Samantha at the desk was rude, took my information and then wouldn’t give me the room key or a refund. She stated I was in violation of the pet policy (I had 2 dogs) and gave me no other options and wouldn’t issue a refund. No manager on site either. Do not recommend pre payment to this hotel.

Never ever stay here. They are rude and do not care about anything. Not only did they double charge me they got mad at me when my kids found a crack pipe yes a crack pipe in the pull out sofa. If you are in to every floor smelling like every drug and swat there everyother night this is your place. The staff and management are the worst ever.

The most disgusting experience I've had. Ever. Anywhere. I have recordings of all I'm about to say. This place is NOT as advertised. Every inch of this place reeks of weed and cigarettes to the point where you get nauseous. Again I have recordings of the way the staff spoke with me. Lying, laughing at me and hung up on me. I literally slept in my car.

Due to COVID I can not travel to NY. I tried to cancel and get refunded for my reservation at Red Roof Inn. This has been such a horrible experience. So disappointed with the Red Roof Inn's customer service.

This place changed a lot every floor smells like people are smoking. Went from finding a crack pipe in my room to being charged over $3, 000 by accident and being told you will just have to wait for your bank to put it back. Has videos of swat there ever other night. Not a family hotel. But f you like weed smell party hotel and rude staff 100% this is for you.

Rooms are clean and smell good and the workers are nice the service is awesome.

The room was very clean and I felt welcomed. The best part of this was the receptionist her name is Sakshi she was great! From the second I booked my room to my check in and her great recommendations. She went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay and I did.

Very nice for the price. Room and bed very comfortable, better then my bed at home. They could do little things like provide shampoo or breakfast but not critical.

If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. When I first got there, I was very impressed with the location because it wasn't far from a really nice mall that was also very big. The mall had a lot of friendly people so I was really optimistic about my stay there. When I went back to the Hotel (we dropped our bags off then went to the mall), nobody had taken any of our things (coming to America style (the movie with Eddie Murphy) lol). That was also good. My dad then went to the front desk to confirm the reservation and get the key cards. This is when the trouble started. The lady at the desk was very rude. We were trying to see if we could get rooms next to each other and she proceeded to tell us that we can cancel the reservation if we wanted to. We should have. My dad was upset but we decided to brush it off because we weren't going to let her ruin our trip. We also discovered that there was no pool, no breakfast (or dinner) and we had to take our bags up to our rooms by ourselves. We have been to many hotels around the world and this is the first time we have experienced something like this. We decided to brush it off (again) and we went up to our rooms. The elevator was creepy and I was scared it was going to break down with us in it. We got to the rooms and they were really good rooms. The beds were soft but the room wasn't as clean as it was supposed to be.

This place is perhaps my favorite inn. Clean and with great staff, I love the interior modeling. I never have a problem when I stay here for business. They have Continental breakfast and there is not too much noise, the staff is quite accommodating and they even have luggage service. There's a deli that delivers inside the motel too in case your too tired to move from the comfortable bed.

I made a reservation 5 hours ago through a booking app for the coming weekend… I ended up needing to cancel one of my two reserved nights, not being the first time I’ve ever had to do this (at other locations). I have never had any previous issues cancelling a room and getting credit or even a partial refund from a hotel. I called the booking app, who then called the hotel in order to take care of my cancellation and refund. They were not able to cancel my reservation or give me back anything, when I paid $154 for the night I no longer can stay. I then took it into my own hands and called the hotel… the receptionist who answered quickly told me to call the app and wanted nothing to do with me. I assured him I already spoke to someone from customer service from this app, so he then asked me about the nights I was staying and what I needed to cancel, leading me to think he was trying to assist me in some way. After I explained I wanted to call him directly and that I only needed one night instead of the two, he then told me to “call them” and hung up. So now someone else is going to be paying probably the same amount I paid, and the hotel is getting paid double for that room because they will not refund my money. The room was booked for FIVE hours, and I didn’t wait until the night before to cancel, so the fact that this is an issue is disgusting. I want my money back, I basically spent this money for no reason. Thank you Red Roof. Really appreciate your hospitality.

The first room I checked into that night on the first floor smelled musty and smoky (maybe from the smokers sitting outside? ) They moved moved me to another room on the 5th floor after waiting in the lobby for 45 minutes. That room had a urine stained toilet. When I called I was told there was no housekeeping or maintenance staff to help. They graciously offered some disinfectant wipes. Yipee I get to clean my own toilet AND pay Redroof $160+. My shower the next morning started to fill the tub as the drain must have been partially clogged. When I complained at check out the next morning, the staff apologized and offered me a 15% coupon on my next stay. No thanks.

Night staff was very polite. I think I'm just use to more amenities.

Good overall hotel. Rooms are spacious, but a little stiff, but that's more a problem with red roof in general. Location is great with tons of shopping and restaurants nearby. Lots of people with pets and construction guys, so you'll see the occasional empty case of copes lite. But, if that and pets don't bother you, it's a reasonably priced hotel for the area that isn't bad.

