From the outside this looks like a lovely old-world hotel, and it is, except that it hasn't been refurbished in a long time. Overall the stay here is fine. It's a bit pricey given its condition but all of Newport is expensive. Paint is flaking, there is a lot of dusty nooks and dusty drapes. Musty smells… etc. We stayed on the top floor which has a 2000s bathroom renovation with a huge spa tub, like a portable pool, and a shower/steam room. But the rest of the unit is old and dusty. The second bedroom is cramped. And dusty… Breakfast is included.
Very upscale Inn. Service was fantastic.

We loved the INN. Everyone was very helpful & friendly. Service was great The charming Italian Inn keeper was wonderful.
