WORST STAY EVER! Had to beg for a manager to call me 5 times! which when he finally did he was a jerk and rude and hung up on me! I had a horrible stay because of ever team member In this hotel! DO NOT STAY!

Room was very clean. Breakfast was very good.

I had booked this hotel a few months back but than cancelled, due to personal reasons and my car. I was reassured it was cancelled and all set. The 24th I was still charged the full amount. I was confused on why I would get charged if I cancelled. I live 3 hours away from this hotel, it wasn't as if I could go see why. So I contact the hotel first, The woman who I spoke to had told me I could get a refund just contact expida first. I contact expida and had 2 customer representatives had tried to help me talk to the manager. The woman had tried to even see if they'll even wave the payment. And the manager Jason wouldn't help at all. Even when I tried to speak to the manager direct, he was beyond rude and unperfectional. I even said how I know there is a policy but maybe someone made a mistake I was told I was cancelled and all set and I live 3 hours away. What I was charged was the literally everything I had. He kept going on to be rude. I started crying because instead of trying to help me he was making me feel unhuman. He than spoke to my husband which was angry because Jason made me cry and upset.
He told him show him everything I had and he'll refund me. After speaking to a relative who lives in Jersey, when he arrived they were told Jason wasn't there. It is upsetting I couldn't get a refund. Ir was upsetting that this hotel has horrible customer service. I felt as I had been robbed because I was being charged for a room that I couldn't even enjoy or even step in.

We stayed here for labor day weekend. Hotel is newly renovated. Good amenities like coffee 24/7, free breakfast and ample parking. Rooms are clean. Hotel is not far from Manhattan. Bus stop just across the street.

Excellent place for family who want to visit New York City. — Best price. Good breakfast. Nice customer support — You will reach NYC in 20 minutes in normal traffic — Bus available to NYC port authority terminal every 15 minutes in peak hours and 30 — 45 minutes otherwise. (Just cross the road for the stop) — $9 round trip for adults and $4/$5 for kids. Keep the tickets with you for return. Cash only in the bus I traveled — Hotel Name, MetLife stadium, stop 120 are some of the identifiable place while return in bus — Save time to take ferry from Jersey city (Liberty State Park) to visit Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, workout room, sturdy equipment. Dated. Free parking and breakfast buffet. Reasonably priced, near public tranaportation. Washing machine and dryer for a fee available for your use. Hot coffee, tea and hot chocolate station available until late evening daily. Luggage trolley available. The staff was friendly, warm and they all smiled at you and seemed genuinely happy to interact with you and help you. This staff lit up When they interacted with you. Most place are friendly with kind words. This staff went above and above my expectations. Yes, it's a nice place to stay.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Beds are comfortable and shower pressure was good. Nothing fancy but good value. Nice touch with the complementary necessities (we asked for a razor! ). The only suggestion I would have for them is to avoid doing renovations in the morning. It started around 8am for us right on top of our room. Don't expect a great hot breakfast either, but it's edible. The waffles and donuts were good. For those looking for a NJ stay for a visit to NY, I strongly recommend this hotel. There is a super convenient bus that takes you from a stop right in front of the hotel to Port Authority Terminal in Manhattan. And the last return bus is around 1am. It costs 4.50 per way, and half off if you're a senior. We were a group of 10, different ages, and this worked really well for us.

It said on web site they were renovating but we didn't see or hear anything to confirm that! The room was very clean and the mattress comfortable. There was coffee, tea and hot chocolate set up in the lobby with good pastries. We had same in the morning but they do serve a full breakfast. We had to check out very early. Our destination was the Manhattan cruise terminal and it was pretty close to the hotel.

Pros: The staff is excellent. I left my pillow there and Kasia was extremely helpful shipping it back to Florida. The deluxe free breakfast is excellent with a ton of great options. The rooms were fine and the hotel itself is nice. Right across from a horse racetrack/casino/restaurant. Cons: No pool, walls are thin. If your neighbors aren't loud then you'll be fine. Location: not close to any kind of mall/night life except for the big racetrack. (However, great if the NY Giants are playing at home).

A convenient and reasonably priced alternative for people visiting the New York metropolitan area. Breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Who could ask for anything more? Enjoy!

