Harbor Hotel has beautiful views and scenic comfortable areas for relaxing.
Accommodations are excellent and all staff are responsive to any requests or questions and very helpful. Our room had a large flat screen TV, small refrigerator, and adequate drawer space. There is plenty of parking right outside our room. We are enjoying our stay!

When first arrived we thought we would regret it. Looks old and dingy… but when we got to the room overlooking pool. Pleasantly surprised… party area. Pool, bar and fire pit. Met great people. Just tons of fun to hang.

So — the hotel is cute. But it’s very different from how it’s described online. The room was pretty small. It smelled mildewy. We were trying to contact the staff repeatedly to get new towels but no one answered. When we brought up our concerns to the staff they shrugged them off. If you have kids it’s probably a great hotel because of the pool but I don’t think I would stay there again.

Ok it’s a pandemic so we understood there would be less staff. We were told when we got there that no housekeeping would take place so pick up towels fri. Desk also understandable, here’s what wasn’t: our room was not very clean, there were no pictures on the paint blotched walls, the tub filled when we took our showers, maintenance never arrived, our pool view was of a sketchy parking lot, the pool (piss and sunscreen swamp) was unattended, there was a broken bottle next to fire pits, no towels by pool, no restaurant for breakfast made to order as it said on Expedia, when we fled a day early our son discovered dirty tissues and crushed water bottles from other guests under his bed, oh and the glass sliding door had no lock just a steel rod through a makeshift hook. The town was very crowded, almost everyone wore their masks. P-town morale of waitstaff was low and it was sad. But this hotel, I would not recommend.

This is probably the worst place I have ever been to. We checked out after 1 night and regret even staying for that. Dirty place, rude staff and a lot of false advertising. I noticed all the reviews on their website are all favorable with the same review being posted several times, giving the illusion of a high score. Smoke and mirrors for sure. Several other people left early as well. The only reason for any stars is the location, NOTHING about the property is worthy of a star. They advertise breakfast, but there is none. Ruined a much needed weekend away. Never again.

Extremely Uninviting staff. The walls are extremely thin and you can hear everything from guests next door. The rooms a dark, old, and dirty. I have bites all over my legs from my stay there. Seems to be infested. After a very strange interaction with guests tail gating in the parking lot I checked out early.

The bartender was very kind in helping us find some local places to go for food and entertainment! The front desk was also very helpful. Everything was very clean and the location was right next to the beach. The food is subpar regardless of where in the hotel you buy it but that’s not a dealbreaker. Will definitely stay here again!

Really poorly run. No manager in sight the whole time we were there, staff doing what the hell they want — sitting round the fire pit drinking and smoking, telling racist jokes to each other very loudly. No towels round the pool, dirty carpets. Weed being smoked, loud music… I could go on… This could be a fabulous place if someone could get a grip of it.

We are so very disappointed! My husband and I have been faithful guests for years, including having our wedding here when it was under different ownership. We came for a one night getaway and were shocked to see the unhappy staff, the overcrowded pool, the noise level of our room and the fact that our room smells musty and old. The noise from people running up and down the stairs along with people outside is very unpleasant. The coffee station used to be a nice bonus on the weekends and now it’s all closed off. It’s just not the level of service, comfort, and happy staff we have grown to love over the years. We’ve loved coming here but unfortunately probably won’t return.

Least helpful hotel ever. Needed to cancel hotel stay 3 weeks ahead of time but they sneakily charge 50%. Even though it’s Memorial Day and they will definitely rebook. This is the worst hotel/ hotel staff I’ve ever dealt with. 1 Star!

The hotel is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy Provincetown to the fullest. Convenient, great staff and service with incredible view.

My sister and I needed a mid week, off-season getaway and I love Provincetown. We asked for queen beds which were not on the water side but easily upgraded to harbor side since two full beds were fine with us. Room was beautiful and meticulously clean. First day's breakfast was great and waiter was personable and charming. Last breakfast was not so much. The waiter appeared to also be the cook and was not happy. My sister's breakfast was thrown together and cold. Mine was ok. We're not complainers and the waiter dropped the check and took off so we voiced our concerns to the gentleman at the desk. Our breakfast was comped. I don't fault the establishment for one angry employee. Our experience was very good overall.

