The last was super nice. I went in there at 3 am because I had strep throat and just wanted some cold, peace and quiet. The ice machine was broken but they had a really nice deep freezer with ice in it. The room for dark and cold. The pillows and bed were comfortable and the shower was good. Wish they would have had shampoo and body wash.

Very clean and quite. Breakfast was great and the employees were super nice. I would stay here again!

Great value! Clean room (boyfriend said it smelled like “grandmas house” tho), nice tv, great ac, complimentary shampoos, soft bed, decent enough coffee in the morning and pancakes! Complimentary slides for the white sands dunes! Manager on duty was above and beyond hospitable and informative of local restaurants and attractions. If you’re on a budget, this is the place.

The rooms were what you would expect. Nothing bad. Only had a one night stay, and enjoyed my stay with no problems.

Excellent value! Great location on the North end of town. Wonderful staff. Clean and well maintained. Good sized room with upgraded fixtures, a large flat screen TV, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and iron with board. I enjoyed my stay!

Older hotel but super friendly staff. Well maintained and clean. They willlet you borrow sleds for White Sands National Monument for free. Save some money.

Although it is a bit outdated, the services it offers are what you would expect from a motel. Breakfast is included and the TV is big. The staff was very friendly and helpful. In short, although it is nothing of the other world, the staff is friendly and the facilities acceptable.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Helpful regarding local events. Loaned us sleds to slide down the White Sands sand dunes and wax to rub on the bottom so they would slide easier. Enjoyed our 2 night stay.

Great little motel. Very clean and friendly. Wi-Fi worked fine most of the time but our room was close to the front desk. Mornings can get noisy but that's typical and it is the other guests being inconsiderate. Will definitely come again.

Very happy with this Super 8. Super 8 is either really amazing or super trashy! There is never any in-between. This Super 8 was new, clean, affordable, with a great location and an even better staff! I’d say the best part of this Super 8 was the staff! Note: they have free sled rentals if you are visiting white sands. Breakfast was good too.

Outdated decor, visible and unpainted drywall patch jobs, holes on the shower that will eventually lead to black mold… that said the bed was fine and it was cheap. You get what you pay for.

This is one of the best motels we've been in. Everything is fairly new, the office area looks great. The bathroom is spacious, and the shower, according to the wife, is the best she has ever been in. I am 6'5", and I could stand under it without bending over as usual. Very impressed. The bed is huge. There is a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. We will definitely come here again. The price is very reasonable, too.

Clean, and Muriel at the front desk was fabulous. Despite not having a handicapped room, she was able to get us in on 1st floor. Rooms have a recliner, which is necessary for my husband with pulmonary issues. Only drawback… rooms are a bit small.

Clean, quiet, secure parking lot with nice, friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms. Flat screen tv, mini-fridge, free breakfast. Adjacent to the best burger joint around!

The pet friendly room smelled like a veterinarian clinic and to take a shower be ready to get out from under the water. It goes from very cold to very hot anytime someone else uses the water. I personally have had good experiences with other super 8 motels but won't stay at this one again. Motel 6 is far better.

Hotel is a decent hotel. Rooms were clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms were fine. It's not new and fancy, but it's also not 150 a night. Very pleased with our stay.

Treated me well. No elevator to the second floor. My bathtub didn't hold water. Decent service.

Excellent customer service. They offer continental breakfast with many options and have sleds you can borrow for White Sands. If I go to Alamogordo again, I would pay this place another visit.

The gentleman at the front desk was awesome. He was incredibly helpful, after I accidentally booked our room for the wrong night. He offered us sleds to take to white sands as well. It's an older place, but taken care of. The rooms were comfortable. We weren't disappointed. It got the job done and for a decent price. We would stop there again.

Clean with minor maintenance issues. Nothing that inconveniences your trip. Modern, pretty, quiet room. Standard bathroom is not fancy, but gets the job done. Refrigerator, coffee pot, blow dryers available. Sheets are a bit scratchy and bed on the firmer side, but you get what you pay for. Inexpensive, safe room to rest.

