We have been here twice and like it here but this morning housekeeping came in way before check out time and woke us from a sound sleep. It was scary and Not ok. Might have to look somewhere else next time. This also happened at the Chatham Bars Inn which is the most expensive place on cape. Housekeeping needs to seriously chill.

Immaculately clean, friendly staff, this was our first time staying here, I booked last minute for a same night stay was given an excellent rate booking direct at the desk. Kid friendly game room, pool area was immaculate, breakfast was fresh and great, a cute little bay view beach area in the back with fire pit and some outdoor seating. Will definitely book here again.

Just had a great weekend away with some girlfriends and I had a blast. Moby Dick's Pub inside the hotel was fantastic. Try the coconut margarita! The fire pit was fantastic. Great way to make new friends. TY Bayside for a memorable weekend.

Great hotel. Here with my son enjoying the Cape. Great price. Easy check in and room is close to car, pool and arcade room. Room is clean and beds are super comfy coming from someone with a broken back and neck. I could hear others hotel doors open and close and talking in hallways that kept me awake that is my only complaint. Continental breakfast was good bagels, English, pancakes waffle. Yogurt cereals fruit, hard boiled eggs. Juice coffee teas and more.

My wife and I had a very relaxing weekend. Enjoyed the sauna and the pool. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend.

Beautiful setting with the fire pit area and the peaceful quiet area to enjoy God’s beautiful creation! Carol at the front desk was very helpful and friendly and appreciate that type of service.

Very rude management, toilet was slow flushing and tub backing up. No hot breakfast. Only waffles and pancakes. Long walk to breakfast for elderly. When management was addressed on fact we were to have an upstairs room due to noise and other issues she yelled at us saying you were offered another room. How many rooms can you move to before issues are fixed. The front desk manager said there was a plumbing issue. The manager then said she would not know that and no way she said that. Pretty much calling me and my father liars. She then slammed the door when I said I would be writing a review. It is a very old building and the noise will never be addressed due to that. Also mike the front desk person told us after management slammed the door. If you don’t like it get another room somewhere else. After I just witnessed him telling a customer off on the phone. Very unprofessional people and I truly believe they don’t care at all. They get your money and then pretty much say too bad. Many other hotels to pick from in area.

Very nice staff, willing to go an extra mile for the guests! Greatly appreciated. Nice surrounding, with a pool and a fireplace outside. Good location for day trips in the area. I give 4 stars because of the food. As Europeans we found ourselves buying food for breakfast at the local supermarket, since we were not used to waffles, doughnuts and muffins for breakfast… and that's all you will find (with an exception of a boiled egg and some apples and bananas). It might just be the cultural difference here, since the locals seemed to be just fine with this kind of breakfast. No restaurant on the premises.

My reservation was mixed up! Idk how but it was booked a week in advance. RESERVATION doesn't mean "first come first serve. " The following was what was explained to me… "if your room is available and someone checks in earlier. Then its given to the earlier check in!? " How? Check in is at 3pm. I was there at 315pm!? Then… Whats the purpose of a reservation? It resulted in me NOT getting the room I reserved! *not a happy customer * Besides that. The stay was f…ine. The rooms are small and can use some updating. Thanks to Carol for going the extra mile in trying to resolve the mix up.

Bayside Resort is my favorite place to stay when down the Cape. I have been to several other area hotels and this one is the best. Always clean, great location. Has an indoor/outdoor pool and a very nice hot tub that is always clean. Staff is very accommodating and courteous. Beds are comfortable and showers work great. Price is slightly higher than some other area hotels but it's totally worth it.

Just stayed for a weekend with the wife and we were very pleased. The indoor and outdoor pool was very nice and clean. The continental breakfast had a decent selection as well. Our room had a jetted tub, which is worth every penny. The bathroom in our room was huge! The pool towels were super soft too. We would most definitely plan another stay! Thank you.

Great stay and affordable. Fire pit was beautiful kinda limited to a few people but enjoyable if you got a seat. Pools an jacuzzi were a plus staff very pleasant. Only bad thing is for some reason when showering the water builds in the back of the tub must be on a tilt or something but it doesn’t even drain over nights just stays there until it evaporates I guess. Just a little dirty for my taste other than that it was a great resort.

