Two-star hotel. That's the first thing you should know. Our experience was ok. Could be better. Room service was horrible. (I blame the employee, not the hotel). Sheets clean but stained. We book a room with a kitchen. No wine glasses. The plates and glasses were unmatched. Breakfast the same for 6 days. Front desk not too nice. Smile more guys! You are in the hotel business. Overall, I would book with them again only if the deal is good, but they can do better.

The full kitchen in the room was incredible. Comfortable bed and two pull out sofas. Services the Burlington area well.

Not as high end as imagined. Breakfast ok. But ran out of things and had to wait. Staff very friendly. Pool great. Nightly prices too high for the accommodations. Very thin walls… could hear street noise all night. Probably will not book again. Not worth the money.

Nice hotel just got here but very pleased so far been here a week and am very pleased with everything. I have a nice room and the staff is great will be here for about 2 months and don't see any problems with my stay.

Everything is old and worn. The attendant at the reception was nice but with the shirt very dirty and unstitched… it's really not inviting. The room was clean but really, it's time to renovate the friends! Acoustics. Lunch to avoid. Unless you like the Industurielo-chemical style zero vitamin. In short, to visit in case of emergency only.

This hotel is okay to stay. It is not very upscale but would do the job if you are trying to save money. The front desk staff was very unfriendly. I guess, you get what you pay for. The carpets in the hallways were very dirty but the room was okay. It is just a typical cheap hotel. However the price difference between this hotel and other nicer ones wasn't that much. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The service was very good and the attention too.

Filthy room — — tons of potential! Came here with my family. Kids are 3 and 6. Plenty of space in the King Suite and pool was okay. Location is great. Bed appeared clean and was comfortable. However, by far the most dirty room I have ever stayed in. I have traveled all over the US and this room simply lacked TLC and attention to detail. Here is what I found: Dirt everywhere: walls, floors windows, handles, bathtub, closets Black inside AC Refrigerator had old potatoes from prior guest Couch had crusty food all over it Floors were filthy I inspected for bedbugs and ants given the lack of cleaning and found NONE but did notice 'Pest control' boxes under bathroom sink and kitchen sink. The hallways smelled of marijuana most of the weekend particularly by the un-numbered door in the hallway by rm 312. Hallways were very dirty — — food and dirt everywhere Smoking is supposed to only happen in guest cars and entry way outside doors were covered in cigarette butts Amanda was very kind and allowed us to check in early upon arrival. She was sweet for our entire stay, however could use some training in asking how everything is as she saw us a number of times but never inquired. Breakfast was typical. We won't stay again because of the filth but this place has the potential to be an awesome family location.

We got there the bathroom door and walls were dirty with some kind of drink or whatever behind the garbages in room walls were dirty. The bathroom door was broke wouldnt stay shut or lock. The lamp in the room was broke shorting out. The pool was literally falling apart with paint chips and rust floating in the water. Went swimming with kids me and my daughter got very sick after swimming. There were no towels in pool area. I tried using phone and could not even call out. There were banging and yelling in hall way all night. And breakfast should be free for what we paid and what they had was rediculouse little shot glasses for juice and just cereal and plain donuts absolutely rediculouse.

The rooms were clean, the breakfast was tasty and the hotel staff was so friendly. We needed a break from our road trip and we wanted something fun for our 5 children — we saw the indoor waterside and were sold! The staff made sure the kids had a blast and we had a chance to catch our breath! Thank you for saving our sanity! Sincerely, The parents of 5 children.

Amazing… the pool was empty and we had a great time… no hot tub but the pool had to be 87 degrees.

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and very pleasant. Very nice stay an nd reasonably priced.

Stayed in a suite with a kitchenette. It was a cozy space with plenty of room. Fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and dishes and utensils. Wi-Fi and cable. Comfy beds. Great prices and availability. Superb customer service!

We have stayed here a few times. The staff (especially the nice young woman that worked the evening we went in) went above and beyond to accommodate us and helped us print out something we needed for our trip. The pool was kinda dirty and run down, but our son loved it! Room was clean, breakfast was good. We used the laundry on site which worked out well to dry our bathing suits. We will be back!

