I stayed about 2 weeks ago in this hotel and I do not regret it at all, tremendous Service, Mr. Pedro looked for the best solution for me, and my companions, My son-in-law The glasses were left, and he made it arrive at my house I recommend it 100% The breakfast Very rich, if I return I will not hesitate to stay there again! 😇God bless you.

Excellent service, comfort, cleanliness and accessible.

Do not use them. We were stranded at Newark airport because the shuttle was not running and there was not one person working the front desk. We had to take a cab back and climb Over the front desk to get out keys so we could leave.

Clean room. Great service. Good location to the airport. Comfortable
bed. Wish the bar and restaurant was open on weekends.

For waiting for the departure of the aircraft is suitable, but not a long stay. Located in the airport area, the hotel is surrounded by parking lots and highways, so walk will not work. The staff are very friendly. It would be worth doing a cosmetic repair.

My rating is based solely on the long term parking they offer and my interaction with hotel staff to park. When I first got to the parking lot, there were no signs anywhere regarding the parking service they provide food a charge. I went inside to inquire and did not find anyone at the check in area. After waiting a good ten minutes, I called out for someone. A lady came slugging out of the back showing me she's frustrated for being called for help. Then her answers were very dry when I inquired about the parking service. For about $10 a day parking, they are not exactly cheap. They can definitely provide better service. Also this interaction left a bad taste for Wyndham garden. I'd not want to stay there when looking for hotel.

The staff there was very nice and helpful. The hotel itself is old so nothing fancy. You can hear guests in other rooms since the walls are thin. It's not bad for one night's stay.

I read the reviews before I even made my reservations and decided to give it a try anyway. So I will take full responsibility for not heeding the advice of others. Wyndham in my opinion should do an audit of there properties to see which of them are even in condition enough to have the Wyndham name attached. This property was not even clean in places. They served breakfast on Saturday from 6-10 am but on this particular day they made the conscious decision to let this large group eat and everyone else could eat from 9-10. My air didn't work they called engineering, he was able to resolve the issue but those type of things should not have happen on the onset of one's stay on a hot humid night. I only have it two stars because I did win 25.00 on instant scratch offs. I used my reward bonus for the stay. 15, 000 points wasted.

This hotel is very dirty. The first room smelled so bad, still had trash on the floor and the a/c was broken. The staff moved me to my 2nd room, that had a very old, hard bed. I asked to speak to the GM who moved me to a 3rd room. This room still had a very uncomfortable bed but did not smell and had a/c. Upon staying in room, I discovered that the housekeepers have probably never moved the chair to sweep under it, very dirty. I will spare the picture of the wash cloth I used to wipe everything down, you would never stay there if I shared it. The food very average. Best part of the hotel was the front desk staff was nice, along with the bar staff. Outside of that, not worth the money. Stacey.

Simply put, you get what you pay for. My room looks dated, no water pressure in the shower as if they are trying to conserve water or something. The shower literally releases a thin single stream. The good thing is that the air conditioner worked at least. It's unfortunate because this hotel is in such a prime location you would think management would capitalize on that and make the necessary investments for this place to truly shine. With that said, I cannot recommend this hotel. Spend the Extra money for the Marriott which is not too far from the airport.

Very good Service the Bar Tender was great very helpful. I forgot his name his got a Polish accent if you need to whine down after a long day checkout the hotel bar. Eric will be there to take care of you. My Egyptian friend runs the outside shop by the hotel lobby. Such a gentleman and an absolute professional. Very knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel room and bathroom is very clean the lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful. I really appreciate her. I can't wait to go back.

The room is flooded. The bathroom floor also. There is No Wi-Fi.

Very convenient that the shuttle from the airport runs 24/7. I arrived at 2am and was famished. I didn't expect to eat that night, but when I arrived at the hotel I discovered that they have a deli open all night. It was perfect and I had a nice Caesar salad and a glass of milk. The rooms were a bit older, but still nice and had comfortable beds. I would definitely start here again.

It is the ideal place to catch the plane early in the morning. Great rooms, clean, comfy beds! Coffee maker. It has a shuttle to the terminal and room service.

Great place and close to the airport. A lot of people coming in and out of the hotel. It’s a fast paced place since it is close to airport and major highways. Great little restaurant/bar/lounge with good food and over priced drinks. All in all I would go again and it was a great place, especially since it’s so close to airport with shuttles and parking.

Our room was dirty. Carpet looked gross. Tile was dangling above the shower. No soap. My husband and I were up all night itching and feeling like bugs were crawling on us. There was a pubic hair in the bed under the blankets. When we checked in after driving 6 hours we had to stand there and wait for a half hour because they screwed up our reservation. There was a pile of plates outside the door next to ours when we got there and they were still there when we left. All around horrible experience! Never again.