The staff at the front desk are amazing. As a matter of fact all of the staff are amazing! I really enjoyed the pool, the fire pit, the game room, the breakfast atmosphere and how easy it was to get any service if we needed it. We sat around the fire with a bunch of strangers and ended up getting some email addresses to stay in touch. It's a great setting with great amenities. I wish we could have stayed our whole vacation here. As a matter of fact next time that might be the idea. Special thanks to Mike at the front desk who showed us Maps and gave suggestions for places we might want to visit since we are from Salem. Salem, Oregon.

We love this place! Outdoor pool and bar, indoor pool, beautiful patio, fire pit, beach area, hot tub, pub, game room! Mike the pool bartender makes the best strawberry daiquiris!

Decent place. Close to everything you would want to go to. Rooms are modern and tasteful. Complete with bar and indoor/outdoor pools and a fire pit outside. Breakfast is lackluster.

The hotel is very good, housekeeper particularly one I think Maria was very attentive! It had everything to be a great stay if it was not a terrible experience. It happened on our second night of Memorial Day! My car and my sister's were opened, they stole sun glasses, jackets including 24 pack of Boyle’s of water we had in the car. We did not inform the front desk because we already knew how it works! they could not do anything about it. Front desk staff was not that friendly either! We do not yet understand how this happened! But taken out this situation everything was Great! Just don’t park your car all the way on the back next to the pool!

It was good place to stay. Staff was nice. Wish they kept fire pit in past 11pm. Not walking distance from beach. But has nice pool and sauna. Bed was little hard but confy.

The location is within the reach of any restuarant, supermarket and beach, short drive. The facility including room is old but OK. Unfortunately, the pillow in my room didn't smell fresh. The Google location is wrong and need to call the hotel for clarification.

Had that old turn of the century look with just enough of what you need in this day. Really saved our butts was there in Feb 2018 and had been freezing to death for the last week. Room wasn't totally ready when we got there. It was a booking sight processing deal not the hotel. So we all for a restroom which was on the same floor. Walked into the pool area and it's was like I was back home in Florida. Humidity and everything. Almost wanted to sleep in that pool area. Piece of advice though. If you can try to get a room away from that first floor. Kids are kids but there was a small footed nation that went down there at one point and dang they were loud. They've also got a nice sitting area in the back that'll let you sit and enjoy the tide. It's one of those little coves of of the main bit of the cape.

Nice, clean, spacious room. Check-in was easy with a friendly face at the front desk. The grounds we're emaculate. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

We came during President's weekend, to be expected, there were 100's of kids. Due to this we got door knock ditched, heard kids running through the halls and were only able to do the pool during adult hours. I don't blame the hotel for this but the parents. Breakfast was great for a continental, beds were comfortable. Reason for the 4 stars is the walls are paper thin. I know that's a hard thing to fix but it truly effected our stay.

Enjoyed my two night stay here, breakfast included and the pool was nice, from four feet to 8 feet. Hotel room was clean which was a plus. Not much to do during the winter maybe next I'll visit in the summer, I enjoyed the fact there wasn't much people though.

The bay in the rear of the resort is quite a view and must be really nice during Summer months, we visited in Winter but plan on returning to experience. The resort has a nice small arcade for some entertainment and parking is ample, and there is a mall, about a 10-15 min ride from the resort. There is a pool outdoors and indoors, the indoors pool is kept open all year round and closes late at night, and some rooms have jetted tubs. Overall, it was a nice experience in a quiet town.

Husband and I stayed through Groupon and did the Romantic get away package. The room was clean, but a little outdated. Bed was comfortable, but the bathroom had no fan. There was also a light bulb missing from the fixture over the table and you hear the loud pipes in the room upstairs any time someone showered or ran their Jacuzzi. Check in staff was nice and helpful. Check out staff was a little rude. When we asked for a late check out her response was "I don't know what room youre in" instead of nicely aksing our room number. And we couldn't get through the whole room number before She said "no late check outs for the Jacuzzi room" with a complete steal face and no customer service skills. It's a good a value especially for families with children.