Just not worth it! We had 5 rooms for 4 days to attend a family wedding. Upon arrival, staff NON attentive and just not professional. There was kid behind counter, adult friend sitting behind counter on cell phone. Internet or Wifi not working in business center. Elsewhere, it was very very slow or not working many times! One of our rooms was not made up or given clean towels, first morning. When asked front desk why, they said, "we don't know why, " and wouldn't do anything to remedy it. Same room asked for a wake up call, they never called the room, making us late to the wedding! Breakfast food ran out and staff not checking on items, every morning guest had to keep asking for food to be brought. Bed was very firm. Pillows are small square pillows. Pool had too a high of a level of chlorine! It actually made your eyes burn just walking into the pool area! The staff even said the levels are too high! It was awful! No parking Sat. Night due to 3 enterprise trucks taking like 16 spaces… when we asked, "why they were like that", staff's response, " it is some kind of workers who are working on a project locally… our response, "ok why not ask them to move? … that a good idea! " … we had to park on the grass between hotel and a local business! Only good was decor and rooms where up to date!

Excellent room. Was in town over night for a conference the next morning. Parking garage was conveintly located. Nice amenities. Super comfortable bed. Would stay again & recommend to a friend.

Beautiful room, we were just there to sleep after the Champlain Valley Fair so we didn't see much of the hotel. Breakfast was yummy, my 2 picky kids ate a lot, always a good sign. Oddly though, the hallways were HOT. Almost sauna hot. Room was wonderfully air conditioned though so it didn't matter — just weird.

Needs some updates. I used the computer in the office. I felt like I was at a Russian internet cafe. The computer ran xp and was from 2004 when the hotel was built. They also closed off the upper patio. Would have bumped it up to a four of it was open. Rooms are nice. Staff is friendly.

Stayed here on a trip from New York and had an awesome experience. Very friendly staff, good complementary breakfast, and the rooms in the new wing added on were very roomy and comfortable. Definitely would recommend.

Everything is great until you meet the unpleasant staff. Every request was met with attitude. I complained of a light weed smell coming into my room to a the lady I complained to apologized and I assumed that that was it. Lets face it normal for a busy weekend during a car show. Until it came time for check out and to get my $300.00 cash deposit back. A lady from the front desk walked into my room to check for damages and came back saying the room stunk of weed and charged me $150.00 which was untrue. I pointed out that My children were in the room so I was outside for every cigerette just like I do at home and to avoid the automatic $300 fine. The lady said that's the sad part is your kids were in there. The time before that these people charged me $20 for a yellow stain on a cheap pool towel which was probably there before. If they think they can get away with robbing u they will.

The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We've had to ask for a bunch of extra shampoo and towels and things and they never gave us a hard time at all. The rooms are nice and clean and the facilities (gym, pool, etc. ) are all nice and clean. Breakfast was decent and free with plenty of quick options so nothing really to complain about there. Overall good experience.

Just needs some touch up. The veranda is a cool idea but it was disgustingly loaded with spider webs and it just looked tacky. It could be done better. I have nothing bad to say about the rooms. Even the pullout couch was very comfortable. Great stay overall.

Reasonably clean, but that's about it. Was there for Vermont City Marathon and the hotel refused to provide a late checkout. I mean not like they were full (Sunday to Monday is generally the lowest occupancy for hotels). Palmer House in Chicago was happy to do it, but it seemed Baymont was too fine for it. They ran out of water at breakfast. Speaking of which, breakfast was edible but not much above that. Added a $1.50 "safe and insurance" charge I did not book nor ask for, probably hoping everyone ignores it. Little stuff, but it ads up. Stay away if you can. Room was nice and reasonably clean for the class of hotel.

We stayed here to attend the Champlain Fair on Labour Day weekend. I liked the affordable rate for a busy weekend. I liked having breakfast in our own kitchen area. It beats the free breakfasts at hotels where you have to jockey for a place to sit down and is full of very young kids. The hallway was overheated and did have a weird smell, but the room was fine. The bathroom was not fancy but had been redone and the exhaust worked well, which is rare even for more expensive hotels I've stayed in recently. The bed was not a pillow-top, but clean. The bedroom was in its own room. I enjoyed the amount of space we got. My daughter liked the slide at the indoor pool.

My family has been coming here for years when it was Handy Suites and have just loved it here. Although we are here staying for a few days and are very disappointed with the place. There are 3 of us in this room and only a loveseat in the living room to sit in. There was always another comfortable chair here before. We also bring some of our meals to prepare here and there was absolutely no pots, pans or utensils here. I have to say upon calling the front desk they did bring us a chair and pots and pans. There used to be paper towels in the kitchen as well as salt and pepper and that is no more. I took a shower and discovered there was no longer a hair dryer. Later on we went to make up the sleep sofa for my son and there was no bedding. Again I called the front desk and they brought some up. Very, very disappointed. Needless to say we won't be back.

Decent lodging. Close proximity to everything of interest. No complaints.

The price is great, the room is awesome! The room has two TVs, a full sized fridge/freezer combo, and full sized oven with stove.

Nice big room. Super clean. Breakfast wasn't amazing but for the price I would highly recommend it.

