Very accessible place to stay.

The front desk service was fine. The rooms were clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The location was far from what we needed (airport, baby shower venue, friends houses, and good places to eat and hang out). The only complaint I have about this hotel is the amount of sound that comes through the walls. Our neighbors were very loud in the middle of the night and we could hear every single thing which was bad. If it happens again tonight I will complain to the front desk though. Overall I would recommend this hotel if it's close to what you need.

I like how they try and deceive potential hotel-goers with savvy angled shots of the rooms which do not depict what the actual condition of them are really like. Of course they are going to try and market the hotel in the best possible manner but this is false advertising at its finest. Nearly everything in my room was either out of date or flat out didn't work properly. The air conditioner also did not allow for one to change the temperature so was stuck in a freezing room all night without being able to adjust it. Told the front desk about it at checkout and was told "the thermostat is on the wall". Like, really? Why couldn't you have put a small note on the device so guests can be informed on where it is? I understand I could have put a call in about it but was decompressing from a long day and the last thing I wanted to deal with was maintenance in my room (considering at the time I thought the air conditioner was straight up locked and couldn't do anything about it). Not worth the money whatsoever nor will I ever be back…

We had a wonderful experience! We spent 4 days there and we loved it. The free breakfast was delicious. The rooms were cleaned everyday perfectly. The front desk people were so friendly and helpful, especially, Maria Reyes, who was just so helpful at all times. Thank you again Ms. Reyes! We definitely will stay here again!

Very clean rooms. Had a room with a noisy A/C unit and they switched my rooms no charge or upgrade. Breakfast is the average free type you get at most hotels. Bus line is a short walk and very convenient to get into NYC. Overall very clean will definitely come back if we ever go back to NYC.

I would give this place 20 stars if I could. We chose this place because of the good reviews. We also wanted to tour Manhattan without staying inside the city. This place is perfect for this. Easy to get to, nice parking lot (free parking), close to a bus stop. The area is safe and easy to navigate. Nice restaurants close and even found a nice grocery store near by. The room was clean and comfortable. The price was very reasonable, and we even had a nice view of the city. Our stay was made even better because of the help we received from the lovely lady at the front desk, Nimita (I hope I am getting her name right). We had some trouble with a tour we had booked and she went above and beyond helping us resolve this. We made it easily into the city because of her help navigating the bus system and finding a different tour. She is definitely a star employee! We can highly recommend staying here. This place is perfect for families that want to drive into the area close to the city.

Nice and clean hotel, friendly staff. Easy access to major highway and restaurants.

It was nice but the internet kept going down for the first for or five days of our stay. Also the toilet kept hanging up. Everything else was great.

Very good service and excellent clean rooms with modern furniture. The only bad thing I would say is that the breakfast area sitting is a bit cramped but they've used the space aptly.

Great hotel with clean, newer styled rooms with large TV, fast free Wi-Fi, and plenty of outlets for charging. Staff is friendly and location is a great being a couple minutes away from Metlife stadium.

Hotel staff was outstanding courteous and very helpful rooms were clean facilities clean all was good and the 3D pancake printer was awesome.

Nice hotel. Nice size rooms with all the usual amenities. Parking for big vehicles is possible, but very tight, especially if other big vehicle's are parked.

The day of check in I called in and they allowed me to check in early! At 12:30pm instead of 3 p. M. I also mentioned it was my boyfriends 30th birthday, and they gave me a free upgrade to a mini suite! It was so nice of them! The front desk staff was courteous and polite. I have stayed here in the past for business and a 2 weeks ago for Valentines day! It is close to my job so it is very convenient for me.

Good service, very friendly, accessible. Breakfast was varied and very good. Next to the hotel there is a very good resto-bar and you can also dance. The rooms are very comfortable and beautiful.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, comfortable beds and rooms. My only qualm was I picked it bc it had a pool and it's my own fault for assuming but typically if a hotel has a pool they have a hot tub. I was there on business and would have really enjoyed a good soak in a hot tub after a physically grueling day. The woman at the front desk said the pool was heated but it was probably 72° and that's cold when your internal temp is 98. So there was no swimming and no hot tub : — (

The hotel itself is great as you'd expect of any Holiday Inn: good service, good rooms, standard breakfast. That it's in NJ is why the cost is down, but being right off of Route 3 makes it a little hard to get to. Not a big deal, though. There is a U-Turn spot at the nearest intersection.