The Hotel is very good. They include breakfast, very close to the airport and have airport shuttle every 30 minutes 24 hours.

This hotel was decent for a short stay between our flight and train trip. I appreciated the airport shuttle. The room was clean, though there were some things that didn't seem particularly well cared for (air conditioner was falling off the wall and the bathroom had shifted panel ceiling). The mattress was hard. Good for a night before or after a flight, but not longer.

Breakfast not included the bed had some. Women's hair all over it. The bathroom was very beautiful. Location great.

3-day stay. Bed linen 80% clean. Electric heating annoying. Disturbance after 10pm by neighbouring room (loud music, very basslastig) was not stopped after informing the reception by security. Few sockets or USB charging plugs that were already common in other hotels were missing. No fridge. Bathroom clean. Room service OK. Coloring somewhat frumpy. Price was fine, but some motels were better on our trip. Have expected more from this hotel.

Hotel needs update at inside structure; bathrooms, carpets. Dirt stained tub, coffee maker. Desk reception person was colder than day weather. Person at check out time was very kind. Airport shuttle was on time, and very helpful.

I had a fear because of the proximity to Newark airport. Well, we don't hear planes. A large hotel away from New York but passing through Lincoln Tunnel without cork it takes 30 minutes to arrive in New York (toll).
The rooms are comfortable typical US (large beds, clim etc). A nightclub is present in the hotel as well as shops.

This is a very nice hotel that we use when we are flying out of the Newark Liberty Airport. It has very well appointed rooms, plenty of parking, good deals on the rooms with extended free parking of up to 14 days with just one nights stay. There is a shuttle to and from the airport that runs on half-hour intervals, the driver helps load and unload your luggage to and from the airport/hotel. The front desk personnel are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. There is a bar and lounge, conference and or reception facilities, a snack bar, small store as well as a restaurant on the first floor. The food is delicious in the restaurant and they give good sized portions with a reasonable price. We have stayed here many, many times and have never been disappointed, ever. If in the area or flying out of Liberty I would highly encourage staying here, it's worth it.

Wonderful staff and clean, comfortable room. I was very tired when I checked in and asked for a quite room. The woman at the check in desk was very accommodating and sure enough, I had a nice quiet room where I got the sleep I needed. Thanks!

Really old run down hotel. They are located right next to the airport yet it took over an hour for the shuttle to pick us up. The hotel itself is very run down. Rooms are small and are old. The hallways are dark and dirty. The room its self was quiet dirty. I am surprised this is under the wydham name it isn't anything up to Wyndham standards. Hotel staff also is not the nicest. Stay somewhere else if you have the option. Pay the extra.

As all other posts say, it needs a revamp, but you get what you pay for. Staff weren't overly helpful but weren't bad. We were put in a room where the insulation had gone on the door and with it snowing outside the heating was doing nothing to help. They immediately changed our room on request, but it was just inconvenient as our toddler was already sleep as we arrived after 12am. Shuttle from airport was a great help and comes every 30 min. 24 hr snack bar was also great with fruit!

Mediocre no c is nothing to expect from the hotels near the airports.

Loved the room, just wish it had a microwave and mini fridge. Also, the beds could have been more comfortable, although I liked the bedding. It was also odd how doors and noises in the hallway felt like in my own room, so I was startled a few times. Having the restaurant and bar conveniently in the hotel was very nice.

Not too bad for an airport Hotel, a bit dated, very expensive breakfast!

We were guests for one night for a problem with a flight. Not very clean room is a bit cold. Nice and friendly staff.

The room was very dirty. Everything is old. I don't like anything.! I don't recommend anything!

Booked online where only King bed was available. Checked in immediately and requested two beds. The Receptionist charged additional $$ for two beds instead of accomodating stranded guest (our flt was cancelled). The rooms were very dull, wallpaper partially peeling off. The good part, we needed to store some food in the refrigerator, and they offered to bring one in the room.

The building is old, the parking lot is short, the shop that is in the reception is very expensive and attend reluctantly.

We stayed here and left our car with them while we took a cruise. On a very busy road. We had a ground floor interior facing room and it was very quiet despite the rood and airport. We would stay here again.

Airport Shuttle runs for 24h, breakfast is possible.

The air conditioner didn't work properly and it was up in the 90's when we were there. The bed was hard as a rock. It literally felt like we were sleeping on a box spring. The day we left, we had until 12:00 to check out but my husband and I just got up at 6:00 am because neither of us could sleep on that bed. The cable is terrible and the room service costs a fortune. I highly recommend you find somewhere else to stay.

Top notch service. And also amazing yet very delicious food. All the workers are super polite. I would go everyday if I could.