We really liked our room… once we got a clean one. We booked a suite with a kitchenette. The first room we we assigned had not been cleaned after the precious guest left. The front clerk immediately gave us a new room exactly the same which was great. The second room had been cleaned EXCEPT for the fridge which still was half full with the previous guests leftovers. The front desk clerk was great and cleaned the fridge out right away. I'd also note that the rooms do not have blackout/regular curtains that cover the whole wondow. There are curtains that ccove the sides but the center is only covered by a sheer privacy curtain. Overall we like the room as it is very spacious and has ample lighting. The front desk provided great customer service by immediately resolving our problems, but it's unacceptable that we had those particular problems in the first place. Would we stay in a Baymont Inns and Suites again? Probably it was a good value for the price we paid.

Our stay there was ok! There bad before the good… We went during the leaf peepers wk for a wedding. The pool was broken for the first 2 days of our stay. And when it got back up and running the water was very murky and the kids were disappointed that they couldn't go down the water slide because you have to be at least 60 lbs. And it turned my hair green with whatever extra blue dye that they put in. The breakfast area was so small and in a corner that there was always a line to get anything… even a spoon for just your cereal. They need to expand their breakfast area. And now the good… Our actually room was great. King sized bed with a pull out sofa bed. A. C. Was really cold. And we had a full kitchen with a dishwasher.

The rooms are great. I had a light out in the bathroom and the ceiling fan is wobbly (making a weird noise). The kitchens are large fridge is nice. The pool and water slide is a nice addition. Would stay here again.

The place is amazing. The room is like a small apartment, with a full kitchen and separate bedroom. So far everyone has been pleasant, everything has been clean and good quality, there are dishes and some cookware available. Wasn't too expensive considering all that you get. To sum it up, it's a very nice place to stay.

Amazing value without compromising quality. I was quite pleased w8th the location and accomadations for the cost. Clean and cozy.

The room we stayed in was part of the newer addition to the hotel and was very nice and had modern décor. The staff was very nice, but the morning continental breakfast did not have much. There were standard staples such as cereal, bagels, muffins, yogurt. The only hot selection was waffles.

Enjoyed our stay coming into Burlington & then again when leaving — total stay was 5 days. Staff was very nice & friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious. The only downfall was the breakfast — not much offered. They did make coffee for me when I was leaving at 5 a. M. — will be back!

Wanted to stay local wth my family to have access to area events and their pool. I would never ever stay here again. Room was outdated, toilet dirty when we entered, couch sagged when sitting while watching TV with no support which when pulled out into a bed was horrible and went through it. Asked staff for pool towels, they were all out and asked if we could have a few regular towels and said they didn't have any. Was treated like it was my fault they didn't have towels and she said that she didn't know how to use washing machine. She came out with a bath mat towel for 5 of us to use. Pool water was cloudy and couldn't see the bottom. Found pieces of the pool liner floating in the pool. Woke up with kids to have "hot" breakfast and the circuit that had the waffle iron/juice machine/toaster kept shorting so no waffles. There were only 3 bagels left and asked if there were more and was told no. This was at about 7am. Cereal was another choice but who wants that when you are promised a hot breakfast but there isn't even enough of that to feed everyone and the toaster kept popping off. Door to room didn't work half the time with key card. I was offered 20%off my next stay (which I will never be back to stay) and was told I will be contacted by a manager on Monday 3/1 or first thing Tuesday morning 3/2. I never received a call.

I stopped in to see their pool. Staff was nice.

We had booked the queen bed for around $65 on Expedia and we were given this massive apartment with a separate bedroom, living room, kitchen area, and bathroom. It was gigantic and clean. There are kitchen facilities (oven, stove, fridge, microwave, freezer, etc. ). There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms, but they will give you an ethernet cable to allow you to access internet in your room. This hotel is an excellent option for extended stayers (i. E. A week of skiing). The only complaint is that the walls are a bit thin and lots of noise came into the room during the day, though it was mostly quiet at night. It has all you need. We would definitely come back.

I have a friend staying there. Nice enough for the money, and they're doing a lot of renovation.

Very large apartments with kitchen, living room and bedroom. Everything as far as completely clean. Convenient: rather than air conditioning, there are fans (room 105). Very clean room.  
The Wi-Fi was stable, but could have been made stronger by the signal.  
Receptionist was very nice. Unfortunately, breakfast is not worth mentioning: toast, butter, jam, coffee, Donuts (which personally not my taste) and orange juice, which tasted already expired.
All in all good for the price.

Had a great experience here. Room was clean and nice. The staff was very helpful. … and hey, a 2 story water slide — awesome!
