Nice place well located not too far from downtown. Great ratio quality vs price.

Rooms need updating and no restaurants nearby.

Was amazed how clean and big the rooms are, I just found my new favorite place to stay.

Horribly RUDE Staff and Extremely Disrespectful. Called the room for a noise complaint with 3 people in a Jacuzzi Suite laughing? Then sent up Security (off-site who had to travel there) arrived not 10 minutes later said more complaints came in, even more disrespectful and would not explain the noise issue, just said "there was a complaint". No threshold explained and threatened police? Security said I could check out and get a refund, I packed and left the room, went to front desk for refund and was denied. Then the front desk began to call me a liar, argue, and raise voices to me when I was politely asking questions? DO NOT STAY HERE FOR COMFORT AND POLITE STAFF, NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY.

Enjoyed our stay! Room was very clean and quiet. Staff were especially friendly. Close to downtown. Highly recommend.

Great roomy suites in a convenient location to Burlington sites. Friendly accommodating staff had no problem providing us with an extra bed. Decent amount of accessibility for someone in a wheelchair. Great free breakfast!

Very clean room and bathroom. Outdoor balcony was awesome for chilling in the evenings. Having a fridge in the room was great and the breakfast/afternoon snacks were great. All staff we encountered were very kind and helpful. Would totally stay again!

I can’t actually comment on this hotel. I booked a room here. They quickly called me back to say that the room I booked online was the final room that night and that the room had been double booked. They were helpful and booked me at a different hotel a few minutes away. I appreciated that they made sure I was taken care of.

Our room was clean and comfortable, however it wasn't the room size that we booked. It was smaller and not a suite sized. We were in a hurry to get to a wedding so we didn't have a chance to talk to the front desk until we got back. They were sold out of rooms at that point but the did compensate us financially for the mix up. Professional staff, clean rooms, great location.

Some friends and I have been coming here once a year for quite a long time on the weekend of the marathon and this hotel and its staff have always been up to the task. Five stars!

Rooms are very clean and set up very nice. Perfect for extended stay. Breakfast has a good variety of choices. Staff was very pleasant. Very enjoyable stay would stay again!

We love going to our Smart Suites! Staff if very accommodating and friendly. It's our home away from home! After a tiring day shopping, it feels great to go back and to be greeted by a friendly face! Coffee is always ready and they have a great section where you can unwind and enjoy company!

Staff were great. Continental breakfast was better than most hotels. Room was big for price.

Large rooms equipped with all the basic necessities + a large fridge. Stuff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Coffee and some food are offered free of charge in a small but clean and well organized environment. Lots of parking place and as a bonus you get to use an indoor swimming pool.

This place is very basic, but it's clean and inexpensive, and quite large. Highly suitable for traveling as a family.

Good hotel, great value. I stayed here as part of an event that was going on at UVM. The breakfast is adequate, and the rooms are a good size.

Wi-Fi was okay. Beds were super comfortable and the breakfast had some good waffles.

Pleasantly surprised by the grandeur of the room!

Stayed in a king bed suite for over $120 a night. Not a good stay. We would have left the night we arrived if it wasn't already late. Got there and realized our suite was in the basement. We walked down there and were greeted by a pungent, chemical smell in the hallway. The smell got worse when we entered out room. The room was definitely dated. The carpet was bring green, worn, and frayed at places. The furnishing was all very dated. The bed spread was tropical forest themed from the 80s. The box spring was uncovered and exposed. I checked the sheets and there were holes in them. I had to request new ones and put them on the bed. The comforter was stained with something red. There was dust all over the headboard and side tables. The saving grace was that when I checked for bed bugs I didn't see any obvious signs of them. The bathroom was relatively clean, but dated as well. The sink area had crumbs scattered around it and there were signs of smoke on the wall paper. My guess is that the room was previously a smoked room. Both my girlfriend and I woke up sniffling from having our allergies bothered by staying there. One good thing to say was that the staff was friendly and accommodating. I can't say that saved our stay however. We packed up the next day and finished our stay at the Holiday Inn next door for cheaper. I don't recommend this place.

Their service is excellent, but every time I need to get itemized receipts they don't know what to do. This is very important because I come up regularly for business trips. Please train your front desk staff how to do this.

Rooms are spacious and very clean. The complimentary breakfast and lite dinner was amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Great three day weekend and me and my partner would like to thank the staff for an amazing stay. This hotel is also pet friendly.

Nice place. Clean and pretty comfortable. The employees are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is where it's at. Every day we ate great! Good coffee, juice, etc. Would stay here again. Only complaint that makes it lose a star is the vent in the toilet doesn't work and there's some weird chick with a baby outside every night acting like a freak.

The check-in was fast and easy. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was above average but could had a few gluten free items. Clean rooms.

Comfortable suite, clean and quiet. Modern widescreen TV and free Wi-Fi. Morning breakfast has good options and they even give you free bottled water. You can't go wrong here!