Super comfy rooms with all aminities, Neaby from local malls and market places. Super friendly staff. They don’t have breakfast options but yeah 24x7 coffee is there, I love their vannila walnut coffee. Worth staying here.

Hotel staff enter and exit your room as they see fit! No privacy, do not disturb sign means nothing manager of hotel Brian Parker comes in out unannounced. I was told if you have nothing I hide you should not have an issue with us conducting “cleanings” Manager of this facility is BRIAN PARKER he runs the hotel; it is corporate owned and after speaking to corporate I was told red roofs policy states they can and will “inspect” your room as they see fit and the manager Brian Parker is well within his right. I ended up checking out and going to another hotel without refund, I would never stay at any red roof property ever again!

Not a bad place it is a Budget Motel for the area rumors clean people behind the front desk are real courteous and funny if you engage and joke with them, I was sad to see that there is no pool no gym and no breakfast they do have coffee station by the elevator overall the hotel is clean beds are comfortable I wouldn't have a problem going back here.

Made a reservation online went in only to be told oh let me see if I have any rooms! Seriously why let people book if no rooms are available! Way overpriced for a little bitty room no decent TV the halls smell like weed and cheap perfume I’m pretty sure illegal stuff goes on here just by the way some people were acting :/ For the price breakfast should be included I have paid less at holiday inn express and breakfast and high speed Wi-Fi is included. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone dont let the outside fool you it’s definitely a ripoff.

Beautiful venue for my Mobile Massage! I love venues that will impress my clients and this is a lovely hotel. The entire staff is really nice and everyone I spoke with was very helpful.

The price is great for the area. The room is set up like a budget motel. The room could have been cleaned better, specifically the bathroom. The room was adequate. The Wi-Fi was slow and froze frequently.

No breakfast. No room service. Free coffee though. Clean rooms. Quiet. A bit over-priced for nothing more than a room with basic cable if you don't want to pay for the on demand services. It would have been more worth it if they breakfast did breakfast.

Basic hotel. Mostly used by college students to get laid. Clean and affordable. Would recommend.

The red roof plus is awesome, I stayed in a handicap room, its quiet the staff is awesome, if you're going to stay more than two nights is best to go on Expedia. Com and book your room on credit card or debit card.

Women do not go here! Someone tried to break in my room at 3am! I had to call the police & file a report! They told me they couldn’t tell who it was because there are no cameras in the hotel at all besides the front desk! Then they told me because I booked through a third party online they couldn’t give me a refund. They have bed bugs & stains on the sheets. I believe they are setting women up here & I am calling my local news station. Only put 1 star because 0 was not an option. Worst experience of my Life.

Needs a good cleaning, especially the elevators and hallways. Never been in a hotel without a box of tissues in the room. One of the elevators has been broken for two days (so far).

Terrible customer service! Two times my f4iend and I called to confirm our reservations, and both times we were given the wrong information. When I went to check in they didn't have the correct amount of rooms, which was one of the issues we had called about. The staff kept mentioning that the reservation was done through expedia after I had explained to them 3 times that I spoke with someone there directly. I will never stay there and I would never recommend them to anyone.

Very bad hotel does not reeat anyone porq if the guests do not realize they can lose their valuables and the managers do not take responsibility.

The bedding in both of the beds in our room had multiple stains that appeared to be bodily fluids. The stains were on four individual pieces of bedding. After asking the manager on duty to observe the stains, she agreed to refund our money. It has been three months and I have not received the refund. See attached photos.

Somple and clean. Had fire alarm at 2oclock. No information or water were offered. No where to grab breakfast. You will need to walk 10-15 to nearest eatery or uber $7.92. Lots of shopping at same distance. Very functional stay if you can get a good rate.

My visit was perfect, the only thing I would change is that all you keep the Check in process takes a little longer than you would have wanted.

Great location. Very clean. Had a mess up at check in, upgraded me to a premium room for the misunderstanding and inconvenience.

We had good customer service at both check-in and check-out. Also, the room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean. Only down side, the walls are extremely thin — we heard our neighbors easily.

I stayed in room 439, check in my boss and I at 9am and slept till 12pm came back at 8pm and slept till 11pm and when we got up we discovered that we had been bitten up by something? My boss went through the beds, flipped them and we found bed bugs! We immediately packed our things and call the front desk. We checked out and had to find a laundromat to wash our clothes, not to mention we had important meetings to attend and could not keep our appointments. Very upset right now in the laundromat would never consider staying here or any other red roof inn plus or regular one ever again!