Extremely clean with excellent amenities! Breakfast is self serve with a wide variery of options. The highlight was the pool, jacuzzi, and sauna! Exceptionally clean with a indoor tropical feel. We were here in mid January & we loved it!

We stayed in the Cathedral room which is the second floor with high ceilings. We had 2 adults and 2 children but had to pay an extra $28 for the second child which I thought was ridiculous since there are 2 queen beds and most families have 2 or more children. Rooms are average size, carpet stains, toilet seat squeaks when you sit as well as the seat back hits the counter top. Beds and pillows quite comfortable. Even had a cot for $10 and that was not bad either. Free continental breakfast consisting of: Booked eggs, waffles, bagels, muffins, pastries, toast, cereal, yogurt, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk and water. Place looks better as usual online then in person. Check in and out quick and easy. Good for children 10 and under, don't recommend for older kids. Arcade needs updating, too small as well. More tables and chairs to accommodate guest especially during New Years. Fire pit nice but too small.

The price was very good for everything they offer. Our room smelled a bit musty at first, but after turning the heat on it went away. Our room had a hair dryer, ironing board, iron and mini fridge. The indoor pool was great, and definitely helped my kids release some energy after a 9 hr. Car ride. We will definitely look into staying again.

Good hotel! I’ve been coming to this place since I was 3 years old. Staying here has been always a delight! Staff are always friendly. Great breakfasts, arcade room, indoor pool and outdoor pool. But the most beautiful thing here is the beach bay. You’ll enjoy it here!

I like this resort, one of the things I do not appreciate is having a staff member — Rema come over to you while in a vacant pool and hot tub and tell your son to get out. I said to her, no one is even in here, I take full responsibility for him, thank you. She stood her and bothered us until my son left the hot tub. I asked to speak to the manager and was told. You don't need to, the hot tub is sixteen or older, that's the rule. I asked, what';s the rule when a guest wants to speak to a manager? to be continued!

Unexpectedly end up at the Bayside Resort and couldn't have been happier with the way things worked out. Booked on Groupon and showed up 15 minutes later. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and modern, pools were very clean, very close to everything, Jon in the pub was fantastic as well as his chocolate martinis, breakfast was very nice probably the best continental breakfast I have been too, plenty of out door seating, great views… we will definitely be going back…

We loved this place and sadly only stayed 2 nights. The firepit and beach area was wonderful, the included breakfast was delicious. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We loved the dollar ladder ed pub and energy mindedness the hotel has with all its solar panels. Great place!

My stay has been just about perfect so far. Beds are comfortable, rooms are air conditioned VERY well. It seems like this Resort has something for everyone. The outdoor fire pit is a great touch and seems to have just enough seating for everyone. The arcade is an excellent touch for kids. Clean and large indoor and outdoor pools accommodate any weather conditions. My favorite portion of this resort has been the indoor pub. Although there is a very small selection of beers on tap, the Cape Cod craft beers are all enough to satisfy most any beer drinker. It is also a very cool experience to drink in a bar that has it's walls and ceiling almost entirely covered in dollar bills! I would recommend this resort to anyone, unless you are tall and end up in what seems to be a handicap room. The mount for the removable showerhead will not accommodate height and continuously slides down. Otherwise, the resort is great!

Vacation August 2017. Nice rooms. Great amenities including indoor and outdoor pools. Friendly staff. Pool bar. Cool little hotel bar. Beach area with fire pit. Good recommendations from staff for local restaurants and attractions.