Had a great stay at the Harbor Hotel, the decor was really fun and the room was comfortable. The beds were comfortable as well! Loved the location in front of the water and being within walking distance to downtown (about a half hour or so walk) was a big plus.

I was in Provincetown on 8/16/18 for Carnival and had the greatest time at the Harbor Hotel Provincetown… the staff was excellent and the bartender from Maui made fabulous drinks as well was just a great person A+ to him… I loved the ancillary services like Coast Provincetown that rented bikes and these really cool electric bikes called URBE's. You can zip around town on these bikes all day and not have to pay for parking… excellent for me and my friends… would highly recommend this hotel… you will not be disappointed and they will even shuttle with a golf cart to and from places… nice addition.

We loved the renovations! The attention to detail to recreate the 50's was amazing. You feel like you're stepping back in time. The staff are friendly and the bar scene is so much fun. There's a great fire pit overlooking the bay to hang out with friends or a huge pool with a cabana bar. So many spots to mingle with guests.

A nice compromise in Provincetown. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy its quieter corner of the sea and yet not too far to go into the center when you want (shuttle $2). The rooms are subtly decorated, the staff are welcoming and helpful and the pool is nice. In short, a beautiful experience to renew.

This place is great. Super kid friendly. Upon checking in they showed my children into a kid's playroom by the front desk and let them pick out a few new toys to take with them. Matchbox cars for my boy and a new stuffed bear for my little girl. The staff are amazing with children, offering a scavenger hunt with prizes and giving generously for our entire stay. Breakfast at harbor hotel is amazing. Seriously, kids 3 and under eat the buffet for free and they ended up eating better than I did. Plenty of places to explore, delicious food, great cocktails and awesome staff. Totally worth it.

The reason I'm taking off one star is that the AC doesn't work to lower the temp to what is set. I had it set to 60 all night, but it never got below 72. This hotel gets the other 4 stars, because it is family oriented (aka loud), but great location, easy to get to town, and good value if you need more than one bed per room. Water pressure isnt great (but it's a motel, what can you expect? ). The beds are really uncomfortable (but again, you get what you pay for). In the end, the room was quite nice, and I wouldn't hesitate to return if only the AC worked.

Nice room facing bay. Big picture window. Nice furm bed. Pillows too soft. Restaurant overpriced. Ordered cheddar cheese omelette, but got pile of eggs with melted cheddar cheese on top — definitely NOT an omelette. And was $13. So didn't eat there anymore. Pool looked nice, but too cold to swim or even sit next to. Nice quiet location out of town, but be careful what you order at the restaurant.

I personally love the 60’s vibe! And the whole pool setup is amazing! The staff members are so friendly and knowledgeable about the town. I honestly have no complaints about this place. I will absolutely be returning! I can already smell the ocean. And the cocktails.

It's clean it's beautiful what a great view I had a fantastic time there my my room was fantastic they give you a breakfast and they have a restaurant and a bar.

Nice and clean rooms. Loaction is slightly far from commercial street. It does not have free breakfast though.

Decent place. Average price. On the coast, so there's a good view, and it's 10 minutes to commerical street, PT.

Lovely off season stay. The view, location, room, and service can not be beat. Great meals in the lounge. Great cup of coffee and walk to the ocean in the morning.

No dining or bar services. Plus right across the street from Oceanview! Very enjoyable❤️❤️

Only stayed here for one night and checked in after the lobby closed, but the rooms were very clean and well stocked. The view of the beach is breathtaking and it's not too far from the center. Would recommend driving to the center though.

I loved it. The rate was phenomenal… they upgraded our room at no additional cost. Thinking of staying again my next visit.

