I had a very unfortunate experience with Hampton Inn in Las Cruces, which is very uncharacteristic of the chain as a whole. I stayed at this location on my way to Austin, TX. I booked my room in advance and arrived at 2am. I was very tired after 11 hours on the road and was planning on 6 peaceful hours in a Hampton Inn bed which are always very comfortable. I arrived in my room and was inundated with the pungent smell of stale cigarette smoke even though I booked a non-smoking room. The room was humid and warm but I figured it would cool down. I set the air to 65 and laid down to sleep. The air ended up being broken and I had a miserable night. It was way too late to have to deal with switching rooms so I suffered through. I will still stay at Hampton Inn in the future but this was definitely a strike against them.

This is my go to when staying in Las Cruces. It is right off of I-25 and has everything you need nearby. Staff is excellent and genuinely cares about your needs. Zero Complaints.

Nice, clean hotel walking distance to Sprouts, Wal-Mart and quite a few restaurants.

Really nice Hampton. I stay in tons of hotels, primarily for work and this visit was a family one. I am a fan of Hamptons in general, so we landed here. The hotel felt new, and their lobby area is nice, big and open. The ladies at the front desk were very welcoming, friendly and warm… from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. Room was very clean, comfortable and with a nice Hampton style sleep quality. We did take advantage of breakfast. There were a ton of people at this hotel the night we stayed so breakfast was nuts in the AM. The gal in charge of keeping everything full and tidy was super busy so if I had one critique it would be that the breakfast area was not so clean and tidy due, lots of the food choices empty… to no fault of the woman trying to keep up. Overall it was a great stay, and when I get back to Cruces, as I know I will — — I will stay here again.

She said the smoking is room doesn’t smell too bad, but here’s some febreeze… Narrator: “but it did smell… very badly. Like 20 years of smokers and the ghosts of every trailer Park of 1000 cancer deaths. ” I booked a non smoking room and the host wouldn’t give me a refund without speaking to her manager — who asked for my status and still couldn’t refund my money the night of — I got blamed for booking within 24 hours and wouldn’t believe me that I didn’t book a smoking room until I showed her my corporate booking tool where I clearly paid the extra $50 to book nonsmoking. So yes I got my money back, but I had to physical come back and ask about it the next day. Still sore from sleeping on my coworkers rollout bed. I travel all over the country staying in hotels. This was the worst experience ever. Thanks for everything.

Clean and comfortable but way out of the way. Took almost 45 min. To get back to I-10.

The rooms are clean and modern. They feel comfortable. The TV services were just upgraded and besides a few bugs, it works great. I have had several 2 week visits to this hotel and I am impressed by the staff on all shifts. There is a walmart on the backside that is convientent for forgotten items at home as well as groceries when I dont want to go out to eat. There are many restaurants withing walking distance and many more in a few minutes drive. The views are great no matter what side of the building you are on. There is a pool, but I havent used it yet. The cookies every afternoon are tempting as well as the lemonade. Many times there is something in addituon to coomies like chips and dip or candy. This is a very nice Hampton to stay in.

Great hotel stay! My wife and I traveled to Las Cruces to shop for a new home Jan. 9 — 16, 2018 (Yes, we bought one on day 6). We're retired empty-nesters, living on a pension and can no longer afford California's high cost of living. First, I made the mistake of booking a low cost room at La Quinta, Mesilla Valley which was an absolute run down dump on the wrong side of town. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, water stains on ceiling, holes in the curtains, peeling paint, the AC had been turned off for the winter but my wife suffers from nocturnal hot flashes… pretty much a disaster for which I was responsible. So I got up early the next day and drove around Las Cruces looking for a better hotel for the remainder of our trip. I found this Hampton Inn, asked to see their rooms and was immediately impressed by the modern and semi-luxurious hotel. We booked the remainder of our trip and were completely satisfied with the friendly staff, free breakfasts and amenities. My only criticism is the staff didn't inform me of all of the hotel features which I discovered on my own; indoor pool and jacuzzi, workout room, and coin-operated guest laundry facilities. It also features a mini business office with computers and printer and tiny store where they sell snacks, laundry soap, etc.