This is a very nice hotel with clean rooms and good amenities. My family and I enjoyed the breakfast with included a wide variety of pastries, bagels, English muffins, fresh fruit, cereals, waffle bar, and a juice bar. Both the inside and outdoor pools were clean and well maintained. The staff was pleasant to speak with on the phone and in person. We come to the cape each summer and we'll come back here again. Enjoyed my stay here — my girlfriend and I spent a few nights in the Jacuzzi suite. The complementary bottle of champagne was nice. Indoor pool was also nice, downstairs bar was decent. They also have the outdoor pool and a nice beach area. Service was top notch and the staff was friendly. 4 stars only because the rooms were a little dated, and while they advertise having "new release movies", they are streamed from the main office one at a time for everyone at specific times in the evening. I was a little disappointed but hey, when you're on vacation, watching movies in your hotel room isn't the main attraction. Will definitely be back.

Our room smelled like sewage. When talked to the staff they said it was the marsh and they've received the complaint before. But the smell was definitely coming from the bathroom. And the smell dissipated after having the window open for hours.

Stayed two nights during February 2016 school vacation. The kids enjoyed it (6&9). They had activities scheduled throughout the day. Would go back.

What an amazing. Place me and my wife just married and decided to take a short vacation to the cape. Upon arrival spoke with the front desk gentlemen we spoke briefly about being from New Jersey and recently becoming married. After a bit of talking we were on our way we stayed in a bay front room which was absolutely beautiful big cozy room with a deck and great view. After only several minutes we received a knock on the door and it was the hotel employees delivering two wine glasses and a bottle of champagne with chocolates they gentlemen congratulated us both on being newlyweds. I gave this place a 5star rating due to the cleanliness and customer service which is a key factor when we travel. We will recommend this place to anyone who has kids or is looking for a private place to get away. There is a bar located in the hotel which is so convenient as well as a nice pool for kids and adults, also there is a fire pit that always is lit from specific times every night. Hands down one of the best places I have been. Great staff great customer service great experience.

Very pleasant stay in deluxe room. Clean with good supply of towels, nice to have refrigerator available in room. There is a microwave in breakfast room if you need to heat something up. Staff pleasant & accommodating. Take note if you have mobility issues, there are No elevators. If so, consider obtaining ground floor room. Nice to have continental breakfast available if you do not wish to leave hotel — tea, coffee, juices, cereal, fresh fruit, bagels, toast, English muffins, hard boiled eggs, danish, donuts, & make your own waffles. Would not hesitate to return.

This hotel was very disappointing. The rooms were clean but very dated and had no safe or proper wardrobes. The building itself needs to be knocked and rebuilt its so old. The outdoor facilities are much better with a nice pool area, great fire pit for S'mores in the evening and a seating area looking over the bay. I would definitely not stay there again or would not recommend it to anyone. I would rate this hotel as a 1*.

Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the Adirondack chairs on the sand with a view of the bay and the firepit. Didn't use the pools, but both indie and outdoor looked nice! Continental breakfast was a nice bonus. Overall good value for the price. Would definitely stay there again.

Just spent a 3 day girls weekend. The place was great. The rooms were clean, housekeeping was accommodating. The rest of the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Great pools and amenities. I will definitely be returning.

Beds were comfortable staff was very helpful, everything at the hotel though closes at 11 when your here for a wedding there really is nothing for after. Back area by the fire pit and marsh is very comfy and pretty.

Good location. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. The outlets on the wall need repairs. Plugged phone in to charge and the plug feel out on floor. Very loose. Did fine one plug that worked. Shower was good, water pressure was good. Bed was comfy but the pillows sucked. The ice machine was right outside our rm, which sucked. Very loud, people filling coolers at 6 am. Pool and hot tub was nice. Fire pit was always occupied by large families, so never got to enjoy it. Breakfast was decent. Kinda dreary it was located in the basement. But very over all good.

I took my wife and 8 year old son to a week vacation in cape cod lat august and we loved this place, they have an excelling breakfast buffett and an outdoor and indoor pool, the staff is very friendly and the place is reasonably priced is clean and updated. It is so close so many places for family fun such as minature golf and the cape cod inflatable park. I recommend this place to anyone coming to cape cod. Its the next best thing to renting a cottage or a house.

Very good hotel. There is and indoor pool, outdoor pool, arcade center, gym, free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and free breakfast but is only from 8:00 AM — 9:00 AM.