Rooms are great. Need easy access power outlets. 553 didn't have an outlet. I had to pull the bed forward and unplug the alarm to access it. Check-in staff need to grow a smile.

Dirt on the wall in the bathroom behind the door. Housekeeping talking loud right outside my door at 7:15 am on a Sunday. The light switch did not work so I had to screw the light bulb in and out to turn the light on and off. (Ceiling door light) Room smelled like marijuana when we first came in. Roof leaking into the hall on my floor. Mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. Lamp had no light bulb. Most staff were nice but stay was not the best. Room 550.

Really 3.5 stars. Surprised by good restaurant on site but different owners. Menu was large with nice variety. Service decent there. Appeared to have front desk scheduling problems. Big groups arrive but not enough front desk assistance. That is a management scheduling issue. Room a bit dated but it's not supposed to be 5 star. Good value for sure.

Friendly staff, spacious rooms and comfortable facilities such as a dining room and swimming pool are perfect and the Wi-Fi pretty well. The only thing that fails are the lifts, they should put another and more new. To catch the elevator there q wait an average of two and a half minutes.

Good location with free airport shuttle. Pleasant desk people and bar. The bed was clean and everything in the room worked. It's not a high star hotel so it is a little used but looked and smelled clean.

My wife is a travel agent so I'm going by her viewpoint. Room is kinda small. Furniture, wall paper and carpet is dated. Decor is Aircraft and airport inspired. Bathroom is small the tiles in the ceiling are all different. If someone is on the bowl, you could hit them while opening the door. The room smells and looks clean and comfortable. For $90 something dollars including tax, it's not so bad, for staying just outside of NYC.

It is not a great place, and the quality of the front desk Lady is not nothing nice and warm. If you only need to sleep close to the airport and cheap, this may be a good option.

Average accommodation considering the price. The rooms are spacious but the bathroom looks old and outdated. The bathtub and faucet all need upgrades Our bathroom had no exhaust and was always humid and damp as a result. Found it difficult to reach the front desk late evenings as they are busy. Had to call Expedia to get a message across. On the positive side is the housekeeping and the friendly staff and location.

Definitely an older property that needs some attention. But the staff was friendly and helpful and it was clean. The pool area was nice. Not bad for an overnight before a flight out of Newark. Surprisingly quiet despite being so close to the airport.

Pretty comfortable, reasonably clean, and comparably cheap. Booked very last minute after our flight was cancelled. Staff was very helpful. There is also a free shuttle to the airport every half hour, so it is a very convenient and affordable place to stay if you're traveling out of the Newark airport. Only downside was that we didn't initially have towels, but that may have been a result of our booking the room an hour before arriving.

I rented a car in the u-save office in the Wyndham hotel. Really nice staff, got me out quick so I could enjoy my vacation. Only downside was the wait for the shuttle van to get to hotel.

Dirty! Unfriendly staff at reception. Had to pay for car even after we paid for park and fly. Never sent shuttle to pick us up at airport. Had to pay for a cab. Actually we would have rated zero stars!

There is no parking space available at this place, and one of the shuttle bus crashed my parked car and ripped the bumper off. Hotel refused to hold any responsibility whatsoever. I came to New York on a business, and now my car is wrecked and can't get around anywhere. Hotel refused to reimburse any transportation, and now I'm stuck here having to figure out all the transportation myself. Apparently this kind of incident happens often in this hotel as they don't have enough parking lot for their capacity. You will have trouble parking at this hotel, and same thing may happen to your car. Better stay away from this hotel.

The hotel is next to the airport. There is no free Wi-Fi in the room, restaurant to shut down at midnight, room service stopped after 1 o'clock in the evening, so if your flight is awkward, your options are very limited. Although the carpeted corridor is very dark, but the room itself was nice, high-end toiletries is a plus. Breakfast is available in the hotel's restaurant, very convenient, but very expensive.

I think the impressive lobby and common areas make the rooms more disappointing. More tidy than clean. Bathroom not nice, only decent. Shoddy Wi-Fi. Small parking lot. No free breakfast.

My friend was staying in this hotel and he complained of not having a microwave owen in his room which I thought was a basic. The room was spacious and neat, I liked the ambience, location, other facilities of the hotel for a travelling executive.

The bathroom was ok which is the first thing l check. But I think this will be my last stay here… the heating unit is so old and loud, its hard to sleep. The carpet in the room was not clean. Then there is the loudest disco/club music coming from somewhere downstairs and I'm on the fourth floor… its so loud and ridiculous because it started when people were getting ready to sleep… really at a hotel. I knew it was too cheap to be good!