Hotel is conveniently located off the highway, but is a far walk from the main strip (about 25 min away). The shuttle bus does stop right in front of the hotel, though. Rooms are extremely basic, and the set up of the hotel is more akin to a motel. The room was fairly clean. Breakfast at the hotel was average, although the service was very good. We would not stay there again, as it would be preferable to get some place closer to the town.

Clean hotel with comfy beds. But don't let the pics online fool you… it's very much a motel and has only the basics. Location is great and parking was easy. Front desk staff was always super helpful, even late at night when ordering food for a wedding. Overall a good deal but probably would aim for something more high end next time I'm in town.

Stayed at the Harbor Hotel on Tuesday, October 10th. This place is fantastic. A great view, excellent accommodations and a staff that goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. And the breakfast was fantastic.

Do not book this overpriced hotel! There are some positives, but overall it was not worth the $200 price tag. The woman checking us in was friendly and nice, but overworked. She was working the desk alone, trying to book someone in over the phone, check me in, check that my room was clean, and ultimately it took way longer than needed. She also wasn't entirely sure about the shuttle this time of year (September). The room was big enough and had a great colour scheme. The views of the water are great — but do not expect to actually be able to open your window. The bed was really firm. The ceiling though was dotted with mold. It looked like it had been painted over, but was starting to come through again. Also the grout in the bathroom tile was black along the tub line. The bathroom itself is super tiny — you would have to get into the shower to close the bathroom door. As well the window looking outside had multiple hand prints. The pool was still open, but was really cold (not heated). The patio furniture was dingy. The fire-pit was nice, but because it was a gas fire it doesn't put out the same amount of heat as a wood fire. It was a bit too cold to stay near it for long. The worst part of the stay was the fact that they were remodeling the room below us. We listened to construction until I called to complain at 10 or 11pm, and then they were back at it by 9:00 the next morning. I know it wasn't 7, but for that price tag we were planning on sleeping in late.

Harbor hotel is a very nice place to stay. It is much nicer than it looks on the outside. It sort of looks like a nicely painted motel but it is actually a very upscale hotel right on the water. They have a nice pool and an extremely nice lounge area where you can order high quality restaurant style food. It was a little pricey $200. It is a short drive away from downtown and Provincetown is simply beautiful at night. Crowds of people walk the streets.

The staff are all wonderful, whether it be at the front desk or the bar by the pool. Rooms are clean, cozy, and bathrooms aren't too small. Being at the end of Commercial Street means it's easy to drive to and parking isn't tight either. A must-stay for anyone taking part in the annual Pride parade since the parking lot is used for staging!

The hotel is very nice and I enjoy its location but I do have to say that it's prices have gone way way too high. I've come here for years and bring my dog and enjoy the visit but I think that the owner would be smarter to give deals to individuals who repeat each year a price that is much more reasonable. It's a simple motel that's very comfortable but it is not worth more than $300 per night. The prices should be much closer to maybe 200 per night and that would be a decent reasonable price for the motel. Other than the extremely high prices that are now close to 3 to $400 at night average if you go for an entire week is way way too high.

Our room had a beautiful view of Cape Cod Bay, which is right in the other side of the street. The room was very comfortable, even though the refrigerator was a bit noisy. The hotel restaurant was convenient, when we didn't want to go out and look for something to eat and the bar area was pleasant, laid back and family friendly. There are miles of beach, but the hotel also has a large outdoor pool. The weather was too cold for me to test it. The shuttle to downtown Provincetown stops out front twice an hour and gets you into town in 15 minutes for $2 per person ($1 for 60 years or older).

The Harbor Hotel has been a wonderful experience for us so far. It's a somewhat retro designed enclave. This place is fun and covers everything you could possibly want within 100 ft. With a Grand Opening opening behind it this place shows really well with a very clean appearance. The pool is very large with an excellent bar and food component. I was also delighted to see the pool attendance kind of build up slowly in the morning and then right about at 2 pm the people come and bring a nice mix of family friendly folks that take a dip or grab a bite to eat. I just came back to my room on day 2 and the staff does the extras here. I found this place on Groupon originally but I'll def be back.