Right across the street from a Walmart which is convenient if you need some supplies. The place itself is a fairly standard hotel, nothing out of the ordinary in either direction.

Hampton Inn & Suites Las Cruces had very good service I was able to check in real quick. The breakfast was very good and it was an overall great experience.

This hotel has nothing special. Though remodeled or built fairly recently, the work was poorly done, and this has affected the quality of the rooms. I hated the breakfast. Would never stay here again.

Typical Hampton. Clean. Good hot breakfast but if they read this the hotel should add an additional waffle iron. Please! I had no problems whatsoever during my stay. Has a Wal-Mart adjacent for convenience but I didn't notice any noise from it.

Overall nice hotel. I found the beds I be uncomfortable due to perferring a softer bed.

Sadly, TV reception was very bad. Audio needs repair, we were told we could move to another room, but that was not an option. Otherwise a good visit.

I didn't actually stay here. There's apparently 2 Hamptons in town and I went to the wrong one. But the front desk guy was really nice!

Clean place, convenient location. But a Mess up on my reservation by their staff that was only resolved when I assertively illustrated that they had to fix it, was it "kinda" fixed. I might stay again. Smoking rooms, be aware.

Super clean hotel. But the staff is definitely lacking. Breakfast was okay but the eggs were disgusting. But a free breakfast is still a free breakfast. One of the nights we stayed they allowed a group of teenage boys to stay in a room next to ours with an adult. Needless to say we didn't get much sleep and when we complained they just said sorry. The front desk was called multiple times by other guests about this group as well. The girl working the front desk was too scared to tell them anything. Oh and they are supposed to have warm cookies in the afternoon and they only make a couple dozen at 3/4 pm. Good luck getting one!

I usually stay at Marriott. They did not have laundry service on Wednesday because they did not have a driver, which I understood. Then I went to buy detergent from them and they did not have any and just told me that there is a Wal-Mart and I could go buy my own. Came across like they did not care. Then on the same day my room was not serviced until I called the front desk, which was about 11AM. Who knows how long they would of taken and I needed towels. Stayed three nights and paid good money to get below average service. Only good experience was the breakfast and the kind hearted lady that worked that area…

Service was impeccable and prompt everytime we needed them. Every person working there, even if just passing you in the hall, always had a smile and a kind hello. The room was spacious, spotless and quiet. The pool/hot tub and surrounding area was very clean and well kept. In short, this hotel was perfect! They will always be my first consideration for my trips to Las Cruces!

Really quick check in. Great room and the bed helped with the best sleep of the week. The hot breakfast was wonderful. Lots of choices of breakfast items. I expected nothing less than the great experience we had. Will book with them again.

Overlooking the local Walmart parking lot, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and breakfast was good.

Off a highway and in front of a Walmart, I thought this was going to be a nightmare of a night. Nope, pleased to say it was quiet. Very little to no noise. Very comfortable beds. Very clean facility. Nice breakfast.

Nice hotel with friendly staff and comfortable accommodations, although a lot of nighttime traffic on a Thursday night (outside of the hotel). Breakfast was tasty and had a lot of offerings, although my daughter was upset to find that the waffle maker Wasser not working. Would stay here again.

Let's start with the pool area. The water was a filthy green with the foam about a foot high in the jacuzzi. Most of the people in the pool area were not staying at the hotel and the front desk attendant couldn't care less. The room was nice, but the toilet/bath room was very small. The breakfast food was good, but there wasn't near enough seating.

Awesome. Well designed hotel, spacious rooms that are thoughtfully appointed especially for business guests. Lighting and an abundance of power sockets and usb charge ports.

Room on the third floor. Good, clean rooms and good breakfast.

Room was really nice, breakfast was AWFUL. Eggs, sausage, and biscuts were all wayyy overcooked… and we got there early right after the food came out.

Great place, great value, and great service! The lobby is classy and nice, rooms are clean and spacious, and the service is exceptional (especially Nick, the guy working the desk when we stayed)! And be sure not to miss the complimentary breakfast. They've got everything and anything you could want: waffles, bacon, eggs, cereal, yogurt, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, fresh juice and coffee, and more.