It's great, friendly staff, caring yet not in your face, clean. We return here with our kids every few months.

We stayed at this hotel this past weekend (4/15/2015 and 4/16/2016). The hotel is well-maintained and clean and there is no issue with the building nor the location. The issue was that this was possibly the noisiest hotel stay we have ever experienced. The room was near the pool and perhaps that was part of the issue. People were talking loudly, shouting, and even signing well past 11PM on both nights. Asked them to be quiet to no avail. Numerous children were racing up and down the halls and grabbing at our door/ trying to enter our room! My parents would have grounded me for a month had I acted like that as a child. We were forced to use all the additional pillows and blankets to attempt to barricade the door from the noise. We did not sleep well either night and at nearly $180 per night this was not the sort of experience I expected! I would suggest staying anyplace else on the cape but here. You'll find better quieter sleep at a roadside motel!

Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was quite lovely with many variety. The view was fantastic and although it wasn't in season I was excited to see they had a fire and bar every night.

They just finished recarpetting for the upcoming season. Located near several casual and upscale restaurants, and a short drive from many of the Capes beaches.

Great bed, service. We stayed in a king size, bay view room. My only real complaint is the room did not have a microwave! Not a big deal, at all. The breakfast area was close and FULL of great food. There appears to be a lot of awesome things to do at the hotel — fire pit, pools, etc… But we didn't have time. Generally, a very nice and private place to stay.

We came here on a groupon deal as well as to celebrate our wedding anniversary. First, we drove up come NYC on a friday night and didn't get here until a little past midnight. The staff were awesome and checked us in with no problems. The rooms are nothing spectacular but clean. There's free continental breakfast and a game room downstairs. The pool is great as well. There's a fire pit out back for at night and a fake beach but has sand and sits next to a swamp. But we didn't really stay at the hotel that much as we wanted to travel around cape cod.

In good repair. Basic rooms. No elevator. It was down at least one flight of stairs for the all-carb breakfast (well there were hard boiled eggs. ) We were awakened one morning with maids talking very loudly in the hall for an extended time. Another morning they were demolishing the bathroom vanity on the other side of the wall from our bed at 8:30 am. Tons of kids running the hallway in the mornings on the weekend. Twice we had to have our keys remade because they quit working. We will not be back.

Dirty whirlpool tub. Black stuff circulating through the tub. Response from manager on duty "they are hard to clean". This multi-time guest will NOT be back.

The Bayside Resort is one fantastic place. My wife and I love sitting around the fire at night. Two pools, wonderful breakfast. You will love this hotel. Tom and Lori Connecticut.

Spent a weekend there with my girl and it was a spectacular getaway with a little help from the staff. They delivered on some wine bottles and Candles (battery operated) and rose pedals for a special occasion. She loved it, I was even surprised by how elegant it was. GREAT way to go above and beyond, I would definitely recommend this place. Choose to you enjoy your time away by coming here.

I came down with 7 other golfers and things couldn’t have been better, Andrea did a super job arranging accommodations and tee times and it all went without a hitch. Rooms were very clean, which is important, and the staff was great. The breakfast was more than enough to get you going and the coffee, which isn’t always so good at these buffets, was excellent. I forgot a windbreaker in my room when I left and it just arrived today, thanks again to Andrea. To not get one complaint from 7 other people in my group is pretty rare.

This is a great family place more than anything else. My husband and I did have a lot of fun here by ourselves, but a lot of the stuff in the area is designed so that kids can enjoy it as well. We took our kids the second time, and they had a ton of fun. I think this will be a great spot for future vacations.

A great place for a winter break! Something for every age The staff are very friendly, the rooms are spacious and very clean. A very family orientated place to stay. The price is reasonable. The indoor heated pool is perfect for a winter break. (No need to bring your own towel, they supply them! ) The continental breakfast is perfect and free! They also have a game room I would say best suited for children ages 10+ and for children under 10, they offer board games at the front desk, which I took advantage of. They also offer an exercise room and a small pub which is a must visit even if you don't drink! All in All, I couldn't find anything wrong with the place and I will be returning soon.