The pictures posted don't do the rooms justice. I got a newly renovated room that I can truly say has been one of the bests I've been to so far. I do hotels almost every weekend so I pretty aware of the competition. Price is amazing as it was memorial day weekend, tried to enxtend our stay to how much we loved it but it was booked out ☹. Would highly recommend.

My friends and I stayed here for 3 nights. The beds were comfortable, the restrooms were tidy, and the staff was wonderful. Everyone was very accommodating and willing to help make the guest as comfortable as possible. Sergio and Frank seem to wear many hats, one of which was as a driver. They were always friendly. The breakfast was good too.

Great hotel totally reccomend it! Everything was great, we felt as if we were at home away from home. Staff was great! we would leave to go hang out in NYC and we would return to a clean room able to relax. None of our person stuff was touched which we appreciate very much! Definitely will continue booking with Hampton inn/ Hilton hotels.

One of the newly renovated rooms on the third floor. It was clean and modern. Nice TV and climate control.

The rooms are roomy enough and the water and bathrooms are nice. The breakfast food is good, but definitely to for improvement and there could be more cereal options.

Very nice for a family with children. Very accessible by major roads and Pat Transit.

Once I checked in it was a great experience. Buut… it was my wedding and I was on the phone with these folks all week telling them there may be early check ins. They literally told me to call and it would be cool. My best man shows up at 1 his room isn't ready for over an hour. The next day I had the photographer come at 1030 and my room still wasn't ready for early check in and I was the groom. Long story short don't do early check in and you'll be fine.

This place is just the best. Clean. Constant renovations keep it zippy. Very friendly staff all of them. The only place to stay for NJ and NYC visits. Bus accross the street straight to Port Authority bus terminal in nyc.

So I will start off by saying the hotel is definitely due for an update but they are in the process of doing this. Besides a bit of dated furniture, everything was very clean. Breakfast was great! Above all I have to say great things about the staff. Every single staff member my husband and I came in contact with was polite, helpful, and had a great attitude. We checked in late and the gentleman was very pleasant. We had an issue with our TV. The same guy came up in minutes and tried to fix it but was unsuccessful. He traded our TV out for a working one quick. Then the next night we missed our bus stop and they dropped us at the next stop. The hotel sent out the shuttle quickly to rescue us and it was during pretty heavy snow. So overall our stay was fantastic. We will stay again and I can't wait to see the updated look.

The place treated me exceptionally well, even upgrading me to a suite. I wish my wife could have been with me! Thank you for comfortable stay.

We stayed here while we went for a visit to New York City. It was a good location to stay for something like this. There is a bus stop across the street from the hotel that goes into NYC. We were able to leave our vehicle at the hotel and take the bus into NYC. The hotel was undergoing construction during our stay so the parking lot was smaller than normal. The rooms were nice and the breakfast was too. I'd stay here again.

Great location, very nice people. Right next to the stadium. You can take transit into NY. The breakfast was good. My only complaint would be the mattress was dated — very springy.

Stayed here for one night for event in the area. Room was clean and worked well for our family. Breakfast was good and had a nice selection. Getting there was a little complicated initially.

Good location if you want to go to Ny. Bus stop just Opposite. Goes nonstop to n Y and that for a few bucks.

Clean facility. Friendly staff. Undergoing renovations right now, but luckily we weren't disturbed by it during our stay. The complimentary hot breakfast was delicious! Except for the French toast sticks. Those were stale. I was surprised that the eggs and donuts were so delicious! I'm not used to those scrambled eggs at Hampton Inn to be so tasty. I wonder if the donuts came from a local shop?

Kind of in weird spot, but crazy close to the stadium. Getting back and forth on the shuttles was much easier than I expected. The hotel is going through a complete renovation. There's a few local places nearby that are fabulous.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days. This hotel is in a very convenient location. Bus stop is right opposite to the hotel and this hotel is just 1 stop away from new york times square. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. This hotel has free van service to near by shopping places, metlife stadium. Break fast options were good. They have coffee and snacks available through out the day. An overall great experience.

A little pricey for the quality of the rooms. Other hotels in the area for the price would be nicer. Construction going on during the stay made it a pain in the ass to park.

Nice clean rooms. Wonderful breakfast. Very accommodating. Get to breakfast early as lines can take up your time with people waiting to make waffles.

