Review of Courtyard by Marriott Westbury Long Island 3*

I give this hotel — 1000 stars but have to give it 1 only to post my review***** I have always stayed at the Marriott hotels but my experience here was one of the worst experiences I have ever had it my entire life! The hotel claimed we were smoking in the room when there was no smoking going on at all! We even let them check the room to prove that there was no smoking going on and then they left. Then 10 minutes later, the cops are at the door and claimed we gave the managers a hard time when they asked us to leave! They racially profiled us and we’re unhappy to see 6 young black people in the Junior Suite which costs 150 for the night. We were not loud at all and we were very cooperative to the security officer they sent up. After being kicked, we asked to have our money back because there was no smoking going on in the room and they refused to give us our money back! The front desk person didn’t even give us a number or person to talk to it about, he just said we weren’t getting our money back and that’s that. He treated us with no respect at all and showed no mercy for me being a faithful Marriott customer. When I came back the next day to speak again about the incident, I was told the same b/s story and the manager claimed they found evidence of a roll up and it smelled of weed and that they had pictures & a police report. We asked to see the evidence and they said they were not allowed to show me anything even though the report was made on a room under my name! They were unable to work with me in any way to resolve the issue and only gave me a number to another manager at the hotel! My experience left me heartbroken and no longer will I give my money to any of the Marriott hotels and especially the Courtyard because of my racist and disrespectful experience at the hotel! I have opened a case with corporate and look forward to really resolving the issue but will never promote or stay in a Marriott hotel again!
