customer service (however this isn't the hotels fault. ) The garage closed at 9pm and wasn't able to get my car out. I was trapped in NYC without a hotel because we were unaware that they closed. Made the following night extremely stressful. None of the hotels in the area seemed aware of this either. Rooms were a bit small but at least they were comfortable. Location was decent, not too far from prospect Park or metro access.

This was an excellent hotel experience. First off, the staff awesome. Super helpful and friendly and accommodating. I had left my wallet at the front desk and they found it and put it aside for me. When we arrived, we had to head right out so the gave us our room key and brought our bags up for us. At night the overnight guy gave us great suggestions for late night eats (I wish I could remember thier names, as it truly was one of the best hotel service and experience I have ever had in NY) … room was small (as expected in NY) but really nice modern look and very comfy bed. And loads of cable channels. Nice location in Brooklyn as well for easy access to all we needed.

Very hip, minimalist hotel with tiny guest rooms. Friendly staff. Close to several subway stops and shopping.

It was a great place to stay for a weekend getaway. The front desk service was excellent! They were so helpful and kind! The room was clean and bright with a terrific view. Can't wait to go back!

Staff was friendly. Room way too overpriced for the size. I had to walk sideways between bed and window and bed and other wall. Ended up with bruise on my ankle from hitting the bed during night. Only 1 small desk chair in room which was not comfortable. Room was Queen but really not big enough for even queen bed. Also off main street so no cab access they will call private cab which charges more. Views awful were of construction on building across street.

The bed was super comfortable. On a super cold day, the super hot shower was much appreciated and welcomed. I also really enjoyed using all of the Aveda bath products. There was a brew house attached to the hotel was also really convenient and delicious.

Pros The rooms were set up well for its size. Very nice views of Brooklyn especially at night depending on the room that you are in. Room service offered and food is delicious Near multiple forms of transportation for easy access to and from Manhattan. Cons Very small showers in the standard rooms. Room service doesn't work as fast as they promise. Beds are very uncomfortable. Parking isn't very convenient if you are not from here. I knew the area so I was lucky to find cheaper parking.

Booked a room w balcony but door to my balcony was broken and hotel couldn't fix during stay. At 7 am a building-wide fire alarm went off and perpetuated intermittently for half an hour. Staff is nice but rooms are small. I prefer hotel aloft across the street.

A bunch of mixed communication. The desk clerk was rude and had a smart mouth her manager didn't seem to care about what was Going on.

Housekeeping staff does not change towels. They pretended to make my bed, but instead just threw a pile of sheets on the mattress and covered it with the comforter. There were other minor things. Overall, the poor housekeeping staff made my stay very uncomfortable.

Great little boutique, with an awesome restaurant that serves as room service. Parking is not the worst despite the downtown location. The rooms are nicely outfitted too. And the staff was very very nice. Central to transit and was quick into the city. Very glad we stayed here for our trip.

Clean and comfortable place to lay your head close to subways in DT brooklyn. Really can't beat the price in this area without substituting quality.

Excellent Alternative. Rooms very clean and trendy. Personnel is awesome, and you have several metro stations very close. We are coming back in our next trip. Talk about smart travelllng.

I got to check out the rooftop patio while staying at an adjacent hotel and it's worth it just to get that view. On a warm summer night, it was a great skyline view of Brooklyn and New York. Spending a couple hours hanging out here at the end of the night is a perfect way to end a stay at this hotel. A hidden gem in a busy hotel alley.