Stayed in a non smoking suite. When I arrived the room reeked of cigarettes so I had to wait for someone to come spray the room. After venting the room out for an hour I decided to fire up the jetted tub (the entire reason I picked the suite). Come to find out it doesn't work, so nothing yet has gone right with this stay. Finally I just give up and go to bed, only to discover the world's most uncomfortable bed. Woke up this morning with some horrible back pain. At this point I've decided I'll talk to the front desk and give them some opportunity to make it right, and the girl working could not have possibly cared any less (i was very cordial considering everything). I found it ironic as she stood in front of the 100% satisfaction guaranteed or we'll make it right sign. I'm a frequent hotel user, and this experience was bad enough I had to share. I would highly recommend you start elsewhere if you can help it.

We had overnight reservations the night after we had went to Medieval Times. Great location and great services. The beds were a bit firm but we slept comfortably. The morning breakfast was great. An overall great experience!

Booked it on hotwire, and the room they gave us reeked of cigarette smoke. When I asked for a different room their response was that it was the last room in the hotel and that they were fully booked. Granted I checked in late at night, and didn't specify non smoking when I booked it. But I haven't had to specify non smoking for any hotel room in the last 5 years! I remember it used to be a problem, but I thought they all switched over in the last 5 years. Everything else was great. Great shower. Good quality cable channels.

This is a very nice hotel with very nice rooms and service. They offer hot breakfast every morning, which is really good, and amazing room service.

Was a quick night. Stayed in a room, slept, got up. Front desk was helpful with ab accidental double internet (premium) charge.

Good. The bus of the NJ Transit is very slow and out of the schedule.

The rooms were average with what you would think to find in a hotel of this level. It lost a star though through its breakfast. I never had such fake unatural feeling eggs before. It has free coffee, but the lids fit on so tight that you are afraid that you will crush the cup from pressing so hard. On the other hand if you bring your own cup, like a travel mug, this shouldn't affect you and it is good coffee. Staff was friendly and helpful.

My husband and I had a wonderful service experience at the Hampton Inn Carlstadt. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was AMAZING! It was clean and cozy. The bathroom was very clean. There was nothing out of order. Ana checked us in and she was very professional and friendly. Thee complimentary breakfast was EVERYTHING! My only concern was with housekeeping. They just opened up our door without knocking. It would be helpful if they knocked and let you know it was housekeeping. Luckily we had the lock on the door so that it kept them out. Also, we did not have a Do Not Disturb sign on our door, Other then that, we were very impressed with our service and will definitely stay there again.

I stayed here last night. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was nice. If you stay here, don't plan on sleeping in as housekeeping was vacuuming the hallway outside our room at 9:00 a. M.! Was not happy about that at all!

Ideal for visiting New York, although it is far from LaGuardia Airport is super recommended because that is very close to the Centre tourist. Excellent service and very tidy. The bus stop is in front of the Hotel and is very practical.

Staff was friendly and very accommodating to my needs, Thank you to Joe P who gave me a complimentary upgrade of my room and Juan who gave me milk in the late evenings at no charge, so I could take my medicine. I loved the privacy. Hotel was cozy and peaceful, room was Clean and location was phenomenal, could hop right back on Turnpike to get back home, this was my second stay at hotel, usually stay in Secaucas, but nope, this will be my first choice when I visit Jersey again. Thanks for everything.

Highly unrecommended! I would give NO stars! These people are thieves, they charged my credit card twice for a room I already paid for! I had such a horrible experience here! I stayed at this hotel the night before and after my wedding. I had a wedding block, and chose this hotel because of the spacious suite they had and it was close enough to my church with a decent price. If I knew the headache I had to deal with during this process I would have ran far away from this hotel. The sales director Melody does not know how to return messages or phone calls, she is extremely unprofessional and rude. She had no interest at all in her job. I would spell names out letter by letter in perfect English and the names were still misspelled and nothing like what I said. I lost track of the amount of times I called, left messages and emailed her with no response. The room assignments were done improperly and people ended up not having rooms. There was absolutely NO reason that there would not be any rooms in the whole hotel after I blocked enough rooms 9 months in advance! They blamed me the night before my wedding for canceling rooms of which I had nothing to do with and of course did not do! Such an awful experience to have to deal with for my wedding. As for the hotel itself, it is small, the complimentary breakfast is sad, with barely any choices. Extremely horrible service. Stay far away! It's not worth it!