If you want to get HIGH just walking down the hall of this "NO SMOKING" hotel then this second hand WEED smoke shop is the one for you. DON'T WANT TO SLEEP AT NIGHT? Then stay here! Someone BANGED ON OUR DOOR twice until we answered at 11PM. Then 3 others knocked between 12 — 3 AM. The walls were thicker in my college dorm. You can literally here the people above you take a piss. And if you want to check in forget about it I had the reservation e-mail, CC and DL on the reservation… still wouldn't let me in. Had to wait until my boyfriend got off work to be "physically here" to check in. SO STUPID and the receptionist copped an attitude when I said I didn't understand why I couldn't check into our reservation. Then she refused to move us to a king bed even though the hotel was 90% empty. All that said the cleaning staff was great and very friendly as well as 1 younger manager we met. They allow pets which is very nice. We're up here every week for 4 days and WE WON'T BE BACK. I suggest you save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else.

Clean, nice hotel… I haven't stayed in a Red Roof Inn in 10+ years. This location definitely changed my view of this chain. The price was high due to low availability through the NY Metro area. At a more traditional price, I would consider this location a good value.

Shame on you! Advertising rooms at $279.99 a night. Price gouging! I have seen the prices at $129.99

At over $200 per night, this place could have been better. It was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable, and the outlets convenient. The rest was very bare bones. No carpet. No decaf in the lobby. No half and half, only non-dairy sweetened hydrogenated fat and sweet and low. Not classy. There was also no hot water for the provided tea bags.

Nice, pleasant stay. Clean nice spacious room. Pet friendly. Good Wi-Fi and cable. Friendly staff.

Totally anonymous. Zero service. Check in and sleep. The next morning: Ade.

Hotel is great. Close to shopping and restaurants. Rooms are freshly remodeled and clean, staff is friendly and attentive. Guests during my stay, however, have no idea how to conduct themselves in a hotel. Loud and obnoxious and oblivious to the fact that there were others staying there.

Room was clean, staff was friendly, and price was fair. Bathroom was quote small and limited. No included breakfast, but coffee is free in the morning. Good location for Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) resident applicants.

Rahime is a great front desk guy. Convenient location for a LOT of shopping within walking distance. Only Dog friendly hotel I stay at. The shower/bathroom is very nice. Feel free to sit down in the shower. Fun fact… TVs are HDMI input ready so bring a laptop.

Was in the area for a night for a basketball tournament and it the room served its purpose. The rooms were small but modern. Check in and out was a breeze. Would stay there again if need be.

I thought the room was ok until I turned on the AC. Smelled like someone urinated in the unit. Housekeeping will not come back to tidy room if you are not ready for them at 9:30am. Pet friendly rooms are extremely smelly. High doses of air refreshener used to mask smell. My family has allergies to pet dander so this has been a miserable night. They need to designate a floor for pets because the entire second floor smelled horrible as room doors were opened for cleaning. Not a hotel for folks with pet allergies.

We stayed in the suite. It was very clean, the staff was incredibly accommodating, and the price was reasonable.

Clean sheets. Clean tub. Clean room. Decent LCD. Decent Wi-Fi. Coffee. No breakfast. Only con: Weird black dude in a sport coat lounging in the business center talking loudly on his cellphone about inappropriate personal things all night, every night. Employee?

I never had to wait so long to check in a hotel in my entire life! The only thing worse than that is waiting even longer to check out! You guys have to fix that, it's ridiculous! The room was fine.

This is the second time I stayed. It was a great experience. Except when I woke up the following morning and found a blood stain on the fitted sheet that didn't belong to me. Disgusting!

Low cost. Near the Meadowbrook Pkwy. Industrial area. Not far from shopping. Several maintenance issues. Rain leaked in and flooded the floor. Wi-Fi was slow. Some rooms are run down. Our beds were too soft. Parking lot is dark and gets crowded. Stayed 2 or 3 times. Blah…

Your cancellation fee for the night before should absolutely NOT be an ENTIRE night's stay. I don't mind paying a fee. But that is just ridiculous.

I've stayed in a lot of hotels, and either been very disappointed or very content with my stay. However, this time was a little more disappointing then I actually expected. What pushed my opinion about this location was that the overnight clerk, carelessly gave a room key to my room, to a couple who simply asked to stay in the same room as they did before I got there. The couple claimed that they "possibly" left some items in the room, and the clerk willingly gave them a key to my room, where around 2am I awakened by the clicking of the door. They were doing their best to get in. I opened the door and had to greet them and politely tell them to go away. Soooo, Yeah That Happened.

View sucks. My cat got under the bed even though he shouldn't be able to. Was able to open the non screened window on the 5th floor just enough that someoje could jump out. Wi-Fi is jankey and disconnects constantly.

First time I stayed here this Red Roof Inn earned a solid 4 stars. But when I came back for a second visit, I was beyond disappointed. I can handle no breakfast and no meeting areas. But finding hair in the bed, used soaps in the shower and sink, and barely-functional Wi-Fi was too much. Add to this a leaky clothes iron and keys that stopped working a day early, and I won't be back.

This place is pretty shady. The management likes to open their tenants packages and go through the rooms. One time an employee thought the guests were gone but someone had stayed back sick. And when the guy busted in to the room, my friend was in amazement. No knock no warning, police tactics. If you stay there beware and lock the latch, although they have a way of getting passed that too.