We had a pleasant stay. The rooms were nice and spacious, even had a Jacuzzi inside. The breakfast was okay, I wished for more options but good for grab and go. Would definitely stay here again though. Everything was clean.

Stay was pleasant rooms were neemat an clean. The air conditioning wasn't working quite proper. I had the temp seat at 60 and the room was arround 72. Once I figured out to set it lower than the desired temp it was ok.

First room smelled like a million packs of cigarettes, so that was a definite no-go. We switched rooms and didn't have to worry about that toxic air quality. Breakfast the standard IHG low quality. Parking spaces aren't big enough to open your doors once you're parked. I guess they're fine if you're a biker. Side doors from the outside weren't locked at night.

I thought this was a very nice hotel, Until I woke up with my husband with swollen bumps! I had a Very bad experience here! Never booking here again and I recommend the same for other guest, cause they have a bad case of bed bugs! I don't want my kids sleeping here, my husband woke up with very bad bumps on him and they got swollen! We left early and didn't want to stay there any more. So we try to get refund but they keep giving us excuses not to give us our refund. We have photos and videos of the bed bugs and the bites. The way we Have to get our refund is calling the cops and health department. Manager is never there! Leaves the hotel just to staff that don't know what there doing.

Great location if your going to a game, or if you're visiting New York and don't want to pay Manhattan hotel rates.

Cafard found in the morning in my bathroom sink and another disgusting bug with many legs in the kitchen area, behind the warm food. The worst experience!

Room was very clean, staff was friendly, pool and workout area was well maintained, breakfast was really good with gluten free options.

I when there last weekend, intially had issue with room as it was not clean but the manager upgraded to a junior suite which made the stay much better, they have a pool which we didn't use, and a breakfast bar, no room service, we enjoyed our stay nonetheless, wo uld return for another stay.

I stayed at this hotel because it's super close to MetLife Stadium and I was going to Hot97's Summer Jam concert, so the hotel served its purpose for being super close, providing complimentary breakfast and an indoor pool (even tho I didn't go swimming, lol) but I still wanted a hotel with an indoor pool for just in case. I loved the decor of the room, which was clean, and very comfortable… I also picked the hotel because the rooms have a microwave and refrigerator. All of the staff we came across were very helpful and very nice.

Excellent place. Very clean and big room. Their rooms equipped with tv, sink, coffee machine, Microwave, mini fridge, iron and ironing board. Their room are definitely bigger and better than luxury places such as Sheraton hotels. Definitely recommend.

We are on the last night of our 3 night stay. We are Platinum members, and typically love our stay at every location. This one, however, placed us directly above the night club that they failed to mention was next door (despite our stay being for a family of 5). I had to take our garbage out and ask for fresh linens our first night because room service never came. When we went swimming, there wasn't any towels. Our room door latch doesn't work — it looks like it's been broken into a time orrm two. The toilet paper is like dollar store sandpaper. The entire place had a cigarette scent. We will NEVER stay at this location again.

Clean, affordable rates, good staff. Would be 5 stars if they didn't have the hardest most uncomfortable mattress I've slept on in my life. The floor would be better.

Clean, quiet, I have nothing bad to say except you will need a car to move about.

The place is very clean and the service is good. Lixayion of the room is very nice too. I will be going to go book a, stay there with my family again.

5 stars and 2 thumbs up for Flore and her team in Carlstadt! We enjoyed everything about our stay even though we didn't plan on staying so long. Our room was very comfortable, the complimentary breakfast hit the spot, and the coffee was delicious. HIE can be very proud of the folks who work here, they represent the company very well. Thanks for everything, Flore, we'll be stopping in soon to say hi!

Terrible experience — buyer beware! Though my contract (in writing) said NO PREPAYMENT and 100% refund if cancelled more than 2 days in advance — they billed me in full (over 1500.00) 3 weeks in advance. When I asked them to reverse, they refused. I then cancelled my reservation (21 days in advance) and they said "no refunds", per Jose Torres, Mgr. I had to contest the charge as FRAUD with Visa, and get a reversal. Terrible behavior and NO customer service. They do not stick to the contract — even if it is in writing. Behavior was unethical and fraudulent. Please beware.