I have stayed at Super 8's before and had not very good experiences but this is the best Super 8. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable of the surrounding. He gave us the sledges for sliding at white sands without even asking for no charge. He gave us a lot of information on the best places to see while in Almogordo and star gaze. The stay was also very comfortable and the hotel is very clean and well kept. The breakfast in the morning was not very fancy but it was just right and still the best that I have seen so far with all the items stocked for everyones needs. If in Almogordo again I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to all I know.

Great staff! Victor is a real gem here. He supplied us with lots of information about Alamogordo and White Sands NM and even free sand sleds for fun in the dunes. Showers are great and the rooms are clean.

I would definitely recommend this motel. I was impressed how clean the rooms were. The room had a blow dryer and the shower head was nice. The only thing I would say is the carpet in the hallway and room need upgrading. The staff was friendly. I would stay there again.

The visit was really nice. The guy at the desk was very helpful in telling me where things were in town and recommended things to do. It was really helpful.

This was the most horrible experience. I made reservations 2 months ago requiring a handicapped room plus another room for the rest of the family. After driving 8 hours only to find the manager did not hold my handicapped room. When I asked if he would go buy a shower chair at KMart he said "NO". When I asked if he would take some of the price away so I could go buy one he said "NO". This "manager" should never work with the public. Mind you this was all verified & confirmed 2 months ago.

Horrible place. Booked a non-smoking double room, and went with my wife. She was about 7-months pregnant back then. The guy at the front desk gave us a smoking room, so we asked to change the room (before we entered the room). He asked $10 surcharge for changing the room (even though we booked a non-smoking room). We explained that we cannot use the smoking room since my wife was pregnant, but he refused it. We paid extra 10 bucks to change to a non-smoking room. our room was closed to the main gate, so during the whole-night, I could hear the door bell ringing, and I couldn't sleep. Never want to go back.

Location was great; room was decent; breakfast was okay-you get what you pay for. Service was very friendly. They fixed my broken heater right away and gave me lots of good tips on places to see.

If I could, I would give this so called "hotel" zero stars. The staff was full of crap and shady. This place is bad and whoever thinks about staying here is delusional. The rooms were filled with insects and crumbs. It was so disgusting that even the manager kicked us out.

The staff here were racists towards us. Cockroaches and crumbs all over the place and they didn't want to clean it or give us different rooms, so they kicked us out! HORRIBLE.

This was a great hotel and at a very cheap price! It was extremely clean and safe. The hotel has been recently remodeled and the owner and staff are very nice. We are always on a budget and worried about going for cheaper places, but I highly recommend this one, not a single complaint.

I had to stay here for two nights during the big storms in Arizona. It was a very nice place to "hole up"! Room had everything I needed — microwave and fridge; very comfy mattress; only thing missing was stopper for bathtub. I improvised with a washcloth but perhaps that could be fixed? Anyway, thanks for the hospitality.

Clean and Very Friendly Service! Our experience was very, very good. Very friendly and accommodating on check in. Allowed us to see a room before we stayed. Non-smoking room smelled very clean and fresh, carpets were like new, clean refrigerator, air conditioner ran very quiet. Wi-Fi worked well, Bed was very comfortable with pretty clean sheets. We are from Florida and travel through the area, definitely plan to stay here again.

This Super 8 is the nicest I've stayed at, freshly renovated, clean rooms, brightly lit, and decent breakfast. There's not a whole lot of choice for places to stay in Alamogordo but this one won't disappoint, for a reasonable price.

It has got to be one of the nicest Super 8's in the country and among the least expensive places to stay in Alamogordo. Very clean, nice rooms, very friendly and competent staff, well maintained facility. We stayed at the Motel 6 down the street the previous night and it's horrible, especially when compared to this nice quality Super 8. I would be happy to stay here any time I pass through the area.
