Fabulous experience. We came to watch our college son play a soccer match and really wanted to bring our dog Farrah. Not only were they accommodating-they were enthusiastically accommodating — dog bed — bowls… and just a general welcoming spirit. We will stay again and we offer our pup as a symbolic hotel mascot🐾🐾

I was in a fifth floor room. There is a tiny window in the room. Room feels small due to slanted walls (it is the attic of the building). A/C unit inadequate. And room smelled and was damp. There are much better choices (new element hotel, new Hilton garden inn, residence inn, etc.

I was attending a conference anlt the Hanover Inn and it was perfect for the occasion! Rooms of various sizes worked well for the various events. The bathrooms are nice and the staff was attentive. If you're in Hanover, this is a great conference space. Of course, I doubt you'd have many options!

Very cute, quaint hotel perfectly located for Dartmouth. There are some unique touches in the rooms that definitely felt homey and nice. Perfectly located near campus and Main St.

Best Inn/Hotel in Hanover by far. Great restaurant on site called Pine, and lots of conference rooms available. Valet parking is a great perk.

The Inn has very comfortable rooms, though the view can vary. My mother's room looked out into a parking lot. However, the location can't be beat for the area. Very convenient access to the area's restaurants as well as the campus. Pine is also very tasty, though pricey. Valet service is expensive, but there aren't a lot of great options in Hanover for long term parking.

Great place to stay if you are visiting Dartmouth. Right in the center of the town near all the restaurants. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great food, spacious conference rooms, and fitness center. I happily recommend this hotel.

Check in was expedient. While doing so cookies wtth hot beverages were available to warm us after our journey. The rooms were extremely clean and spacious. Bathrobes and slippers were provided. The decor was was pleasing. The beds were wonderful! The linen was wonderful. The staff was very attentive to our needs.

Location is outstanding if you are visiting the Dartmouth campus or surrounding areas. Easy to walk and explore the main strip. Valet parking is available for a cost of $23 a night which I did not really expect in rural NH but it did make things quite convenient. Found the beds comfortable and the room clean. Stayed in a standard double queen and the room felt like a vintage dorm room done in letterman jacket chic decor. Haha; I can't think of how else to describe it. Hotel was quiet overall although one group that was quite loud was easy to hear. We stayed on a Sunday night so I don't know if that would have been more problematic on a busier evening. Staff was friendly overall with Frank being one of the standouts for friendliness and assistance. I think that for the level of quality and the price of the hotel I expected a bit more overall; I certainly wasn't disappointed and would stay there again for ease. Lobby is lovely and well-appointed but not particularly cozy. I don't find myself wanting to grab a chair and curl up and read which I find sometimes at other hotels and inns at which I have stayed. Definitely grab a cookie or two in the later afternoon; they are delightful. That was a nice treat. Overall, a lovely place to stay that clearly is a part of the atmosphere and history of Dartmouth and Hanover.

Location is marvelous — right downtown, in easy walking distance to nearby shops and restaurants as well as Dartmouth's campus. Across the street from the green, with a beautiful view of the bell tower over the Dartmouth library. The cookies in the lobby are also a fan favorite.

Charged me for an extra night even though I canceled it one month prior using their online booking. It was impossible for me to know they could not see the online change because I had verbally charged the reservation two months prior. To make matters worse the alarm in the room went off at 5:30 am because it had not been turned to off prior to our arrival. It was the one morning we could have slept in our entire vacation. I went to Dartmouth and loved my time there but I found the Hanover Inn to be very pretentious and unreasonable and not worth the money I spent.

The best hotel I ever stayed in staff great from check in to check out spot on rooms clean and well maintained.

The Hanover Inn is an awesome place to stay if you are in the area. The main lobby is inviting with a warm atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms have all the modern amenities that anyone would expect while offering a good degree of luxury for the price.

Food was amazing, service was great and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. Felt like a picturesque day; nice lunch by the fire, followed by shopping at local stores while the snow was falling.

The bartender Steven was a doll and the service from Tyler was a pleasure. Delicious food and amazing martinis.

We only stayed one night and didn’t get to sample the food, but the room was comfortable and clean, the linens were crisp and spotless, and the bed was perfect for my back.

Pine is more upscale than most restaurants in Hanover. All around good food, good atmosphere and service, but it can be a bit pricy.

The Hanover Inn offers great catering in their conference rooms. We attended a large social event in the main Banquet Hall with a bar in the Foyer. The food was superb with desserts that were rich and creamy. Highly recommended if considering a social function.

Visited the Inn for a function recently. The facility was immaculate, staff were friendly and helpful, and the event itself was wonderful. I have dined on previous occasion at Pine, the onsite restaurant, and that is amazing as well. The staff are knowledgeable regarding dietary restrictions, the food is superb, and the bar is great. Would recommend the Inn and Pine to anyone.

Beautiful place with luxurious rooms and dedicated service. I accidentally left some items behind in my room, and the staff was kind enough to ship them back to me and even check to make sure all of my items were accounted for. Ideally located within walking distance of everything you might need!

A very elegant. Comfortable and well appointed Inn if you don't mind paying the price. It is certainly a great gathering place for alumni or visiting academics. The location is also perfect with it's main entrance facing the Dartmouth Green.

Good food in the dinning room. I believe it's been recently remodeled.

This place is wonderful in the traditional sense, but a couple special things I noticed the night I stayed: Senior friendly bathrooms (many safety rails/steady shower stools). Resilient, professional staff. I witnessed an obnoxious guest with 2 wheaton terriers make a scene about the valet service losing her keys/ruining her life when they were in her purse the whole time! I was impressed that they were gracious and helped her through her abusive, little episode and then turned around and gave me a large honey crisp apple (like a $4 piece of perfect fruit) and pointed me in the right direction for the shuttle.

Incredibly clean, modern, large rooms; well-furnished.

Sit outside on a sunny afternoon, enjoying the sunset and food, some kids play around on the big green, and such a nice place for guest and local.

I recommend the drinks of Pine. It is a very relaxed atmosphere — perfect for conversations.

Hanover institution! One of my favorite places in New Hampshire and it looks great after its recent renovation. I have stayed her and attended wedding receptions here, the staff does a great job and is focused on a local feel.

Came here for drinks on a Friday evening. The bar was fairly busy but we were able to grab a seat. They had a nice cocktail selection and the service was great.

Way outside of my usual hotel price range, but we decided to spoil ourselves. Super comfy bed and it was very quiet. The rooms appear to have been remodelled quite recently. Staff was friendly. No in room fridges and ice machines are only on floors 4 and 5 — annoying when spending so much.

Great newly remodeled rooms. Restaurant Pines serve up tasty breakfast and dinner. Try the lamb.

I was in the Pine for the first time yesterday and had the house Manhattan which was terrific. The wait staff was wonderful, but I was disappointed that the restaurant was closing for a private Dartmouth event. That was always the problem before, that you couldn't count on the restaurant and terrace being open. I would be much likelier to patronize the restaurant if I could count on it operating like a regular restaurant. It seems Dartmouth should use the function rooms for functions and keep the restaurant available to the public.
