Great amenities, family friendly, very clean. We are staying in the north air stream, and it's been a very pleasant stay so far. The whole motel is clean and the staff is friendly and pleasant. The retro vibe is fun and kitschy. The beds in the air stream are quite cozy and my husband and I have slept very well the past few nights. The hotel has a lovely pool and hot tub. Everything is well maintained and the staff are sweet and knowledgeable. There's beach equipment to borrow, like beach chairs and sand buckets, even a stroller. We haven't tried the bikes yet, but they said they even have infant seats available. They don't have bikes for small children. The bikes all look like they are on good shape and ready for fun. They also have board games and DVDs to borrow. The atmosphere is definitely built for families wanting to just have fun together.

Staff at front desk were extremely polite and very informative. Hotel allows you to check out bicycles and they have beach chairs you can borrow. Parking was readily available on the location. Once in the room, everything was very clean and very well presented. My partner and I occupied a petite room in a cottage that was part of the hotel. It was perfect for 2! Will definitely come back!

Strongly recommend this hotel. We spent 2 nights there, and then room was clean and nice and we enjoyed the swimming pool and the hot tub very much. And it was just one block away from the boardwalk. Great location!

One hundred percent recommend they have complimentary breakfast, bikes, they even let you stay until 6 after you check out. Large Peking lot so no parking worries. I went with my family of nine and we had a bunch of fun. They have a mini golf right next to it and you get a discount. Also an ice cream place and the boardwalk is very close. Super happy with my experience.

When we booked our stay, they said nothing on the phone about being 25 and older to have your own hotel room. When we figured that out, they were very rude and disrespectful and had no respect to their paying costumers on the phone. It was our first time going their, and I would never book a stay their if I were you. All we wanted was to enjoy our day after prom, and this was how we were treated. Disrespect. Thank you for the horrible hours of my life wasted. Have a good day.

An amazing stay at a really cool and clean hotel. Airstream trailers we're clean, well stocked, and lots of fun. The gentleman at the front desk was helpful and Super friendly. We would absolutely stay here again!

My boyfriend and I were visiting Wildwood for our anniversary and needed a nice little place to go to for a couple days to relax from out of town. Not only was the staff very helpful with upgrading us to a better room, but we got great recommendations for things to do in the area. It was an overall great experience and the room was comfortable and in great walking distance from the boardwalk. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you :)

While the actual accommodations are your typical hotel, the place as a whole is wonderful! The rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is decorated nicely with a cool vibe. The pool and hot tub are stunning and very relaxing too!

Good place to stay. Close to beach and boardwalk, near mini golf, and has a heated pool. Size of rooms is bigger than most standard hotels. Overall great facility. Has some negative such as no real dining room or kitchen. Continental breakfast was only available during weekend.

Lovely hotel. Very sweet lady at the front desk named Theresa. She made a my day. The room was cute and clean!

Decent spot actually, for Wildwood. Looses 2 stars for not having any outlets to charge your phone… you actually have to pull the whole bed out to find the one outlet in the room. They need to add an extension cord. Kind of a necessity in the 2018… very inconvenient.

We have been coming to Starlux for years staff is very friendly and the place is always clean. Great for kids not a heavy party hotel. Highly recommend.

Did an overnight trip in the off season; the price for the room couldn't be beat. My standard room had microwave and minifridge; the bathroom had plenty of towels. The coffee maker and safe were a nice, unexpected touch. The room was very clean and sticks to the vibe of the location. Plenty of power outlets too.

Great prices and the suite rooms are very nice and clean. It's a perfect hotel if your staying one night or a week! They have everything you need!

I felt it was a little over priced for what it was, but we did go during peak season. Otherwise the aesthetics are very cool. We were a little bummed out that we did not get one of the mini campers, and we were given a room not even attached to the main building but it was less than 50 yard walk to get to the pool. Also I heard the campers aren't all they are cracked up to be, but they do look cool. Location was great. Room was clean enough. Will probably try somewhere else for our next wildwood trip.

Pleasantly surprised at how nice hotel was. Very clean room and staff was very friendly. Perfect location when doing polar plunge.

I stayed here this past week (Oct 2017) It was a very enjoyable stay. The checkin was very easy and quick. The staff was extremely polite. I asked for a room on the bottom floor due to disability. They didn't have one so I was able to upgrade for less. The game room was an unexpected delight. The room was spotless… literally. I'm not usually the type to get into pools or hot tubs because of germs… but it was so clean that I didn't mind. Flitered water and ice 24/7 was nice.

We had a great time here. It was a last minute get away. The price was great and the room was clean and comfy. Quick walk to the beach and restaurants!

Open year round. Jacuzzi outside! Beautiful rooms!. Spotless! Will be back for sure. Reasonable rates. Free washer and dryer usage. Free bikes to ride. Free Beach gear to use. We can't say enough about this place!

Looked it… Updated to a retro theme like many Wildwood, NJ beach hotels. Good pool and hot tub. Avg rooms with good hotel service. Great location near boardwalk, convention center, and restaurants — all within walking distance. Had an above avg mini golf course and ice cream shop adjacent to property, too.