Great space for extended stay. Individual unit was clean and perfect for our cat. The only complaint I have is of the smell of the hallways and elevator. It stank of smoke and wet dog. Perhaps this is the trade-off of a pet friendly facility. The breakfast was quite extensive with options and I would say fantastic.

I stayed at Smart Suites for the Vermont City Marathon. My first challenge was a change in the reservation, which they could not initially accommodate. Maggie helped me out by monitoring cancellations, and she was able to make the change. Much appreciated. When we arrived, there was a very minor issue with the room, which Elizabeth helped to resolve. Throughout she was cheerful and very helpful. Also, since the marathon began earlier than breakfast was normally served, I was happy to hear that coffee would be available. At 5:30 AM on the morning of the race, I discovered not only coffee, but a wide assortment of cereal, fruit and pastries. For the entirety of my stay, everyone was friendly and helpful. Finally, the room was clean and fully met my expectations for this level of lodgings.

Love this place, people are amazing and staff are the best… anything you need they do their best to provide or direct you where you need to go :) will always come back.

Spacious accommodations and recently renovated. A great deal of bang for your buck. Continental breakfast and pet friendly. Close to make getting to the center of Burlington easy. Also, right around the corner from the Magic Hat brewery.

Manager is very nice I live on the road places like this are hard to find. I drove 30 hrs to get here and Holly took care of room and got me right in and unlike alot of Americans today I really appreciate her accommodations thank you Holly Mcknight.

We stayed here two years ago and were happy to see that it was still a great and affordable place to stay. For 100 bucks a night we got a king size bed, kitchenette and fold out couch. We parked two cars for free, enjoyed fantastic complementary breakfasts including hot portions, with amazing new England coffee free with to-go cups all day and night. We brought our dog for a small fee and everyone was so nice. We will stay here again on our next trip to Burlington.

I've been traveling on the road for 25 years this smart suites is exceptional the rooms are clean the staff is great the continental breakfast is good if there were more of these across the country we wouldn't have to worry about where to stay. Great place and a great value for those who stay more than 30 days.

What continental breakfast? All I ever saw was a New England Coffee container. The place is a bit old in the tooth with some scary characters running around. My room was adjacent to a bunch of noisy, argumentative Mexicans. I was wondering if it was a drug cartel fighting it out in the hallway with loud music blaring from their rooms. Screaming kids roaming the hallway and equally low life parents. I guess I don't get the good reviews on this place. Maybe the human race is just going to hell in a hand basket and no one minds rude, noisy people acting like welfare trash. Pay more and find a better place… I did!

The extended stay suites are disappointing. There is a lady living across the laundry room with some number of cats stinking up the entire first floor whom I would think most places would evict. The amount of air freshener they use in the elevator to cover up god knows what has got to be worse than the original offending odor. One of the washing machines has been broken since I moved in but they leave it in service so that it can get your clothes soaked but not clean and take your dollar. They lock the downstairs public bathroom. They have a public coffee carafe which looks very inviting in the main lobby, but it was only filled on the day I moved in. What else can I say? The room itself is actually decent, better if you can get a room looking out the front rather than at a wall of trees. Just over two months to go for this travel nurse and I'm finding my own housing. The hotel areas are very well kept, and the staff are extremely nice.

A pleasant, surprisingly nice hotel at an affordable price. As a contractor who has stayed at hotels all over the Northeast, I place this one among the better ones I have stayed in.

Great hotel for the price, clean. Had a bedroom with living room and kitchen. The kitchen was great to cook stuff in with a full fridge/freezer. The staff was friendly.

Second stay here accept my service dog no problem. My room is clean staff is awesome Great for the price and location.

Dirty over priced they put us in the basement with mold it smelt horrible and was the worst place I have ever stayed and I travel alot.

Staying here was a strange but awesome experience. The place seemed from the website like it was just a generic extended-stay sort of place but it was so much more. I loved how it felt almost like a b&b with the service and decor. They even baked their own muffins every morning.

I lived at the Smart Suites for three months while doing a nursing contract at the hospital, and it was a great place to stay. They're dog friendly, which is nice. The kitchen is small but adequate, had a full-sized refridgerator. The room was spacious for a hotel room and had a separate bedroom from the rest of the living area. The hotel staff was awesome. They were so accomodating and very nice. I loved the continental breakfast every morning. They have a laundry area which is nice. No need to go to the laundromat. The workout area shares the space of the laundry area, and the equiptment is very old. My boyfriend used it though and said that it was better than nothing. The hotel itself does not have a pool, but I was told that we could have gone to the Holiday Inn (across the parking lot) to use their pool if we had wanted to. The hotel is a few miles from downtown Burlington, and traffic in town can be a nightmare at times. But, it's close to the freeway so you can pretty much get to wherever you need to go pretty easily. I liked staying here, would do it again in a heartbeat.