When getting the shuttle ride from the hotel to Newark airport the shuttle driver was very rude and didn't even help us with our bags. The hotel though was very nice and all employees were very nice. Except for the shuttle driver.

The bar was enjoyable but quiet. Surprisingly good food, especially the pizza! The room did the job. Nice enough. Clean. Quiet.

Wow, how to rate. Staff is friendly/helpful. Beds are comfortable, room is clean, so willing to give 4 stars for that as a hotel has to get that right… but lacks in so many other areas that I could see why others may rate a 2 or 3 star, but a 3 is a fair min rank. If you only need to stay a night or two, sure, what the heck. Airport shutter runs every 30min from the hotel at the top and bottom of the hour, which was typical for another more well appointed hotel. I find it hits airport P4 about 10min later. White shuttle bus, with paper sign in windows, so you know what you are looking for. Seats look like they have never been cleaned, and have been peed on, though the shuttle did not smell… though from the looks you would expect it to. The hotel has seen better days. VERY worn looking. Walls, floors, furniture, elevators, all look very overdue for being tossed and start over. Every time the elevator makes it to my floor, I'm surprised the door opens. Also VERY dated. No typical usb power, microwave, fridge. Whole thing is very small. Toilet looks like it belongs in an office building. While the room is clean, everything is worn, and the very old outlets and switches are dirty from time. Food. Well, they don't really have room service but there is an ok restaurant on premises. You have to go downstairs for carryout if you want to eat in room. My second stay I contacted the local papa johns.

Very friendly staff and clean facility. Bathroom was extremely small. Rooms are not equipped with USB power ports and attempting to access Wi-Fi eventually became so frustrating that I just gave up. If you are a consumer that does not require any 21st century amenities, you will be satisfied.

United airlines booked me into this hotel after my flight was cancelled. After the bad and rude service I received from the airline I was welcomed at the reception. Ok the hotel is not what I would have chosen but the staff were polite and friendly. The room was big and reasonably clean. The burger from the bar was ok and good beer. A welcomed break from the airport.

The AC is super loud and annoying, there's hair over everything in the bathrooms and the Wi-Fi works half the time. Fix your Wi-Fi issue. On the other hand the beds are very comfy and the cable surprisingly isnt crap. Ok I guess.

This is by far the worst hotel I ever stayed, thanks to bad weather. Front desk is very rude and they make you wait if they want to. If you call for room service, they will ask you to come and get your food from downstairs and on top of it, you have to stay on the call for 30 mins to get anything done. Never, ever going to stay here, will definitely ask my employer to get rid of this hotel from their approved hotel list.

I stayed for 6 days. Shower makes a loud noise and it has a smell not a good one. Hotel staff is okay and bed is comfy but parking is bad.

I had two rooms reserved for three nights for myself and family. The AC in one room was noisy and barely functional. The Wi-Fi did not work at all in either room. Ice machines did not work, printer for airline boarding passes did not work. The floors are dirty and the air circulation throughout the hotel is poor. When I complained they offered to move us to different rooms, but this was not practical for our situation. The staff in general was courteous and tried to help, but this place is badly managed, unclean and not pleasant. I would not stay here again.

Haven't stayed at the hotel yet but called about our late arrival in Newark and spent I've been on hold so far for 24 minutes. Still on hold as of this post. I need to chat with the desk because, even though I paid for the room, come our arrival midnight tomorrow night I need to be sure they don't book our room away as a no show. Have had it happen before.

I was afraid by the other reviews, but it all depends on your standards. My room was large, my bed was comfortable. The place is run down and has a strange but very faint smell, hard to say quite what it is, but that smell wasn't in my room. But, oh, my room had no water (vandals had stolen the handles). But at that rate, for one night, who cares? The worst part: the amtrak station is close but you can't get there, and uber drivers can't figure out how to drive to the hotel either. I might have spent the $30 for a better known EWR hotel.

I absolutely had to write a review for this hotel and for Denise and Acquan from the front desk staff. My elderly in-laws were put up in this hotel by the airline after their flight was cancelled. I live 3+ hours away and we had left my in-laws at the airport all checked in and set. Needless to say 5 hours later their flight was cancelled and we felt hopeless. I checked the reviews online for the hotel and was extremely concerned because it didn't look good. My in-laws said the hotel was lovely and were very pleased. In addition to that Denise helped me over the phone and extended a late check out, helped with the shuttle to the airport, meal vouchers, and was extremely helpful and kind. When I couldn't reach my in-laws via cellphone or by calling their room several times, Acquan ran up to their room to check on them. My in-laws were happy with the room and food, and I was relieved and felt very well taken care of by the staff. It's not that often that I feel so grateful and overwhelmed by such good, caring customer service! The hotel certainly has this right!