This place is totally great! From the girl at the front desk! To the sand toys, boogie boards, sand chairs and baby strollers! Oh wait they have bikes you can use too! All this and breakfast in the morning.

I love The Starlux. I have stayed in the airstream. I have stayed in the hotel. I have stayed in their tiny house. All of them were clean and comfortable. Service is always fabulous. The location can't be beat.

We love staying here. This is our third summer vacation at Wildwood. Located on the south side of the piers at the Wildwood sign you are close enough to walk to the action, but away from all the crazy and big crowds. The hotel is clean, relatively quiet, and the staff is friendly. We always rent a suite as there are 6 in our family and we like to stay together. We love the 50's vibe of the decor here and would not stay anywhere else.

The place was nice, but a bit misleading. It is a motel as all the entrances to the rooms were outside. We were called the two weeks prior because under the assumption the rooms were overbooked and they upgraded us to a Suite. The room itself was all brick with vinyl flooring and carpet. Upon entrance one of the bathroom lights were out and items for the complimentary coffee were missing. We requested a playpen prior to arrival, and were told it would be there. It wasn't there at the room but they did bring it later on so no issues. The pool and hot tub which is located out front and was nice. They also offer a continental breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately for us there was maintenance done in the township and our last night there the water kept coming in Brown. We were told that they would allow us to check out a half hour or so later if it didn't clear up so we could possibly shower. I know this is not the places fault but I would also think that there would be some type of back up contingency plan for these things. Amenities are nice small arcade room located inside, miniature golf course next door and ice cream. They also have Beach accessories if needed or requested.

Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. It was a great place to stay with teenagers… We took four. The beach and boardwalk were very close and we all enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well. The teens especially liked being able to use the bikes, play mini golf and walk for ice cream. They even spent some time in the game room. My husband enjoyed the areas outside to sit and relax.

Great hotel. Easy to check in, let us use the pool all day on checkin and checkout. Got a nice upgrade which was nice, but even the standard rooms seemed nice. Pool was clean, and music was pleasant and hot tub was a hit in the evening. We used the free bikes a lot, and it was fun and easy to cruise at the piers. We are definitely coming back next summer!

The facility was very clean and the employees are awesome. The manager (well who I think is the manager) manages 2 hotels The Star Lux and Blue Palms. He gave me the most convenient rooms (probable wasn't intentional but…) I could possible get and they both were great. Star Lux has a separate living room and a small kitchen area. If you never had a suite before you will love it, but for people who never book anything but a suite (like myself) it is what's expected. Outside is gorgeous. The have a small greenhouse like space with a sitting area and TV's to watch. It's very clean inside and is a great place to relax. I love the fresh air that breezes by and natural light. The pool is nice. It's not large, but you shouldn't expect that here anyway. The beach is literally footsteps away. CONS: If you have small children the walk to the stores/rides/amusement is a few blocks up. The hotel is right across from the main start of the boardwalk. It's great to take pictures, but I would suggest you have a wagon/strollers if you're heading to the fun area. Overall I would stay here again.

Loved it! I stayed in one of the airstreams across the street with my parents, and it was very comfortable! The staff is great too!

I have a memory matress at home it was so much more cumfey I heavely suggest it. Ots also the least likley place in town to get muged i♡mystay.

It was the best out of town experience I've ever had in a hotel. The room was super cozy and I loved the retro decor (especially the lava lamps! ) The staff was extremely friendly, especially Terri because she saved my life! If it wasn't for her kindness, I never would have been able to get home. She was kind enough to stay after her shift to jump the battery in my car. The amenities were pretty awesome and you're across the street from Wildwood beach! I will most definitely be returning!

Stayed here for the Wild Half Series Weekend and had a wonderful experience. I've been going to Wildwood for years and this easily gets the top spot of best place I've stayed. From its location, to its accommodations (Free bike rental, free parking with your stay, continental breakfasts and more) and to the cleanliness of its facilities, the Starlux was perfect. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends, and would definitely like to stay again.

Checking in the staff was wonderful. But the staff member checking us our was too busy on her cell phone talking loudly. Room were clean and fit the description.

Best place in the Wildwoods! Beautiful, clean rooms and friendly staff… also very close proximity to the beach and other attractions.

Very clean and classy place. The hotel staff are the nicest and informative people we met in the area. We stayed for 4 days and can't wait to go back It is our new destination each October. A diamond in the rough!

Decent hotel. Wasn't too expensive but it wasn't too great. The view from the hotel is nice though.

We booked a small room at the Star Lux for just a quick getaway to the beach for myself, my husband, & my 4 year old daughter. While the room was small, it met our needs perfectly for the one night. My daughter especially liked the lava lamp. It was clean & tidy w/ ample towels & soaps. Two of our favorite things about this hotel were the pool & close proximity to the beach & boardwalk. We didn't have to get in our car at all once we arrived, which I loved!. We parked in a back lot, which I liked too b/C I felt I could leave my car overnight with beach things in it w/ o it being disturbed or ticketed. The pool was the absolute best part! It was EXCEPTIONALLY clean. The pool attendant was constantly cleaning it to keep our bugs and/ or debris. I recommend Uncle Bill's Pancake House for breakfast. It's a short walk with great, fast service! We'll definitely book the Star Lux again!