The location is great. The smell of sea water from the Bay is great. The staff us nice and can help you fix most of your problems in a timely manner. The pool is large and is built for anybody along with a restaurant in the pool area and Lobby. The breakfast that they serve in the morning is delicious and sitting by the fir pit to watch the sun set is one of the best ways to end the day.

Great location, clean rooms, across the street from the beach, great breakfast at a very reasonable price. They allow pets but charge for them, probably would be a good idea to give pet towels and bowls if you're charging.

The staff were more than helpful, they all made us feel like family. Our room was clean and decorated so cute! Housekeeping was top notch. Would recommend to everyone.

We stayed during Thanksgiving weekend. The rooms were recently renovated and are very modern / new. Really comfortable beds and pillow! Although I would have liked queen beds more. It was a bit cold so we couldn't enjoy the fireplace outside but it must be great in the summer! Pool was closed as well so can't say much. Breakfast was not included.

That's our first night here, this place exceeded our expectations! The room looks like totally new and "young style"! Clean, new, comfortable! Heat works perfectly, bathroom totally clean! Staff friendly and the Bae view is amazing! I can't wait to come back in the summer!

Small bathrooms cold concrete floors the outdoor bar was never open the indoor bar had almost no selection the fruit and cheese platter was soggy and seemed old the matress was thin and springey bathroom was dated and extremely small we reserved the room for 4 days we left after 2 we were refunded with no problem for the days we didn't stay and the view was very nice but wasn't worth the 900 bucks they wanted for it.

Our room was not very clean. Long story short I found old boogers on the wall in the bathroom from the guests before us that were not cleaned! I have a baby and didn't even want to bathe her in the tub because it looked so dirty. I'm not a picky person nor do I ever write reviews but the cleanliness was definitely lacking in our room. I can't speak for all rooms though. The view is amazing & the food at the restaurant was good.

We loved this place. We go in the off season in Sept. It's not to crowded. The view of the bay is spectacular. The breakfast bar is good, but could use a Gluten Free option of bread or muffins. The fire pits in the evening are very welcoming. We especially liked that the place was dog friendly. The pool and bar are a nice touch to the place. We also like the proximity to downtown and the walk is very short.

I'm usually picky about my overnight accommodations. Not being familiar with P-Town, I wasn't sure where to stay so a friend suggested Harbor Hotel. At first glimpse… I was nervous. But the minute I walked in to use the ladies room I was sold… it was spotless! Hotel is in a perfect location and central to everything. We rode bikes to Race point, ventured into downtown and had a fantastic dinner at Muse Restaurant. Room was clean, staff was friendly, bar drinks were great and the breakfast buffet was a total surprise. Yummy and affordable. I will definitely go back to Harbor Hotel next time I visit!

Beautiful views, outstanding staff (especially Diana and Valentina), super-comfortable beds, great dining specials and relaxing night-time fire-pit! We loved our stay there!

Do you like to sleep? If so, the Harbor Hotel is not for you. We were woken up at 1 AM by LOUD laughter, hooting and talking — a party was happening in a neighboring room. I called the front desk, and she said she would send someone, waited at least 10 minutes… Called again… I could hear that someone was actually sent over and told them to be quiet that time. They probably made an effort to quiet down for two minutes and then got rowdy. Called again, thanked the front desk for sending someone before, explained that it was still loud. She was apologetic, called the room in question (I could hear the phone ring through the door — the hall echoes and there is only a runner of carpet in the room, so sound travels VERY easily). One member of the group was sufficiently sober enough to say (SHE'S SERIOUS, GUYS! ) and they finally quieted down. It was past 2:30 AM. As we were checking out, the person at the front desk did apologize and took down my number when I asked to speak to the manager. The manager did not call. negatives: 1. There is no sound barrier at all — we could hear everything happening in the hall and by the pool. 2. No locks on the building, only on the door to the room — lax security. 3. The fire pit is by the street, not on the beach. 4. The front desk wasn't well-informed, giving us inaccurate info on parking costs in town and the beach. (Beach is $20, not $15. Town has metered lots $2.25/hr. Not just $25 daily flat rate. ) 5.

Do you like cockroaches? If you do this is the place for you. I was booked for a two night stay and when I got there I noticed how nice and clean the place looked. I went down to the pool with my family and when I came back to the room, we found a cockroach climbing on the side of the bed. I was totally horrified and called the front desk to complain. I was offered another room or another hotel, but I declined and slept on the floor of my son's cottage instead. I captured the bugger under a plastic cup and waited for the maintenance man. He came up to the room and actually picked the thing up in his fingers to show me the bug. I already saw the bug and believe me I know a cockroach when I see one. The woman at the desk said that my money would be refunded via Expedia. I'll bet I never see that money, but I will be damned if I ever sleep in a room that knowingly has cockroaches. Word to the wise if you are going to stay there. Bring a large can of roach spray.

Stay here almost every summer, the service is amazing. The proximity to the water is peaceful and its only about a 10/15 min walk to the center of town. The food is great. Continental breakfast is a nice quick grab. Clean pool. Clean rooms. This summer we booked 2 different stays, cannot wait to be back.

Wonderful place! After spending one horrific night at another motel, we inquired about the Harbor hotel, after having breakfast there. Michael Dougherty, the manager, was a lifesaver! He not only was pleasant and happy to help us, but genuinely wanted to make our stay a positive one. He offered a very fair rate and communicated to other staff, his wishes to help us. Shannon checked us in, and I felt like I made a new friend, she was terrific! The room was spotless, with a beautiful view. The beds were heavenly, especially, after where we had just stayed. The whole staff was friendly and welcoming. Will be back for sure.

Just had a great weekend at the Harbor Hotel! The rooms and the common areas were spotless! The food was great and the staff couldn't be any more accommodating. Great location and views. I can't wait to go back.

Don't be fooled. The photos look great but the only thing this place has going for it is the proximitiy to the water. The carpets were DISGUSTING and stained beyond belief! On top of that, I'm pretty sure there were pubic hairs on the floor of our bathroom and there was a hole in the wall. Another family checking in right after us were disgusted as well so I KNOW it was not just our room. The door to the patio was so difficult to open that I litterally had to use all my body weight to budge it open or closed. Their "continental breakfast" includes toast, cereal, and over ripened fruit with poorly made coffee. I will NEVER stay here again, even if the room was free.

Maybe we went at a bad time; but it was far from a 4/5 star during our visit. Of course being January, we figured no pool. But we expected at least a nice get away. First, as we was checking in, we got a serious dirty look from an older gentleman behind the counter, for a good 5 mins of staring us down. We go to our first floor room, and it was like walking threw a dorm. We open the curtains and had a beautiful view of a fence. We headed back up front to ask for another room with a better view, figuring we might be lucky and get a room facing the water. Yeah. No. That building is closed during the winter so "the pipes won't freeze". Also mentioning we was guaranteed a balcony the response we got was "cement patio. Balcony. Same thing". We then proceeded to our "new" room at the back of the second building on the second floor. While unpacking our things, I happen to place my hand in a brown sticky substance, stains all over the carpets, the bathroom was very small, the bathmat disgusting. I turned over the blankets and there was hair on the sheets, we slept on top of the blankets. We ate at a local restaurant thinking, if this is how clean the rooms were. We could only imagine the kitchen. The atmosphere felt dirty, dark, vacant, creepy and ghetto, off-season or not, there's no excuse for poor cleanliness. The location was very convenient though.

This a dive hotel with a nice paint job and an IKEA catalog. Room leaked water and flooded floor. Service is awful with no one seemingly in charge or giving a damn. And "free" breakfast is worse then stopping at Cumberland farms.

Rooms were simple and clean. Awesome pool with a bar and food. Very nice staff. The rooms are pet friendly but there was no smell of previous animals. Nice continental breakfast and great location for shuttle into town. We will come again.
